I booked a ticket in Makemytrip.com to travel from Coimbatore to Bangalore in Jet airways 9W-2650 flight on 17th July 2015. I cancelled this ticket since the flight was delayed by 2 hours and i have to get my connecting flight to go Singapore. After cancelling the ticket i called the customer care for refund for my ticket. Customer care executive asked me to submit Stamp document from Airlines since the cancellation is for special purpose (Flight delay). I submitted the stamp document which i got from Airline on August 12th. After submitting the stamp document i received mail that i would get my refund within next 7 working days. After 7 days i called customer care and they again asked me to wait 7days. After 7 days too they have not refunded my money. Still in customer care execuive keep on telling i have to wait 7 days. There was not response from makemytrip.com for my request. My complaint reference number is[protected] and My booking id is NF[protected].

Further in regards to your complaint, please note that we have tried contacting on your listed number however got no response. Also we have checked and found that refund for INR 7, 294.00/- has been initiated on 31-AUG-2015 with RRN #[protected] as same would be reflecting in your account as per your bank processing cycle.

Do note that airlines has declined for full refund as flight departed at 23:30 which was rescheduled for 55 minutes and as per their procedure full refund is only being offered if flight is rescheduled for more than 01 hour. Same charge deduction is reflected in the airlines stamped document which has been forwarded by you.

We hope that your concern has been resolved satisfactorily now.

    I just completed my travel made car rental booking with makemytrip from 7-10 August 2015 from delhi-Agra-Mussoorie-Delhi four months in advance, very well planned and well did homework. I was initially contacted by dilasini an agent from makemytrip for my whole itinerary lucky i booked my own accomodation. Reference IS:[protected]. Makemytrip was so caring until you make your payment. Once your payment is done, you're dead forever. This agent prepared a itinerary on friday to visit agra. I asked her to change itinerary as agra and most shops will be closed on friday's. Advised her to add dhaunalti to itinerary. She repeatedly told me that she's waiting for the techinical team to update her. She prolonged this until a week before our travel, then suddenly she is informing your bookings are transferred to my manager mahesh bhatt. This guy talked to us so friendly and said he'll will help us by guiding us in the trip along as we are visiting india for first time. This guy mahesh bhatt charged us no fee for guiding instead he made us to book hotel, food and travel expenses for him. He said he travelled agra like 1000times and mussoorie like 3times. Thats the reason we decided to take his help. We finally regretted a lot for it. This guy never revealed any information related to driver or rental service, just replied always am travelling along and everything well taken care of, dont worry. I again updated this guy that itinerary must be changed as agra is closed on fridays and dhanaulti must be added. Dont worry just pay few hundreds/thousands extra driver will take you wherever you want and can inform the driver on the spot. No need to be included in the itinerary was told. Once we arrived the airport, there is noone to pickup us from the airport. Mahesh bhatt made us to wait in airport for two hours at the Airport EXIT. We are all three friends travelled together. He picked us from airport only after we made a call to him and simply said nothing for his delay. Then instead of taking us through yamuna expressway this guy took us through another way that took 6hours to reach agra and reached agra at 9pm and all shops were closed. This guy ate food like hell as though he has never seen any food before. His hotel was booked by us, his travel for car by us was upgraded to 3000 rupees extra for him and all of his expenses were paid by us. Then they told me all driver food, toll taxes are included in package. But we paid for for every meal of driver food and all toll taxes etc. When we asked him so many questions, he always replied us dont know, dont ask me, i am just travelling like a friend and nothing to do with guiding. You must ask dilasini. When we asked him then for what reason you travelled with us, no reply, am just a friend. How the hell he could become our friends if he didnot take up this booking via makemytrip. Finally we didnot do any sightseeing for four days except for taj mahal. We did 2hrs shopping at mall road mussoorie that's it. We made a complaint registered to makemytrip, but instead of providing solution, this company just closed the case thrice without notifying or contacting us for anything. I repeatedly reopend the case and they kept closing the case after a week without contacting us for anything. This guy whatsapp us to withdraw complaint as he'll lose his job. The way he pleaded, wrote an email that this is misunderstanding. Immediate after this email, this guy again started troubling us by forcing us to take a trip along with him and pay for him again for accomodation. We reopened the case again on him of this behaviour. This guy immediately sent an whatsapp msg that will you withdraw your complaint ot you want me to lose my job and this guy is so stubborn to cheat people as many times as he would. MAkemytrip took no action and simply closed the case. Now the case is reopened again two days back. Never ever choose this makemytrip forever in your life viewers. They can never help people in their bookings. They just want to protect their honor and their employees who cheat their customers. Lucky the driver was so good and he helped us by saving us from this guy and his cheap tricks. Thanks to the driver. Decided never makemytrip again for anyone as they dont makeur trip, they spoilurtrip. Pls be careful before choosing your travel agents, rather choose your own car rental services and plan your itinerary to save all your money. That saves a lot of money. As everything is available online now. choose the trusting partners not someone like makemytrip who cheat on their customers and never care to provide solution too.

