I am a sugar patient and had gone for coronary stenting in the month of december 2017. As per the instructions i was supposed to visit my dr. After three months that is to day. Dr advised me to have echo stress test done to day. I took an appointment at 11:53 in the morning and it is 3 p. M i have been told to wait for one hour more. The staff in the lab is not cooperative and it is beyond my understanding that for stress echo test a patient has to wait for 3 to 4 hours. I have noticed that some influncial patients get their turn without waiting for such a long period. This needs to be looked into before it is too late to have bad reputation of such a good institution.

    I would like to complain about kushal kumar. He was at billing counter number 3 at 17:30 hours today. He is extremely incompetent and rude. He is incompetent because he had no clue about his area - both the edc machines in his area were not working and he had no idea!! He wasted 10 precious minutes trying to swipe my card. His oracle wasn’t working and he was loudly complaining about it to his colleagues. This behaviour is not professional and definitely doesn’t reflect demeanour of a 7 star hospital. You take money because of the experience you provide to your customers and these kind of experiences ruin your brand name! He is rude as he couldn’t find my registration number. When he finally found it he shook his head and said “how could i find it if you tell me a wrong surname” well whoever is the front office manager here - you really should control the behaviour of your staff! Pathetic experience and it’s all caused by a bad experience at the very start!!!

      Very poor managment in medanta -, for billing you have to stand in que for a long time and that time you can loose yr appointment with doctors. A big floor but only 2 9r 3 repressive that handle the crowd?
      2nd child specialist dr. Neelam mohan behave with patient and their attendent very rude - unexpectdly she shout like a mad?
      Why
      A patient come from remote place to meet the doctor for what? For treatment? Or to be humiliated by dr. Neelam mohan??

        Already we have two kids one is 7.5 yrs and otherone 3 yrs. I am so stressed because of incidence.
        I had inserted arm implant contraception (Nexaplanon) on feb 2015 in uk. I travelled india (Due to business trip) and there i was infected tuberculosis on neck lymph nodes. And after that continuing the tb medication.
        On 18 nov i knew that i am pregnant 16 weeks + 3 day. Now i want to abortion. I am so stressed.
        Please help me. I have only concern of time.

        The appointment fee has been increased by 33% from 900 to 1200. Being a salaried class employee my salary does not increase by 33%. The maximum increase is 5-8%. This is unreasonable.

          I came to india on family medical leave from usa to help my mother with knee replacement surgery. There were few documents for the doctors office that needs to be signed in order for me to file my fmla leave from usa. I have to admit for a international hospital they have no clue on how to treat their international patients and families. On numerous occasions, i have informed dr marya team of my forms that needs to be signed and scanned by their department to me so i can forward to my employer in usa. Its now been almost two months and we are no where close. Today they called because of a date issue and i had to explain to them the months are written first before the date mmddyyyy format in usa. Also dr. Shaloo verma, the office manager hung up the phone on me while trying to coordinating my mother surgery date. I have to admit i have lost confidence in this hospital. I have dealt with other hospitals in the past in india and have never came across this many problems. I will not be returning to this hospital once my mother's care is complete.

            My patient id is 66422. I visited your dietician on 02.11.2017. This visit to dietician was advised by my cardiologist as p/ptca he observed that my sugar was 125/170 and since my physical activity have reduced i must control my sugar through proper diet. When she asked me about my current meals practice i told her that last full meals i take at around 5:30 pm and that is because i follow jain faith. And here she got so much disturbed that she clearly told that then she could not do anything for me and can not advise six meals between 9 am and 5:30 pm. I even told that after sunset i do not take cereals or anything made of cereals but otherwise i can take anything so that it is vegetarian and take milk any way around 9 pm but even then she did not advise anything further. The chart noting also reads "dinner: 5 pm - 1 big plate salad. I felt not only cheated but wasted nearly 2 hours in waiting for my turn and also got humiliated for no fault of mine. I never expected such a unprofessional and unethical treatment to a patient at medanta medicity.

