I am Prof.S.Kalainathan, VIT University Vellore. My Alto car number is TN 23 AA 3197. I gave my car to Ganesh cars for service on 8.10.10. I have informed the service people what are the parts to be serviced including very small parts of cost even Rs.4.00 also. At that time the side mirror was in good condition. Today (10.10.10) I have taken the car from the service centre and found that the side mirror frame was damaged. During the delivery time Mr.Ramesh (customer care) also with me and he also noticed the damage and promised me to solve the problem. Later I contacted the car service in charge through mobile ( [protected]. But the response was not good. But he is telling that the damage happened before giving the car to service. But it is not true. Through mobile the service person explained me about the service and what are the parts going to be changed while the car was in the service centre. But, he did not tell anything about the damage of side mirror.

I have purchased the in 2004. So far I have given the car for service many times to Ganesh car. It is the first time I am not happly with the service and facing the problem Kindly do the needful.

    Sub; Brake Problem for Swift Dezire VDi- regarding

    Sir;
    I’m a proud owner of MARUTI SUZUKI ‘SWIFT DEZIRE vdi’. I have bought my car recently from A.M.Motors,Malappuram,Kerala. I was quite satisfied with my new car. I finished 1st service also at the right time.
    My happiness didn’t last for a longer period. Recently, after 1500km, I had a very bitter experience on the road. When I was traveling in a highway I met with an accident. I was traveling in a speed of 60-70 km/hr. four people were there in the car. The road was clear and empty. There was no problem for the visibility also. But I was not able to stop my car. I had a braking distance of 45 meter or more. It was not just stopping even after applying the brake. Car was totally out of control and it just went and smashed with the other vehicle. My car got damaged so badly and lots of psychological trauma for me and for my family too. Thanks to the Maruti for the damages in my car and trauma to me.
    It gave me lots of sleepless night. I was just thinking if it had happened to a small kid or a pedestrian instead of the other vehicle.
    I was not able to understand what happened to my new Dezire. Because its not a simple normal accident which happened because of carelessness. I could see the road and the other vehicle and I was trying to stop the vehicle. I was not alcoholic also. But without stopping, the car went and hit the other vehicle.
    I know that there is a loss of control in electronic power steering, but I was not traveling in such a high speed. I shared my experience with my friends and colleagues. It was surprising that I got the same feed back from the other people too. That is they all are complaining of loss of control for Maruti Dezire sometimes. And they had the same experience also. So I just wanted to inform the MARUTI authority about the DANGEROUS condition. And I don’t know if I should go ahead with the legal procedures for the company’s product defect. So I kindly request you a proper technical explanation for the same. (I do feel so safe in using my Maruti 800 than my new Swift Dezire, because of this brake defect.)
    As a doctor, honestly I want to tell you that its a matter of life, nothing else. So I Hope you will do the needful and get me a reply.

    I do have the same problem with my Dezire VDI and met with an accident in same condition.I also felt a lose of control with the increase in speed.The break defect is a serious problem...

      Sir,
      I am the owner of the vehicle mentioned in the refernce and i have purchased it on 11.03.2010
      from the dealer named in the subject.

      The bike has shown some fault on the back break during the fourth service period and i have
      consulted this matter with the said dealer on 30.07.2010.They have replaced the BreakLiner on the
      same date by the mode of paid service.After one week of the replacement,the same fault has shown and
      i have visited the dealer again.By this time they told me that the Back Hub has faulted and the officials
      assured me that they will make replacement of the affected part at the earliest.But till date they
      haven’t make any corrective measure for the last two months.During these days I was forced to use the
      bike without sufficient break and now it is in a condition that unable to use

      At present they are telling that they didnot have any fault on their side and also arguing that it is
      the only fault of the company,which has not been sent the mentioned spare part them and that is why
      they are unable to replace it . I am sending this letter to know me about the reply which i got from the
      dealer is true or not.

      I have lost much time and money for getting the corrective measure from the dealer.So if ther is no corrective measure from
      the responsible side again,then the only way infront of me is to file a case at consumer court and publishing the same matter in a
      daily editiong at the earliest.

      Hope that you will take necessary action in this regard and kindly reply me soon.

