My micromax canvas infinity hs2 had been given for servicing for last 2 weeks for changing the charging board under warranty but after so many days i have not yet received my phone saying that the spare parts have not yet been received... The problem is i am going to kerala my hometown since my second semester is over and i am leaving for vacation... I don't have any other phone.
I want it by monday at any cost!

    Dear micromax team,
    I had a complaint against micromax servicing centre. I bought a micromax led tv few days ago but unfortunately after a week display got damage automatically. I raised a complaint for repair and my complaint reference number is [protected]. Til now i didn't get any response from micromax servicing team. One of the executive called me and i handover the tv to him and told me that it will took 7 days to replace but i have waited for a month. Til now i didn't get any solution from micromax servicing team

      This petition was taken for final hearing on 26.06.2018 by the party in person for the petitioner, and ex-parte for the opposite party as they did not come to the consumer forum for hearing, so the consumer forum decided to take it the party as ex-parte. So far the consumer forum reviewed the records and statements from trial of the case, the consumer forum has given its order as follows ;

      The petitioner purchased a television from the opposite party, had frequent repairs within the one year warranty period on the purchased tv set. So, the petitioner claimed a new television set or the equivalent amount of rs.33, 990/- the price of tv and compensation for mental agony, financial burden, un-wanted running from pillar to post and waste of time, due to this the petitioner was not able to purchase a new tv set, for this an amount of rs.15, 000/- and rs.3, 000/- for court expenses, (Altogether 51, 990/-) the petitioner seeking a claim of compensation under consumer protection act 1986, section-12, this petition has been filed.

      The abstract of the petition submitted by the petitioner

      The petitioner after his retirement from the service, he purchased a micromax tv 50b600hd, 127 cm (50 inches) m. E. Serial no.0044 bb 54287802 on 19.01.2016 through online purchase with the help of his son mr. A. Balavivekanandan for a total sum of rs.33, 990/-. But within four months of the purchase, the tv was functioning with only audio and no video output. After so many repeated phone calls made to free call centre for rectify the problem, they failed to respond. Hence, the petitioner’s son e-mailed made request to rectify the same on 04.06.2016, 08.06.2016 respectively. After this, the service staff from micromax service centre, tambaram came to my house and taken the tv for repair at their centre. After 15 days, on 25.06.2016 they handed over the tv by rectifying the problem. They charged rs.500/- for taking the tv for repair from my house to their tambaram tv service centre. Again, on 01.03.2017 the same tv got the same old problem, contacted them again for one and half months to rectify the same problem, the failed to attend the repair. On 12.04.2017, the technician from micromax service centre requested me to contact the mr. Irudhayaraj, manager about this.

      The petitioner then contacted mr. Irudhayaraj, manager on 21.04.2017, 02.05.2017, 14.05.2017 through e-mail. After so many repeated complaints, still it was not honoured and attended. A complaint was sent to the micromax head office on 15.06, 2017 to repair the tv. After receiving this complaint on 20.06.2017, they failed to respond for this. Again on 12.07.2017, a reminder was sent and it was received by them on 14.07.2017, again they failed to respond. The second reminder was sent on 07.09.2017, which was received on 09.09.2017 by them and response. Finally, on 13.11.2017, through the legal counsel, the petitioner sent a notice to the chairman of the micromax tv company. The 1st opposite party received this notice on 15.11.2017, he also failed to respond to this. The petitioner claims that the said purchased tv within the one year warranty period was not functioning well, requested for a brand new tv for the old one or refund of the bill amount of rs.33, 990/- from the 1st opposite party along with rs.15, 000/- for the service defect, mental agony, financial burden as compensation amount with rs.3, 000/- as legal charges for the case. Hence, the petitioner requested compensation by filing this case.

      2.in this case, the consumer forum sent a summon which was received by them, failed to appear in person for hearing, on 02.05.2018, the opposite party was declared as ex-parte by this forum.

      3. The proof of affidavit was submitted by the petitioner, a proof of documents no.1 to no.12 were submitted marked as exhibits. The petitioner also submitted the written arguments. On the basis of oral arguments and review of the documents/records submitted, this case was decided.

