we would like to raise a complaint against New India Assurance, We purchased Motor Insurance Policy for our vehicle and the vehicle was theft, we made a claim and provided all the documents as per their requirement and the letters we received.
Due to the Covid-19, the courts were not functioning so we were unable to provide the Court Order and the Vehicle Non-Repossession Letter so we asked them for some more time via email, on 21st July'21 we collected all the desired documents and provided them via email after so many reminder emails to know about our claim status, we also submitted the hard copies to our claim branch office at Laxmi Nagar.
Since then we are trying to know about our claim status via emails and calls, but we didn't receive any response, And when we tried to contact to their customer care we got to know that our claim has been rejected and the reason is unknown, the insurer has rejected our claim without any intimation, We have submitted all the desired documents still they have rejected our claim, We made various attempts to know about claim status via calls and emails but nobody pick up the phone or answer the emails.

We purchased the insurance policy by paying premium amount of 16, 095, and what we got, this struggle where the company is not even responding to our calls or emails.

Now we would like to request you to look into this matter and settle our claim as its already been delayed due to Covid-19.

Further, We will think twice before choosing New India Assurance and also wouldn't recommend to anyone as their services are pathetic.

        I Mr. Manoj Kumar Menon was having a corporate health insurance of New India Assurance Co. Ltd. and my policy No. Is[protected] and my employee ID code is 83 UHID NAER is 1184796, I had gone for a cataract surgery Of my one eye on 04/06/21 for which my claim ID is 148332 & for the second eye the surgery was on 11/06/21 and for the second eye my claim ID was150086. I had applied for reimbursement for both the claim and after successfully completing the audit report by TPA Ericson Insurance Tpa Pvt Ltd till date I have not received the payment from New India Assurance Co. Ltd. I have followed up with the TPA Ericson several times but there is no response from their side nor they are giving any satisfactory reply in this regard so I request you to kindly look into the matter as already more than 2 months has passed and the claims are still pending.

        An screen short of Ericson audit completed report is attached herewith for your reference.

          I want to complaint against CD Charges My LIIC Policy no is[protected] as I receive my salary on 7th of every month and my LIC instalment cheque will present automatically on 5th of every month and get dishonour every month as I receive half salary from last year due to COVID . So I pay LIC instalment online after 10th every month and they impose me with late fee near Rs 15/- -20/- and CD charges RS 125/- Approx. every month which is unnecessary as I made lots of request to change by instalment date to 10th of every month but they always Denay to change date as this is not my fault its the agent fault who did my policy or companies fault . So I request you to please stop these late fee and CD Charges to deduct from our hard earning money or make a rule to not to present LIC cheque to our banks before 10th of every month.

            I met with an accident in March 2021 and the new india insurance dharmapuri branch decided it to be a total loss.

            I received only a partial insurance amount of 1.15 L but I have yet to receive the promised salvage amount of 1.75 L.

            After several calls to DM(Subramani) hosur branch who is handling this. There was no response from him.

            It's really frustrating. I have been waiting for the settlement for more than 5 months.

            Please take this as an escalation and settle the amount soon.

              As my two wheeler duke 200 was theft on may 2020 in chennai. my bike was under insurance period in new india insurance. After lockdown I got FIR copy and other police stations duties. after 90 days I got my noc certificate from court. After completing every process for claim, the insurance company didnt take any action till now. i have contacting them for almost 3 months, they are not responding for my calls and text. please take this complaint and make them to process my claim process