      Suzuki India — regarding delivery of vehicle

      This is Aashish k Charkha from nashik, actually i ve booked suzuki access 125 at your dealer M/S Kapadia Auto Nashik on 10th june2010 with the committment of getting the delivery within 3 months. already the time is lapsed and also with continuos fall up for the vehicle they are giving me the answer for the delivery of vehicles in the month of november now. i have contacted the company persons but even thay are not ready to come up with the issue. here the vehicle is available immediately if 4000/- extra amount is paid. this is really cheating and fradulent act which the dealer and the company is performing , hence in future we suggest one should think twice before booking the suzuki motorcycle. i want you to look into this matter at the earliest.
      It Happens with most of the dealers, as long as we buy the bike or car they will talk very nice. if there is some issue then the will become totally reverse. we (customer ) do not have enough awareness and time to fight against those kind of _______ fellows. there are two solutions.
      1) they should change themselves to be honest.
      2) We should get united and fight against them through formal govt body.

      I think (1) will never happen. hence (2) is the only solution, come lets get united, share the knowledge, help each other and fight for freedom form those problems.

      please update the contact number, mail id, documents related to these issue. let me also try.
      However we need to talk to the motorcycle company persons to take these problems to their knowledge. Most of the times the company persons would be good enough to give proper support. we need to find the address or contact mail id of these persons.

      of course there are good service centers here and there. Please some one post about the service center address which does good job. so that we will go there. naturally after a while those fellows shut the door or should change to be honest.

      Most of the company not giving the contact numbers or mail id. I request them to add the mail Id for sending these kind of complaints. so that the company can take some action against them (I hope they will do).

      these all due to individuals on the work place who make these issues with out the knowledge of company and some times that of the managers of the service centers itself.
      I too got delivery of Access after 5 months in Nashik after lot of follow up with dealer as well as Suzuki Area in-charge. Suzuki officials are aware of malpractices but are not interested in taking any action for obvious reason. In fact, they do not respond to any mail. The only solution is to drag them Consumer Court.

      Suzuki India — Suzuki is declining to replace my engine after it threw a rod

      My 3 year old Suzuki with only 56,000 miles threw a piston rod now they are declining my claim because I don't have records of my service. I only had the Dealer do the service (they say only 3 times) 7 or 8 times.
      I also had another service station perform service and I did it my self at least 3 time.

      Now the dealer ship is telling me that it is going to cost me $5,600 to fix the car.

      If an engine has 100,000 mile warranty and engine blows at 56k miles they manufacture should step up and replace or repair the engine!

      I beleive they should step up and do the right thing!!!!! Replace the engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Suzuki — Regarding Bike Performance

      hi this is dinesh . i bought my bike on 4th feb 2010 in Erode(TN) . In this one year i have faced much problem in my bike its not cost worthy. frequent engine noice . much vibration in front doom & in disk too . back wheel skit . very poor milage .

      Suzuki India — warranty

      I bought a new suzuki swift, from the main agents in Mauritius. It was made in Japan, dated April 2010.
      I have had it serviced at the correct intervals by the main agents. It has just had it's 30,000 K service and one week later the rear wheel bearings have failed. Suzuki will not cover the repair as it is now out of their warranty period. As you may appreciate I am not pleased.

      I purchased Access 125 from Ravi Wheels Baroda.
      on 3/8/2011. Three days after, there was rear tube leakage, after 15 days starter was not working.Last 3 months, I am facing more problems in my vehicle. Three days ago, engine failed, and it was repaired in your work shop. Today 22/7/11 the same problem continued. Please change my vehicle i am unable to continue with this vehicle.......

        booked the vehicle on 15 jul 10 at chogule moters kolhapur vide their receipt no 7490 dated 15/07/10. At the time of booking promised the delivery within tow to three months. Before two weeks informed by the dealer that the vehicle will be delivered within two days and keep the amount ready., and again two later informed their was mistake and my number in queue and the vehicle cant delivery.. Now before one week on enquirer they informed that they are putting in billing and the vehicle will be delivered within 10 to 15 days. Now the 10 days have been lapsed. On inquiry on 08 Oct 10 they are stating that due to Commanwelth games the delivery of vehicle is stopped and now the delivery will take place in next month if possible. Other than these the way of behavior of the dealer is very rude. Kindly look in to the matter.

        I have booked suzuki acess 125 on 07 september 2011 and they have promised me to deliver my vehicle on 07 octoober 2011.when i was there to recieve my vehicle they told me that we dont have stock remaining.Again they promised me to deliver scooty on 09 october 2011 when i reached there again they told me (mein koi mithai wala nahi huin jo 1 hour mein mithai taiyaar kar de) we dont have stock available.

