I had ordered from their website a nose pin for my mom on 7 th november. Requesting it's her birthday gift and pls try to deliver on 8 th. I got a late email from this lady roanna dias, who was only sending me emails about my product status. I understand they waned to verify my details mentioned on their website, but even after that, i even provided my landline number and told them to deliver fast, requested it's a birthday gift. But no use. They take the longest time ever to deliver one small nose pin. Now it's been 11 days today on 16th november, still there is no address of my product and this roanna just is good at putting these professional emails without finding a solution. If i would have not needed it that urgently i would have somehow managed to go purchase from a jewellery shop. Thank god.. That i did not do an online payment. I opted for cod. These guys are completely unprofessional and don't listen to their customers requirements. Horrible customer service horrible website. Now if the product gets delivered, i'll share a pic of that.. Let's see how good it is.

    I've bought a diamond ring from malabar gold but within one month one of the diamonds came off spoiling the entire look of the ring.. While taking the ring to the showroom i was given a free repair but i had to pay for the diamond.. Its not even a month now that another diamond came off.. It's annoying how every time a diamond comes off.. High making charges are fixed on an small article while their making is not strong enough to hold a lil diamond.. Shame!
    Same with the chain.. It broke and was fixed for free however another end of the chain is bent now and i'm afraid it will come off soon too..
    Highly dissatisfied with the diamond and it's accessories..
    Sir I visit your branch Hubli u Mahal Malabar gold jewelry shop exchange our diamond but no response your shop workrs and manager I waited one hour your workrs response. So bad please repaired this nature.

      I purchased a gold chain on 14 feb 2016 for my dear wife as a gift on valentine day. The chain weighed 8 gm and costed inr 27, 230.40. After gifting my wife when she wore, the hook came off and she lost a pendant that she had additionally attached to the chain. After that, the chain developed cracks which made it very delicate and an indication of being broken any time. She stopped wearing it. Today on 23 july i went to return it as i was unable to find time since i was travelling on and out of bengaluru. I was disappointed with staff as they simply tried blaming us and accusing us of tampering the chain. The condition to exchange was reducing the making charges of inr 3, 500 which as not acceptable to me as the product sold itself was defective. On top the staff did not had any one to manage customer complains, could not communicate or understand the english language neither hindi. The sales manager seemed clueless to handle such issues.

        On 28th feb i went to purchace a chain from malabar gold branch in lulu mall...one lady came and ask me to sit...i got a seat and wait for long time..but no salesman approach me ...After waiting for long time, i went out...I dnt think this was a good approach to customer...In any way all customers are valuable to such firm...please consider my complaint..Do the needful...

          SUB: RETURN OF DIAMOND NECKLACE

          I bought a Diamond Necklace for my newly wedded Bride last year in Feb 2015-it was from your mine (Diamonds unlimited) collection in Dilusukhnagar Branch, Hyderabad, India.

          Soon after the wedding day the ear ring broke (it was used only once)- we ended up coming back to the store following month and got it fixed.

          Now my wife is petrified to wear the Necklace thinking it might break again- hence we decided to return the Necklace and visited the store on 25/01/2016- My Parents took the necklace to the store as i live in England.

          I was Baffled to know that the store will deduct Rs 1, 250 per gram!! of gold ( say a gram of gold is worth Rs2, 500- you want to deduct Rs1, 250 per gram??- which is 50% deduction) this is outrageous (day light robbery) i feel conned.

          i did check your online return policy and it says 99% value back (Screen shot below)

          I communicated with the online chat help (a Lady named Sunita, based in Mumbai) i have the whole conversation saved. Although she tried to help me by calling my father, it didn't solve my problem. she was not of much help as she said the online policy may differ from that of the store policy-

          I was told by the Store people that i will have to loose almost Rs 50, 000 on a necklace worth Rs 1, 85, 000-This is Barbaric!!- I NEED SOMEONE FROM MALABAR TO CONTACT ME AND HELP ME IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE.

            Hi Sir/Madam
            I visited with my Mom to the Malabar Gold, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu branch on 8/11/2015. We entered the shop and waited for a very long time to get a seat. It was crowded. So its understandable. Then we got a seat. Nobody approached us for more than half an hour. We were getting restless asked a sales man nearby, whether anyone will come for us. He said, wait some one will definitely come for us. So we waited. We must have asked every salesman so many times, all he did was assuring he will send some one.. We could see some salesmen attending people who came after us. A salesman started to attend people standing behind us. I was so annoyed, asked him, can't u see us.. It's been more than one and a half hours, we sat there like we had no other job to do. He said, if you come to a jewelry, it will be like this. Come on. Don't they have any value for people's time? I am very unhappy with their customer service. We will never be stepping into their shop again because they treated us like we are not welcome there.

            signal issue

            3g signal is not available in my shop. which is really a sad issue for me. i try to complaint this issue many times with airtel customer care but still didnt get a satisfayable answer yet. This forcce me to change my connection.

