Last year my wife Mrs. Rinki Saxena had undergone a surgery in which implants were posed inside her right elbow. This year those implants are removed in a surgery again. Right from the begining of second surgery it has been requested to the concern people that we need those returned back after removal from body. After surgery we are continuously asking for the same, but except assurance we didn't get anything. Today they denied to return those implants back to us for which we paid 93 thousand rs. in last surgery bill with excuses of hospitals protocals.

My relative's surgery was scheduled for 20-may-2015. We were asked to get admission on 19th may 2015. When we reached to hospital. There were no rooms available for patient. Staff have no clue when the bed will be available for patient. When we talked to doctor's assistant he said he is not responsible for this, he just ensures surgery date and time. How can anyone say that? Did they expect from patient to come for surgery and bring their own beds? Never the less, first day experience was horrible and on second day, surgery was scheduled on 9-00 but till 1 there was no information of being postponement. Nurses have no clue when surgery is expected. House keeping staff was not at all co-operative. Even a request for water has to be made many times. Patient's ring to call nurse is just a formality; they even do not bother about this. This experience is for just 1 and half day, now, i am scared how things will go for next few days.

Medicity gurgaon hospital of criminal naresh trehan. And u call doctors as gods:)

Medicity a criminal hospital a money minter:

I am one of thousands of people/patients who met with wrong and delayed treatment due to negligence of madanta; no dedication but greed of money making by mediicty caused the doctors to leave their ethical oaths and work for cause of making money at cost of patient health.

      - i visited dr sumit singh the head of department of neurology to cross refer my diagnosis who inpite of my 10 visits to his opd, altered my medicine and stopped my levipil 500 mg to cause me scissor and stroke after paying his 10 opd visits to him and medicity.
      - i drove my car and got my stroke in medicity. Is that why u got to hospitals.?
      - i could have been managed initially in a simple room but the medicity staff on hearing that i am insured pushed me in icu…
      - and in icu the staff missed by important and dependent steroid dose of 1 gm methyl predisinone, which delayed my treatment, and caused brain hemorrhage …is that why u pay so high at icu?
Shame on medicity. That even after 22 months…i cannot walk and lost my job due to negligence of neurological treatment and dr sumit singh (The son of bi*h) and a bas*d.
I curse and hate as i cannot thing anything to this doctor sumit singh (Head of neurology medanta) an hospital medanta but advise other people not to go to thsi hospital who spoiled my life and my career.

The icu where i was admitted missed my starting dose by 6 hours (At the time of stroke), only when my wife checked that it was missing and approached sumit singh to tell him how careless is medanta/ medicity... The dose was injected...

A simple thing which even graduating doctors will understand was not understood by dr. Sumit and dept of neurology at medicity…shame on them. All they did perfectly is minted money from my insurance company. And spoiled by health…and left me crippled…until i went to reputed govt hospitals like aiims and pgi to cross diagnose and they made mockery of medicity (They call medicity as doctors as dacoits)…

I request foreign nationals to not get treatment with medicity and do not rate indians bad by just evaluating your feedback with medicity, even we indians not treat them with trust and respect. I also know of so many incidents where medicity kept body of patients 2 days after expiry in icu to mint money and create a case of defense by eliminating proofs of their negligence. My close cousin lost his father due to medicity.

I do not want to name people…but one of my friends wife's ligament on knee was operated without reason. And she is not able to walk properly…they are contacting legal authorities to sue medicity.

In simple words, medicity is a fraud hospital…even graduating doctors know more than head of departments like sumit singh in medicity. Unfortunately i was so busy with my paralysis and i was not able to stand properly, i did not have time and energy to go to courts for this..

Even after almost 2 years of this incident, i could not stop myself from abusing head of neurology, dr sumit singh and medanta: with all witness of these mistakes, i also met a lady who lost her leg due to medanta negligence and my relative who lost his life; it is not only about neurology but the complete medicity is full of patients who have been mis-treated and are suffering or dead (Cheated and crying); god will punish people like sumit singh and dr tehran, shame to call them doctors.

I have also posted this blog on internet below, please read when you gets some time
The worst hospital service experienced. They have no idea about the process and how to coordinate with a TPA. Medanta has only become a money minded hospital. They are backed by the incompetent staff. They don't understand the practicality and harasses the patient mentally. Even 1 star is too much for them. They should get a negative rating.
        Dear Sir

Its really unfortunate that how our medical fraternity is turning out to be heartless. I have written a small article about stroke patients and also had suggested some tips if somebody gets a stroke. Hope it would help you and also thousands of other patients who are suffering similar fate everyday in various institutions.

@Danny - I agree Ayurveda has some remarkable solutions for problems created by allopathy. While ventilators don't let you die, Ayurveda can help revive!
@Ravi - Sorry to hear about your loss. But look around, there's lot you are still left with, you can still breathe (and probably do many other things). I have seen people dying because of the lax, but that's my judgement, a layman, the doctors would have their own version of story. By now you would have established you are not alone. The crowd that gathers in the said hospital are all prone to this risk. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to take an action, and not let your suffering go in vain.
May God give you and your family strength to fight this out!