          Right side-rear wheel tyre wears very fast from day one,approached dealer, they told its tyre problem then approached J.K.tyre dealer,they took test drive and noticed disturbing humming sound but declined to accept it as tyre problem. In this repeated visits, months passed and warranty period ended. Maruti authorised service centre namely SAI CAR care,bhuwana,udaipur where this car is serviced regularly,changed spindle R.R wheel, but without any improvement. Now i am told by the dealer and service centre that main pin(rod) between two wheel is defective, if it is so its a manufacturing defect for which i am suffering mentally,financially and it is posing life risk,driving on highways with one tyre depleted badly.My car never met any minor accident so please solve my problem immediately otherwise I will have to move to consumer court and demand replacement of car from maruti suzuki for driving 1 lac km. with mental tension for five years every day.kindly make sure that this problem is solved.

            im from goa...booked a suzuki access on the 3rd of dec 2010 from the margao Quadros motors...no sign of it till date... the dealers asked me to pay rs 25000... and said that ill get the bike in months time...what i dont understand by this is if it can be delivered in 3 months time by paying 25k why not otherwise...inspite of making full payments if we dont have the bike in time...i too feel the company is hand in gloves with the local dealers...in fleecing money from customers...why is there such a delay...all this seema hoax ... sorry to say...

              I had purchased a wagon r duo car from COMPETENT AUTO -SOHNA ROAD GURGAON ,HARYANA in 12 march 2010. At that time i didnot know about the document of a lpg car. iknow only simple document.After some days i get document of car and apply for registration.when i go to registration authority for taking R.C. I came to know that my file was objectioned due to non receiving of LPG CERTIFICATE OF CAR. I contact to dealer for this many time for this.Once they say that the salesman who sell us car has gone to Haridwar for kawar.After that they say that they have sent mail to their H.O. Every weak i contacted with but in vain.I also go to Gurgaon for this 4 times.Last time at 25 sept. i was there then they say dont tell us about this, contact the person who is middleman between us , who is an finance advisor.at last i complained to toll free no. of maruti at 03 October.Today 06 OCT. they say that dealer will contact soon with us.
              How can anybody wait for 7 months for the documents.I dont know how can they run a showroom of india's top car company.
              I wants to say if any body can help me in this matter plz HELP........

                I purchased a Maruti Alto car from M/s. Max Auto, Sangrur on 16.10.2010. After a few days from its purchase, the car met with an accident. The repair done by the dealer workshop was unsatisfaotory and unnecessary parts were replaced just to raise heavy bill to claim from insurance co. The working condition of the car after repairs is worst. No body in the dealership of Max Autos, Sangrur, hears my problems.

                Further starting from its purchase, the car gives very low mileage of about 12 kms/ltr. I lodged repeated complaints with the above dealer but to no effect. Even, the car was checked up from other dealers at Solan (HP) and Patiala (PB) but, they also failed to rectify the fault. I am in great problem and have to incur more money on extra petrol consumption. So much so, in the try to have more mileage, the car engine has started making abnormal vibrations which could also not be rectified by the said dealer.

                E mail as well as a registered letter has been sent to the CMD of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. New Delhi. But, no response has been received from him so far.

                sub.-complaint about repairing of my car..
                sir i have send my car to new workshop:near namaste chownk, karnal for repairing. it was an accidental car.manager have given us 1 week for repairing but now its about 3 weeks and my car is not ready till now.so please sir i request you that u tell them to repair my car as soon as possible.

                  I am Praveen Chauhan, Engineer in Munjal Showa. I have the swift dzire purchased on 10 nov.2009 from Passco (Gurgaon). One of tyre of my car had punchared before two months. Which repaired two times by an authorised shop. But it dos't work and there is continous leakage and tyre become empty within 30 to 35 hrs. When i talked about my problem to an autorised agency, they told me about the bad material of tyre due to which the grip of rubber are not well. And when i concern about my whole problem with Passco (Gurgaon) on 19-09-10, they did'nt take any type of seriousness toword my problem.
                  So please help me to over come from this problem as soon as possible.

                  Maruti Suzuki — tyre problem

                  I purchase a brand new WAGON R LXI CNG on 4th November,2010 and observed some kind of problem in my rear left side car tyre (Observed a cut) and this cut I am observing after 2 days of my car purchase. But at that time I was taken this problem very lightly but on 29th November I was suffered because of this problem so I was change it with the spare tyre and I am visited to your Maurti authorized service station and dealer on 1st December but they are telling me this kind of problem is not occurred by us so we are not responsible for this but I am arguing them why they are not telling me at the time of delivery to check the all tyre because after the delivery they are not responsible for this kind of problem and I am defiantly sure about this kind of problem not occurred by me.

