I had purchased a Micromax Unite A092 Smart Phone on 15/07/2014 (IMEI No. [protected]; Battery No. [protected]; Charger No. 23138) from a local Vendor. This was the first Micromax product I had purchased. And now it seems to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
Right from the very start, the mobile needed charge in every 3-3.5 hours. I immediately contacted the vendor regarding this, he said me to observe the same for 1 more week. When the problem persisted, he said me to approach the service centre. I went to the service centre on 5th August. The micromax service centre said me that there is some problem, but they cannot replace the handset which could be done in the first week after sale only.They took the handset and asked me to contact after 15 days. After 15 days, they said that the problem has not yet been resolved and some part needed to be replaced. After repeated follow-ups, I got the handset back after around 1 month.
But even after that, the problem persisted and so I again contacted them on 28/10/2014. They checked and said that the battery is to be replaced. They took the battery and gave me a receipt (Job Sheet No. E[protected] dtd: 28/10/2014) and asked me to contact after 15 days. When I contacted them on 12th Nov, they said to come after 5 days. When I went today, they are now asking me to come again after 3 days on Thursday.
Please look into the matter as urgent and provided me an instant replacement of the phone. I had already bore a lot of problems relating to the handset, to the extent that I am deeply frustrated with Micromax. If I dont get a prompt response and an instant replacement, I will loose my trust for Micromax and wont ever buy a Micromax product.