        Thanks

Me and my mother visited Medanta on 7 April 2015 to consult skin doctor Ramanjit Singh. But to much of our disappointment I was not attended properly. The doctor was busy in his phone n did not paid heed to what we were saying. Dear Dr. Trehan, 1 day later I saw ur interview on a news channel saying that Patient satisfaction is so very crucial and important during treatment. So if a doctor diagnoses the disease without listening to patients problem adequately n sufficiently, where can satisfaction come from. May be your doctors are so much experts n specialists in their field, but every disease may have different reactions on different bodies. So without having a look on what is happening over my skin n other parts too, he can prescribe me medicines for 20 days?????? I even told him about my previous medical history n how worse my disease is, but he merely took it seriously. To much of my surprise, he was constantly asking to the receptionist out there that how many patients are remaining to be consulted.A doctor should focus on current patients problem first and if there is some hurry or some emergency he should either walk out that day rather than attending patient so badly.See, every patient is not so financially sound that he pays Rs.800 for every visit. And on top of that if doctor does not perform their duties well then why charge so much fees?? Its just required that doctor should hear patient to the level where patient feels contended. Then only can patient be made sure that he will be recovered soon. I have wasted my full one day there out first waiting for the doctor AND then wasting my 800 bucks.. So it is hoped that doctors would keep their cell phones apart n rather take magnifying glasses, stethescope n other needed medical equipments to justify the profession!!!

Hospital have given me a package for biopsy of rs 33, 000. After asking for the break up (It is attached for your reference) you can see the room rent is being changed for rs 4, 000 for twin sharing basis but patient was admitted in day care department and hospital brochure have clearly mention the room charges day care which cannot exceed rs 2.5k for a day. Now they are not accepting this mistake and is adamant that it is a package given to us, and nothing can be done.

Big brand name does not necessarily mean a quality product/service. I realized this again when i visited medanta medicity, gurgaon yesterday to seek doctor's advice on the pain in the 2nd toe neck line of my right foot. I got appointment of dr. Balwinder rana with a fancy title of foot and ankle injury specialist after paying 800/- bucks. He advised me to get an x-ray done (900/- bucks). However, since this was never a bone injury, the x-ray revealed nothing. He then asked me to get an mri done without even thinking about any other problem that could cause this pain apart from bone injury. I walked out of the hospital without getting this test done as it was too expensive (Around 10000/- as told by the billing desk) for the pain i was suffering. I felt so much helpless anger within myself of being looted for two and half hours and got nothing in return from the hospital. I was wondering how unprofessional and insensitive these hospitals have become many of which have got land and other facilities at absurd cheap rates from government. How can poor even think of entering such hospitals.
I do not understand what sort of practice/training such doctor's go through who can't even use their experience to figure out the diagnosis? The idealist can argue that without tests how can a doctor identify the diagnosis correctly? This may be true but on case to case basis. In most of the simple cases the doctor should be able to diagnose the problem may be after getting some basic tests done like an x-ray in may case, but an mri? Definitely not! It is clear that only money is the criteria of treatment for these hospitals. The thumb rule of such big hospitals is to extract as much money as possible from the patients in the name of tests.
I can't think of any solution to this problem? Can you?

This is against negligence of medanta hospital from all aspects from bottom to top level putting patient into life threatning condition and showing arrogance filling pockets
I am medical postgraduate and secretary of ima and ex consultant delhi govt so i know all facts and want to expose these people infront of general public sothat our aam aadmi should not suffer
My mother admitted in medanta hospital under dr rajgopalan for b/l knee replacement with perfect physical condition and well informed allergic and hypersensitive reaction to diclofenac sodium and to avoid nephrotoxic drugs. Despite that they gave inj voveran and inj tobraneg
When inquired they were in denial mode
2nd postop day she developed pulmonary embolism and when we approached to all concerned persons they again in denial phase and giving stupid explanations of condition filling as they didnot took proper consent of the condition, no prophylaxsis, no proper assesement of the condition
They let us 5 minutes to meet her once in 24 hrs in icu and were always negligent despite thousands of reminders of the disease
They have learnt that negligence is better than cure as this makes their pocket more heavy
She developed acute renal failure and urinary retention and when inquired why this happenned they said what we can do if it happenned,
At the time of discharge on 23rd dec too they were ignorant or negligent
They even than didnt give proper management of pulmonary embolism as they were waiting for readmission
After that when she got another episode of pulmonary embolism on 4th jan we met them again they said nothing to worry drspite patient vitals and clinical condition not well
On the same day in the evening she got severe attack and if i would not have been medical expert person with her she cud have died and we shifted her to emergency and than too they gave stupid explanations for patient condition and only when we forced them they investigate and it was massive pulmonary embolism
Patient is now readmitted for more than 11 days and still lots of controversy lots of negligence in treatment and i reminded several times to mr dr tehran but they all buisy in their master plan of fooling patients and looting aam aadmi
I have told you all that in brief and i have got all the evidences in form of recordings, files and photos
I will not let them till the supreme court of india with your support, but presently i have only priority is my mother
