I have been asking for the claim from past 2 months but just I am getting the response to send documents related to it, I have sent all the documents related to claim to Medi assist office Bangalore by hand and also I got the receipt msg like Dear Shashikala, We acknowledge the receipt of your claim documents on 14/Oct/2020 14:06. Tracking Number for your reference is BLR01117501. From Medi assist office . But Thier is no any positive response .

    Cancellation of One Assist Membership
    I am a HDFC bank credit card holder . The bank has auto debited Rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 1725 without my concern on date:03/12/2020. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of Rs.1399/-

      Hi Team,

      I have been behind Mediassist Team to check on my claim status. I have sent all the relevant documents through courier but my bad i missed to mention my claim details post which i have sent a mail on the same as well.

      Whenever i called to check the status they place my call on hold and its getting disconnected. Im trying to reach their Team since March'2020.

      Also, for the mails which i send they close it as resolved without any solution.

      Earlier when i raised a complaint in this forum they contacted me and confirmed to solve the issue shortly and to bear with them due to this covid situation.

      Now they say that its an old claim.

      Kindly help me in getting my claim.

        In policy, intimation lodged time 48hours after hospitalization and I inform I.e. intimation to medi assist in 24 hours after hospitalization. But medi assist ins tpa not follow your terms and issue letter for late intimation.

        All phone number of medi assist switched off

          I have raised claim request with medi assist for my father's hospitalization.
          They asked me to upload the indoor case papers which hospital not ready to give it to the patient.

          So Hospital sent the required documents to medi assist via email. But medi assist is not ready to consider the cucumbers sent via email.

            My Wife has been admitted in the hospital on November 1st 2020 and discharged on November 5th 2020. During that time Mediassist did not approve my Cashless process even though the hospital sent for approval.(Have email proof).

            Then i have given my entire money from my pocket and discharged my wife.

            The next thing i cannot reimbursement my money because again they are intentionally blocking my spouse and dependent...

              I m lokeshappa s/o basanna hospitalised regarding corona claim no : 22871629 i am submitted all details hard copy new bill for deducted 9336/- rs as no ip bills[protected] The ip bill was given in detail by hospital was error in printing the[protected] ip consultation charge and oxygen charge bill was not printed. for that i am resubmitted the documents through professional courier no HPT573128 & they are deducted and 642/- the bill of mask is 462 check the bill it is wrong entry that mask is oxygen mask u should cover both deducted amounts under medical expenses under insurance clauses go through the new bills which i sent through courier re open the settled claim and process the deducted amount .

                This is regarding putting 30% of estimated bill intentionally in non payable section by medi assist, saying it "Initial Approval" . And because of it hospital asking us to pay these non payable in advance before getting admitted.

                Considering, it as cashless process, I did not expect this to happen.
                Cashless means no advance payment before getting admitted to hospital.

                  Hi,

                  Claim number:[protected]
                  This claim is cleared for payment. The back end team has wrongly updated the IFSC code for my bank account.
                  Its been more than 2 weeks i am trying to get the IFSC Code rectified for the bank account. The NEFT payment may get rejected in the current situation.
                  I am not getting any help from customer care or over mail. The IFSC code continue to remain wrong in the Medibuddy app.
                  I had resubmitted all required documents again, still no resolution.

                  There is no escalation matrix for mediassist to help with this on priority. Everytime i call customer care they ensure to take it up on priority. Need help here

                    I tried calling this team 5 times in a day the executive answer the calls listen for 2 minutes and hung up the call without Intimation and I did not receive any call after that it has been more than a month of registering a claim still there is no proper response

                    Such a worst experience

                      Hi Team,

                      I have admitted my wife in Billroth hospital Chennai on 01/11/2020 due to the Oxygen saturation level is low so we have admitted her on emergency.. On the same day i have enrolled my self and my family members as beneficiary in the portal successfully. But i could not download the E-Card as it is not generated. So the next day i have called the Mediassist people and they asked me to check with hospital to send the preauthorization form. And the hospital also sent the preauthorization form on 2/11/2020. My wife has been discharged today till now this Mediassist not approved my Initial approval also. Ihave paid the entire hospital amount from my pocket

                      I was in emergency this Mediassist openly cheating the people and sucking the blood of the common man. Now even i cannot reimburse my amount because my beneficiary name is not yet added. Out of complete frustration i am raising this issue.

                      I need to take this legally. Please somebody help.

                        I made a claim with medi assist insurance company and I submitted all the relevant documents but the hospital did not provide me with indoor case papers and treatment chart attested copy when I left Brahmaputra Diagnostic Hospitals Dibrugarh so when I went back to the hospital they said they are not allowed to give indoor case paper and treatment chart attested copy however they agreed to give it to the insurance company if they are contacted with when I conveyed the same to company they refused to contact and are asking same documents again and again despite clarifying situation several times.                             I am struggling to raise reimbursement claim due to various reasons as under. I have send multiple emails to dedicated email ID of Medibuddy for Honeywell and called more than 20 times without proper support.

                            1. Cannot see beneficiary details on portal.
                            2. Cannot download e-Cards.
                            3. Can not move ahead in submitting reimbursement as no name is appearing in drop down of patients.
                            4. My wife got discharge on 14th its 8 days but I can not put a claim.
                            5. I got feedback from customer care saying, I need to send complete file and claim form duly filled and signed to Bangalore address.
                            6. With digitization coming everywhere, I still don’t understand the reason for asking original file before claim submission.
                            7. I am ready to send original but at least someone should validate the documents and give me claim number.
                            8. What if documents misplaced, or any incomplete documents?

                            Irony is that healthcare provider asking me to take risk by going outside to take print and courier in this pandemic situation. Even if I take care still I will be exposed to risk. One more feedback is out of 3 hospitals I visited, no one was giving cashless service for Mediassist. Even with availability of Insurance I had to arrange Money.

                            Overall, instead of making life easy, Mediassist is adding more stress in the already panicked situation.

                                Last week[protected], I went to Mediassist branch - Aminjikarai, Chennai and handed over to all original documents in the Mediassist office.

                                I sent multiple mail and we discussed over telephone for this issue complaint, No one is responded properly to me.

                                    I have orient health insurance for which TPA is mediassist. My MAID is [protected]. TPA first didnt accept cashless service for my covid related hospitalisation. Now i have filed for reimbursement on 25/09/2020. However, i have not recieved any information on my claim no claim id has been provided. Customer care executive has no clue and they are delaying the process by asking me to wait for 2-3 days even after 21days of my request. I have policy for last 5years but customer care personal says that i have entered current year policy number while i should have entered last years policy number. When my policy coverage is continues and all the previous policy numbers are provided in the insurance itself is it really a valid reason to delay the claim who is already in trouble of covid related hospitalisation? All the complaints with token number- [protected] and [protected] gets only automated response. No efforts have been made by company inspite of my repeted calls.