      4. The solution for the problem in this case as follows :-

      1) whether the 1st opposite party is liable for replacing a new tv or an equivalent amount of rs.33, 990/- to the petitioner?
      2) whether the opposite party is liable to pay a compensation of rs.15, 000/- for service defect and mental agony to the petitioner?

      3) whether the petitioner will get the case charges?
      4) what are the remedies will get the petitioner through this petition?

      5. Problems no.1 to 3
      The petitioner has filed this petition/complaint and the proof of affidavit submitted that he purchased a micromax tv with the help of his son mr. A. Balavivekanandan through online on 19.01.2016 and within four months from the purchase, the said tv mal-functioned. This was reported to the service centre, finally the micromax service centre, tambaram through their service engineer took the tv to their service centre, returned the tv after repairing the fault on 24.05.2016. Again the same problem occurred on 01.03.2017, after repeated request made through phone, finally on 2.04.2017, the service technician came from micromax service centre, tambaram, requested the petitioner to contact the manager of the service centre, tambaram. So, the petitioner contacted the said manager several times through e-mails, the petitioner sent several complaints to the 1st opposite party, the tv was not repaired or attended to rectify the problem. Hence, a new tv or the equivalent amount of the tv purchased as per bill and a compensation amount for mental agony, service defect an amount of rs.15, 000/- and an amount of rs.3, 000/- for case charges is being claimed by the petitioner.

      7. It is proven and confirmed that the petitioner has purchased a micromax tv 50b600hd, 127 cm (50 inches) m. E. Serial no.0044 bb 54287802 on 19.01.2016 through online purchase for a total sum of rs.33, 990/- as per the records and documents submitted. Further, the purchased tv mal-functioned within four months of purchase (Only audio was heared and no video available), the petitioner sent a complaint to rectify the fault. The 1st opposite party has received the complaint through e-mail on 04.06.2016. To prove this, the petitioner submitted the proof of evidence no.3 for this. Further, the petitioner has purchased the tv in january 2016, ever since 10.05.2016 the tv was not functioning well and he has identified the problems in the tv functioning and informed the same which was mentioned and submitted in proof of evidence no.3 by considering all this, the tv was mal-functioned with problems within the four months of the purchase date by the petitioner is understandable. After several complaints by phone and e-mails by the petitioner to rectify the fault, without doubt that the opposite party has failed to either respond in time or rectify the fault by service defect.

      8. The petitioner has sent a register letter on 15.06.2017 to the 1st opposite party, which is earmarked as proof of evidence no.5, and the mentioned details are as follows ;

      In may 2016 (After 4 months), the tv comes under repair and the picture quality was very poor and the matter was reported. Then suddenly the tv was incapable of showing the picture. My family was unhappy ever since. I register complaints over phone and currently sent the complaints with concern through e-mail, i attached copies of e-mail dated 4.6.2016 on 8.6.2016 (Encl-2 and encl-3). After prolonged complaints only the tv was made serviceable on 25.6.2016.
      Again on 1.3.2017 (After 9 months) the same problem occurs. I sent the complaint immediately. The chennai tambaram micromax service centre visited your retail outfit again and again.
      Finally after one and half months the micromax service centre technician (Chennai branch) helplessness and demanded for 85% cost of the tv to make serviceable. I sent three e-mail on 21.4.17, 21.5.17 and 16.5.17 (Encl.-4). To the chennai-tambaram service centre manager for inform me to the actual service charge till date (10.6.17), i did not get reply.
      At this juncture, i request you earnestly to replace the said micromax led tv. The same problem (Video problem) occurs from 4th month onwards till date. So that peace will prevail in my family. The untold mental agony and torture that i experienced is manifold. If you replace the with a new one or no other way go to expect to employ an advocate and approach the consumer court and get the job done. Again and again, i insist the fault is on the part of your company and i should not betray for it. Hence, please consider the genuiness of the consumer and replace another tv as a remedial measure within fifteen (15) days.

