WE, THE RESIDENTS OF PLOT NO. 28 & 29, SHIVAJI NAGAR, GOVANDI, ROAD NO. 4, MUMBAI - 43, FACING WATER PROBLEM SINCE LAST 10 YEARS. IN THIS REGARDS, WE MET SEVERAL TIMES OUR AREA'S HYDRO ENGINEER, OF M WARD MUNICIPAL OFFICE IN CHEMBUR. BUT SO FAR NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
SIR, THE FUNNY THING IS, THEY KNEW THAT THERE IS NO WATER SUPPLY IN OUR AREA SINCE LAST 10 YEARS, BUT WE GET WATER BILLS REGULARLY ON TIME. NOT A SINGLE MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE VISIT OUR AREA TO CHECK THE WATER METER, THEY JUST SEND THE BILLS OF THERE CHOICE. ABOUT THESE BILLS, WE BROUGHT NOTICE TO THE HYDRO ENGINEER AND ACCOUNTS DEPT; TO OUR AREA'S MLA, MP & CONSULER. THEY ALL KNOWS OUR PROBLEM AND WATER BILLS MATTER, BUT NO ONE TRYING TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS.

on 11th August 2009 I has applied ONLINE for 3 copies of birth certificates of my daugher and had paid Rs 77/- for that. The amount had been deducted from my bank account, but I have not yet received the certificates. Regarding the same I have complained thrice to the internet section of BMC(Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai), but there is no response at all. I have all documentary proofs in support of my application and complains. Can I expect some practical help from you ?

I request you to change plan of[protected] to BMC-199 plan. so that both of my Vodafove connections will be under Corporate -BMC 199 Plan.

Myself Vinayak staying at Chirabazar in south mumbai. I have problem with BMC's service. I am facing problem regarding water supply. my water supply is very less. I comlained so many times they came & checked the force in the pipeline & they said it is less. Then they asked us to wait for few more days after that they will do something about it but nothing has happened after 10 days they asked us to go to some another office. they are harrasing us since last more then a year. Please give me an advice what should i do.

Every year it rains heavily in Mumbai and every year we come across the same kinds of problems. What is all this? Why government can not take enough actions, learning from the past mistakes? Why are we electing them for?

I live in Lokhandwala, Andheri West (main lokhandwala), I am staying in the 2nd Cross lane. All the socities in my area are facing an acute water shortage.

Any property in this area ranges from minimum Rs.50 lacs to over 2 crores.

Members of all the socities approached BMC, which said that they are supplying water that was initially allocated to Lokhandwala and that 3 times the population is currently staying here.

In that case why did BMC give clearance to newer projects just to name a few ( Oberio builders projects, Evershine projects ...the list goes on) .

If BMC is giving less than 1 hour of water supply to main Lokhandwala should newer construction be allowed in Lokhandwala.

We feel cheated that after paying such huge prices for flats in Lokhandwala, Andheri (W) we are getting lesser BMC water than people living in Mira Road .

I am resident of bld no 89, Nehru nagar, kurla(east), mumbai since last 28 years.and have been puting complaints to BMC, mumbai for last one year for illigal hutments but L ward officers are not taking action. they are using illigal eectricity connection, illigal pipeline and cause lot of problem in near area. and day by day these huts are increasing near this pipeline. kindly guide me in this regard, i really feel helpless. there is no law in this country. anyone is coming and doing anything here. and we are just spectator.

Hello,
There is a contruction work going on opposite Dwell Inn in IC colony. I am not sure who has autherized that work. The digging on that road apparently has caused a damage to the Water Pipe. Every night there is water coming out of the digging area and the enitire streach of road gets wet. The amount of water that is getting wasted is a LOT.

Please look into this

Yesterday on 21.01.09, i was taking a pc and monitor from a nationalied bank's branch at khopoli to thane. i am employee of the said bank hence i decided to carry it by my own car from khopoli to thane alongwith a delivery letter duly signed by the branch manager of the khopoli branch.

While at airoli, i decided to pass thru airoli creek bridge and to go to wagle ind. estate, thane via mulund (e) as this is shortest and fastest route to thane. i paid toll at creek bridge but at the end of the bridge, bmc octroi officials stopped me to pay octroi on used faulty pc. i showed a letter of the branch manager, khopoli written to the regional manager at thane for getting that pc repaired by their office.

But the bmc octroi officials raised an objection to pass thru mulund to thane (as mulund is under bmc). i enquired about escort, but he said that "it is a long process and you will have to fill some form no.18 or so, instead you should return & go via kalwa" and disallowed to enter in the bmc area.
Ultimately, i took u turn, again paid toll on creek and returned to thane via kalwa.

Now, my querry is...
1. whether it is compulsory to go via kalwa eventhough my article does not attract any octroi or so?
2. am i not allowed to enter bmc with non commercial items.
3. what is so called 'long procedure' of filling-up of form no.18 or whatever for escort, if applicable.
4. what if i would be required to pick-up my engineer at mulund (e)? again to go to mulund from thane?
5. whether the concerned octroi official had exploited me?

My name is Rahul Shende. I want to register a strong complaint againt the the people who are drilling the road in the night time in my residencial area which is considered under a silence zone too.
Recently from past few months some people come at night time at around 11 and start drilling the road with huge drillers which add to high volume causing me and my family which consists of my parent who are both 50 plus and a medical patient too off our sleep. i have gone through the website for human rights and have come to know that these people cannot do any construction work in the night time in a residencial area with any instrument which causes noice more than 50db. Same was told to me when i spoke to a few NGO's and told to me themself by the muncipal authorities as well by the police. but when i rigestired a complaint againt them to the police these people got know that i have reported it n they threatened me n my family saying that they will put me and my family in jail if i did that the next time and also challenged me that they will continue do their work in the night only, and also said that the local senior inspector is his friend and they will make me pay for this.
Now i and my family is determined to take strong steps againts them so i need your help for this.
I just want to follow the laws the law only says that they cannot work so i dont think that i am doing something wrong in protesting againt them

We have contacted our local corporater also who also pays no attention to our complaint The road is in such bad condition that we have to change our car shock abbsober every quarterly.

Chidren have been falling on this un even road and there is no response from any one to reapir the road
