Hi, A real annoying experience to say the least.Booked a flight ticket on 19th August .The ticket got confirmed and relevant details are generated.However, the next day I get a message that your ticket transaction has failed even though every thing seems fine.The ticket is still in confirmed mode. Neither calls nor email are to establish response from MMT. Indeed a pathetic response from a so called big company in service Industry

    Dear Sir, I am manikandan, i train booking on 21th july 8.30pm, trivandrum to mumbai, ticket is not confirmed, but amount is deducted in my account, amount 1921rs, I call weekly three times to makemytrip.com customer care, but his not response i attached my bankstatement, my booking id is NR[protected], i did not received my money till today date, my phone no is [protected], please follow him sir, i also send my bank statement to [protected]@makemytrip.com

      Hi, I have booked my ticket Pune -Kolkata return through makemytrip.com (ref id: NF[protected]. Now, two days before the journey, the airline (Indigo) they say that my onward journey is cancelled by makemytrip.com. Customer care of makemytrip.com is non responsive. Please help. I have to go home urgently.

      it can be miss management from makemytrip only, coz booking is done by them, airline had nothing to do with it if tickets were booked then why your ticket is cancelled, check ur PNR no. in indigo website, or call up customer care indigo regarding the ticket.indigo is a good airline and one of the most successful airlines presently just because they are best in customer care and service is best from there part, i understand your problem, because if you book ur ticket not it would be double or triple during the short period
      Yes, check it out from makemytrip call centre, airlines do not play a part,
      their might be some booking mistakes by make my trip side
      check PNR and why it was cancelled and when ?

        Dear Sir,

        This is to inform you that I have booked a two Volvo Bus ticket from Make My Trip on dated 26/6/2015 form Sparkel Tour And Travels from Dehradun to Delhi . The Bus Departure date 07/07/2015 at 10:00 PM and the Bus Type: VOLVO b7r 2X2 (41) AC Semisleeper . (PNR/ TICKET NUMBER[protected]/433451).

        Sir, as I was conformed about my ticket and address and bus boarding point, to the contact person which was mention the mobile number on my booked sheet, there is details was totally mentioned wrong. I was searching last 1 and half hours the sparkle tour and travels and bus boarding points but I didn’t get it . I did conformed from all the shop owner in 10-Gandhi Road, Darshan Lal Chowk, Dehradun, They told me that there is no any such type of name of tour & travels agent. I really shocked and nervous.. at that time I called the same number and he was asked me that you have to come at ISBT Depot and meet some Rao Travels and he will provide you the Volvo Bus and its almost 12 to 15 KM far from the 10-Gandhi Road, Darshan Lal Chowk.

        After facing many problems, I catched the bus when I reached there I saw the bus was same but the bus facilities was not Volvo type. I discussed with the organize he told me that which bus you had booked, is in bad condition and we have decided to arranged for you a another bus Which bus you had arranged for us was not in good condition. As you mentioned in the ticket the bus departure time was 10 p.m. but the bus arrived at 11.30 p.m.. This is the way to treat with your customer.

        I want to know that if the details was wrong than why you are mention in the ticket and also return me 60% amount of my total ticket cost.

        dear sir now I have not received any mail or response from make my trip side and this matter is pending from last 35 or 40 days and nobody is taking this matter seriously in make my trip organization.


        I have sent mails and remind form his customer care mail id several times against my complaint but neither they take any action nor they respond to me. I got only a mail from Mr. Partha Sarthi on 28th July of “Make My Trip” and he assured me that we will go in touch with you in 24 hours and from that date 360 hours have been passed and status is same. This is not the way to deal with the customer

        now you are request you to please look in to this matter and i really thankful to you for the same

          Makemytrip is the worst flight booking service . Never ever use it. I am frequent traveler and never faced such issue with any other flight booking site. I have re-scheduled a flight and made desired payment to re-schedule it . They haven't provided me new itinerary for new journey date. However, payment and date change reflect in my makemytrip account. When I call them to get new itinerary they are denying to change the journey date. I already made payment and planned my travel. Even if they refund date change amount what would I do as new tickets have gone increased like anything. MMT is not ready to refund full amount. It really took me half of the day to connect to their call center. DO NOT PLAN YOUR TRAVEL WITH MAKEMYTRIP. you may end up loosing up your money and might be able to reach to your planned destination on time.

