    It has been more than 3 Months and I have not yet received the amount for the Flight which had been cancelled by me. On 9th December, 2014 I had made a booking whose ID is - MakeMyTrip Booking ID - IN1412B6S065455 I cancelled this Flight and its Reference Number is - IN1412R6S110377 The ticket was cancelled and I received an email from MakeMyTrip that the refund will be initiated within 5 Working Days on 15th December 2014. I had also contacted the customer care regarding this and I was assured that I will get the refund in 5 Working days. Due to a Certain Emergency I could not keep a track of the Refund, however later on I found out that the amount had not been refunded. I sent them emails regarding this but they replied back giving excuses for few more days. Then I called the below mentioned numbers on several occasions [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] This is really Frustrating and Irritating that a Reputed company like Makemytrip indulges in such delays, I tried contacting them most of which were not answered, some get disconnected midway and some keep asking Extension Number, where is the extension number, I couldn't find it in their website, the Automated voice doesn't provide the option for speaking to Cust. Care, how is one to contact the concerned then??? Then on 19th March when I was contacting the Cust. Care, I opted for new International Booking which was Miraculously Attended to and I was surprised and they again gave a False Reassurance that I will get the Refund in 72 Hours, however that didn't happen. I was supposed to be refunded in Dec 2014 and now it is end of March 2015, I wonder what wrong have I done to them? Jai Singh Content Editor

    "Too Late and Too Less

    Summary of my Harassment at the Hands of MakeMytrip.com


    1. First,
    I was assured of Refund in 4 days, irrespective of the penalties that were laid. I agreed telephonically to the Penalty. But unfortunately the Refund didn’t happen for almost 4 Months

    2. Second,
    your Online System of Complaint is Totally Useless, it is a Big Joke. You keep logging again and again...and then you get the Most False Assurance that your issue will be resolved in 48 Hrs or 72 Hrs.

    3. Third,
    Your System of Escalation is once again, a Method to keep the Clients Busy in Anticipation that their Complaint will be now taken seriously, it appears to be Pre-Planned Strategy where the Complain is not handled directly and even if the so called “Escalation Process” is just an Eye Wash, perhaps because you “You want to buy some time”

    4. Fourth,
    your Customer Care System is no less, in fact it takes your “For Granted”, You keep Dialling the numbers one after the another, only to get your Call Disconnected after the Automated Voice tells you to “Dial the Extension Number” when you select the Cancelling of Flight Option. There is no option of Refund and the only way you can get to talk with an Online Representative if you have to Book a Flight or know about a Holiday Package.

    5. Fifthly,
    even if you get to address your issue with a Customer Care Personnel, your call is passed on to Another Executive. And this Executive would then keep you on hold only to be disconnected from the Call or he would give you a False Assurance that your Complaint is being Processed.

    6. Sixthly,
    after getting so many Consecutive False Assurances, one looses faith in Online Ticketing System, yours being a Glaring Example.

    7. Seventhly,
    you send False SMS’s of Partial Refund wherein the Refund has not even been initiated, so why are you sending the SMS, when the money has not been transferred. This and others only show you as Hard Core Liars.

    8. Eighthly,
    “If the Airline didn’t refund you in time, is that my Fault”, “Did I delayed in paying you for Booking the Tickets and brought up any Technical Issues?”. “You people don’t have Funds of your own?? That shows how seriously you take your Clients.

    9. Ninthly,
    when you raise your voice in social media, one of your Executive calls up and says “Do you have a Written Proof of the Refund Amount”, so now I should keep proof of each and every Calls that have been made, MY, MY!!!” Is this what I deserve?

    After going through Consistent Harassment's from your Side, don’t I deserve the Full Refund Amount or you will still show me the Terms and Conditions and again apologise that though you can break your Protocols when it comes to Clients Money but not the other way around???????

