Hi, my name is chandrashekar s from hyderabad. This is in continuation of my several emails that i had sent to the entire management for resolving the issue but instead of resolving it both the dep. Dm (Ms. Vedasree) and the dm from hyderabad seem to cover it. The dm doesn't even want to talk to me thinking that he owns the entire nia, hyderabad branches.
As it has been several times that i had sent emails and no proper info. As per rti act and lack of proper service/ grievances not resolved i would be taking the extreme step and would write both to the fm and pm's office stating that because of the kind of harassment and ill-treatment that these staff have given, i am taking the extreme step and they are responsible for the same. At least going forward other customers like me should not suffer by these kind of staff at the branches in hyderabad.

    Hi, my name is chandrashekar s from hyderabad. Almost the entire staff at the ameerpet branch, hyderabad seem to have negative attitude and they don't bother to listen to the customers' complaints including the deputy div. Manager ms. Vedasree. Everyone seems to have the same feeling, which is that they not only own the branch but also think that the customers work under them and the customers have to oblige by listening to whatever they say.
    Even though i have raised a complaint stating that i am unable to renew my policy online (As my details were not properly uploaded by the branch), the dep. Dm instead of trying to help in resolving this issue, in a rude manner said that i don't pay a lot of money or don't have any other insurance policy other than just 1, and said that i should pay the amount either by cheque or transfer to some hdfc account.
    She didn't even want to listen and address my complaint even though i told her that i have all the policies (Health, home, car, 2-wheeler) with nia and yet she was talking with me in a rude manner. Also, she said that she cannot put me to talk with the dm and said that he was in some meeting. This kind of excuse i keep hearing always from this branch staff that is most of the times they say that none of their phones work (Lame excuse), they don't look into the emails that are sent to their email id, they don't allow us to talk with the branch manager (Either doesn't come to the office or he is outside the office always), have a negative attitude when they talk with customers by saying that "if you want insurance to continue with us, you have to keep quite and pay the amount and cannot ask any questions", also, they go to the extent of saying that "you can go and escalate this issue with the top most management and say that no action can be initiated".
    This gives a feeling that may be the branch is owned and run by the entire staff as they think that way and ill-treat and harass the customers.

        I called more than 10 times to customer care, sent mail to differenent people for nia company but in vain.

        Only because of this i am facing lots of troubles.

          I have submitted the claim for my flood affected car which was submerged in basement parking. Police f. I. R report is attached here with along with car photo. In my building all other cars were also submerged and have filled for insurance. My claim was rejected on false surveyor findings.my claim number is[protected]. Also find the policy number in attachment photo. I amm attaching my car photo at the time of submerge. My claim was rejected on false surveyor findings report. There are a lot of witnesses in my building to the incident. I request you to please process my claim.

              Our car registered under my father's name was stolen from workshop and we immediately registered complaint for the same in the nearby office of new india assurance. My father was expired 4 months prior to the incident and car was still in his name. We informed the same to the concerned employee in the office and all relevant documents were submitted along with the claim application. As the theft case was under investigation by kerala police, the final report was not obtained. We were been following up the case for past one and half year and last month we got final report. When we went to submit the same to the insurance office they told that the claim will be rejected as the car was still in my father's name. Also, the claim file was not transferred earlier to the parent branch from our nearby branch.in this entire period, we didnt received any communication or intimation from the insurance company. Our efforts to submit all needed documents were in vain as the officials already knew that the claim will be rejected. No intimation or clue was given to us by the respective authority during this entire time. It was like playing with our feelings and insulting us this entire period.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,
                  I bought a car insurance from New India Assurance in policy bazaar website. I bought the policy for the used car which has lot of complaints and I returned the car to same owner within one day. Hardly I owned this car for only one day. I bought this police on the same day. After a month I remember this policy and dropped a email to New India Assurance Company for policy termination and refund. I was asked to send the new policy to terminate my existing policy but I wrote back my situation. then they asked me the RC copy of the car to terminate the policy. So I sent the RC as they mentioned but later they never progressed my request for the same and they are not even responding to my emails after that. please support me to terminate this policy and refund from the company. please find the invoice copy attached.