I am a Tripura State Government Employee working with the "Tripura Tribal Research Institute" as a "Research Assistant". On the 27th of September, 2014, my son Shri Chandranan Dhar booked TWO SpiceJet flight tickets on the MakeMyTrip-dot-com website. In order to pay for the tickets, he used my SBI ATM/Debit card. Later on, my son cancelled both the tickets through MakeMyTrip website and the total amount for refund was calculated for TWO tickets as Rs.13, 298/_ (Rs.7167+Rs.6131) Bookind ID - NF[protected] Passenger Name - Sagar Singh From - Chennai To - Agartala Airline Name - Spice Jet Airline PNR - A8HNKT Bookind ID - NF[protected] Passenger Name - Chandranan Dhar From - Bangalore To - Agartala Airline Name - Spice Jet Airline PNR - N5NEXC Till date, the refund amount has NOT been credited back to my SBI account. Although, MakeMyTrip website says that refund has been "completed". Month of June, 2015, I went to Kolkata for a surgery of my Wife. There I saw one MakeMyTrip employee -- Subhendu Dhar, deputy manager finance and accounts, email id : subhendu.[protected]@makemytrip.com . He told me to scan my bank passbook and e-mail that to him. I also did that. But, till date, I never got any positive and concrete resolution to my problem. Apart from the textual details mentioned here in this e-mail, it would be my earnest REQUEST to you to go through the image files attached to this letter. Those images will elaborate and clarify all the necessary and relevant details. I look forward to your swift and positive response and a quick resolution to the pending refund. Thanks and Regards.                 I am a user of makemytrip services. On 18/008/2015 I tried to book a bus ticket amounting INR 558. I do had 600 Rs balance in my MMT wallet. But to my surprise the option to pay using MMT wallet didn't appear. So then when I read their rules regarding MMT wallet, it is written that, "MMT wallet" money can only be used for flight and hotel bookings. I am not a person who travel frequently nor the person who prefer to stay at hotels. So my Makemytrip Wallet money is still lying at their hands without utilization. In this regard I would like to raise an objection that, being a provider of different services why my wallet money is only restricted for airline or hotel booking..?? why MMT forces one to use his wallet money only for airline and hotel booking..?? As a loyal customer am I don't have the right to choose what I want to do with my money..?? When there are other service providers who give option to transfer wallet money to bank, why makemytrip doesnt provide that option..?? Holding ones money in the misleading name of my wallet, leaving no option to get the money back and forcing a customer to go for what they suggest, to me is a big fraudulent activity by makemytrip.