    Mmt again closed the case purposely or without reading full content. I have reopened my case many times for them to take action. I have notified the reason clearly why this case was reopened again and again.

    Its because after sending the email to hellotravel, i have not forwarded this email to mmt until they close my case today. i forwarded the email i sent to hellotravel to mmt only today after 7pm (31 August 2015). I have only provided partial screenshot of email to mahesh bhatt. How do mmt know that i sent an email to hellotravel in the first place without notifying prior to closing my case?? Do they have any answer for this?? As i gave a screenshot only to mahesh bhatt and informed him, its just to save your job and i will not withdraw my complaint from mmt. But immediately after this mahesh bhatt repeated the same cheating trick and forced me to take rajasthan tour holiday package for 10days and he was very nasty when i refused to take the package. So immediately i resend an email to hellotravel to withdraw any feedback of misunderstanding about makemytrip and their employees. But mmt is taking advantage of initial email sent to hellotravel to close the case without investigating the case thoroughly.

    I have personally not sent any withdraw complaint request directly to mmt or their employees and i hold all proof for it. I am reopening cases for mmt to take action instead they kept closing until today.

    Someone with commonsense will definitely think why is the case reopened every time. And will call respective person to verify on this issue.. No-one ever called except for one time by khyati trivedi and explained her everything already. Mmt wants to purposely close this case trying to find reasons. Rather it will be better if they can use their commonsense to think, why this case is reopened again and again.

    Can MMT break all the records of the complaints filed against by being honest and sincere to provide justice to the customers affected by them and their employees??

    Will they come forward to take action against their own employees for using mmt to cheat their customers???

    How much do mmt care for their customers who get cheated??

      This is in regard refund status of my transaction. I booked 2 indigo Flight tickets on 9th of July'15 but the booking failed and the transaction was successful. They actually grabbed my Rs.18580/- . They promised me on 9th of July that the amount will be refunded within 2 working days. Buf nothing happened like this. Its been 2 months now since I am requesting them to refund my amount. They're making stupid excuses that my bank is not accepting the refund amount to my bank account. I even asked my bank about this but my bank also declined and said they've never received any amount or any request from makemytrip company. Horrible experience being a customer to them. Horrible travel agency.

          Email ID : [protected]@GMAIL.COM I was making a payment of Rs.4460 through my Payback points(Rs.1952) and rest Rs.2508 through my credit card. The payback payment was succesfull and then the card payment got declined by your useless servers. Because of this reason now I have to wait for 7 days to get those points back and its only after it that I will be able to use them. Within 7 days the prices of the flight will definitely increase. Now tell me whose fault is it. Will Make My Trip pay for the extra amount that I will have to bear to make the payment on a later date. Reply ASAP.

            Dear Sir, my self santosh chandra and I have booked a two Volvo Bus ticket from Make My Trip on dated 26/6/2015 form Sparkel Tour And Travels from Dehradun to Delhi . The Bus Departure date 07/07/2015 at 10:00 PM and the Bus Type: VOLVO b7r 2X2 (41) AC Semisleeper . (PNR/ TICKET NUMBER[protected]/433451). sir i have already complained you on dated 19/08/2015, of make my trip regarding the worst service me, and all details i have send to him (make my trip) they want.. but till date my complaint status is same . after complained in consumer complaints web site, i have not received a sufficient feedback or your end.. I have sent mails and remind form make my trip customer care mail id several times against my complaint but neither they take any action nor they respond to me...             till date i have not received any feedback for make my trip side please return my 60% amount of my total ticket cast.

