I renewed our New India Assurance Co's Asha Kiran Mediclaim Policy vide No.[protected] on 20/09/2022. The Insurance Company has not provided rules and regulations along with the original policy so insurer was totally in the dark about the restrictions made in the policy. In December 22 my daughter has been diagnosed by the CMCH, Ludhiana Doctors that she had some problems swelling and stones in the Gall Blader so it is to be operated.The same topic had been discussed with NIAL and their TPA Paramount before operation and regarding payment will not be reimbursed they never said. On 7/01/2023 she had been operated in the same hospital and after her discharge and post cure period all original bills, clinical reports, prescriptions, CMCH OPD card along with duly discharged claim forms signed by me and CMCH had been deposited to NIAL at their local office Nawanshahr on 3.1.2023 for reimbursement and the amounting was around Rs 80K. Meanwhile, after attending all the queries at the time of the release of said payment they said 'MY CLAIM HAS BEEN DECLINED BY TPA PARAMOUNT. WAS NOT IT A GROSS INJUSTICE ON A HUMAN BEING WHO HAD SPENT MONEY FOR THE TREATMENT OF SIBLINGS AND WAS DEPRIVED OF NOT PAYING THE CLAIM MONEY BY RAISING SOME EXCUSES WHOSE CLARITY COULD HAVE BEEN SHARED DURING THE RENEWAL OF POLICY? I'M A LOW MIDDLE-CLASS FAMILY MAN AND BADLY FINANCIALLY BURDENED BECAUSE OF THE MANIPULATED SO-CALLED UNDISCLOSED POLICY CLAUSES AND FOR WHICH I CAME ACROSS HUGE MENTAL SHOCK. KINDLY HELP ME OUT SO THAT I CAN GET JUSTICE FOLLOWED BY MY ACTUAL REIMBURSEMENT. KINDLY TREAT IT MOST URGENT.

    I Sanjaykumar Vasantdas Shah participated in Group Insurance Policy of IDBI Bank for the year Nov21 to Nov 22 My PHS No 26173602 and employee Id 701465 I was recently admitted to Sahyadri Hospital Deccan Gymkhana Pune for lumber Stenosis operation on 11 Nov 22 and discharged on 14Nov 22. At the time of discharge my insurance claim was settled but they deducted the amout regarding Administrative and operation theater related charges. I emailed regarding this to Paramount Health Services TPA Pvt Ltd who was party to get this sanction. I also reclaim the deducted amount by sending documents through regisered post. In Nov 22 I was provided IDBI Group Insurance Policy silent features Document wherein it is clearly stated that administration and operation theater related charges are covered.So I emailed this document to Paramount Health Services TPA and IDBI pension department by email underlining my point in red colour. But till this day I Neither received reply through email or by post But on Paramount Health Services TPA company website I found their Repudiation for reclaim under clause 4 4 21 but they did not provide the details of clause with documents So my complaint is regarding companis double crossing in two ways first in IDBI Bank group Insurance Policy silent features and their statement denial of claim by clause no 4 4 21.         I received a payment of Rs. 31017 towards settlement of Claim No.[protected] under Policy No.[protected] for Vehicle No.WB12BG5252. However, my total bill amount was Rs.57556.

        The policy is the first year policy and it cover full body. My claim is for accidental damage and there was no other work done on my car.

        I already approached the the New India Assurance Company and the Mahindra Supreme Motors but in vain. It is almost 3 months that they are not resolving my case.

        So I request you to help me out as soon as possible.

                My customer id is 7h2960311, i have paid premium of mediclaim sinc 2006 regularly. New india agent has done fraud with me. Since last two years, he had taken premium from me, i have deposited the premium in the bank detail given by him self as new india bank detail. He had given me policy also for last year but this year i came to know that he has utilized my premium amount and not deposited in new india. I have given all proof to new india sr. Divisional manager at ashram road, ahmedabad- 380009 office as well as mail to ahmedabad regional office, new india customer care and new india head office. But since 1 month they are not giving answer to me.

                My case is genuine. There is no fault by my side. I was asking them is it possible to reactivate my policy or i have to take new policy. But no feed back from higher authority also.

                Very disappoint with new india assurance higher authority's behaviour.

                        i initiated an claim for my hyundai creta car with vehicle number tn15p0331 on 23/06/2021 for rat bite in

                        golden hyundai showroom salem

                        i requested them to claim damages under insurance, because my insurance policy has an default rodent cover addon.So the showroom iniated the claim.

                        But the surveyor rejected the claim stating that my third party expired wasn't live, i asked them for an rat bite there is no third party link and its not necessary, but the surveyor strictly rejected the claim stating that for an own damage claim, the third party should be default.