Initially, MakeMyTrip has refused to pay the refund saying that you have not received any amount from airline. Following which I have sent you an attachment (as a proof for said refund) produced by airline confirming that you have already received the refund amount which you have denied at first place. After that, you have accepted that the refund is still under process and asked for sufficient time to process my request. Now, already a month has been passed and till date I have not received my refund amount.                     A serious complain has been made to the Ministry of Tourism.. Dear Sir, At an extreme disappointment I am forced to write this mail to Make My Trip. I had made a hotel booking on Thu- 06, August 15, under Booking ID: NH[protected] and I received a confirmation mail for the same. The booking was done for my guest Mr. Shubham Agnihotri at OYO PREMIUM MUMBAI TERMINAL T2, SAKI VIHAR ROAD, MUMBAI. The booking was confirmed and I had received confirmation mail and SMS for the same followed by a missed called to be given by us as a confirmation for the same. On Sat-15, August 15, at 11:45 pm after a long distance journey when my guest reached the hotel he was surprisingly denied for any hotel booking in his name. When we inquired we were told by the hotel manager that he has not received any confirmation mail from OYO for room booking. We called up the customer care of MMT and OYO the conversation went for about one and half hour, a chain of phone call were made, till late night and worst part my guest kept on waiting in the reception of the hotel throughout waiting for the room to be offered. OYO people were trying to wash away their hands claiming that the confirmation mail has been sent to the hotel and hotel manager kept denying for any receipt of mail. Attitude of OYO people was as if their responsibility end at sending the mail and they are not concerned if the guest gets the room or not… Finally, considering worst expected support from MMT and OYO and above all my guest who was travelling a long distance international flight and being a sugar patient was left with no other option but to book a room at the same hotel and check in.. It does not stop here the worst part is exactly after 10 minutes of making payment for the hotel room the hotel manager confirms for receipt of mail from OYO (around two hours after entering the hotel). When we asked for the refund as now he has the confirmation mail he refused to do so claiming it to be fault of MMT and OYO. ITS AND ABSOLUTE CASE OF FRAUD, CHEATING AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL HARASSMENT. Its not our fault if the mail was not sent in advance to the hotel. We had done all the required formalities/payments and had the confirmation on mail. We were giving the booking ID of MMT which was not acceptable to the hotel manager. You are requested to consider this as a very serious complain and take the matter ahead for the strictest possible action and I would not hesitate to take the matter further up to any extent if required.                       I have booked an international flight ticket (air Arabia) in Make my trip. After Some issue the same ticket has been cancelled from the air arabia flight service provider. Ticket amount refunded from the flight service provided Air Arabia to make my trip. But Make my trip people not transferring the amount to my a/c. They're saying we didn't received the refund from the air Arabia. When I am discussing with air Arabia cust.Care they said already refund amount transferred to Make my trip. Make my trip Cust.care people nobody responding properly regarding this. I am having the amount transferred statement proof from air arabia.

                          I had booked a return flight from delhi to cochin and the travel agent who had booked the ticket had taken Rs 36000 for the tickets. The booking IDs are NF[protected] and NF[protected]. I had ‪to cancel my flights due to some unforeseen circumstances and the amount I have been told that will be returned to me is approx Rs 14, 500 which means that the agent or MMT have taken Rs 22, 000 as cancellation amount. This is not acceptable. I have checked the terms and conditions mentioned on the tickets and it says that the charges would be Rs 2500 (max) per ticket per sector. Please help.                             I had booked a flight ticket from Bangalore to Kolkata for 26th August, 2015 via Makemytrip.com. I had not booked the ticket in any sale or discount nor was I informed of any special fare. The ticket specifically mentions that it is a refundable fare ticket. The cancellation slab (link given in the ticket) shows that the cancellation charge as Rs.[protected] days before the travel date). However, when I tried cancelling the ticket on 10th of August, it showed me that the cancellation charge of full base fare Rs. 3639 would apply. On contacting with "Makemytrip.com" they are saying that the ticket I booked is a special fare ticket and hence entire base fare would be charged as cancellation fee and no amount would be refunded. I think this is a clear case of misrepresentation as I was no way informed that this is a non-refundable fare ticket. Moreover, I did not book the ticket in any sale or discount hence it cannot be said that it is a special fare ticket.

However, in the e-ticket sent to you it was mentioned that the ticket is refundable. Now as checked our concerned team has processed refund with cancellation penalty as Inr 1500 + Inr 200 = Inr 1700. Find below the details of refund :

                            Total amount by passenger : Inr 4008 (From Bank Account)+ Inr 273 (From payback account) = Inr 4281.00
                            Total Cancellation charges : Inr 1500 + Inr 200 (Convenience Fee) = Inr 1700.00

                              Today I booked three ticket from Delhi to HYD for 16 Aug 2015 to attend the training workshop at Hyderabad. Instead of Aug 16, 2015 App automatically booked ticket for Dec 16, 2015 and full money had been deducted from my account. When I requested to the customer care of Make my Trip Mr Pankaj (Customer care), he have refused to refund the amount for all three passangers, which, is very painful and mental harassment for me.

                              Also now am not able to travel to HYD on Aug 16, 2015 due to non availability of funds for our current travel, which affects badly on our carrier. There are two PNR numbers generated for three passengers by make my trip app. This shows fault in their app for getting money.

                              Here I request you to please intervene in-between and help to get full refund of the amount that is Rs 10, 765 for all three passengers.