We have found Manufacturing defect in one tubeless tyre which has run just 3000 km and the same have been shared with the Maruti Suzuki dealer, Vipul Motors whom we have purchase the car. In spite of repeated meetings with the dealer my problem was not solves & listened. Therefore I request to you to take necessary step & solve my problem at the earliest

                  I had bought a new swift desire on 27 feb 2012 from chandigarh.all the tyres are defective after 17000 km. Uneven wear and tear of tyres observed.MAruti showroom guys had checked suspension and alignement and found all ok.Then they send me to JK tyres .Then jk tyres rejected by saying that this is not the manufacturing defect.Where should i go as all my services are on time and every thing is on time.Then why company is not taking proper action.

                    Before Ist Month's Service the vehicle has Complaint of its Centre Lock. I have mentioned the thing at the time of Ist Service to INDUS at Thrissur Service Centre. They confirm the Complaint and change its parts(if you need i shall give you the details of the Parts) after two weeks (Aprrox.- two days the vehicle with the centre for clearing this.). They are not able to Clear the problem till now. So I am not able to enjoy the full option facility provided by the Company.

                    I kindly request you that either clear the problem with in One week or Return back the AMOUNT which I have paid for the FULL OPTION.

                      My Swift Dzire within 1. years 11 times gone to service station at AMAR CAR + Baroda but till date not completed, every time new problem identified by service engineer. After serving mostly 3-4 days running good.
                      Today also my car at AMAR CAR and he his asking me for estimation of Rs.21000/- this is not bearable. Please take action against him.

                        Vaganour VXI Car booked in 29th August, 2010 at Varun Motors, Nizamabad on name Sh. But today i.e. 05.10.2010, he failed to deliver the CAR. The payment also paid for Rs. 464606/- with forcely on 29th September, 2010. Now no response is giving the dealer (sales officer). At the time of booking the vehicle is available at Mitra Agencies, RTC Cross Road, Hyderabad. But according to sales officer words,we booked in Nizamabad, because he said that, "No problem sir, I will also deliver the CAR with in 2 weeks". He booked the car, for his self target given by the company. But, he shown the sale in next month.                           i have purchased a maruti swift in the year 2006 from m/s ganapati motors, bhilai and have been regularly servicing it from the same dealer. however, for the past 1-2 years, the performance of the service station has become considerably poor.

                          technicians are not enough capable of detecting the fauld and continously insist on replacements for very minor problems. spares are not available most of the time,

                          please look into the matter and do the needful.

                          MARUTI UDYOG LTD — INTOLERABLE SMELL COMING FROM THE CAR.

                          WHEN THE CAR REMAINS LOCKED INTOLERABLE SMELL IS COMING FROM THE CAR.THE DEFECT WAS IDENTIFIED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.WE ARE NOT AT ALL SATISIFIED WITH THE CAR.THE COMPANY SEEMS TO HAVE DELIVERED US A DEFECTIVE CAR.THE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE CAREFUL BEFORE DELIVERYING THE CAR.

                              I own a 2005 model Maruti Swift ZXI. I had handed over the vehicle to ABT Maruti for service when the car had done just 20,000 Kms. The car's ABS was in perfect condition when the vehicle was handed to them. After I took out the vehicle once the service was done, I noticed the ABS indicator in the instrument console was flashing, which means that the ABS is not working properly. I took the car back to the service centre. They tested the system and said that there is a problem with the sensors and they have to be replaced at my own cost. They damaged the car's ABS and now they expect us to pay for the damage causes by them. Never expected such a bad service from their side. We are a regular customer to ABT maruti and we give three cars namely Swift, Esteem and Omni for regular service. But this is the kind of response I get from them. In spite of complaining to the Maruti Customer Care, there was no response from the Company's side too. Maruti will lose its hold over the small car market if this trend continues as it is earning a bad reputation for these kind of issues.

                                I had purchased the suzuki access 125 cc on[protected]

                                vehicle number KL-8 AS 5361 black access 125cc

                                At the time of purchasing the vehicle, Front shield and mud-guard were scrached.
                                As soon as we saw the defect we had informed the service centre about this defect. they had promised that they will clear the defects during the first service . they had also mentioned about it in the service book with seal and sign, so we believed them.
                                During the first service, they didn't keep their promise. They didn't clear the defects. And after a month just before the second service, the vehicle had gone through some scraches. this time they told us that because of this reason they can't clear the defects the vehicle already had. I can't believe it , I purchased this vehicle because of the quality of your service.

                                2 before the first service, there had some bubbles on the front mask. and we had reported about this complient also. Again they promised that they will clear these defects. Till now
                                there we got no sign of a good responce from them .


                                Is this your way of dealing with customers? We hope that you will take the neccessory actions to solve these problems .

                                We also hope that you won't treat us like your thrissur service centre..