Am registering this complaint to expose the service and cheating tricks of MAKE MY TRIP team. makemytrip has cheated me of 906 dhirams for the cancelled ticket from abu dhabi to bangalore I dont have words to expalain that how worst is their service. Itenary were Abu Dhabi-Bangalore Via Pune. Abu Dhabi(AUH) Pune(PNQ) Jet Airways 9W-513 Departure- Thu, 23 Jul 15, 23:15 hrs Reach - Fri, 24 Jul 15, 04:05am hrs Duration:3h 20m for pune to Bangalore there were two flights on 24 Jul 2015, at 5:45 am and another at 11:25 am, unknowingly, i booked ticket for flight at 11:25 am, In next few minutes, I called customer care number - [protected]. I explained to the agent about wrong selection of the timings for my connecting flight.The agent(the person who attends the phone call) said that if i go for change in timings, I need to pay Rs 2, 500 more. He said that instead of changing the timings, I can CANCEL the ticket and go for new one. this is the solution he gave me. so i asked him, what about the refund, he said the airlines will refund the full amount without any deduction, He said max it will take 10 days, so i agreed to cancel the ticket and go for the new one. travel dates remains same, but the timings from pune to bangalore will change from 11:25am to 5:45am. I was not knowing that make my trip will cheat me. I thought makemytrip.com is a reliable and trustful website but i was wrong. I'm calling makemytrip.com from last 20-25 days, they were saying me that the call should be traced and if the agent has committed to give the refund, it will happen. but each time i call them, they would recall the full story and just waste time without any proper action. Now they have come up with a new thing, they are saying that I had to raise the refund request withing 10 days of cancellation of the ticket. I'm surprised from their cheap tactics. finally they want to say that refund is not possible. My question is what happened to 906 dhirams of ticket money. what is their follow up process with their customers. why they do not have the system to refund the amount with proper maintainance of Logs. I request the adminitrator to interfere in this matter solve this issue. I'm going to reach this fraud from make my trip to all my reachable sources. I will also try to contact media here in uae and bangalore. like this makemytrip may have cheated lakhs of people this has to be addressed with strict laws from govt agencies. my email id = [protected]@gmail.com

              I'm very much thankful to God that Consumer complaint site is Real. They have a great influence on the vendors. I had followed up makemytrip.com consumer service agents like anything. every other day I used to call makemytrip.com to resolve my issue. but noting happened. finally they told I would not get my money back. but consumer complaint forum came to my rescue when I lodge a complaint. makemytrip had to refund my amount.                   Failed to Reissue International E-Tickets even after charging creditcard

                  Dear Sirs/Madam, this is utter shame to the Travel Company Make My Trip, they charged me more than the Airlines would have to change my 6 years old son's and my E-Tickets. Stranded at the Airport had to pay double the amount since the booking class was sold out. Make My Trip is a ridiculous company. Staff is unfriendly over the phone, they have hung up the phone while talking at least 50 times. I am extremely extremely disappointed....

                  Pending refurn. Makemytrip complaint reference ID:[protected] . Ticket cancelled PNR Z1Y7LJ Go Air, 06.03.2015. This reference ID was created on 30 Mar'15 so that I could get a refund for my cancelled ticked. PNR Z1Y7LJ Go Air. Ticked was booked at the makemytrip counter at Mumbai Airport and was cancelled at Go Air ticket counter at Mumbai Airport. Booked and cancelled on 06.02.2015. I did escalate this issue online till "Write To Management" and for a longtime now the status is showing as "Resolution In Progress." I did send more messages asking for an update and I am not getting update on how long it may take for the refund.

                    Dear All, Very bad experience. I wanted to know the details of Coupon to use in Makemytrip.com. I have emailed Pragati Customer support exectuive . I have called them since two days before making booking. Requested Call Back too. Pragati have asked me to mail the coupon screen shot. I have mailed her. Asked for explanation for the same. But She confirmed call back will be given. And after which the coupon was about to get expiry. I called them again. They have no clue about it. I used the code. But their Mobile App payment gateway sucks to the core. From 4.3o pm was booking through App. I was able to book around 7.30 pm. By this time the Aircosta offer got expired. I have sent items of Coupon code sent. But no reply over Email . I have Called them also no reply. Management has taken the number from which i called to. They possibly have heard the recorded conversation still they are not taking any action and accepting their mistake. They work in Era of 1947. Now everything is online. I am ready to prove . Their app sucks to core. I am ready to Visit Chennai Head office too.If i go they will no hear. MakeMyTrip is not accepting anything. Such Unethical Company never seen

