Dear Sir I want to take your attention towards Nehru Nagar (Kural East). Since long long time the footpath has been captured by shopkeepers. The extended their shops from both the side (back and front). People have to walk on street as no choice. There is one construction coming near Kurla (E) station. The builder block footpath by making fencing near auto stand. If you see the road was totally block by autos and there is no place to walk for the people. Please do clear this mess. And make sure that concern depart visit regularly their and take notice if anything new illegal thing arise. Thanks

Dear Sir/Mam, Since 5 days, BMC workers have dug almost 3 to 4 feet broad for a sewage line and its very difficult for everyone to move from the house. Inspite of requesting the BMC workers to lay a ply or something they have overlooked the matter. 2 to 3 people have narrowly escaped falling in the ditch. We are residing in 44, D-5, S.V.P. Nagar, Mhada, Andheri (West). Kindly solve this problem as soon as possible. Thanks & Regards. Bharat Sadhwani

Hi, I want to request the BMC to repair the road on Upper Govind Nagar, Kailashpuri in Malad East urgently. THere are huge potholes even so many months after the rains. It has created severe back problems. The road needs to be repaired urgently. Rickshaws refuse to come to this area because of the road conditions and it has become really difficult to walk or pass from this road. Request you to please look into this on a urgent and priority basis.

There is a huge unauthorised speed breaker which has come up since the last few days on Nanda Patkar Road Extention in front of Vasant Smruti building, Vile Parle (east), This is behind the Telepnone exchange. Vehicles find it very difficult to negotiate this speed breaker. In the night due to improper lights, it is difficult to spot the speed breaker and due to which vehicle gets a huge bump. Will appreciate it this speed breaker is removed.

          Hi,
I am travelling to my office via JVLR . The road from Seepz to L&T Powai is in very bad condition. Every day it took 45 minutes to cross that small distance.

The road is full of potholes, mud & stones. It is very difficult to even walk on that road. Whenever it rains there is also water logging on the road.

We are facing difficulty to reach office on time due to this bad road condition.

Please repair this road (Seepz to L&T) as soon as possible.

BMC — Drainage Lids are open/broken on Military Road

I am a resident of Military Road, Marol, Andheri (E). During the recent road construction, there are many drainage lids which are broken/kept open. This has been unattened since almost 4-5 months.

Can someone resolve it immediately as the monsoons are approaching.

road — very very bad condition of road

In ganesh nagar, bagbera, jamshedpur, jharkhand Narega project was started to construct the road but the contractor has left the work in between from 5 months he had putted mud and stones in road and left it.The condition of road is very bad vechiles cannot move on the road they have to come from road side.I dont know why govt. has started the road work if they had to leve it in between. Many people are suffering from this problem so plz plz help i'll be very glad.

          BMC — Dangerous road conditions

the condition of the road (locking tiles) on Highway at junction of malad subway (dutta mandir road) towards Kandivali has become very pathetic. A layer of locking tiles have gone down creating a dangerous patch.

This patch is not visible to drives during early mornings (when low traffic) thereby causing serious damage to vehicles. Also this is a major reason for traffic jam during peak traffic hours, this as well amount to wastage of time, money and importantly fuel

It seems the munciple corporation has closed their eyes. This is just one of the case where simple precautions can save a lot of time, money and fuel

BMC — Road in a bad condition

hi we travel everyday fron ANdheri to Jogeshwari. there is a road which is called agrawal estate which is absolutely in a bad condition inspite of being a connecting road to jogeshwari station. why is it not been attended?? the rickshaw walas refuse to take that road and take us from a longer route which is more time consuming as well as more money. i sincerely request the bmc to look into this and repair that road asap

                Hi,
I am a resident of Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The number of street dogs is increasing day by day.
Its not just in Kharghar but also in Belapur, Nerul, Juinagar, Sanpada and Vashi.
There are around 20 dogs near daily bazar, sector 20 in kharghar.

I dont know who or where to intimate government authorities to take action about it.
Hoping the issue will be addressed soon.

                Regards,

A small group of 2-3 people started this in Jan 2013. They selected a BMC planted tree and started offering Puja. Slowly they began to encroach the space around it; first a small space and then slowly they went on increasing the space. In a matter of 2 months they have managed to concrete the base, tile part of it, erected flags fixed to ground, etc. They even held a large public Puja and laid out chairs, etc on the road, with lights, etc. It is understood that they will build a temple here soon. Complaints to BMC and Police have gone unheard/unattended. If such things are not removed at an early stage, BMC ill never be able to remove this once it becomes a temple.

