National Highways Authority of India [NHAI] Complaints & Reviews

On 26/12/2021 around 11:30 PM, I was exiting national highway near Ratnala Cheruvu, Mangalagiri, (Guntur to Vijayawada direction) and two cars were deliberately parked on the highway exit turn and did not want to move their vehicles. They and their ignorance put other's lives at risk and I am attaching the pictures for your reference. The irony is one of the car belongs to PWD department of National Highways and the driver of that car said it is his property so he can do as he wish. This is not expected from someone who should behave responsibly, especially from the NH department. Images are attached with all necessary details clearly visible.

I would like this issue to be resolved by fining them appropriately so that they do not repeat the same offence and realize that it is wrong to block the national highway exit

Hello Team, on 25th dec i went from Gurgaon to Barsana in between at toll plaza srinagar by my car No HR 72E 6059 witj my family the toll employees charged me double and when i raise my voice they try to beat me and said "chala ja chala ja na saale ki lass bhi na milage" in front of 100 peoples my family chiled everyone is there so its happend with laks of peoples every day at this toll plaza so please do the quick action in this regard or let me know the further course of action

All the toll gate price are high in Tamil Nadu, they are charging Rs.110, Rs.150, Rs.180 for single pass .In this difficult days every price goes high .Please take serious action.Even though all road ways are not good enough . What’s the value of our money ?

I, M.Venkateswara Rao resident of SeshaiahGari palli village near Palampally toll plaza, Kadapa, Andhrapradesh would like to bring below issues to the notice of NHAI.
1. Toll plaza is located inside Municipal corporation limits.
2. No service road provided so far
3. Accidents are happening frequently because of no service road
4. Recently NHAI is constructing bus shelter for our village
5. For the bus shelter, authorities widened the road and the road height got increased and villagers are unable to drive the vehicles from the village because of too much height of road.
6. After complaint NHAI authorities poured 2 tipper loads of Bituminous concrete but kept heep as it is, not levelled and compressed.
7. We are parking our vehicles on main road only because of inability to drive the vehicle in to the village
Hence requesting NHAI authorities to connect the village road with main road with gradual height and compress the road.

While crossing the "Vishankheda NH-12 Of Madhya Pradesh" Toll Plaza at 9:04 AM on 25th December. Our fast tag was showing as blacklisted. And, the employees took the money (Rs.70) in cash. Also they debited the money(Rs. 35) from fast tag balance.

I have nhai fast tag but it will not allow me to add money to my fast tag wallet due to kyc.though i have updated kyc but status shown kyc pending..and due to that reason i have to pay double toll charge.so plz resolve my issue as soon as possible.. vehicle no.GJ03EC8702...Mo.no.[protected]..Name: Devubhai L Bharai...

Our car MP09CN5999 was passing through dhule-palasner tollgate on Agra Bombay highway. We were kept awaited for more than 8 min with just two cars infront o[censored]s. Since we abided by the rule mentioned in NHAI circular if we had fast tag and had to wait for 10 seconds it will be free. When we told the toll keeper he misbehaved with us and not followed the rule released by NHAI.
Please take some action against them by either checking video recordings at toll and giving them education on NHAI rules

It is to sumbit that we are travelling from somnath to dwaraka on NH51.
At Kuchadi Toll plaza our car got blacklisted due to low balance.
We have requested the staff to take double charge and allow us to pass but don't know why the staff caught argument with us and manhandled our driver.
This act of rowdyism cannot be tolerated in our country.
We humbly request you to kindly take necessary action on this kind of staff and see to provide good service to the passangers.

Pipili toll gate, Odisha... Same day i. e on 9th Dec 2021 my fastag deduction was Rs 60 for onward journey and Rs 115 in return journey. Why?

While computing the total interest for the purpose of ITR, it appeared that the interest on a bond for Rs 400, 000/- has not been deposited for last two years. Can you please check and confirm urgently whether our findings are correct.

Hi, I have recharged my SIB fastag with amount of 200 on yesterday and 80 rupees deducted in paliekkara toll plaza, Trissur. Now it is showing only 46 rupees in my account and there is no other transacts made on this. I have registered a complent for the same with id 79627. My registred mobile number is [protected].

Bank is considered this as the least priority and I don't have any faith on the bank persons. Kindly do the needful.

I am using airtel fastag service on my fourt vehicle (UP20AM7777), YESTERDAY i received a message from Airtel payment bank(fasttag), that 40rs deducted i.e., "You Paid Rs.40 at Sayyad Mazra Toll Plaza o[censored]P20AM7777 on 24/12/21 16:04:50. Avl Bal Rs.110.00 Txn ID: LN[protected]"
But i was not going anywhere.
So, please raise my complaint and investigate that my vehicle number car or related fastag using in any other car.

Toll fee deducted from account as well as collected it in cash at the toll gate. 45/- from account and 90/- in cash

I was charged toll of Rs. 100/- yesterday on 24.12.2021 while travelling from Pune to Satara for my vehicle no. MH12QM6274 at Khed-Shivapur Toll Plaza when there is no Toll for MH12 and MH14 registration vehicles. This is not the first time it has been charged. Also the people on the Toll plaza are instructed to compulsorily deduct Toll on all vehicles even when MH12 and MH14 registered vehicles are exempt. Please look into the matter URGENTLY and re-imburse my amount.

I want give details of chandwad plaza having charge double charge if even any person who return within prescribe time limit ( Any time period)
under which norms or act u charge same fair of return. give me details.if you do not having any information i will apeal under RTI act 2005 to consumer forum.

Toll plaza not accept rule of 10 km. They charge full amount like others. I am from seldoh. 3km from.

My car UP14BE8960 is equipped with Fastag. However, while passing through the Brijghat Toll Plaza on 20-Dec-2021 3:55 pm, the booth displayed low balance, despite having sufficient balance of Rs. 371.
I was charged Toll fee of Rs. 55 along with a double user fee of Rs. 55, totaling to Rs. 110.

I request you to make arrangements for refunding the incorrectly charged additional charges of Rs. 55 as it was an error or a technical glitch with the machine at the booth.

I daily commute from ahmedabad to nadiad by NEH-1. but maintenance of the highway is very poor.
following are places where repairing work is badly needed when you travel from ahmedabad to vadoadara.

1. near Reliance petrol pump

2. just 5 km before nadiad a 1 km long patch which is not repaired since 2 years.

3. other than these, there are so many potholes throughout the highway which are need to be repaired.

i think, the rate at which NHAI increases toll tax, they should also do repairing at that rate and pace.
previously the raod was maintained very regularly but since (around) last 5-6 years, the reapiring work is deteriorated like anything.
