Hello this is Udit Narain Dwivedi I'm hereby writing this letter to make you aware that how your non-technical (i.e. engineer) staff at Nokia Care, NOIDA Sector 10 at Mannat Telecom , Inida asking for money to accept cellphones under warranty to repair.

Today 04-August-2012 I went to Nokia care,I said my cell phones touch pad is not working properly . They had told me that sir you have to pay 1500 hundred rupees . I said why it is under in warranty period , they told me seems moister or may be liquid went inside . I said no as per best of my knowledge it is never dropped in any liquid and its touch work but i have press its icons repeatedly . Finally I said no i am not going to pay any amount of money because if in my handset having no physical damage and as per best of my knowledge never dropped in any liquid even than paying money having no significance of warranty period .

When I got my cell phone back its touch totally stop working . So it was a worst experience of mine with NOKIA CARE and personally i m not going to purchase any of NOKIA product in my entire life because now NOKIA Product is not that much quality oriented as they was previously and there is no significance of warranty if I have to pay money .

This is something that is not expected at Nokia's service center take place, I have heard that they do monopoly at Nokia Care but this somthing one can't expect this.

I want Nokia Care to take proper action in this. Otherwise I resserve all my rights to take appropriate action against Nokia Care, NOIDA sec-10 India, in appropriate court.

Nokia — CELL PHONE NOT WORKING AND ITS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD

RESPECTED SIR,

I HAVE PURCHASED A NOKIA CELL PHONE (6070 model) ON 24.03.2007,INVOICE NO.1325 ESN/IMEI NO.[protected] FROM MOBILE 4 YOU SHOP,1 CITY CENTRE S.V. ROAD,GOREGAON(W),MUMBAI-400062.
SIR,SINCE PURCHASED OF THIS CELL PHONE THERE WAS SOME DEFECT. WHILE ASKED FROM SHOP OWNER HE TOLD IT WILL BE COMPLETLY OK. WITHIN 3 MONTHS THE SAID CELL PHONE WAS OUT OF ORDER.
WHEN I CONTACTED THE NOKIA DEALER TOLD MY CELL PHONE COULD NOT BE REPLACED. WE WILL REPAIR IT AND GIVE YOU BACK.NOW NITHER HE REPAIRED MY CELL NOR HE REPLACED.
SIR, IN THIS CONDITION I COULD NOT OFUND WHAT TO DO AND WHOM TO CONTACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF MY CELL PHONE.
IT IS THEREFORE I REQUEST YOU KINDLY HELP ME TO REPLACE MY CELL PHONE.

Dear Sir,

I have purchased the NOKIA 5610 MODEL MUSIC Express in 5th Apr. 2008. in that mobile I have faced the mobile Hanging problem from day one. My phone got down on 17 June 2008 and I had given on 17 Jun 2008 to NOKIA CARE CENTERE RAYRHYTHMS 102, SAKET COMPLEX, AKOTA ROAD, VADODARA. And the job Sheet No[protected]/080617/60. This mobile is given for repairing for L3 Level ion BPD Delhi and it’s returned on 11July2008 but it’s not worked properly. And within 30 minutes same problem has occurred. And it’s hanging and doesn’t power switch on. I had given back to same NOKIA CARE CENTER, VADODARA. And they had given me new job sheet no.[protected]/080711/34 and they return me after reparing on 2nd august after that same problem occured with in a 30 min it is got down and not switch on I submit again on 4th august 2008 on same nokia care center and tih job shieet no. is[protected]/080804/2. it till date under reparing to nokia care. and they are not ready to provide a replacemet of hanset.

I dont want to accept that phone again.

At presently i am facing so many problems regarding communication. I am frusted with this hanset and I want the replacement of this handset with new one.

I want full satisfaction for the mobile phone side .

Kindly I request you to pl. look in to this matter and provide me the replacement of the mobile handset.

i purchased nokia 5130, after 2 months the sound got bad, it was terrible even the loudness went poor ...
i went to nokia care to get it repaired, it took 4 efforts to get it replaced, still it is not working perfect i told nokia care to get it replaced as they were not able to make working with the original sound quality ...
so plz let me get my phone replaced .. tell me where to apply ...

    i am using nokia x6....MY IMEI NO IS. [protected].....
    i am so upset by using with nokia x6......even bluetooth is not working in my handset...if i try it so switch on my bluetooth it says unable to perform bluetooth action....my phone hangs n automatically switchoff n restarts while using....i also tried software reinstallation for three times...it is still repeating...so i hated to use it....this problem is for six months.for past six months i am having so much of trouble with this handset........it not works as like a smartphone......
    .so pls help me to solve this problem.waiting for your reply sir........