                    ‌sir my name is abhishek i bought cb hornet 160r cbs base 4 by shubham sai honda in year 2017 they wrongly calculate my bike value 79920. Second year ur agent miscalculate that amount again as 60844 against policy no[protected] then now 3rd time i go my nearest branch & tell them whole thing after half hour conversation they say we are not able to undo your loss but we give you 58888 value o[censored]r vehicle and in add-on cover we provide you return to invoice with this cover you get your exshowroom price in case of theft or loss of fire by this we cover your loss then they make my new policy[protected] in 2875 rupees & only provide me nil depreciation. If i need only 0 depreciation then this facility i get online in 1648 rupees, i only give that amount in correction of my insurance but ur coligue are not giving me that services by which i get that satisfaction.

                          Re: pending claim of vehicle no hr 26 a 2079 insured vide policy number[protected], insured - mr vijay vig, surveyor-mr g. S. Maurya

                          Sir,

                          The claim for the captioned vehicle is pending since 15.4.19. It is a claim of self ignition.

                          The insured is suffering from cancer and is in mumbai with his son. The stationed vehicle caught fire of its own. The fire in the vehicle was doused by the neighbors. The claim was lodged immediately. A surveyor, mr g. S. Maurya was deputed who showed his inability to attend the claim immediately since he was out of station for the marriage of his daughter.

                          The vehicle was sent to the authorized dealer of ford, m/s harpreet ford, gurgaon. They took about 10 days for preparation of the estimate and after the survey, they realized that the cost of the parts had increased tremendously but they quoted old rates. This fact was brought in the knowledge of surveyor who advised to prepare a fresh estimate with parts number and new rates. He advised not to commence the repairs till the new estimate was submitted to him and he obtained the sanction from office. Accordingly, a new estimate with parts number and new rates were submitted to the surveyor. The works manager, mr yogender of the repairers and the undersigned kept requesting the surveyor to obtain approval of claims hub. Only after the permission of the surveyor and second inspection, the repairs were commenced. The repairers took some extra time in arranging the parts. During the course of repairs some more damages were observed so the repairers gave a supplementary estimate to the surveyor. I kept reminding the surveyor that he was supposed to take prior approval from claims hub before allowing further repairs. When the vehicle was fully repaired, it would’t start. It was found that all four injectors were also not functioning. One had to be replaced and rest of the three were repaired for which a further estimate of rs. 16500/- was raised. This estimate was also sent to the surveyor and claims hub before commencing repairs. Thereafter the surveyor was requested to re-inspect the vehicle. The surveyor kept saying that once the re-inspection was complete, he would discuss the matter with claims hub and prepare report accordingly.

                          Later the surveyor submitted the report for an assessment of rs. 62000/- against a bill of rs. 2, 65, 000/-. He said that the claims hub said that they might face problems with audit so he submitted report of rs. 62000/- only.

                          May i know, the claims hub is settling claims to indemnify the insured or to satisfy the auditors. Even if the auditors are to be satisfied then the facts could be put before them. They can understand the situation.

                          The repairers in-spite of being authorized dealer committed an error and prepared incorrect estimate. The surveyor committed deficiency by not doing his duty correctly and the insured is the sufferer. Is it correct? 2/-

                          I request you to kindly intervene and get the justified indemnity to the insured. I sent mails to to dgm, claims hub and dealing officer. I even talked to the dealing officer and explained the situation but all my efforts are not yielding any results.

                          I request you get the justice to the insured. I have already informed the dealing officer that i would complete all the formalities once the report is rectified. I am attaching two letters sent by me. I also sent mails and reminders too.

                          The maruti suzuki am motors feroke, we had sumbmitted our car for a insurance .they are not giving insurance right..they are telling silly reason and they did not give our insurance for our car..i did get my body repaired.now im in qatar...the insurance bad behaviour and not good at all

                            Sir, as i transferred from bangalore to hyderabad, we choose vrl, they told within one day they will deliver the goods as because bangalore to hyderabad is 8 hours only. They told they will give tracking number for tracking after three days also it is showing in transit.. Is it really take more than 3 days from bangalore to hyderabad??? Many times i called them, i have been told that you can track with tracking number. I really frustrated about this service. Don't go and choose vrl packers.