      9. The 1st opposite party received the letter, they failed to reply for it. It is earmarked as proof of evidence no.6, as the 1st opposite party received the letter. Further, the petitioner sent a letter on 6.7.2017 to the 1st opposite party, which was received by them. Again on 2.9.17, a letter was sent to the 1st opposite party, again no reply was sent for it. This was proven by the submitted proof of evidence no.7, 8, 9 and 10. Finally the petitioner through his legal counsel sent a legal notice on 11.12.2017 to the 1st opposite party which was received by them and no reply was sent by the 1st opposite party, the petitioner has filed this case in this

      Forum. Further, the opposite party has not appeared in person or produced any evidence in this forum for the denying the charges made.

      10. By reviewing all the documents submitted by the petitioner, the purchase of the tv product of the 1st opposite party was faulty within four months of the purchase date. After rectifying the problem, again the same problem occurred within 9 months, the petitioner reported the same several times, the repair was not attended. The 1st opposite party has made service defect by not rectifying the problem. The 1st opposite party created the situation of mental agony to the petitioner and it forced him to appeal this case in this forum. So, as per the petition filed, the petitioner is eligible for a replacement of new tv or an equivalent amount of rs.33, 990/- to be paid by the 1st opposite party to the petitioner on default. Also, the 1st opposite party is liable to pay compensation amount a sum of rs.10, 000/- to the petitioner for service defect and rs.3, 000/- as case charges to the petitioner as it deemed fit as the remedy for this case.

      11. Problem no.4
      Finally this petition is partially approved.in this case, the petitioner sought compensation from the 1st opposite party as either replacement of same model tv for the purchase of micromax tv 50b600hd, 127 cm (50 inches) m. E. Serial no.0044 bb 54287802 on 19.01.2016 through online or the equal amount of rs.33, 990/- (Rupees thirty three thousand nine hundred and ninety only) the value of the tv purchased as per bill may be given to the petitioner with an interest rate of 9% per annum from the date of filing this petition till the date of disbursement within two months from this date of judgement.

      The said micromax tv 50b600hd, 127 cm (50 inches) m. E. Serial no.0044 bb 54287802 on 19.01.2016 through online purchased has mal-functioned within a short time, the 1st opposite party has failed to rectify the fault or replacing the faulty tv with a new one and made service defect. Due to this, it created mental agony, loss of peace, it is awarded rs.10, 000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) as compensation to the petitioner by the 1st opposite party and rs.3, 000/- (Rupees three thousand only) as litigation/case charges, totally rs.13, 000/- (Rupees thirteen thousand only) to be paid by the 1st opposite party to the petitioner.       May be paid to the petitioner by the 1st opposite party within two months from this date of this judgement. If failed to pay the said amount (Rs.10, 000/- + rs.3, 000/- = rs.13, 000/-), the 1st opposite party should pay the entire amount with an interest rate of 9% from the date of judgement till the date of realization of amount.

      The case against the 2nd opposite party has been dismissed.

      For explanation, it was typed and corrected on 03rd july, 2018 by me and the judgement awarded.

        I am using micromax q4260 since 3 years. The problem is that i got only the launcher updates and never got a system update or security patch level. I love to use my mobile as it has a good features and launcher. I am requesting u to please give me an android update it is still 6.0 marshmallow. Many bugs are increased due to no update of android and security path. So please solve this problem, i wil assure that many of them will attract to your company.

            I Lost the mobile at a bus stop of Bhubaneswar, Odisha ...The two SIM s have been blocked by the operators on my request... please destroy the mobtile with its imei number [protected]..The model of the phone is canvas Knight A350...If the Mobile is made disfunctional, it can not be mis utilised by anyone who gets it...

              The TV is getting switched off in 10-30 seconds after switching on and then after some time gets auto switch on. The switch on and off cycle continues. Icons are getting displaced on the screen. Please suggest the remedy so that we can resume watching the Tv. The Tv is a little above a year old. I was so satisfied with the product that I have bought a bigger television at home and recommended to others too

                I purchased full hd 32 inch led tv from flipkart on 29 october 2016, sold by omnitechretail. The tv come up with a 5 year extended warranty as well. Till date it undergone 3 replacements and all together almost for a year we used it in faulty state, as each replacement takes long wait. Forget the past, we were waiting for past 5 months for the replacement after several calls and emails finally a service center which is almost 60 km far from my home town contacted me and ask to pay 1000 rs. For service charge and i need to pick it up from there service centre as well. I brought this to mmx and they said it's there policy, after one year they charge for there services and they wont do home delivery, customer need to pick it up from the service centre.