      21.03.2015 To Make My Trip Chennai Res Sir / Mam Sub: Complain cum Claim Letter Against Booking ID: IN1501B7S057268 in the name of Adarsh Todi Horrible experience I, AdarshTodi, Booked a holiday trip to Sikkim with Make My Trip (Booking ID: IN1501B7S057268), Chennai office through Mr Abhishek Damani ([protected]) and Ms Nikita Kapoor ([protected]) and they were in charge of our trip. Having previously availed the services of Make my trip on two previous occasions which were very much planned and organised, I was confident that even this holiday to Sikkim would also be hassle-free and convenient. But it was the other way around. Both the parties involved, one Makemytrip, Chennai and other Club Side Travel Agency in Sikkim were most irresponsible and unprofessional this time. We were taken very lightly after knowing that we are regular customers of makemytrip, and Ms Nikita kapoor had taken no pain to plan the trip and check on the counterparts with any kind of confirmations. Every instance, the contract was breached either by Make My Trip or by their local Sikkim counterparts. Point wise detail of breach of contract:- 1) Irresponsible & Unprofessional behaviour post booking by MakeMyTrip officer Mr Abhishek Damani & Ms Nikita Kapoor – Details in Annexure I 2) Breach in Land contract – Details in Annexure II 3) Intentionally skipped one of the Sight Seeing – Gurudongmar Lake (Lachen) – Details inAnnexure III 4) Fake Hotel Booking Voucher for two place (Gangtok – Hotel Summit Ttakshang Residency & Lachen – The Apple Orchard Resort) – Details in Annexure IV 5) Leisure Trip to Tension Trip by Make My Trip Group This Holiday has made us very sure and confirmed mind set of NO MORE MAKEMYTRIP FOR ANYTHING AND ADVICE PEOPLE TO STOP GIVING BUSINESS TO MAKEMYTRIP. Because of all above, I want to claim back my booking amount with other few charges paid by me to Mr Pradeep on behalf of make My Trip. The Claim Amount is as under 1. Booking cost Rs 84000.00 2.Mr Pradeeps Reimburses Rs 700.00 3.Mental agony and harassment Rs 50000.00 Rs 134700.00 Thanks For spoiling my leisure trip to harassment trip. I will make sure I put a case in consumer forums, consumer court, and social media about the type of services provided by MAKEMYTRIP. [protected]@core.nic.in, 20. director.[protected]@gmail.com Annexure I Irresponsible & Unprofessional behaviour post booking by MakeMyTrip officer Mr Abhishek Damani & Ms Nikita Kapoor On confirmation of booking on 22/01/2015 via E Mail to Ms Nikita Kapoor, there was no action from Make My Trip for my Booking till 04/02/2015 and this forced me to write an Email on this for my Booking ID no and details for making payments. But again this try went in vain and the last option left was to make a call to toll free number of Make My Trip on this issue. This call escalated the issue and made bells ringing in ears of Ms Nikita Kapoor to act on my bookings. This doesn’t end here, my mobile number were wrongly entered by Ms Nikita, which again resulted in confusion. Such a irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour is least expected from make my trip team. Annexure II Breach in Land contract As per the contract/Booking, Make My Trip were supposed to allot one Tata Sumo Vehicle for all 10 days of my trip but the worst was waiting for me to know that, all 10 days I had to start my day by breaking my head with Mr Pradeep (Make My Trip coordinator in Sikkim) for Land transport. Every single day we were allotted different vehicle with variety of Drivers to handle with. Below are the day wise details of torture borne by me due to Mr Pradeep/Ms Nikita on Land Transport a) Two days before travelling I am getting a call from an unknown number stating I am Mr pradeep and I will be your tour coordinate from now and I am at siliguri to help you, i was happy for the call but never knew will he be really helpful? b) Day 1 On 8 th morning I get a message from Mr pradeep “Driver:Bijay [protected] he will be receiving you in bagdogara airport and will take you to gangtok, when I reached bagdogara I got a call from mrBijay I am not coming, one of my friend will call u and assist you further, now Best part I am waiting for a call from unknown name and number! Should I rely on him? c) After waiting ½ an hour I get a call, hetakes me to a taxi and introduces me to one new driver and tells me he will take u to gangtok. Day is over and waiting for Mr pradeep’s call for next day plans and details. Waiting for call never ends! We called Pradeep for next day’s plan he explains that vehicle will reach your hotel by 8:30 am but the details will be given only by 8:00 am in the morning. d) Day 2 starts with waiting again for the message to go and follow which particular driver or the