Details I wish to submit as follows:
1. I Purchased YU Yutopia YU5050 serial number [protected], on Jan 20th, 2016 from Amazon at the price of 24999/-. I was interested in High end phone, I found the specifications quite attractive and matching my requirement.
2. Despite spending huge cost, I couldn’t’ get basics function working at satisfactory level.
3. After using few months, I found it was having problem with Hearing and mike. The voice was not clear at both the ends. Moreover, the camera clarity was poor. I went to the Micromax Service Center, (Luxmi Communication, Phase 2, Mohali) on[protected]. They couldn’t fix the problem and kept the phone for 15 days.
4. Again after 2 months I started getting problem in the phone. It was giving excessive heating issue and also volume key was not working. I again visited service center on[protected] and requested the service center to fix the problem and they updated the software and told me that to fix the volume key button I need to give the phone to them for 25 days. However, they told me that they have fixed heating issue. I again asked for alternative phone for this period but again no phone was provided to me. So I kept the phone.
5. But the phone didn’t work satisfactorily, in few weeks it started getting switched off automatically. The battery would drop from 70-80% to 15% and then suddenly phone would turn off. The phone was having heating issue, battery drainage, volume key not working and was getting switched off again and again. Many a times phone got hanged. I have again submitted the phone to the service center and again they have kept the phone for about 40 days to fix it.
6. No alternative phone was provided to me whenever they kept the phone
for service.
7. Again , when they replaced the phone, after sometime, since December month it started giving problems of getting switched off without any warning, battery drainage etc.
8. I hope you must have understood plight of the customer who has spend 25000/- and again and again facing serious issues. From the series of problems I faced with this phone, it is very much clear that phone is of poor quality and it have serious issues which is leading to dysfunction of the device. This has given very much inconvenience to me despite spending huge amount.
9. Company has discontinued the phone for the reasons best known to them. And their legal department is giving me Yunicorn phone worth Rs 10000/- in the replacement.
Therefore, I humbly requesting them to refund my money
Micromax Informatics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Care saying that there is whole damage of motherboard and motherboard is not going to work which is impossible
So I expect from u that u will take strict action on this
