Dear Sir / Madam I had made international flight booking for 3 passengers on 27-Jun-15 under booking ID IN1506B2S269415. Total payment was Rs. 264786. Due to some visa issues, I had to cancel the ticket of 2 passengers on 4-July-15. I initiated the cancellation from their site and total deductions were shown Rs. 15160 (Rs. 7580 per person). They initiated the refund of Rs 74602 on 7-July. I am not sure till date how they arrived at this figure for the refund. Actual refund amount should be Rs. 161364. I am trying to get the balance amount Rs 86762. I have been trying this since last 3 week by calling their customer care number and repeated email follow-ups, but each time they are giving weird response and will ask to wait for 3 days. But they never get back on this. Kindly help me to get my refund. Thanks

    Hi, My sister had booked her honeymoon package for Europe from MakeMyTrip. She made the bookings on 18th April 2015 and the date of departure was 13th May. So initially she paid 60k Rs. She had also informed the MakeMyTrip that her wedding is on 26th April 2015. She sent her documents for Visa but MakeMyTrip found some flaws in that. They also asked her over the telephone that they will postponed her package as Visa will not be filed on time now. For that she had to pay 50K Rs more. After getting 110K total, MakeMytrip said that they will postpone it. But nothing has been done till yet. After calling MakeMytrip several thousands times, now they are saying that they cannot give alternate trip or refund the money. Please look into this matter. Thanks, Deepesh

    This issue is still not resolved. Your management has not done anything.
    I think they will only do something when they are summoned in court.
    I was trying to avoid this but now this is the only thing that needs to be done.

      I made air ticket booking through makemytrip of a passenger whose doesn't have last name on his document. So while filling details I just fill first name section and left second name blank. And there system allows me to do so and I proceed to next page to make payment with one popup message saying you should have valid document having this name. But finally after making payment the tickets I received are having this passengers name written twice ie. first name is also mentioned as second name. When I talk to there executive they said if passenger is not having second name one should mention Mr/Mrs/Miss as first name. But no such information was there at there web page... This such foolish thing they are saying to hide a very basic flaw in there system. I think this has happen to many more can anyone help me in this how one can sort this out or how these makemytrip guys will act on this...

        Complaint issue : Refund has not given for amount of 172000 INR. Date if incident : 30th June Full description : I made cancellation request for ticket from MUMBAI - Venezuela (caracus) but since last 20days makemytrip (MMT) was telling me about will be refunded and we have some issue internally and now they updated status saying amount can not be refunded. Refund : i am looking to get refund of my total amount with interest and i have all proof to open case with them. -PDF cofy of 1st refund status. -Invoice. -email from Makemytrip saying amount of 155331 will be refunded.

          Hi,
          I booked tickets for two person on 29th June 2015, but received ticket for one person. I gave complain but always getting a response wait for 7 days or 4 days its escalated to concerned team. I have sent several emails to [protected]@makemytrip.com and got a refund after 23 days but i was promised to get eticket for other person. I was asked for screenshot and all for 3 times, so please take screen shot while booking tickets and don't trust make my trip on what they tell. I spoke to 4 advisor on same day and got 4 answers. I would suggest customers not to go with makemytrip they are not trust worthy, still am waiting for my tickets..

            i have booked my indigo ticket on makemytrip.com on 15th july 2015 but due to my change in plan i opted for cancellation on 16th july 2015 but the refund amount is not available and the cancellation is also not processing, the custumer care is also not cooperating with me. please help me to cancel my ticket as early as possible and refund the desired amount.

                Before book the ticket or waisting your money please read this: I booked ticket from MMT, boarding point Rajeev chowk. When I entered in bus, I saw somebody already occupied my birth. I said sir its my birth, they said talk to the conductor, I asked conductor what is this sir it's my birth they said it's first come first server facility.After 30 min I saw other online guys they also facing same problem, actually they already sold all the birth taking cash from that guy's. I said but what about online reservation they abused me and said from where ever you booked ticked and complain there. I called shri krishna travels customer care they said to me give the phone to the conductor after 2, 3 min disucssion they said sir he will arrange another seat for you, I said ok, conductor said me sit on the bonut near the driver he will arrange, after 1 hour asked what happen sir, he said seat is not arranged do complain wherever you want to do...or you want to leave I will stop the bus get down.It's night nearly 11:30. So I will sit on bonut whole night.If you guys not believe me call other customer and take the feedback..I took some pictures please note that on single birth 2 guys adjust on that and on double birth's 3 guys are there...Conductor is in yellow shirt when I took pics he said no one will do anything it's all waist.can you tell me it's my mistake to book ticket from MMT.I booked ticket from MMT because it's a branded name, please take some action so other customer will not suffer.                     One of the worst the the the worst service I have ever experienced. You guys don't have minimum responsibility to give a call back to customers ( expected a call back from Vandana Negi, Deepika ( Vandana.[protected]@makemytrip.com ) ...I have called so many times since a week on a daily basis by asking a call back and you guys did'nt responded back. Few I wont suggest your service to any of my friends or family to avail your services. Some your representatives are very good ( ex Rahul, Priya, lakshyay ) and provided good service. Regards, Kasi