                With humble submission I want to state that I, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, have insured building and house hold goods with your office at Anantnag Kashmir vide above mentioned policy number.There was a loss to my building due to Earthquake which occurred on 12th of February 2021 and I intimated the office and they deputed the surveyor namely Mr.Irfan Alam and he has submitted his report in the office and I have completed and submitted all the required documents with him. Now the office has issued me a letter after a gap of five months in which they have asked me to submit meteorological report to confirm the cause of loss.I would like to request you that I have submitted media reports with the surveyor in which it is clear that a heavy Earthquake occured on 12/02/2021 resulting in the losses to the buildings which confirms the cause of loss and Surveyor too has surveyed the property and has confirmed cause of loss due to Earthquake.
                I am surprised to see that after a gap of five months the said office is demanding for a meteorological report when cause of loss is clear to them and it surfaces that they are delaying in the settlement of loss without any logic. Everybody knows it very well that on the date of occurance of earthquake the magnitude of which was 6.2 on Richter Scale and whole Northern India was affected.
                Keeping in view the above facts kindly advice the concerned office to settle the claim without any further delay as there is no need to get any certificate further in the matter. Please ask the concerned office to settle my claim at the earliest without any further delay.

                    Recently my car got into an accident, the reason was, a group of bulls suddenly came on the road and my car hit them. And I got an emergency break, a truck hit from the back at the same time.
                    But the surveyor Mr. Sunil Yadav (Mobile: [protected]) came and said we can give you a claim only for the back part that was hit from the back because the front is not relevant to the accident.
                    it's only your arbitrariness. I fully insured my car with this company.

                      My grievance pertains to my legitimate expenses being disallowed in my claim for reimbursement of medical expenses.
                      I was hospitalised on 18/04/2021 for acute and chronic pancreatitis and discharged on 19/042021. The discharge summary is attached..
                      I submitted a claim for reimbursement of my medical expenses for Rs 12530/- to HITPA vide my letter dated 27/04/21. Of the claimed amount, only Rs 5155 was approved for reimbursement. Legitimate expenses have been disallowed.
                      The three disallowed expenses that I have protested about are as follows:
                      1. Room rent Rs 2800/-. This has been disallowed, even though I was hospitalised, for the reason "room ch (not payable in pre-post)". I have repeatedly requested that this amount should be cleared as I was admitted in hospital but to no avail. Attached is the hospital bill.
                      2. Consultation Charges Rs 1500. The reason this has been disallowed is because "RS 1500/- consultation paper dated 18-19 april 2021 not attached". These are charges that are raised when Doctors visit patients in their rooms/wards during their rounds. There is no practice of written reports for each and every consultation that a Doctor has with different patients during his rounds. My repeated representation that this expense be allowed has not been accepted. Kindly refer to the hospital bill attached.
                      3. Path Lab Bill of Rs 2200/- ( Kindly refer to the Hospital Bill attached).This expense pertains to the pathological tests that were done during my hospitalisation. The discharge summary states "Relevant investigations were done".This expense has been disallowed even though the lab reports have been furnished. The reason given is that no prescription for these tests has been given. These were tests conducted by the hospital for a patient admitted therin on the instructions of the Doctor. Where is the question of the doctor writing a prescription for such tests? My representations have not yielded any fruit.
                      I am aggrieved that legitimate expenses have been disallowed. I request that my grieance be taken up and HITPA be advised to pass these expenses.

                          This is regarding PHS Claim No. 5008522

                          My father was admitted in six sigma medicare Nasik under insurance. At last movement insurance company denied for the cashless claim and asking for additional documents, we checked with the doctor and hospital they already submitted this document twice to the insurance company but it's getting rejected. The patient was admitted in their hospital network why they are troubling to the patient instead of directly asking to hospital.

                          It was too difficult to arrange 1.31 Lcs at the last movement. When we asked to doctor about hospitalization justification later they said already shared with the insurance company and why should doctor ask to insurance company before admission.

                          I tried to contact there customer care but they are too irresponsible and no supervisor available to handle such a situation now pationt taken discharge and we will not able to povide additional documents if needed because hospital is 200km away from my home. looks like it's a fraud company.

                            I have submitted health claim no. 23078513 on Dt- 26-Oct-2020 for Rs.37648.83p.In that claim new India Mediassist TPA denial the claim due to hospital discount on final bill. As per Mediassist India TPA the discount amount which is given in final bill is much more higher as compared to bill amount paid.

