Agnishamandal CHS, (fire brigade) opp. BMC M-East Ward office (new office), Sector-2, Deonar Colony, Govandi (West).

For the past 3 years, supply of water is so poor. Every time there are false promises, but not a single BMC Corporator is able to resolve.

Staying in BMC colony, its very miserable & pathetic to say this there is no water.

We hardly get one hour supply in the morning, with low pressure.

How does BMC expect us to survive??

I am residing at "Siddhesh Darshan", Khetwadi Main Road, Girgaum, Mumbai. For almost the whole of Diwali week rotting garbage has been dumped outside our building premises. During diwali we are supposed to welcome goddess lakshmi with a well lit and clean environment but unfortunately here everyone is welcomed with a huge heap of rotting garbage and dirty drainage water. The BMC has been ignoring this and no action to clear this garbage has been taken for almost a week now. We kindly request you to address the same and take some corrective action.

    Regards,

      Dear Sir
I stay in Punjabi chawl Opp Shangrilla Biscuts L.B.S Marg Bhandup Mumbai 78. In the Month of April there came a small scanty house on and above the nalla. Now they have also procured the electricity connection. I dont know from where the drainage will pass if at all it gets choked. we have complained several times to the S ward authorities but till now nothing has happened. similarly they have also build a bridge above the nalla which stretches approx 100 Mtrs with no opening in middle. Hence no cleaning of the Nalla has happened for the past years.
I do think S ward officers are not corrupt and we would definitely find a solutions.

      Dear Sir,

i stay in Mumbai, my wife's paternal house was about to collapse so we gave it to builder as my father in law was still living there since i bought him to my home, we gave the house to be built to builder since we didn't have the money, we agreed to give him the 50% share of the land and for more than 4 years he didn't build the house but managed to built 2 small houses adjacent to each, later proposed us that he will give 40lacs for the entire property which is actually less according to the current value still we agreed, he gave us 5 lacs and took signatures from my father in law on the agreement where its clearly mentioned the amount of 40 lacs will be payed in parts, now he has put two families in that house without our consent and haven't payed us the amount we are begging him for our money or to give our land back but he is not interested its been 3 yrs now we still have no signs of getting anything, current value of the place is more than a crore, its situated near Marol fire brigade, Mumbai India, please contact us on [protected] or email at granvel.[protected]@tcs.com

We are residing in a ground floor flat 24A, Siddhagiri, 18A Road, Khar west, since last 25++ years. It’s a paghdi flat.
The building is in URGENT need of redevelopment. Landlord M. Pawar is not listening to us. We have asked him several times to do something urgently.
Landlord is not doing anything about this. I have put complain to BMC at Bandra but no result. Can you please help us?
Some of major problems with the building are.
          - Water seepage from all walls. Spoiling furniture, flooring and creates dampness in all rooms which causes sickness. All furniture are in state of replacement as they have become damaged due to water coming in from all walls resulting in loss of clothes as well furniture as a whole
          - Foundation becomes weak. We did all 4 side walls of ground floor with new plastering, engineer had inspected and said, total foundation is weak and this job is of temporary time. We need to do redevelopment.
          - External walls of structure are weak. Lots of cracks in wall and structure are very weak. We fear it may collapse anytime.
Landlord is not willing to let us sell our flat and move out. He will not undertake redevelopment. He will not take other builders offer. He is being very adamant about his way of thinking. We are scared of our life. We can replace furniture and clothes at high cost but cannot replace lost life.
I have series of photographs taken over years to prove our case. Can you please help us???

            Hello Sir,

I reside in Bandra west, Chimbai. We have called BMC ample number of time to clean of the sewage overflow in our area. This issue has been chased from July 2011. The BMC officer did visit our area 3 days back and promised that he would get the drainage cleaned however there has been no action on the same.
Just outside our house there is stagnant water with floating in it. This is unbearable as it stinks and causes various sicknesses for people staying in the surrounding. It has started getting worst with rain water getting added and increasing the volume of this stagnant water.
Can someone help us before we die with this disgusting situation?

Address: Chimbai, Bandra west, Mumbai 400050 (plot no. 245). Next to Dilkhush apts.