                      I have booked air tickets from rajahmundry to hyderabad and from hyderabad to Mangalore on[protected] under Ref: NF[protected]. After reaching hyderabad I had been to your customer in Shamshabad Airport and requested for a printout of the ticket from hyderabad to mangalore. the staff on duty in the counter refused to do so and when I enquired his name, he refused to give and behaved very rudely with me. The main official was not in the counter and after waiting for some time and when the incharge came to the counter, I narrated my experience with him and desired to know the name of the person who misbehaved. The incharge also spoke in the same way and simply said since he was not at the scene, he do not want to interfere and names cannot be given. I am very sorry for the behaviour of your staff. I shall be much obliged if you take suitable action against them, otherwise what ever courtesy service rendered from your head quarters, will go waster with these types of guys. The incident took place on[protected] between 11.30 and 12.00 noon.

                        I am an old customer with 5020 payback points I made a booking for a return journey Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai.NF[protected] for 7th Aug and returning 13th aug. But when I got the ticket the return journey showed as 13th sept. When I asked for cancellation of the return journey due to the wrong date they took unusually long time. Hence I have booked directly through Jet airways for 2287/-. Today I got a call from MMTrip saying that the cancellation penalty is Rs.2250/- which is almost equal to the fare of return journey. The staff in your office is ill informed about the procedures and take long time to answer calls. I am sorry I feel disappointed and decided not to venture in to MMTrip for any future bookings.

                        I am told that the cancellation money after deducting 2250/- will be given after completing the onward journey. How come the cancellation of return journey of 13th sept is connected with the onward journey of 7th august. Also the penalty is equivalent to the actual cost of the ticket that I booked through the airlines.
                        Then why one needs to go through Makemytrip.

                          Booking ID NN[protected] I booked flight from calicut to doha and cancelled.                             My name is Peter from chennai. I was trying to make a hotel booking using my wallet money which i got as cash back for using my hdfc bank card. It was clearly mentioned that the cash back can be used for domestic flight and hotels. I used the same while my booking yesterday and it got deducted. Balance i paid by my credit card. Still idid not get the confirmation of my booking. My booking id is IN1507B3S152608. If i login with this booking id still the amount is showing as pending.

                              I have booked Spicejet flight ticket from Mumbai to Vijayawada for May 21 through Makemytrip .But Spicejet told me that flight will be delayed for more than five hours. Spicejet provided me fight ticket from Mumbai to Hyderabad and told me that they will be refunding the amount of Hyderabad to Vijaywada. After Few days, I contacted Spicejet about my refund and they have told me that they have already processed and transferred the fund to agency through which i booked my ticket (Makemytrip). When I contacted makemytrip about the same. They have kept it in pending for long time without giving any relevant reply

                                Dear Sirs The seemingly deliberate action on your part so as to change the original scheduled Flight 9W-503 to 9W-6607 so as to miss my connecting Flight 9W-2613 was most unbecoming and unexpected from MakeMyTrip.Com. Was this done to accommodate some one else? I will have to think twice to use the Services of MakeMyTrip .Com in future.                                   What do you mean by you need the cc statement in pdf file. Cant you find a more lamer excuse than this.
                                  Please give me your directors phone and email ids i do not wish to talk to people like you who cannot take any decision and waste our time.
                                  You people have no moral will to settle this if you have any shame left either send the refund or please donate it to the golden temple and send me the receipt.
                                  I shall keep reminding you every day until you either you refund or you donate and there after tweet it around so that at least my circle is not at your mercy.

                                  With reference to our earlier communication, we would like to inform you that as per the confirmation received from our finance department, the payment gateway (Mediator between your and our bank) requires the bank/cc statement to trace the transaction details.