                            So, in this matter I says that it's a hospital pattern with Pawan Dham (where i was admitted for treatment). So in this what can I do if APEX HOSPITAL CHARGES 3000/- PER DAY TO EVERY PATIENTS ADMITTED INTO PAWANDHAM COVID CENTRE? Then also I have given hospital explanation letter in writing, and all relevant letters when ever ask by Mediassist TPA from time to time all copies of correspondence is attach . But till today my claim is pending as it is, and no reply from mediassist TPA side.
                            I request you to kindly look in to the matter and convey Mediassist India TPA to settle my Claim with interest and compensate me for harassment and mental torture.

                              This is to apprise you that I have met with an accident dated 10th of March 2021 and very same day we have informed the same to “Prime Honda workshop” PIR Colony, Sahibabad Industrial Area Site 4, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201010”. I have fulfilled all the compliances asked by the agency for hassle free claim process.
                              Now in this case of my car being damages, timely intimation of aforesaid incident and followed all the procedure correctly, which are laid out in policy guidelines.
                              It has already been 45 days to intimate and go through the claim settlement process, but still to wait for getting any response from Insurance company side.
                              I am being harassed first by extremely delayed response and the response I got is horrifying to me as it is completely different to whats there in policy terms & conditions.
                              My damaged car repairing cost are stated to be Rs. 8 lakh plus (IDV value mentioned in my policy document) by authorized service station.
                              I am in complete right to get full value of what I am entitled to get as per the policy detail. But Policy Bazaar representative have been calling in order to settle the policy claim by offering an amount of Rs. 5 Lakh, which to my wits appear to be absolutely absurd as it differs significantly from the value that I as a policy holder is entitled to as per the policy documents.
                              After going through so much hassle in-spite of fulfilling the all the compliance, that to for so long I hereby request you to kindly look into this matter and help me in getting the insurance claim settlement as per the policy terms.

                                  The claim was submitted to TPA MDI on 13.10.2020 for Rs.21161.00 claim no MDI 5882840, Co claim no TP[protected], MASTER Policy no[protected] and certificate no 712500/GH/FEB2020/552.
                                  The documents submitted were acknowledged by TPA MDI on 21.10.2020.
                                  In turn MDI farwarded to new India assurance for settlement.
                                  Now my complaint before your good selves is that for the last more than 5months has lapsed but I am not getting my claim amount reimbursed.
                                  Further kindly note that I have been sent several emails to MDI, Div manager NIA at Chennai, grievances cell NIA Chennai, as well as have a chat with NIA H.O. MUMBAI.
                                  Kindly look into the matter.
                                  In case you need copies of all relevant corresponds exchanged pl do write to me I m ready to send the same.

                                  Really I did not expect such type of incompetent and lazy people are working in a reputed co like The New India Assurance Co Ltd.
                                  I would once again request you to instruct the concerned authorities to settle the claim immediately within 7days failing which I will go to appropriate court of law to recover my claim amount as well as Rs.50000.00being the compensation to wards mental harrasment
                                  There is no action seems to be taken by company.

                                    I have purchase my car insurance policy with the benefits of zero depreciation and cashless and new India took premium of that level only. But, now when I need to claim my insurance I got to know that my policy doesn't have these two benefits, I contacted the agent, he said that by mistake or because of network issue at the time of issuing the policy, these two benefits left out. However I have paid 16651 as premium amount which as per New India Company was sufficient or more than sufficient for a policy to include nil dep and cashless claim benefit. This is very disappointing for me and it seems complete fraud to me. Therefore I want you to take quick and strict action on this matter.
                                    I want no extra compensation but at least I should be given what I have purchased which is complete cashless claim and zero depreciation benefit.

                                      It has been almost 4 months now to keep contacting your staff and still doesnot get original copy of insurance policy . such an unprofessional behaviour you guys have towards job and your customers. very disappointing
