Dear Sir / Madam,

Since I could not get any response, I dialed customer care number [protected] for inquiring the amount that I would be getting after surrendering the policy. I could not get correct answer from the customer care executive and the answer is too confusing. I was shocked to listen to him saying that I would be getting only 30% of the total premiums paid till date plus applicable bonus!!! when I asked for the exact amount that I would be getting, he has told that I would be getting only Rs.88k where as I have paid total premiums of about Rs.151k. (It does not match with the 30% what the customer care executive told also).

When I took this policy, Maxlife insurance agent has told that I would be getting full premiums back plus bonus applicable on the date of surrendering provided I surrender the policy after 3 years of lock-in-period and I am surrendering after 6 years.. It very frustrating with the false promises by the insurance agencies and Maxlife being an international insurance player not being transparent.

I would request you to re-pay me the entire Rs.151k soon after I surrender the policy tomorrow (29th May 2017)

    I have a policy with max life insurance which commenced in 2013 and i pay15000rs annually from last 5 years. It is for 6 years and will be matured after 20years from date of commencement. We are not made aware of this initially properly. Agent bluffed my dad, and did not even get in touch since then, not even once. When i raised a complaint saying i did not get any premium receipt or policy details time to time then i get a call from maxlife and a guy explained me that you have to pay 90000 in six years and at the time of maturity, which after 20 years you will get 88000.
    Am i fool that i will get a policy for 20 long years and that to on maturity would not get any premium and instead receive less amount than what was paid.
    Its mental harassment for these longs years with maxlife. Its my hard earned money, i can just loose it like that. Please help to recover. Please!!

      I took an online term plan with Max Life Insurance on 27-April-2017 and paid the premium online for INR 623.20. I received a call in 2 days for medical verification and was told that the policy will be issued in 2 days.

      Since then I started receiving random emails from Max that premium is pending (APPLICATION STATUS :Proposal decisioned, awaiting for complete premium"), but no clarification is provided whatsoever on the amount/period. Nowhere in their website have they mentioned anything about multiple premiums. When I called up their useless customer service, even they don't have any clue about the email. I received 3 such emails.

      Yesterday (23-May-17), I received an email asking for premium from February month onwards! Why should I pay premium from February, when I applied for the policy on 27-April? This clearly shows how irresponsible/inconsistent/chaotic way this company is run.

      For the last 15 days, I've been struggling with this pathetic company to CANCEL THIS APPLICATION, but all my efforts going down the drain.
      I emailed all of escalation matrix (useless bunch of people):

      I spoke to many of their representatives [Devki Nandan Dwivedi, Kuljeet Kaur, and many others, who will always say "24 to 48 hours" without any understanding.

      In short: This is an company and customers should refrain from buying anything. They don't have any process or channel in doing business. Thins just happen randomly, which is dangerous in financial domain.

      I just need this application to be cancelled and my premium refunded.

      My cancellation request is still not processed even after promised by 2 of your representatives.
      [protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com doesn't care at all. I sent more than 10 emails and NOTHING received a response.

      Make sure my application/policy is cancelled and refund the premium immediately!

          Sir 10years ago i had taken police number[protected]. I have paid 50000 total amount as i was paying 5000/annually.
          The matter is this that i have taken this police for 10years and which i have completed the same term,. But when i went to the branch of max new york life insurance bathinda they told me that you have to paid for more 15 yrs as your policy term is 25yrs but i said that no sir i have purchased only for 10yrs which are compeleted and now i need money urgently.
          They said sir if you surrender your policy then you wil get only 31000 rs. Against 50000. I shocked.
          I totaly missguided by the company's employee.

          Sir i am requesting you that please help me to take my money back with interest..

              Today i got a phone call on my mobile from a person said to be calling from bima lokpal sector 135 plot 140 noida asking me about any problem with regard to agent or the insurance company. Then he enquired about policy number my date of birth so that he can forward my complaint and let me know the latest fund value bonus declared and the maturity nav value of all my life insurance policy. I asked him to send me his name address by sms he refused instead asked my email id so that he can send reply by his email.
              When i threatened him that i am going to police station or ring 100 to file fir against him, he said my voice is not clear. And if i am calling from metro train why my mobile voice is not audible.
              Finaly he cut the call abruptly.
              Such calls appear to be fake and every day some girls are calling similar calls for details of complaint against insurance company /agent not giving service etc. On calling for fir the girls abruptly cut the call.
              Today phone call was from[protected] at 16:49:10 lasting for 14:08 minutes.
              Please look into the matter and get the matter investigated through police authority / irda crime branch etc to nab the culprits otherwise public will lose faith in the government functioning and investment in insurance sector on long term basis affecting our nation econome adversaly besides cyber crime and digital technology frauds by impersonation, cheating, extortion of money by undue pressure, luring into job, quick service for funds payment release etc.
              Senior citizens physicaly inactine persons ladies students etc can become soft target of fraudulent unscrupulous elements searching fake jobs.