            I have bought few items from the above mentioned jewellery which is in Palakkad kerala. I have never seen this horrible service anywhere.I wanted to exchange an item what I have bought before day. The way the sales men treated us was very bad. The moment they got to know it was an exchange they were saying wait now.. Will arrange a person to show things and I have been waiting for more than 2 hours there just to see few more items to exchange as there is no return policy(as they said). Finally had to leave from there with the same product.I just want to tell you that if it's exchange or new purchase it our money .. So it's your duty to take care of customers complaints.. Horrible experience and will never do any purchase from Malabar gold.
            We purchased a earring from malabar gold rolla branch on 2nd november 2018. While taking delivery the salesman told on 5th thay have their 25th anniversary and as it is diwali they are giving gifts to the customers on this occassion and insisted to take the delibery on 5th.
            We accepted it and when went to collect the earring they handed over a keychain with their logo on that which we felt insulted and dented our self respect. Shameful gesture which we never expect from a jewellery like malabar gold. ###

              Recently all are aware the over billed issue from one Facebook post . I am also a victim for the same.I had purchased one ring 3 month before from Riyadh, Batha its wgt is 2.25 gm they billed me more than 500sr . I will produce copy of invoice for proof if you need.You can get full details of my purchase from your accounting system using my mobile number and name i think. Now i would like to get my cash back which is over billed.

                I had purchased 18K gold chain for a light weight diamond pendant from Malabar Gold showroom in Gold Souk Mall Gurgaon on 30/08/2014. The weight of the chain was 3.67 grams. At the time of purchase the salesperson had mentioned that since the chain is in 18k gold, it will be more reliable and last long. After wearing it on few occasions I noticed that the chain had started breaking from 2 points. When I went to Malabar Gold Showroom with my problem on 15/03/2015, they clearly told that they cannot do anything about it. The repair of the chain was not possible as it is machine made and will bend on repairing. All they could offer was to exchange the chain for a new on after cutting making charges or take a cash back at the current rate which was Rs190 per gram less from the purchase rate. On enquiring that for a poor quality product why should the consumer suffer, the salesperson as well as store manager said that it is the company policy. Only for exchanges within 7 days of purchase they do not cut making charges but the price of gold is taken on as of date. Their own salesperson now said that such 18k chains break easily...Then why the hell sell such product !!!. Also in 7 days gold ornament may be used once or twice and the consumer will never come to know about any defect. This is an unethical practice by the company that they are harassing and cheating consumers for poor quality ornaments. How can the chain start to break only after few uses? I tried to reason with them that cutting making charges makes no sense when the product itself is bad. But they would not listen. On the contrary the salesboy started saying that we broke the chain ourselves. This is pure harassment and cheating by Malabar Gold. As the situation was not resolving, I had to agree for cash return and suffer a loss of Rs 3200 from the original bill aw well as mental harassment. My sincere request to create awareness about such unethical practice of selling poor quality ornament by Malabar Gold and then earning money out of it.
                I, Dr Deepthi working in Delhi, went to South ex showroom for repairing a gold chain of my husband which was broken last day with regular use (cutting chain which was brought on October 2020) .

                While the salesman at South ex showroom himself checked he could find 2 or 3 sites of broken points and told needs soldering at multiple points. At that time I asked what kind of quality assurance Malabar gold is giving the manager at South ex told me gold is a metal so it will break with normal use.

                If a gold chain which was brought just one year back if it can have so much wear and tear in one year of regular use and your employee himself saying your gold can be easily broken then better Malabar gold ought to do something.

                Unfortunately I have a scheme at Malabar gold which was opened on July 2021, I would like to close the scheme and get the refund as soon as possible before the stipulated period because am not interested in investing where breakable and poor quality items are sold.

                  I bought 16 Gm gold from Malabar gold, Tvm today. They charged me 16% making charge for ankel which is too much for a simple desin I bought. When I asked them to reduce possible making charge as part of negogiation, the manager shouted at me. Finally, the reduced 100 rs for a 5200/- making charge. I dont recommend Malabar Glod in Trivandrum.

                    My order number with SHOPMGD is[protected]. I purchased a bangle from this online store of Malabar Golds and Diamonds. But the bangle was smaller in size. They said they will manufacture a bigger bangle of size specified by me. They asked me to return the bangle to any Malabar showroom in Bangalore. I returned the product to Malabar showroom in Koramangala and informed the same to SHOPMGD. It's already more than a week and they are not answering my calls and emails. They are not shipping the new manufactured bangle. So, I want to registed a complaint against them.

                      My father in law purchased gold bangles from Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Saudi Arabia on 30th Nov'13. At the time of purchase, sales man Mr. Thosif told that we can exchange the ornaments at any of their branch in India within 15 days without paying a single rupee for the same weight. So he bought bangles as per his assurance.

                      But unfortunately those were large for me to wear. For exchanging the bangles we went to Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Chennai branch on 14th Dec'13 (15th day of purchase). The salesman and MD told that we can only purchase new gold(same weight) by paying additinal wastage, currency conversions, new gold rate change. But at the time of purchasing they didn even mention any of these conditions. So we believed them and bought. Now we had to pay 5000rs for new bangles. If the Soudi salesman inform us all those problems at that time, sure i'll not allow my father to buy gold from there.

                      We never knew that they are such a fraud company. To cover up their mistake they told this was a communication gap of salesman. For their communication gap i paid 5000rs!!! After closing the issue they asking "do you want tea? or water?" Who wants their tea??? They need only customers money. Cheaters & Beggers!!!

                      They must change their slogan to "Celebrate the worst moments with Malabar Gold and Diamonds".