                                  Further, kindly share the bank statement form the date 08 nov 2014 to till date for further investigation. We request you to provide us a copy of bank or credit card statement in pdf or jpeg format.

                                  In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that refund of Inr 11050/- for unconfirmed booking has been processed on 8-Nov-14 only and as checked with payment gateway the same was already settled with your bank on 9-Nov-15.

                                  There was a delay in providing the correct refund status as our accounts team was unable to trace the same with payment gateway. As per bank’s requirement payment gateway requires customer’s bank statement since the date of transaction to check details with bank. Please check with your bank with ARN#'74332744313431279405092.

                                  In case your bank denies for any refund processed from our end. We request you to please file a Charge Back dispute with the Bank.

                                  Make my trip company is in a habit of delaying the refund to the extent that a consumer is frustrated and lets it go.Mr dinesh thakur claims he refunded the amount d very next day and my bankers deny having received any credit for them.

                                  I once again strongly recomend that people should avoid using their services.I had requested them to donate this money to a gurudwara but that also they will not do.I have purchased tickets from them running into lacs and this is what they do to me and god forbid if you are their new client what will happen.There are other sites with better offers and services.Please say good bye to make my trip.

                                  If make my trip has any moral standing please ask them to put it in black and white the refund details and i shall get a rebuttal from my bankers.

                                  I think income tax people should take a note of this.

                                  What can I say just imagine a company takes from Nov 08 to date to verify from their accounts department (how far is their accounts department from their office that it takes 8 months to confirm whether the payment was made or not).Apart from me getting the payment or not I wish to warn every traveller to please refrain from using their services coz they are just waiting for you do a cancellation an that is it.
                                  I would love to receive participation from fellow travellers who are suffering like I am and I am willing to take them to the court of law and teach them a lesson.I have today issued instructions to all my offices in Mumbai, Siliguri and London not to purchase tickets from this company.I will follow this with warning my friends on face book and twitter.

                                    False Offers-Debit of Loyalty Discounts

                                    The website advertises of Loyalty discounts against each booking. Which got debited on its own without any bookings. Since Marcy 2015 am escalating to the management of makemytrip.com for a revert, yet they have not been bothered to revert on the same in 5 months. The status still shows as open. Any suggestion what can be done to get them to penalise...

                                    Never book anything from MakeMyTrip False Commitment, Harassment, Poor customer service, Ignorance and so on! My issue with booking id: NF[protected] Complaint Number: *[protected] *[protected] *[protected] *[protected] Hi, I had booked a ticket from Chennai to Bangalore through Makemytrip Mobile App for August 4th 2015 Spicejet 15:45 flight and when i received an email from Makemytrip with Itinerary it shows August 3rd 6:15 AM flight which i have never opted or selected. I tried to reach customer support, but the customer support is so worst that they put your call on hold and never resume, i almost called several times and had to wait almost 50min in each call and the same way they put on hold and never resume. Very bad experience from Makemytrip support also i feel that booking directly through airline website is always suggested because this is purely an issue with Makemytrip software and at the end of the day customer loses his money My mobile app shows original booking but when i visit website and check on manage booking i can see the faulty ticket I have attached here screenshot of my ticket booked from Mobile and the ticket that was received, you can see both have same booking id.

                                    Yes my problem is resolved but after posting on multiple websites and following up almost 30-40 times.

                                    Let me know what is the step or process that you have taken to address this type of issues when Customer calls you first time.

                                    Also it is known that your Customer support puts call on hold and never responds back, there are times when i had waited almost 2 hour on the call just to check if your customer support replies and they never did.

                                      Makemytrip.com - the most horrible experience. Please donot ever book with them. We booked a four star hotel using makemytrip. And guess what ? The standards were like a minus star hotel. Shalimar Spice Garden in Thekkady. The road leading to it was non existent, and the cottages and rooms were located after a heavy trek. No where is it mentioned u need to walk to go up! The staff were ok, but the manager was the most horrible! Anyway this post Is about makemytrip and not the hotel so without goin into too much hotel details. I would just say makemytrip is running a money back guarantee scam. They claim To refund the Money If the hotel amenities are not as advertised. But that's not at all the case. Especially we Westerners need to be aware of it. We think they are the travel agents and hence can be trusted but despite multiple attempts to make calls and emails, no response from the agency to even return a call. They keep mailing everyday that we tried to contact you. What a load of ! India should have some sort of Consumer protection to fight against this. Not only have they refused for a refund but they don't answer to any complaints made either. Next time pls prefer booking.com Atleast they don't steal your money.