              Unfortunately we need to come to medanta every 3 months to get my child's peg feeding tube replaced and out her dr that is dr neelam mohan is in medanta. This is the last place we want to visit due to poor customer service and kind of response from endeoscopy dept. Observation. All sisters and brothers are not ready to listen to anything. We are suppose to keep our child on fasting for 3-4 hours. We were given appointment for 10 am but despite several tries we were only given a bed at 12 pm and only after constant reminders to all staff in endoscopy they had put her in fluid. May be there is less staff here due to which all the staff is frustrated.

              Kindly look into this matter.

                After waiting for 5 five hours, i asked for shifting in room then one o[censored]r female staff said this is medanta and here works happens very slow. This is my wish that who will be transfered to room or not.

                I just want to know this is the way to reply in a world class hospital if no then please take an action.

                One of my attendent was sitted on my bed because he is a hemophilic and he cannot stand on his feet for long time. Your's sister said he have to leave this place or if he want to stay with me then he can't sit. She said according to hospital policy no one can sit on the patient's bed.

                  My father was admitted in medanta hospital for treatment of heart, the doctor took responsibility to fix his heart issues. I was happy to know that my father would be fine after treatment and the doctors confidence has given me hope.
                  However after admission in hospital and in a day or two things were different and it was like that they are into making money and not their to save life.
                  After 3 days doctor decided to take patient for surgery, i am not aware how well he was prepared as he was on vacation from last three days giving me assurance that he is in touch with doctors in hospital however there was no sign of that visible. Dr anil bhan was the doctor and looking at his career i was confident that he will not cheat and have that skill to treat heart. I have gave assurance to my father as well that he will be treated best in hospital as its considered to be best however i dint tell him that they charge high for that as we are from lower middle class and i was not wanted him to care about this at this situation. Every thing was looking good and were behaving good and gave me hope that my father heart treatment will be fine as per situation however after taking the patient into ot things have changed. I have sent my father in ot with his both hands thumbs up that i am going to be cured how ever he was not aware that he will never come back as will be killed just for money. Yes my father was been killed by doctors and gave me pain and agony which i can never forget. Doctors and hospital has blackmailed me i was not allowed to see him and after logding police complaint when i had permitted i was seeing him situation that he is more however doctor said that he is breathing. While operation as well the dr anil bhan black mailed me that he has to treat him expensive and asked for my permission now you tell me who will deny fro that it was all money making technique from emotional moments. After that he came up with his hands up that he cannot do anything. My father was more i have faced difficulty in seeing me last time and after that when in the morning the hospital gave me bill which was not justified at all as i have discussed with other doctors in city and i was black mailed to pay that bill to take my fathers body. Yes its fact that hospital is keeping the dead body as hostage. My native place is allahabad so i was about to take my father to allahabad so that everyone can see him however the hospital did not allow me. I have photo and documents which proof that the hospitals has done this. The security and finance head anuradha and even the dr has said that that i cannot take body untill and unless clear the unjustified bill. I was forced the pay the bill. They are making money from dead body and plying with sentiments. Hospital first make money and kills and again makes money so medanata is dedicated to make money and not life. Late of 3rd oct or early morning of 4th my father was no more and i have asked for body in the morning as i have to take him to my hometown however the hospital has blakmailed us and took money after taking my fathers life. It was pathetic experience, we have never thought that any doctor or hospital can do any carelessness in treatmant and after that will black mail the relatives. I have all papers, photo and phone calls recorded i request you to please help me in making people aware of this fraud and if possible make this hospital punish as well.