                                  I have purchased New Wagon-R (Blue Eyed Boy) on 30th April from Amar Cars Pvt Ltd and since day one I am facing problem with Headlight i.e. during running headlight is deem & full automatically which has been reported to the dealer thrice but each time they check up with Alternator and they too feel that alternator needs to be changed which is awaited from company. Since 04 months has passed but till date problem is not been shorted out and i came to know that this problem is with atleast 10 to 12 cars in our area. Please take up matter with Maruti Suzuki end help us in getting the alternator changed.

                                    I buy Alto k10 VXI model on dated 6th August 2010 on the next day of the launch of this alto k10 model. I bought it from Rana Motors, Safdarjung Enclave, South Delhi, New Delhi. I purchase this car on 6-August-2010 and just after 3 days on 8-August-2010 my car start give me problem of starting beacuse just after 3 day my car show the light of sensor, this is a yellow light just near of the Battery light. when i start my car the light of sensor continously blinking and my car did not start. i call on the same day to the service manager Mr. Negi for this complaint he asked me that in first service we can solve your problem its not a big problem. after 1 month on dated 6- September 2010 when i go to rana motor okhla service station they do all service of my car but tell me that they have no sensor of the new Alto K10 car and in this time we cannot change it. we will change it after 20th September 2010 and they assured me that you not facing any starting problem. ok on that day i come back to my home without any trouble of Starting. but on 11th of September just 5 days of service my car once again do start problem of starting i was on the way of yamuna vihar to seelampur and just in the middle of the Jafrabad road my car stop and did't start. i call on 18004200 and after 1 hour the maruti car assistant service is coming and he do start my car. but the problem is not solve my car is start stoping anytime. i come to my home and parked my car in the parking in between i am very busy so i did't use my car for 2 week. it was a very rainy day so i go to parking for my car but it doesnt start and then once again i call 18004200 and the car assistant service is coming and the machenic tell me that he cannot start my car because this sensor work is only solve in the service station. now my car is stand in my house i am very fedup and now i am going to launge a case against maruti suzuki Rana motor that they give a defected manufactured piece of Alto K10 and change it.

                                    Also, why cann't you call up the Maruti Toll free number and give complaint on the dealer.
                                    As this is very new product, they wll take the complaint very serious. Why can not you do that?

                                        I have booked a Swift Dzire VDi, from A.M MOTORS MALAPPURAM, Kerala on 11th may 2010. They told that the Car will be delivered with in 4 months. Accordingly I have sanctioned my car loan & sold off my earlier Car . But on 10th September 2010, when I enquired about delivery date, the dealer M/s A.M MOTORS mentioned that there is no surity of delivery & the date can be extended. I am very much depressed about such poor commitment from the dealer.
                                        I will insist Maruti Udyog to take more care to the customers in improve their despatch fill compliance level.

                                        Maruthi Suzuki — No in-built clock & change in wheel cups

                                        Hi,

                                        My name is Cinup Jose, i own a Maruthi Suzuki Glam(limited edition) from Popular Motors, ernakulam last month. Its a new model from Maruthi and nobody (even dealers) don't have the idea of the specifications and features of the new model. Before decided to purchase the car, i have gone through the additional features of the new vehicle. When i got the car (it was a home delivery), i noticed that there is no clock in the vehicle. Even LXI also comes with inbuilt clock which is 1 lakh rupees lesser than the limited edition. My question is why i have not received the clock. My dealer also not aware of whether it comes with clock.

                                        One more thing. In the advertisement of glam, its mentioned that it comes with a different wheel cups (not like vxi). but i got the same wheel cups like vxi. I asked the dealer about this. I don't think they will change it when i give the vehicle for first servicing.

                                        Maruthi Suzuki — very bad service after sale

                                        3rd free service of my vehicle (OMNI VAN) carried out on 27/01/2010. on 29/01/2010 the vehicle met with an accident front panel bend, front glass broken etc. I admit vehicle on POPULAR showroom on the same day. On 17/02/10 I get back the vehicle and paid Rs. 20,695/- . But the following complaints are not yet rectified. The service engineers are also convencing me they are right and not action has been taken :-
                                        1. Reverse geare is not working properly.
                                        2. Head light has not been fixed in correct position.
                                        3. Wiper is not working properly where as all the above items has been replaced.
                                        4. Speaker JVC, which I gave them on 27/01/2010 for service/replacement has not been return till date and saying that "That is dealing Anu, who is on leave.
                                        5. After body wash the matress has not been fixed and all the buttons has been lost.
                                        I booked Swift Dzire VDi in May 11 at A.M motors Malappuram.In that time they says my car will deliver with in 3 months(August 11).Now they says my car will deliver at after September 15.