                        I had applied for max term plan along with cancer care waiver. However it's been disgusting that max life has not informed regarding denial of cancer care policy.
                        Inspite of regular calls to max life toll free no. I have not been given satisfactory information. I need details regarding reason to deny policy and clause against which policy has been denied.

                          Sub.: Falsely Issuance of Max Life Insurance Policy No.[protected], with intent of cheating.

                          Dear Sir,

                          In the month of January-2017, I received a call from Mr.Saurabh Mehta (Senior Manager) at your branch asking me to visit the branch. As I had idle funds in my account and to make Fixed Deposit of the same, which will give me higher rate of interest. The next day I visited the branch and Mr.Saurabh got some papers signed from me on the pretext of formalities for the FDR. After that I asked for the FDR and was told that the same would be sent to me by courier/registered post in a few days.

                          Few days later a courier came to my address, which was received by my parents who are not literate. They informed me regarding a courier from bank and I asked them to accept the same as I was expecting the FDR, since I was out of town.

                          On my return, when I opened the courier I was surprised to see that it contained a Max Life Policy and not the FDR. After contacting the branch regarding the same I was informed that my money was invested in the policy and not the FDR.

                          Sir, I do not require any life insurance policy. This policy was issued to me purely by cheating and under false implications. I am not very well-off and require the money for treatment of my parents.

                          Now, it is highly requested that the same be cancelled and my money refunded to me immediately. If the same is not refunded, I shall be forced to take the matter to competent courts and the banking Ombudsman.

                                My max life policy no.[protected]. After paying the first year premium of 50k, i want to surrender my policy as i am hearing about max life insurance from my friend's circle. The customer care advised me to pay for 2 more years -3 yrs is mandatory-so that i can surrender my policy. So i did. Paid 1, 50, 000 till now. Now they have given a historical reply which should be curved in golden stone - that - i will be getting only 70k out of my money rs.1, 50, 000. Reason is - first month premium they will not consider for repayment and only 70 per cent of the remaining money will be refunded.
                                What a honest and generous reply? Eating people's hard earned money in the name of rules - is it a business? How can it be? Instead of giving me interest they are deducting my money. Why this rule is not revealed to me earlier? I would have stopped with that 50k only no? How come companies can device such rules? Only legal proceedings will answer my question i suppose. Expecting reply.

                                  My name is harikumar s r. I had taken the policy on sep 08 and i have paid the policy for 5 yrs till dec13. On contacting about maturity period i was informed that there is no such maturity period for this policy as it is a whole life participating policy for 100 yrs and i have to pay till 100 yrs. Seriously!!! Is it any kind off joke??? Sum assured is 10 lakhs and to claim that i need to wait for 100 yrs. So on contacting max life and i said the policy was mis - sold to me without informing about the maturity period, they said get in touch with the agent. Is that how u respond to the customer. Agent was johnykutty with agent id:22883., i contacted the agent and he said contact max insurance itself. So out of frustration i stopped making the payment and in jan17 i got a call from max life saying that if i dont make the remaining payment by 31 march 17, my policy will be terminated and i shall get amount back. On asking what is the amount, they said i will get only 36000rs, whereas i have paid rs.100000. This is pure cheating from the insurance company. Today im going to submit my documents for surrendering the policy. If i dont get my complete amount that i have paid, i will go to media and court regarding the cheating the insurance company and the stupid agent who does anything to sell the insurance policy.

                                    I am a advisor of Max Life insurance company ltd and my code is 622471. I sold a MIAP plan to Mr Shyamsunder AGARWAL on the 26th of March 2017. As per the procedure he had visited the laboratory on the 27th of March 2017 to give his blood samples to complete the formality of buying the policy from me. The samples were kept lying in the Navkar laboratory for more than 36 hours with being analysed, it only after I inquired about them the report was prepared and submitted to Max life. I want to inform you that the report was faulty as any doctor will tell you that if the samples are not analized within a time frame the findings will be faulty. Due to the faulty reports Max life wanted extra premium from the customer which he rightfully refused to pay and I lost that hard earned policy. The customer also himself tested from a independent laboratory immediately and the reports were drastically different.SIR I HAVE RAISED THESE ISSUES AND GIVEN AMPLE AMOUNT OF EVIDENCE TO MR SHIV MAHESHWARI, MR SACHIN JANGRA OF YOUR COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT HERE, MR IVAN D'SILVA YOUR ZONAL HEAD AND MANY MORE CONCERNED OFFICERS OF YOUR COMPANY 30 DAYS AGO YET THERE IS NO ACTION TAKEN ON THE LABORATORY, INSTEAD YOUR OFFICERS ARE SHIELDING THEM WHICH IS SURPRISING TO ME. SIR KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL ON THE MATTER OR I WILL HAVE TO APPROACH IRDA ON THE MATTER