                    The incident happened in the month of august dated 21-aug-2017 where we were fooled by dr. Naresh trehan and his team.
                    The appointment was fixed on 21-aug-2017 with dr. Naresh trehan in medanta, gurgaon as my father was suffering with heart disease.
                    He checked all the reports and cd and told that my father has to go with by pass surgery and advised us to bring him for treatment. We kept faith on him and immediately brought him to the hospital.
                    Then the whole process started where all the tests were done and this continued for a week. No steps were taken for treatment. Rather few unnecessary tests were done which were not related to heart disease to make money. And all the tests were done without our knowledge and approval.
                    Whenever a patient gets hospitalized then any proceedings are done only after informing the attendant and further it is proceeded by attendants's confirmation. But this was not followed in medanta, gurgaon.
                    After 1 week passed, suddenly a doctor came and told that we cannot do by pass surgery or angioplasty as there is not enough space in the heart for by pass surgery and angioplasty can also be not done due to his kidney issues. So the doctor advised to discharge him as of now.
                    Then the case moved to some other doctor. Again we were fooled for other 3-4 days as only tests were going and no treatment was being done.
                    Then after we got into some active and strict mode with the doctor, suddenly he told that we will do his angioplasty. We were in a doubt as we were already told by previous doctor that this cannot be done due to kidney issues. But we wanted our father to get treated anyhow so as suggested by doctor and keeping faith on him the angioplasty was done despite the reports were not normal.
                    This step was taken by the hospital to make money and not to treat the patient as it was supposed to be done.
                    Due to this my father is currently suffering from multi-organ failure and is in a very critical stage. He is almost in the stage of coma.
                    Also at the time of discharge wrong entries were done in billing to make money. For example, in the bill, 17 blood tests were written on the same day in the time span of just 5-6 hours but only 1 blood test was done.
                    I request to take my complaint very seriously as this hospital or any other medical institution has no right to play with someone's life just to make money.
                    Serious actions should be taken against these doctors at any cost.
                    Also i request to refund the unnecessary charges taken through unwanted tests and refund the angioplasty charges which was done forcefully to make money.

                        Hello there, i have been trying to get an appointment since three days. Today i had to hold the phone first for 10.39 minutes before i disconnected and second time i had to wait 26.58 minutes before i disconnected it.
                        Your hospital needs to improve your customer care. If you take 25 minutes to just answer the phone then how much do i have to wait u till you address my issues further.

                          Good afternoon,
                          I have trying to make a doctors appointment over the phone since yesterday. I was on hold for more than 8 minutes each time twice yesterday before i gave up.
                          I tried making an appointment online before calling the hospital but the website was down and it didn't let me go to the past the password step, twice.
                          Finally, i thought i should called the hospital to book the appointment. The first time (Around noon) i spoke to the person she said systems are down so she couldn't book an appointment with dr. Ashok kumar vaid right now, but she would call me back. She didn't called back even though i told her how important is it for me to meet the doctor today itself, if possible. After waiting for an hour i called the hospital back. This time i spoke to another person and she put me on hold and after 4 minutes, the phone was disconnnected. I would love to give you benifit of doubt, but this is insane that a person needs to wait for average 5-8min to even talk to anyone. It's highly unprofessional for hospital of this size.

                            Ref:- medical negligence done during open heart surgery of late deceased hemshankar kumar singh (District and session's judge retired, bihar) by dr. Naresh trehan and his team as a result he died on 02-02-17 in i c u -2 medanta hospital gurgaon haryana.

                            Sir,

                            Under the instruction of my client i send you this legal notice for the refund of entire bill amount of the treatment, operation charge of open heart surgery and medicines consumed in the treatment of the deceased hem shankar kumar singh - patient who died on 02-02-17 in the i c u-2, critical care unit, medanta hospital (Amounting to about rs:- 25, 00, 000/-) along with mental agony cost of rs:- 50, 00, 000/- to my client - the bereaved family members alongwith interest @ 18% per annum due to the medical negligence done by you in the treatment of patient hem shankar kumar singh died on 02-02-17 in i c u -2 within fifteen days otherwise t will take appropriate legal action against you in the competent court of law against you.
                            A copy of this legal notice is kept in my office for further legal action.