All this is happening in front of Morya Classic/Dheeraj Gaurav Heights, on the lane opposite Infiniti Mall in Andheri West.

I would like to bring your kind attention on the problem being faced by residents of Varsha Building and Duttapada as a whole.
There are numerous street dogs in this vicinity. After 12:00 am when the traffic of vehicles and people become very little the dogs come out in packs. The bark, chase and pounce on any one walking alone. Even the slightest movements of your arm or the slightest sound of your shoes on the road irritate them and they begin to chase you. Even the regulars are not spared.
It is very scary to walk among these animals. Let me know as to how we as residents of Duttapada can work with the BMC to get rid of this menace.
This is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and give us a resolution.

We are the residents of Liberty Garden, MALAD (W) and we stay just near to the BMC P Ward (NORTH) office and its water tank is built just opposite our building & there's some amount of bare land behind wherein there's always water tankers are parked illegally day in & day out which as per rule, they are not supposed to park & only park where they have been alloted space; but the BMC officials are least bothered about this fact, the tankers who come for filling water from the tank, come during any part of the day / night without any prior permisssion; especially during afternoon time & night between 12 & 4 am & cause lot of nuisance to the residents like us who stay quite close to the destination.
                      2) The bare land is almost become like a Dumping Ground of BMC, which actually it is not & there are 'n' no. of items / stuff just dumped there with no hold of any higher authority causing in bad hygiene & also rise in mosquitos & other stuff.
                      3) the BMC contractors have set up their offices right behind the land & they operate their cranes / vehicles during any time of the day causing lot of noise & disturbance to us; literally we are facing lot of problems residing there,
We have done lot of verbal complaints / written communication to the BMC office, but every time we are just assured that these all will be taken care, but nothing of this has ever happened; we are really fed up with all these being happening day in & day out of late..
Requet to kindly look into this matter asap

I reside in kanjurmarg east. The BMC has been dumping garbage near eastern express highway. Although BMC claims that the garbage is being treated, there's stench emancipating from the dump all times. During rains, its worse. Its so unhygenic also. It can lead to lot many diseases. The after effect of the dump on the resident's health may be seen some time later in our lives. Does the BMC have plans to wait till then? its like our governement has no values for human life, that's why the garbage dump is near residential areas. The stench also comes in the internal roads during rains.

This is regarding garbage dumping by BMC near residential areas. BMC claims that the garbage dumped there is being traeted. But to bring to everybody's notice, there's stench emancipating from this place during evenings. Its worst during rains. Garbage dumping near residential sites could also affect the health of the people staying nearby. This shows that Human life is not at all a concern to the officials. I would also like to know on what basis have the Officials decided on Kanjurmarg as the dumping site.

Recently, the pavement between Arogya Nidhi Hospital & Natural Ice Creams at 13th Road, Juhu Scheme, Mumbai... has been completely taken over by illegal food stalls, illegal shop extensions, & the like

No one seems to care... BMC & cops are, of course, turning a complete blind eye to this very convreniently

                          Respected Sir,

This with regards to my Dad MR Subhash Kaugoli Pension which he was receiving after my mothers death. She was a teacher in BMC. She passed away on 9th Aug'2000. My father is receiving a pension of only 2418Rs per month. However the amount what he is getting from BMC is less.. As per revised pension scheme he should receive more than RS.5000. When made a complain at VT Head Office they sent a letter stating that he is working somewhere and has other source of income. My father is 65 years old & he is not working anywhere past 10 years.
Kindly help cause we dont know how to solve this issue as people at BMC are just fooling us by sending him from one table to another saying it will done & its more than year now that this matter haven't be resolved.

                          Regards,
                          Saumya Kaugoli

We are experiencing acute Municipal Water Supply to our society at the above address for nearly a month. Although ours is a small society and members permanently staying in the building are also very less still almost every alternate day we have to call water tanker which is costing heavily.
We shall be glad if you will please look into the matter and check the water line if required.

I am writing this letter on the behalf of all the people who are facing problem of overflow of gutters running parallel to the Empire Plaza building, L.B.S Marg, Gandhi Nagar, Vikhroli West Mumbai 400079.
It is very difficult to pass from this area because of the dirt and filth and the gutter water which flows towards the main road and all the passerby has to go from this dirty and stinking water. People urinate in the open out here which further adds to the menace.

I earnestly request the concerned authorities to solve this drainage issue on priority as in the monsoons this problem aggravates.