              Hi Friends,

this is what my experience with Schnieder Electric, Bangalore offc.
They interviewed me for almonst 40days and conducted 3 client rounds followed by 1 IT Head round and 2 conversation with HR team. Finally they asked 1 technical person for further interview.
That guy was not so good tecnicallly, and was not able to remember the technical terms properly. It was a new BMC product setup for Schnieder Electric and he was the only resouce working over there. he was almost 1 yr less experience than me.
the interview went on for 2 hrs and that guy didn't even agreed with a single answer from myside. As per my answers, i am quite confident and straigh to the point, but the technical guy was just diverting me from my profile and his questions came out of my profiles scope.
Finally i told him directly, that you are not sticking to my profile and if this goes on, then it will be difficult for me to carry further with u. Then he started humilating me as if he is the one and only head of the team, he said he will stick to his requirements, will not go by my skills, he will stick to his environment not mine....and finally rejected me by saying that "u are not elligle for the opportunity". I thought of questioning his back, in technicall perspective, but at that time i was quite depressed, as it was my dream company and i worked hard for it. but i was rejected by some1 who dont even know the technology properly.

                    Sir,
Our office is opposite Lokhandwala Foundation School in Akurli Indraprastha CHSL, Lokhandwala Township, Kandivali (E), Mumbai – 400 101. Kindly look in to the following complains: -
                    1. The sewerage opposite our office is stinking unbearably which is making it the air polluted.
                    2. There is a huge drainage gutter which is open & full of grime waste which is not cleaned in passed 7 years.
                    3. The area is now fully covered with filthy hawkers who not only sever unhygienic food stuff but also create mess & litter the place.
                    4. The entire road is full of potholes which discharge lots of pebbles which is very risky as there are tiny toddlers in the crowd of pedestrians.
                    5. The above things compromise easy breeding space for mosquitoes thus spreading Malaria & several other diseases.
We trust & believe you will look in to the above complain & will carry out necessary steps in helping us keep our area clean, hawker free & a hygienic place to live.

                      Respected Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to you notice that the Malad West - Mindspace Back road (parallel to Malad Link road) is in a very bad condition.

The road opposite Paradigm B Wing - Mindspace , Malad West, Mumbai - 64 is completely shattered and there are many pot holes developed on that road.

Please note that this section of the road is used by all the Call center , MNC, resident, Car Showroom (espeacially Toyota showroom) vehicles and it becomes extremely difficult to drive on that particular road patch (opp Paradigm B Wing)

This road is of extreme importance to avoid the Mall (Inorbit + Hypercity + Infinity Malls) traffic on the Malad Link road. During Night hours, this road is extremely risk and prone to accidents due to low visibility.

Request your kind attention in rectifying this road

                      Thanks,

                        Address: Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra

I am living in Borivali (E) in Avon Enclave which is opposite to TATA SSL. There is a lot of construction activity taking place around the complex, especially a new building which is coming up right opposite Avon Majesty building. I believe, as a result of all this construction, the mosquito menace has considerably increased. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to all the tax paying residents of this colony. Also, there is a BMC owned public library in the vicinity which is exposed to this mosquito menace.

I request the concerned officer in charge to do the needful at the earliest, before any malarial epidemic breaks out. Thanking you in anticipation....CA Roy Samuel

BMC — Growing menace of Mosquitoes

                        Dear Sir
It gives me immense displeasure to write to you on this subject.
It seems BMC is not taking ant interset in keeping the city clean. However last few months have been horrible in the vicinity of my society. Sleeping has become a nightmarish activity, with so many mosquitos moving around.Kids are the worst affected lot
It seems that the area in question has never been part of disinfectant drive