                              We come with my father for full body check-up and also with mother.
                              Hospital take too much time for check-up and give me another day timing for more check-up.
                              We are coming from delhi and minimum take 3 hours to come from there. But they can't take seriously. My father is getting more pain on head due to fasting but no one can care about it. All time they take 1 hour.
                              Your hospital is very reputed hospital and i come here from bihar for treatment. If your service is not change then you loose your repotation.

                                  There services are becoming * day by day.. I am myself a medico.. I got my grandfather operated from there best ent oncosurgeon dr deepak sarin for oral ca grade1 squamous. He said local excision and skin grafting was sufficient n there was no need for taking graft from arm or thigh! Now due to primary suturing, contractures are beginning, he directly has stitched the tongue with the buccal mucosa and the mobility of the tongue has been restricted.. He is not able to talk, deglutition is poor and moreover.. The best surgeon has created dead space in the region which has become a source of recurrent infection.. And yet they are the best.. What the hell?!

                                    Nusring services are pathetic because of (1) poor quality of nurses and (2) inadequate number of nursing staff.
                                    Just see that a patient admitted in hospital and nursing staff took nearly 3 hours, after checking in the room, to change teh dress of patient, patient press emergency bell and nursing staff takes minimum 20-25 minutes to come to patient, visiting doctor in room calls for nurse and it takes them at least 15 minutes to come and on 2 occasions nurses didnt even come after repeated call by doctor.

                                    Doctor at nursing station didnt come to counsel and appraise teh patient at time of discharge. Medicines which were to be taken in night at bedtime were mentioned as to be taken in morning after breakfast. When pointed out to doctor then he was too casual in his approach and said that there is a mistake.

                                    Neither and Dietician come nor anybody from hospital gave the diet chart at time of discharge. Next day when we asked for diet chart then we recd a diet chart thro email, but without any patient name and unique code of patient and was just blank, as if it is a standardized diet chart to be given to any and rather all patient.
                                    Patient was admitted for renal treatment but is also suffering from diabetic, hypertension and other diseases. Whereas, diet chart indicated that it is diet chart for renal treatment. We dont know that whether the diet chart took care of other diseases or not.
                                    When tried to contact hospital on[protected], then I made 7 attempts to talk to dietician for more than45 minutes and everytime it was a long musical wait and then phone disconnection.

                                    Such a pathetic service level and that too when the daily room rental is Rs 8000/- and so many other hefty charges, but we paid whatever were the charges of hospital but services and patient care is just pathetic and its deteiorating day by day.

                                    This option of complaint is adopted when I didnt get any response from hospital after lodging complaints to them on their official email including to Mr Trehan's email.
                                    Infact, Mr Trehan and company dont bother about any such complaint, as their only aim appears to befooling teh patients and collecting as much as possible without giving value for money.

                                    It appaers that Mr Trehan and Mr Sachdev has found a short cut in making hospital die slowly and ultimately closing down, because after so many complaints specifically about poor nursing infrastructure, but no corrective action taken.

                                    Mr Trehan forgets that right now he may be in business of monopoly but with such level of services, he cannt sustain long

                                      I made a payment of rs 27500 for pt scan for patient against patient id : mm00968344 through imps online transaction no.[protected] on 17th may & on the same time i checked with finance dept. They said they haven't received this amount in their given yes bank account as bank site was down at that time.
                                      So as suggested by their finance executive vibha thukral, i again paid same amount of rs 27500 at hospital through credit card. And she made a commitment that they can made the reversal soon if amount got cleared from yes bank.
                                      Anyway many verbal reminder given but no reversal made so they again told me to share the account details & ifsc code & refund will be released soon.
                                      I did the same but again after regular followup they are paying no attention for reversal.
                                      Kindly look into it.

                                        I visited Medanta Gurgaon for the treatment of my father. I started with Dr Ashok Vaid and later case was transferred to Dr Nagender Sharma for further treatment. On perusal of there website, there is no mention of any Dr Nagender Sharma on there site, as such the credentials of the Dr can not be verified by me. May I request you to direct the hospital to update the details of the doctor at the earliest.