                        makemytrip a fraud travel agency website, with lap topoffices no action taken by the police as wll the ministry so far, is the two entiried bribed by this fraud, its a quesiton mark, many people have been cheated by this fraud, people stay away from booking your tickets online by this makemytirp webstie, first th e informaiton ministry must ban this website, e make mytrip is a fraud travel agency why the indian railways and td trahe airways are permitting such fake and middle man the fake website who eats people money, , and midirect the people, as well cehating the passengers once the money is sucked from the debirt cards and the credit cards heaven sake people stay away from this dirty fraud, makemytrip first the indian civila aviations minister and athe media must highlgiht and ban this website, to stop cheating the people and athe society, , the makemytrip is a fraud and cheating the society, all other countries ban this travel broker website immediately, , , ,

                          For booking ID: NH[protected]. we were supposed to receive refund of hotel cancellation, below was mail from make my trip. "Response By Email (PruthvishSinh Dabhi) (07/08/2015 02.26 PM) Dear Mr. Mudavathu, Thank you for contacting MakeMyTrip Customer Support regarding your request refund for the booking ID NH[protected]. We would like to inform you that the refund has been processed and the amount is credited into the same account that was used for payment. Kindly refer to the following details: Refund Processed Date: 26th July, 2015". However, I have been following up from a month now and they are giving wrong information, some time processed and its pending with bank and other time time its just processed it will take 72 hours and again after 72 hours when called back to make my trip, they say its processed just ow nad would take more 96 hours. its been a month and we still did not get refund

                            I train ticket booking make mytrip.com website on 21th july 8.30 pm, Trivandrum to mumbai, ticket is not confirmed, but amount is debited in my account, i send my bank statement to [protected]@makemytrio.com, but he is not response that, my booking id is NR[protected], my money did not received my account till today date, please follow him sir, my no is [protected].i call makemytrip customer care three days only, but he is not response, please kindly my money to received my hand.

                              I booked tickets from Delhi to Goa with Makemytrip via mobile app and paid 8343 as booking amount. My booking refrence ID is -NF[protected]. Booking was done with my name i.e. Udit Gulati. Flights were rescheduled by airlines and they told us that full refund will be processed. I called makemytrip and communicated the same thing and they assured that full refund will be credited to my account in 7 days i.e. before 7th august. I didn''t recieve any refund except 3293 + 350 rs from them in august. I claimed leftover amount from them and they assured me that i will get it before 14th august. Despite waiting and not getting any refund, i complained and they told me to wait till 21st august and then again 26th august. I have called them atleast 20 times in this period and despite long waiting and holding time agents never gave me any resolution. I have communicated this on emails too with their management but still they are saying that we need some more time. My 4 more friends booked same flights by makemytrip and they have recieved the full amount even though tickets were cancelled and booked on the same day. I have a last hope from your side. Please help me to get my money back. I have called them alot and waited for even an hour on call but no resolution. Even call charges were incurred for long waiting time but resolution was still not given. Please take this case on priority and feel free to contact me [protected].

                                I cancelled ticket on on 15th July 2015. Cancelled through Makemytrip on 16th July 2015. There is no acknowledgment from their end so i called up and lodged a complaint no.[protected] on 10/8/2015. They said money will be refunded within 7 days. No response i called the customer care no clarity at their end.

                                Please kindly process the refund.

                                    My flight is scheduled on 28th August and when i tried to cancel my ticket on 23rd August the cancellation charges is showing as Rs 2900 as Airline Cancellation charges and Rs 250 as Make my Trip Charges.But when I enquired from Airlines they told me that cancellation charge is Rs 2000 not 2900. I dont understand why MakeMytrip is playing such games.I had a dropped a mail to their customer care and till now awaiting their response.                                       I have booked Rail ticket on 26th April 2015 from Cochin to Mumbai (BOOKING ID: NR[protected] for 3rd May 2015, the train cancelled due to IRCTC issues & field TDR on the same day itself (CANCELLATION REFERENCE NO: IN1505R1S021606). Till now I have contacted customer care many times, submitted bank statement, every time I am getting different replies and promises. I have not received refund till now. I am really disappointed with "make my trip" team's approach and behaviour.