I sincerely hope that needful will be done

                        Regards

Sub: Regarding Leakage of Ill -legal bathroom of occupant Room no 20, above my bedroom Room no 12 causing immense discomfort.
                          Sir,
You would recall that in view of the continuous leakage in the toilet situated in the kitchen, you were prompt to act upon our then complaint and raise to ground the toilet. This has added credential to your functioning as Municipal authority.
I now approach you with the similar leakage of Room no 20 .This is not only glaring but disgusting, the bedroom is completely out of commission and my daughter and I have to make shift with the space available, which I confess is most inconvenient. For the sake and comfort enjoyed by the tenants on the top floor you would surely appreciate that is improper and dangerous to continue the use of the bathing room which is leaking and soap water is penetrating when it is used causing an awful stench. Many complaints were lodged with connection etc. They have taken the Muncipality to court in respect to the concern matter suit 102428. The matter since then in the court no action as such has been taken and we are a victim to the ill- legal bathroom causing immense discomfort. When they bathe we too are getting bathed below, and the soap stench remains circulating in the room with a puddle of water on my flooring which causes us to slip due to the soap residue, the leakage has reached to the center where my fan is ,which now causes more inconvenience as the fan cannot be switched on as water droplets are on the blades and get collected in the motor which can cause a short circuit. Kindly send someone to inspect the site and take immediate steps to dismantle the same. So as to avoid any mishaps and make us vulnerable victims to loss of life and property, for which the concern officers will be responsible. The delay in the court judgment is no answer to solve this problem as necessary steps and action should be immediately taken.

There are no street lights that are working from the beginning of the Lane starting from the CNG Gas Station to the end of the Lane that is Bhoomi Gokul. This lane is used by many people going to Pathan Vadi etc places on two wheeler hence making no safe to women If teasing & chain snatching happen alot here. So pl fix the lamp post & show some ray of hope to the residents.

                            Thanking u.

                              DEAR SIR,

THERE IS PERSISTENT WATER-LOGGING DURING THE RAINY SEASON FOR ALMOST 3 TO 4 MONTHS IN FRONT OF THE COLONY MAIN GATE.IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE OUR WAY. EVEN VERY LESS RAIN WOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE WATER TO ACCUMULATE AND IT SUBSIDES FOR A WHILE TILL THE TIME ANOTHER DOWNPOUR HAPPENS.

KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS THE RAINS ARE NOW ALMOST IN MUMBAI.

THE ADDRESS OF THE SITE WHERE THE WATER ACCUMULATES IS AS FOLLOWS :

This lane is used by many people going to Pathan Vadi etc places on two wheeler hence making no safe to women If teasing & chain snatching happen alot here. So pl fix the lamp post & show some ray of hope to the residents.

                                        28th April 2011
                                        To,

I visited your below mentioned office again on 27th April 2011 to pay my bills, I had sent a complaint to the then Municipal Commissioner in 2006, who had asked his official to call me asking me about my grievance but sadly the system remains the same even today. The system of collecting bill payments by CFC is as follows, Every person paying notes of denomination 500/- and 1000/- is made to write the notes numbers on a book, sign and enter his contact number. Most people pay in denominations of 500/- and 1000/- rupees. There was a gentleman in my queue on counter no 2. who had a complete wad of 500/- rupee notes. He was entering the numbers of 100 bills of 500/- rupee notes after which the cashier again tallied all the numbers, this process took almost 2 hours. I again returned without paying because there were three more persons ahead of me with 500/- and 1000/- rupee notes. I would like to know that, is this practice mandatory, If so then what about banks in our city that transact crores of rupees in a day. Will these banks able to function with such practice.
Sir, I request you to look into the matter and find some solution where the consumer/client can complete his transaction within a reasonable amount of time.

                                        Thanks & regards
                                        Mathew Menezes

                                        Dear Sir,
Sub: Long Queue in Payment of Water Supply and Other Bill payments.

I visited your F/south ward office located at Parel Naka on 23rd December to make cheque payment of my water supply bill, There was a huge queue and there was only one counter in operation. It would have taken me not less than an hour and the counters are open till 1 P.M. only. How can a working/business person manage to pay the bill? I am writing this because I have had an experience of standing in the queue and returning back without paying as the counter had closed before my turn. This deterred me from making the payment. I would like to suggest that drop boxes for cheque payments be installed at your ward offices, this will be of convenience to the public and save a lot of time.

Sir, I kindly request your good self to look into the matter so that Mumbaikars are provided better service.

                                        Kind regards,

                                        Mathew Menezes

I further state you that your officers are taking the benefits under the shed of their chairs, your officers are performing their duty writing in according to their own thought & which going out of law & no legal activities has been done by the said officers. Therefore I am having no other option except to approach your good self considering my moral & legal duties to inform you with the above facts regarding unauthorized and illegal Construction work with the help of above said officers and also the above said officers have not dare to face the Contractor.