number, after waiting for an hour 8:30 am to 9:30 am I call pradeep again but no response and again call after 5 min he picked this time, told and messaged us to come to “Vajra stand for north Sikkim Vehicle No. MAXX0962 driver Mobile [protected]” My question was “I was told by Ms nikita all pick up and drops will be at the Hotel taken, then why was I asked to come to vajra taxi stand?” When contact Mr Abishek damani Chennai office about the same he told me he will check and come back and I get a call from Mr pradeep that pls sir adjust the amount will be reimbursed to us, as the allotted vehicle has no permission to come in the city limits. We agreed and we went to the taxi stand. The vehicle details and the driver details given were wrong and it was a complete mess. Then I was told to wait and in ½ an hour another vehicle was arranged. ” when my plans and Booking were final ahead of a month why this type of commotions should a tourist take? Why was I asked to adjust? Why was vehicles and permissions not checked before tourist visit. I have not received the reimbursed amount which was promised by Mr Pradeep. e) After all this commotions and hectic traveling reached lachen, my Itinerary states “chopta valley, gurudongmar lake –lachung”but at the army checking point I come to know that the travel agent has not taken permission to go to gurudongmar lake, the permission is taken only for lachen town. Why? Did I not pay or the itinerary doesn’t states that? Why was I not informed before leaving from gangtok about this by your so called coordinates? Due to this we missed our sightseeing of Gurudongmar Lake when contacted Mr pradeep he is even unaware of this. He told me he will check and come back. I got a call from him stating army was not giving permission for the said sightseeing for the particular day. What a others from the same hotel has permission to visit the gurudongmar lake but we don’t as we were special case of not getting permissions. f) Day 3 as we had no choice other than to stay in hotel because we had no permissions to go to gurudongmar lake but others from the hotel went till the extent to chopta valley and came back. “WILL MAKEMYTRIP PAY FOR MY MENTAL AGONY WHICH WE WENT THROUGH” g) Day 4 we complete the day with no hassles but again while coming back to gangtok we were left on road to catch a taxi for the hotel drop which was promised by Mr pradeep will be reimbursed, but still waiting for reimbursement to happen. h) Day 5 Mr pradeep promised this time that a vehicle will pick us from Hotel and our further trip is going to be a hassle free, we were joyful and happy but that never happened. Mr pradeep told us to get ready by 7:30 am sharp as vehicle will come to pick me up or else we will be late for our excursion to baba mandir and tsomgo lake. As told by pradeep we were ready waiting, waiting, waiting, never ending waiting in a leisure trip and calling pradeep and pradeep not picking calls, frustrated us further. And then 9:00 am I get a message from pradeep “ vehicle – 0427 Xylo will come for tsomgo lake”. Now waiting for the vehicle starts with no Number of the driver to be contacted. Vehicle comes by 9:30 am! “OUR WAIT TIME FROM 7:30 AM TO 9:30 AM FOR NO COST ON A LESUIRE TRIP” Every single day in Sikkim was a new driver and car and the numbers given to us never matched. The details were always wrong. For Tsongmo lake in Gangtok we were made to wait for more than two hour and when questioned, the driver’s and Mr Pradeep’s stories varied. When contacted Ms Nikita Chennai “we are helpless sir let me check and come back”. But Mr Pradeep doesn’t Picks calls of the MMT employees too. Shame on Makemytrip, they keep unprofessional partner and coordinators who don’t respond to their duties when needed. i) Day 6 we were told by Ms Nikita Kapoor Chennai that we will be having TATA Sumo vehicle for the entire trip but on Day 6 after a long wait and calls from and to pradeep we get a message by 8:31 am “Vehicle no.3032 will come at 9:00am for gtk sightseeing” we were told to get ready by 8:00 am but the message received by 8:31 am for 9:00 am! Is this is the way? The vehicle sent was maruti 800 but PROMISED TATA SUMO. This vehicle was only for the sightseeing but what abt the counterpart to Pelling no Information about the same….again wait and call callcall repeatedly to Mr Pradeep for more Info. Then I was informed by Pradeep a Xylo will pick up us on our desired time from the hotel to Pelling. A calls comes by 12:00 I am a new driver who will take u to Pelling where should I come to pick you, we were shocked to see this kind of attitude. The driver is asking us the details of the hotel from where we have to picked up!!! MY WIFE ASKED ME “WHY MAKE MY TRIP!!!” j) Day 7 in pelling another