                                On 10th July, a travel agent (ROHIT MANDAL) booked packages and flight tickets via MAKEMYTRIP AND A MAKEMYTRIP EMPLOYEE (who according to travel agent works in cancellation department of MakeMyTrip, named VINITA KAUSHIK) for approx 20 people of same office . Bookings were done for us and money charged mostly via cash, later on today (13 August) we discovered all our bookings were canceled and hotel bookings were fraud. All money which was paid via Card must have been credited to someones account. In all the documents received there is reference of MakeMyTrip which shows that there is someone from MakeMyTrip who is involved in these activities. Please provide support in recovering the amount and also in identifying the employee associated with this as this if goes out of hand is going to tarnish the image of makemytrip badly. I say this after realizing that there might be lots more out there who have been looted by this person using the same make my trip ID. I couldn't attach images related to the bookings because of security reasons. If there is any mail id where in I can take this forward then share. Expecting a prompt and positive response!

                                  Hi, we booked a trip with MMT with trip dated in sept. they booked it at aug dtae. then they said to change dates they will charge money. after long processes and enough days, they changed date. once dates were changed then they charged more than the amount promised earlier. when i reverted them back, they said pay 20000 we will change the final price. they said that we will forfeit your amount if payment not done. hence i cancelled my trip as it took 1 month and loss of 5300 rs. they are not refunding my money now and i am feeling cheated. :(

                                    You have one of the worst services. Make my trip plays around with customers. Case in point was my booking through your site. Booking id was NF[protected]. I cancelled my return journey on 26 Jul. As told by customer care charges for cancellation would be Rs1250+Rs 250 per ticket. In addition total amount of Rs 350 would be charged as convenience charges. There fore total charges for cancellation was Rs 3350 (two tickets)Total cost of ticket was close Rs 5100. Amount refunded was Rs 314 which is like throwing pea nuts at customer. In fact I had cancelled ticket on 26 Jul. No action for refund was initiated. I again called on 12 Aug then they initiated the procedure. It is still not understood how are you charging and making fool of customers. Lodged the complaint on 12 Aug 15. Ref no is[protected]. It is requested to look into the matter and resolve the issue. From now my advice to everyone would be to avoid the worst services of make my trip.

                                      On 10th July 2015, I booked 3 rooms at Koh Samui, Thailand in a Hotel Punnpreeda Pool Villa Beachfront Samui Hotel for 2 nights starting 1st August 2015 to 3rd August 2015, via MAKEMYTRIP Booking ID: NH[protected] for which I had made online payment. As a request, I sent an email to the hotel for early check in, but was surprise to know that our rooms were booked for a different inferior hotel. This was a budget hotel of the same group name Replay Residence and Pool Villa. I sent mails for clarification, spoke to their customer care executive Ms. Birva Patel and her Senior Mr. Abhijeet Shukla number of times, where they kept assuring me that the hotel booked by me was the same and I don't need to worry. Since this was a Group vacation with our friends, I wanted no issues. I confirmed the same with the hotel and their General Manager Ms. Salinee confirmed that there was some error and that the booking was not done for Hotel Punnpreeda and if we still wanted the same hotel, we would be required to pay additional Rs. 30, 000/ night. I forwarded all the mails to Make my trip and on the last day before we were to fly, Mr. Abhijeet came up with a new story that the Hotel has changed their name from Hotel Punnpreeda to Hotel Replay Residence, after we had booked. We knew that this was a LIE as we could still see the two different hotels for booking at their website. But Mr. Abhijeet assured that if we were able to get proof of these being two different properties, they would compensate my entire trip. ( Air tickets were also booked on makemytrip.com) When we reached the Hotel we found that there were two different properties opposite each other across the road and the General Manager also confirmed that we were cheated by Makemytrip as they charged us for Hotel Punnpreeda and booked us for Hotel Replay Residence. We got the same in writing from Ms. Salinee (General Manager), which was mailed to Ms. Birva. After a horrible stay and accepting all the assurances from Makemytrip, the portal has washed their hands off and still claiming that the hotel has changed their name. We would like to lodge a complaint and take all legal actions against the Portal, so that they improve their services or shutdown their FRAUD web portal.