                              Thanking you,

                                Dear Sir,

This is in regards to the water supply of Municipal Corporation from last FEW weeks the TASTE OF WATER is not good it makes us feel like BURNING our internal body system. We understand the shortage of Rainwater, but at the same time BMC has to take extra care and precaution for WATER supply as it is the daily necessity for human body. And if the same is not available in good condition definetely this affects to human body and leads to diseases and health related problems.. We have noticed this in last few days some of our societies Elders and young children are being affected possibly due to the water change.

Kindly look into this at PRIORITY and needful action on immediate basis will be highly appreciable..

                                Thanking you,

                                  Sir,

I have a Birth certificate registered with K/West ward, BMC. All information on the Birth certificate are correct. However, the names of my parents appear with their Initials and surname.

I have visited the ward office on several occasions for getting the initials of names expanded. However, I am asked to bring proof before my date of birth. There is only one documents that I can provide, that is the marriage certificate. All other documents mentioned in the list are either not available or they were not in force prior to my birth in 1970. Both my parents have long expired and there appears to be no way out.

Can some one please guide or help me out of this strange documentary problem. Can I give an affidavit and then publish in the State Gazette, will it be acceptable by the BMC.

                                  Thanks

                                  Mr. Misquita

This is in regards with the problems our society people are facing from stray dogs (8 nos).

The following incidents have already occurred
                                    1. Barking regularly during night hours
                                    2. Biting children while they are playing and also elder people.
                                    3. Regularly making the ground, stairs and passages dirty.
                                    4. Difficult to enter the building during late hours. All dogs pounce on us.
                                    5. One of them gave birth to 8 pubs, just at the entrance of one of our wings. This created havoc and she allowed none o[censored]s to come near it. As a result we had to climb all the way from another wing to reach our house.

BMC and Private vans have come and just gave them some injections for Nasbandi. How can someone help us to solve this issue.
This is really serious, if ignored many of them might face the consequences through illness or their bitting.

Request you to look into this matter at the earliest and help us get rid of the stray dogs

                                    Thanks in advance

I am a resident of Murli Mahal CHS at 3rd Road Khar West, Mumbai 400052.
In a our society a member residing at flat Number 16 gets a stray dog at her home & feeds him regularly. This has created a great amount of nuicance as the dog walks up the staircase at odd hours, he has even bitten a couple of members & continously barks. Inspite of regular complaints the Secretary & Managing Committee have not done anything. Yesterday night the dog pounced on my wife & 5 year old child.

I seek your support to urgently take some action.

It has been observed for many years that there are many many ( about 20-25 trucks) BMC's garbage carrying contractor's trucks are parked at Barrister Nath Pai Marg, Reay Road (W), Near Reay Rd Railway station, Mumbai-400010 which are of highly nuisance creators. These trucks are parked illegally on the main road causing obstruction to traffic, spreading staunching smell in the area and creating mess. It is really unbearable to stay in this part of the Mumbai. They are double parking the trucks, repairing their trucks, unloading and loading garbage, obstructing the pedestrian and breaking all types of laws. Obviously Mumbai's RTO police is hand in gloves with this contractor as just opposite of the road they catch the vehicles breaking the signal lights and right before their eyes they neglect the illegally double parked, repairing trucks! It is believed that this contractor's regular hapta goes to their pocket and this authority just fines them token to show the record! I have the pictures of these but not able to load them.

I have observed that there are many manholes which are lying open or broken.I think before the rain starts they should be covered to avoid any casualty. There is one on 7th road khar opposite Khatwari darbar.request BMC to look into it immediately.

There are severall manholes kept open on the footpath at Jaycoach- right outside SRPF Camp at GOREGAON EAST -HIGHWAY. This needs urgent attention as due to bus stops which are located on the same footpath there is constant stream of people walking in both directions. Please get these attended immediately as it is quite possible that people might fall in the open manholes.

BMC — Open Manholes at Jay coach

There are several Open manholes on the footpath just outside SRPF Camp at Jay coach -W.E.Highway, goregaon east. These manholes are quite risky as there is always constant stream of people walking in both directions. There are bus stops on the same highway and people are always in a hurry to catch the bus etc..... These manholes are kept open for last 15-20 days and are quite dangerous. Could anyone please attend to this immediately?
I am surprised tha tthe complaint is closed without taking any action.

I came across a manhole just infront of Hyatt Regency, Andheri(E) Sahar Int'l Airport road in the footpath, small portion of its lid was cut out from it, small enough to take in any pedestrians leg if overlooked. It has been in that state for quite few months and only yesterday dtd 27July 2012 I realised how fatal it could be when I helplessly watched a crow unable to fly fell into that hole.Request BMC to look into this