                              Insurance claim of Theft of your Suzuki Access MH-02/CM-5503 on 18/11/2014.

                              Its been 5 years we are struggling between so many authorities and finally all the documentation has been completed as per your requirement on[protected] and receipt of the same has been acknowledged from RO office.

                              Since last 8 months we have been in touch with the concern person at the branch vide phone also for the status of refund but no satisfactory response is being received.

                              Now we came to know that the documents submitted by us has been lost in transit during courier from RO to HO. And no one is telling us what is the way out and our fault ?????

                              NO one in New India Assurance is taking the action to resolve the same.

                              IS THIS WE GET THE INSURANCE FOR TO DO RIGOROUS FOLLOW UP FOR THE CLAIM THAT TOO WITH ZERO RESULT ???

                              IS THERE ANY TIMELINE FOR RESOLUTION OF THE COMPLAINT OR ITS OPEN ENDED FOR YEARS TO CONTINUE ????

                              IT IS REALLY HARASSMENT AND WASTAGE OF TIME AND MONEY !!

                              NEVER EXPECTED THIS FROM SUCH A REPUTED AND WELL KNOWN COMPANY LIKE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE !!

                              REQUEST TO HELP ME OUT SO THAT I CAN GET MY CLAIM AMOUNT.

                                I and my wife have been your mediclaim policy holders for last 30 years..
                                I alongwith my wife go abroad every year.
                                While going abroad we take your overseas policy always.
                                Till last year, after we return from foreign country we used to submit letter to your karve road office for the refund of domestic mediclaim policy proportionate to the period we were out of country.
                                We used to get refund & was credited to our bank account directly.
                                This year also we were in usa from 13/6/2019 to 15/8/2019 & on return contacted karve road office & we were told that now such refunds have been stoppen

                                    Dear sir,
                                    We send one consignment of rice to m/s maa laxmi bhandar, badkulla, teharpur, nadia (Wb) cost rs.23, 15, 313.00 vide invoice no. Sv/19-20/050 dated 27 april 2019 and lorry no. Up84t5518, but due to falling rain in that area the rice were damaged. Survey was done by protocol insurance surveyors and loss assessors pvt. Ltd. Noida, in his proceedings they sold our rice in e-auction in only rs.11, 35, 485.00 and send their claim report to insurance co.in this report they assess balance amount of claim only for rs.192, 709.00, when we inquire about this short amount they asked that single carrying limit in our marine policy is rs.5 lacs only, if our limit for single carrying was rs.5 lacs than the surveyor have right to sell rice upto 5 lakhs only not full consignment. But surveyor sold our full consignment in e-auction and make our loss. While in our all previous policies this scl was rs.20 lakhs, we do’t know who reduced this limit from 20 lacs to 5 lacs in this marine policy. Now you are requested to arrange to compensate our full loss.

                                      Hi there,

                                      I have submitted my claim documents to my agent at the start of june 2019 and till date he was giving me a run around stating that he would get back everyday for 3 months and now said that it got declined.
                                      I was admitted in the hospital and being treated for lower back pain and after providing valid documents with all hospital bills from a renowned hospital, he just ends up saying that the claim is rejected.
                                      The agent does not have a sense o[censored]rgency to look into matters and gave my parents false promises of it being resolved and after 3 months said it got rejected.
                                      I have been paying for more than 10 years and this is no proper way to treat a customer.
                                      New India Assurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Dear team,
                                        For the last 4 months, my payment has been on hold, while i have submitted all the documents and accident photos and videos but now they are asking for a badge. During the insurance, no one gave me a guide and even the insurance company does not have an idea from the end.
                                        One day they told me that there is no need for a badge because my car's accident took place in faridabad. But now they called and said that my insurance will not be cleared unless i submit the badge.
                                        I am getting insurance from new india from the very starting, and since i trust your organization i got my insurance renewed by new india after the accident. And if you look at the history, last insurance was cleared without the badge then why are these people refusing now.

                                        New India Assurance customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        We had Hathway broadband connection in our Surat office. Subsequent to corporate decision, we have discontinued the same more than a year ago. I am still receiving calls and messages for re-connection on my registered mobile number. There is no way the same can be stopped.

                                        I want this to discontinue immediately.