horrible day, vehicle sent for sightseeing without any information Mahindra Maxx 16 seater local taxi vehicle with all indecent looks and smell. Now at this point I was very clear that I have to take some serious actions on Mr Pradeep as he was not picking any calls and not responding to messages too, so I called Nikita and got a new Number [protected]. I don’t remember the name of the guy I spoke to, I told him very clearly if this is going to the future vehicle then I will break my trip from here on my own, but he assured me of no more hassles in the balance trip. But there was no break to the problems. MAKEMYTRIP HAS LOST ALL ITS STANDARDS AND ETHICS BY NOT LISTENNING TO THE GRIVANCSES OF THE CUSTOMER AFTER GETTING FULL AND FINAL TOUR AMOUNT. k) DAY 8 was Picked Up from hotel in a good vehicle TATA SUMO to Darjeeling. Now waiting for more Info on day 9 plans and details of driver, again call pradeep “WAS IT A LESIURE TRIP” A tourist calling the tour coordinator for everything, why is he there then? When he has no Info about anything... Then I got a message from pradeep after continuous calls “Vehicle 3715 driver lalit [protected]” on day 9 we have to plan for Tiger hill and had to get Up early by 4:00 am so this time I want to be sure about the wait time, I called the driver on day 8 itself but the answer I got from the other end wrong Number pls call the right number. I was like!!!@@##. Calling pradeep again, in the meantimeI got a call from unknown number and name, “ sir I will be coming tomorrow morning pls be ready by 4:00 am I am mr lalit`s driver.” Every single day in this trip was a new driver and car and the numbers given to us never matched. The details were always wrong. WHEN WE HAD A CUSTOMISED PACKAGE TRIP WHY WE WERE NOT ASSIGNED ONE SINGLR VEHICLE FOR THE TRIP? l) Day 9 had no hassles this time with good vehicle and the driver too. Vehicle provided was TAVERA, pradeep called himself and told the same driver will continue tomorrow also for airport drop. So no change in number and the vehicle too.But we get a call from a Unknown number stating I am Mr Lalit`s friend and was told to pick and drop to airport as the driver no feeling well, I agreed. I saved the number who called me this time and told him to come by 7:30am m) DAY 10 Last day my mental agony doesn’t ends here. The driver who called me as MrLalit’s friend never picked the call after that. Again call pradeep for the solution but Mr pradeep same as before never picks the call, I got a call by 8:00am stating I am coming for airport drop and I am on my way to hotel now this new driver turns up by 8:45 am. And states a new story. ARE WE HERE TO HEAR ALL STORIES FROM ALL DIFFERENT MOUTH PIECES? Annexure IV Fake Hotel Booking Voucher for two place (Gangtok – Hotel Summit Ttakshang Residency & Lachen – The Apple Orchard Resort) Nothing more worst than this can be done by MakeMyTrip team, by handing over fake Hotel vouchers. This was the biggest shock to me when we came to know that, at two places one at Hotel Sumit Ttakshang Residency (Gangtok) & other at Hotel Apple Orchard (Lachen), Make my trip have not confirmed our booking and still they have handed over the vouches to me. The detailed report is as under:- 1. First day at Gangtok we were told there isn’t a booking for us in the hotel Summit Ttakshang residency but were given a room as we were carrying the hotel vouchers. 2. DAY 2 when we reached the hotel Apple orchid in Lachen by 5:00 pm we were given room to stay but when we came down for dinner we were called by the manager and told by him stating we have to pay for the hotel room charges as they have not received the amount from Makemytrip and they have no booking from them, and I also spoke the owner of the hotel regarding the same. She told me that as there is availability of rooms in the hotels she is providing the stay or else she might have denied admission too, She confirmed that there was an enquiry but no confirmation mail or the payment details from Ms Nikita make my trip Chennai or the club side MMT partner. After long confusions and confirmations from and through Mr abishek damani things were sorted out in 1 ½ hour. “Do tourists have to undergo this type of agony after paying for the leisure trip”?         Hi I booked Jet Airways ticket in January 2015 for Bangalore-Delhi route . I cancelled the tickte online using Makemytrip.com in January 2015 itself . I am trying for refund of money from Makemytrip, but they have not refunded the money for last 2 months except providing lip-service and sending emails that we are working on the same . It is a fraud company and cheating gullible customers and sub-standard website . My booking ID NF[protected]. Please refund my money ASAP . Thanks Yogesh Kumar