                My questions are:

                1. What is the point of extended warranty?
                2. It's already undergone 3 replacements, and expecting more replacements in future as well so why i need to spend my money for there fault.?
                3. Every 6 months 1000 rs. And trip to service center, do i participated in any contest during my purchase?

For repair my micromax e313 repair he charged me 100 rs for testing and dinot gave me recipient when i show notice board where charge is write only 50 rs if i will not repair my mobile then i have to give but i leave a mobile there go repair they can't repair that device and take charged my mobile give me break software after he says if i want repair my software i have pay more than 250 rs.
                    Sir please remove this type employees they will cheat always customers. Please take action your company is good but your service centre employees are not better.

                      My new 50 inch smart tv yuphoria hangs and the service center ce best service center andheri west mumbai, is unable to resolve my issue and micromax customercare has no followup to my complaint past 2 months. I have no clue who to address my issue, no one is listening, i am feeling cheated. Request no [protected] again has been created but so far no response. I have 40 mbps speed internet cable and wifi both.

                        Unknown ads are showing continuously and unwanted ads are automatically installing in my phone. Not any solution which i have tried, doesn't give solution. Ads personalisation, privacy settings, even mobile software updation doesn't give me any solution.
                        What to do now?

It has already paseed 26 days still no progress for repair. My references has been allotted to your service centre ce - shree services, mumbai. When i called service centre, they replied that they are waiting for part of tv and its delayed from company side. After that i send a mail to company regarding this issues (Ticket no. 986053) then company did not contact me regarding this. Till the date no technician has been come to my home for visit.                             I got an issue of power supply issue which is resolved but they have destroyed my device microphone. Due to which i can't use that device anymore for only calling purpose and all the other functionalities of that device is working fine. The device is unusable due to that issue only. The name of micromax service centre is lk smart care, pimpri where they have told me that the microphone chip of that mobile is not available in market. So, please register a complaint against this issue and help me by resolving this issue as soon as possible. Still, didn't get any response.

                              My handest micromax e453, has slow charging problem, i went to micromax care (New global media) gorakhpur for repairing, they message me jobsheet no[protected]r, bill370 for this. But i went to collect my handset, they charge, 1520rs on manual biil for this, my handset has still same problem. Problem of my handset is not resolved yet. Many time i contact to customers care, micromax care. But no sollution is there. Only they told your handset is repaired after three four days. But after one month no repairing is done. Many time i wrote at this forum also but no sollution yet. Kindly take necessary action. I am feeling mentally, economically, physically harassed. Pls do the needful

                                I have purchased 43 inches micromax full HD on flipkart 12 Oct 17. I wanted Indian brand and purchased Micromax. HD Quality is very much good am totally happy with Micromax TV and I suggested to my friends, neighbours and colleagues. I have done mouth publicity because I am very much happy with HD quality and brand. But suddenly after 1 year 3months that is From 25th Jan 19 display not working and only audio working. I have raised a complaint on 25th itself and assigned an engineer on 28th. On 29th eve engineer came and he checked TV and told that you have to replace display and display completely gone and also told that it costs around 75% of TV cost and he charged 300 rs for visit. Whether Micromax tv will work only 1yr? Am totally upset and it causing very much mental agony. Total a waste of my 23000rs. I cant afford 75% of TV cost within 1yr 3 months. Am fed up with this micromax and their services. Consumer complaints are more with same TV. Model no. 42R7227FHD/2017. Kindly take an action so that who is going to purchase the same brand TV atleast they wont face this kind of mental agony.

                                  I purchased the tv 43 inches in oct 2017, in jan 2019 the display is complete blank (It's like dead). So the micromax support came and told that screen needs to replace which is around 75% of the product cost. Is micromax tvs will work up to warranty only or micromax is using cheap quality displays? Micromax needs to answer. The cost of tv is 23000 indian rupees.