                        The next day i called to the new india toll free number, i explained everything about the claim rejection to the customer executive, he said there is no link for the third party to be live for rat bite, to claim under own damage.
                        He further initiated me to mail the policy number, copy and surveyor name and number to the new india, so that they will direct to initiate the claim and resolve the claim issue.
                        So i hereby attached my policy copy and the details of the policy number and surveyor details as follows.

                                1. Ref my PB Reference ID: 815354.

                                2. My case is under process since 26 Apr 28 wrt claim of insurance. My policy is from New India Insurance and the Insurance Surveyor is Mahendra Shah (MOB No - [protected]). The person has been negatively dealing with the entire issue. I have reported the same to Policy Bazaar customer care call on 3 May 22 (1 pm).

                                3. In first instance he did not include the entire damage to the vehicle. Thereafter he has been negotiating with the Mahindra Service Center since 26 April 22 without approval of the final amount. The car has been lying untouched in Service Center since 29 Apr 22.

                                4. Insurance Surveyor is Mahendra Shah has not been responding to messages and called he told that he is unavailable till Wednesday. Also he called me up and inquired as to why is he receiving calls and then demanded to listen to him uninterrupted.

                                5. This shows an absolute lack of professionalism and lack of consideration to a customer who has paid towards the insurance. You are requested to deal with both matter and person in professional manner.

                                      Observations and Opinion (As per Submitted Documents)

                                      Receipt of Claim Documents as per available details the patient was treated for HYPERHOMOCYSTEINEMIA and as per medical certificate patient was newly detected autoimmune hashimotothyroiditis with vit B12 deficiency from 26/10/2021 to 28/10/2021. As per diagnosis has a waiting period of 48 months which shall be applicable afresh. As per New India Floter Mediclaim Policy Clause No 3.14 g Genetic Diseases or disorders with a sub limit of 25 % of Sum Insured per policy period of 48 Months waiting periods.

                                      Note : For the Voverages defined in 3.14 waiting periods, if any shall be applicable afresh i.e. for both New and Existing Policy Holders w.e.f. 1st October 2020 . Coverage for such illness or procedures shall only be availbale after completion of the said waiting periods.

                                      Hence claim stand non payable. Hence Claim is recommended for reudiation and file for required action.

                                      Opinion

                                      As per opinion from side I am eligible for reimbursement of against my mediclaim policy and against this decease.

                                      As per your opinion this claim will be reimbursment after completion of 48 months w.e.f. 1st Oct 2020 but there is no knowledge given neighther insurance company nor insurance agent /TPA

                                      I was admitted in Hospital dated 26/10/2021 and Discharge dated 28/10/2021 and at that time I already inform Development officer Mr.D.M.Shah Agency Code – 210209. I paid Mediclaim policy from year 2002 to 2022 and I have Mediclaim Policy documents from year[protected] to[protected] so I am eligible for reimbursement of my Mediclaim. I already all supporting origional Documents to Insurance Company/TPA

                                      Meaning of Mediclaim is reimbursment of medical treatment taken by patient. I have age of 44 and I have no pre decese and I never taken medicine against this decease . I was Discharge 28th Oc 2021 and till dated I have not receive my claim amt. Today in this critical situation if insurance company /TPA not paid then as patient /Relative face mentally depression and face financial problem. Client has taken mediclaime policy for financial support igiven by Insurance Company /TPTA against medical treatment taken from Hospital. Patient / Relatives never knowledge of medical /Doctor Language of decease. Hospital /Doctors /Laboratories taken primary treatment and then after different kinds of medical reports and charge huge amt to patient. When patient was admitted at that time mentally situation of patient and Relative was very bad.

                                      There was no knowledge given of Rules and Regulations by Insurance Agent / Insurance Company/TPT/Hospital to Patient and this reason patient /Relative was suffer financial problem.

                                      Insurance agent resposibility to help to client for remibursement of claim. There is very long procedure for reimbursement of mediclaim. I Request kindly reimburment of claim within 1 week from submission of documents to company so patient /relative not face financial problems

                                      I have receive only mediclaim polices every year and no other docuemnts of TPA/ Deceases list from Insurance Company / Agent.

                                        At the time of discharge our claim of Rs. 2, 64, 230/-, was partly approved only for Rs. 1, 01, 760/- making a deduction of Rs. 1.63 lakh on filmsy and wrong grounds.

                                        They were supposed to make a deduction of 25% of the room rent only which comes to 17, 500/- however they made exorbitant deduction.

                                        The cause of her hospitalisation and illness was not HTN which has been shown as the reason of the deduction, which is absolutely false and only to cause harassment to us.
                                        It has caused us lot of inconvenience and harassment at the hands of MD India.
                                        Request you to address our grievance immediately and get our claim money reimbursed without any delay.
                                        New India Assurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        No resolution to my complaint has yet been done. What should be done for its resolution please?