          Hi, I had booked a hotel reservation on my way to hyderabad. It's my first time in the city. Since i m travelling on a tight budget, I had booked a moderately inexpensive hotel through the app, for Four days. unfortunately the app crashed, leaving me without the money, because the money was deducted from my account to makemytrip... And I didn't get a booking confirmation. I called up customer care and they initiated a refund that will take seven days... Instead of booking the hotel for me. So here I am, stranded in a new city...moneyless and accommodation less. I tried to appeal to their humanitarian side. Nothing helped. Makemytrip. U guys suck. I am going to be lodging a consumer complaint as soon as I get myself out of this mess. Please don't mess with mango people.

            Hi, myself amit Joshi, my booking id is nf[protected]. I cancelled my booking almost 2.5 mnths back still not got my refund amount. Called almost 20 times to ccare, but they always say wait for seven days, now i lodge a complaint to your refund tracker team on 11th march 2015 to get my RRN no so that I can go to the back to check my refund status. LAST TIME I REQUESTED YOUR ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT TO LOOK INTO THE SAME BUT STILL NO LUCK. Now i am fed up of all these silly and request to wait for seven days, please refund my amount or else i will go to consumer court.

              Numerous calls, hours of wait on phone calls, several mails and plenty of assurances. That's the story about my refund of INR 15000 by make my trip. Even after a month my money has not been refunded and instead I was given several 10-15 digits meaningless codes to remember in case I call them next time. Still not got any refund and even if the request is escalated to the third level, no response from the SO CALLED INDIA's NO. 1 travel company. #cheaters #hooligans #unreliable #bewareofmakemytrip

                Makemytrip booking id -nf[protected] total amount paid : rs. 9098 paid. I received the confirmation mail & sms. But in my makemytrip account its showing 2962 only.

                Next day i cancelled the tkt and i received the refund amt 2226 only in my wallet. So many times irequested to pay the balance amount thru phone/mail but not yet taken any single action against my request. (Details attached for your ref) note; already raised the complaint[protected] &[protected].

                Last 10 days i am frequently calling 3 times / day. Most of the time they are intetionally disconnected the call after long conversations. Few times they kept the calls on hold more than half an hour. So pls take necessary action and help & save all the customers like me.

                    I made a flight booking on 18th march E-Ticket MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NF[protected] On therir website they are displaying the code MMTFLY350 which actually cashbacks 350 rs in your account. I used it and when i asked abt the cashback they said the offer was for jan 2015 only. A) if this is the case it should not have displayed on web . I could have used any other operator. b) i talked to the customer care and they agreed that it may be a technical error on website.. but actually it is fraud compigning

                      Hi, My booking ID is IN1410B4S102836 and I have taken a Thailand tour from MakeMyTrip in January 2015 (11th Jan - 15th Jan - Tour name Thailand 05 nights and 06 day). During the said trip my Full day tour of Pattaya Coral Island for 3 (inclusive of pick-drop from hotel, ferry @ Island, lunch for 3 with Glass bottom boat ride) has been cancelled at just at pickup time of the said tour.

                      Thereafter, I have arranged the said tour on my own as at an international destination one day's loss is very huge. After completion of the said trip once I have reached back I have requested for the refund of the said cancellation with MakeMyTrip. Later, for the said cancellation I have been offered for TBH 300 (INR 600/-) for a day long tour which is nowhere relevant. The actual cost of that day long tour is somewhere around TBH 2500 (INR 5000). I have asked for the justification and requested for reasonable refund since I have lost my half day as well and arranged a falf day's same tour on my own at an International destination. Even after repeated reminder I haven't received any reply from the team which was responsible for my tour. I have also asked for the escalation matrix to discuss the same with higher authorities of MakeMTrip but unfortunately no response has been received so far.