                                    I had purchased micromax spark 4g phone last year and it is under warrenty till now. My phone was not working and got switched off time and again so i visited to service center. They did something and my phone got on but not properly still it is getting off again and again but i didnt go to center again. After sometime my got off and its not working so i went to center but this time instead of my phone they give me damaged piece and when i asked them about my phone they told me that its not there fault if i want good piece then it will take time and i have to wait for to get my own phone i said ok but i didnt argue and took that piece only again after sometime same problem happened and that same phone is also creating same problem for me but this time phone's screen got damaged and i went to center and they were saying it is not covered under warrenty once phone got damaged, for saying this they took almost one month. And they did nothing i went to them minimum 4-5 times and they told me this. Then i asked them how much i have to pay to get my phone on they told me[protected] for this again they took 10 days and told me that motherboard is damaged i said okk i didnt want to get my phone on please return it to me so that i can go to some other place but they didnt return it they told me your phone got misplaced come after 1 day and like this they did so many times and after waiting so long i got phone finally and its surprising for me because this time that service center told me that now you have to pay only 1100 because phone's ic is not working and without my permission he on my phone and asking money, so i told him that i didnt ask you to on my phone, i just asked to return my phone then he told me ok i will give you but if you will come next time then i will charge you 800 more for damaging my ic (This was words of that service center person) i said okk. And he intentinally damaged my phone. And that service center put ic without my permission and damaged my phone intentionally for making my phone same as it was previousally
                                    Then i complaint to micromax. I mail them 3-4 times, i called them so many but no one is responding. As mentioned in computer generated mail i wait for 24 hour but i didnt get any mail and respond. Again i tried and called them this time my phone connected and i asked to transfer my call to senior head they told me that it will take 24 hour i said ok but same here i didnt get any call. Again i called them and said if they didnt transfer my call then i will compain somewhereelse now they call me and that senior person took service center side and told me that only one thing its my fault and i have to pay amount. Because warrenty is not there once phone got damaged but he didnt listen to me. I know that as per terms and conditions. Service center took time. And if phone got physically damaged then no warrenty will work.
                                    My complaint is for few thing -
                                    1) service give me damaged piece and when i asked him, then he is asking so much time. If i follow terms (Its not in terms and conditions) to get my own i have to wait, even if its not my mistake.
                                    2) that service center is asking more money and he didnt know anything as i mentioned he was saying motherboard is not working and then he told that ic is not working. Then its clear that he just want to take money from me.
                                    3) customer care is talking about terms and conditions everytime and i agreed with this but they were not following the same thing and they didnt reply me within prescribed time limit.
                                    4) service center took my phone's parts when i gave them my phone and now its not getting on. I went to other place for rechecking my phone, then i come to know that some parts were missing and now my phone will not work. And as i mentioned above service center told me about motherboard and ic, same thing i told to other person where i gave my phone and he told me that no he did something with my phone and its got fully damaged.
                                    5) without my permission service center did something with my phone i didnt asking him to repair my phone but he did and when i asked him he intentionally damaged my phone.

Phir maine customer toll free number per call kiya. Phir 3-4 din baad service wale aaye dekh kar chale gaye us par koi acton nahi liya gaya main call karta raha per koi fayda nahi main 20 din tak call kiya lekin koi jawaab nahi mila. Uske baad maine 2 month baad dubara call kiya tool free num per. Phir aaye dekh kar chale gaye. Phir wohi same process. Ab mere tv ka display bhi kharab ho gaya hai. Toll free num per call kiya. Service wale aaye dekh kar chale gaye. Phir wohi same process. Sir main pareshan ho gaya hoon. Sochta hoon kyun tv liya afsoos hota hai. Ab to dheere dheree guarantee bhi end ho rahi hai iska khuch samadhan nikaliye sir

                                        I have a micromax canvas 2 q 4310 smart phone. Till last some days the flash is not working. From yesterday onwards back camera stopped working. The front camera is seems to be upside down. The phone is verymuch getting heated up when i am using that one. I have restored once to resolve this. It has warranty, whether it is a software issue or hardware? How can i resolve this problem?