                          I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Delhi return of 13th Feb from makemytrip. my booking id is ­NF[protected]. but due to delay air india did not allow us to board in the flight.we were 12 passengers, so cancel my tckt i call to makemytrip and they told me to call air india.after calling them they told me that they cancelled my tckt from there end but amount will be refung by makemytrip. no self response i got from makemytrip so i call them on 3rd march then they told me that i have to cancel that tckt from there site also. So i did the process and they told me it will take 7 working days to refund but when its more then 10 days i chkd my account on 15th march i got the same status after calling them they told me now i have to submit the hard copy of cancelled tckt. if i did not call them they did not call me ever i think. and as on today date same status is reflecting on there website that your request is under process. What should i do now ? they never call me never mailed me the status until unless i called them and no positive response from their side as normally they called me when my transaction failed.

                              I have booked a ticket through make my trip website and I cancelled a day before the journey date(100115 and Booking ID NF[protected]. After writing many complaints and creating too many auto ids, I received Rs5113 as refund. But as per cancellation status the refund should be Rs13742. Also Makemytrip is very clever of asking stamped document from airlines which is not in practice and after delaying 2-3 months they will credit 1/3 amount as refund without any receipt, so that customers will stop asking refund and at the same time they will think whatever credited is enough. This is one kind of intelligent business where they earning and sucking blood of customers.

My flight is cancelled (9w-556), I check with jet airways but flight is not cancelled. Then again I called to customer care then he is telling that by ticket is cancelled by jet airways. Every time they are telling new stories.i don't know what's happening there.please help me I want to fly on 20 th March

                                    My issue involves 2 booking IDs: NF[protected] and NF[protected]. The issue is regarding refund for SpiceJet flight from Cochin to New Delhi on Jan 6th, 2015. The flight was cancelled by SpiceJet on December 25th, 2014. Till now, almost 3 months, I have not received the refund and have got very poor customer service on every correspondence via email or telephone. Numerous excuses and lies have been told to me, which include that MakeMyTrip has not received the refund amount from Spicejet, MakeMyTrip does not know the bank account to which the refund amount is to be submitted, my supervisor requests have been denied by telephone agents, and if I got lucky to get a supervisor he makes empty promises. Following are the few details of the case that show the poor customer service I got from MakeMyTrip: 1) SpiceJet send the refund amount for both the booking IDs to MakeMyTrip on Jan 13th, 2015. I got the email confirmation of the transaction from SpiceJet 2) Rahul Jain (Rahul.[protected]@makemytrip.com) contacted me on Jan 25th to get detail of bank account to which the refund is to be deposited. I mail him the detail on Jan 25th and 29th but did not get any reply. On Jan 29th, my query is assigned a reference ID:[protected]. 3) On Feb 15th, Meena Rai lies to me that MakeMyTrip has not got the refund from SpiceJet and therefore I need to wait. I contacted SpiceJet and got the email confirmation mentioned in point no. 1. I send it to Meena Rai and she escalates my query to accounts dept for validation. However, nothing was resolved after weeks. In the meantime, I was contacted by Nikita Aswani and Nishant Paghadar, who gave me additional excuses and asked for more time to resolve the case 4) I contact customer service over the phone on March 2nd and spoke with a supervisor, Tanuj Roy Chowdhury. He told me that he will resolve this issue in 4 days. However, nothing happened. 5) I called customer service again on March 10th to talk with Tanuj, but I was told that by one agent that as per the policy he cannot transfer my call to supervisor, second agent told me that Tanuj is absent, third agent disconnected my call after putting me on hold to check with his supervisor (this has happened many times, so I am sure my calls were disconnected purposefully). Finally, I spoke with a supervisor, Harish Agrawal (Harish.[protected]@makemytrip.com). Harish told me that he will resolve this issue in 2 days. Harish emailed me after 2 days asking for details of bank account to which the refund is to be deposited (I had already given this detail on Jan 25th and this detail should have been on MakeMyTrip file when I booked the flight). I provided him the bank detail and he replied that the issue is being worked on and I should wait. I contacted him yesterday and have not heard back from him yet. 6) I called 3 agents today to speak with either Harish Agrawal or Tanuj Roy Chowdhury, but first two agents told me that neither of them are on the floor and rest of the supervisors on the floor are busy and cannot speak . The third agent put my call on hold to get his supervisor and the call disconnected, which has happened so many times when I insist to speak with a supervisor. Above are evidences of extremely bad service by MakeMyTrip to its customers. Nobody sincerely tried to resolve the issue, except sincerely making excuses and lying.