      I purchased nokia C1-00 Red handset imei [protected] on 1-7-2012, and after some days its mic started creating problem.
      after that I visited to nokia service center tilak nagar, new delhi & submitted the phone and recevied the phone when they declared that it would now work fine. But this did not happened and i visited the same service center 15-17 times to repeat the same process submitting and receiving the phone. They also committed to exchange the handset after i went there 3-4th time but they did not exchanged anything but after all this i got my phone and it was working properly but now it again started creating problem as its speaker is not giving sound properly. What should I do now because i think if i go there they will again do the same thing and my so much time will be wasted. so kindly do something in this regard.

        Hi,

        I have purchased a Nokia C5 handset on 06.01.2012 but it has a lot off problems, even UniverCell is also not responding to my complaints against the phone. From the beginning itself the mobile is not at all switching on.. it has battery problem and software problem.. Some times i can switch on, but not for a long.. it will get switched off immediately after few mins.. Nokia customer support also not responding to our complaints.

        So i request nokia to stop this bad set..

        I lost my money and spending too much time to solve this problem

          I was comfortably using my mobile from a long time and it was yesterday ( 09.08.12) that i had to switch off my mobile as the charge was very less as i had to call someone in morning so i had to keep the charge. In the morning when i tried to switched on my mobile, it didn't power on, i assumed that may be the battery got completely discharged and i went back home and put my mobile on charge and as soon as i put my mobile on charge i see the normal blinking orange light which shows charging but the mobile keeps on vibrating, I tried to switch on the device and still it was not able to power on. I removed the battery and tried it again and there was no luck. The back light of keyboard area works but the mobile is not able to start. I took the mobile to the Nokia Service Center in Patna Bihar, ( Competent Care ) on seeing the phone the first thing that he said was that the mobile is scratched and the metal part is dented so it is not liable for repair, then my question is why did the same guy took money from me for extended warranty appx 1 year ago, as my mobile had fallen from me a year ago and it was under warranty, the mobile was working fine but i went to the nokia care to show him my mobile and make sure everything was fine. After examining my mobile and dented part he said me that the mobile is fine and he insisted me to get extended warranty for my mobile as it was under cover and he said it would be good for me as any problem will be taken care by Nokia, and i paid the money and got extended cover.

          He opened up my mobile and told me that he wont be able to repair the mobile, stating the reason that the mobile must have fallen and Nokia does not over warranty under that, BUT MY MOBILE DID NOT FALL, as i said the mobile was working perfectly fine and i had to switch it off and later when i switched it on it was not able to start, and the mobile it still vibrating when charging and i am unable to use my mobile, but the person over there ( Mr. Prakash ) was not hearing me and even my mobile is under cover, he didn't repair it.

          We purchase Nokia mobile because we have faith in this old company and we get extended warranty coverage so that we shall get our phone repaired as and when in trouble, but this time the incidence has harassed me a lot and the person did not repair my mobile.

          I am very much dissatisfied with Nokia's Service and now there is no reason to buy Nokia phones, we used to buy it because of its name and trust in it but today i am very much dissatisfied with the service.

          It has been more than 48 Hours and every minute without my mobile is troubling me a lot. I would further want to Update the situation.

          It was 10th of August when i went to (Competent Care) Nokia Service Center in Patna, they told me that the mobile is damaged and they do not accept mobiles in damaged condition, but the fact is that the damage was done a year ago and the breakdown of mobile is not in anyway related to the one year damage, because when the mobile some scratched i directly went to the Nokia Service Center near my place (Competent Care) and asked him to properly check my mobile for any damage as i was worried for my mobile. He thoroughly examined the mobile phone and came to a conclusion that the mobile is in best condition and is free of any damage. he further asked my to get an "EXTENDED WARRANTY" as the mobile is costly and extended warranty are good for costly mobile, then i bought the extended cover for my mobile. The shocking thing came when i went to (Competent Care) on 10th of August and showed him my mobile the same person ( Prakash) said that they don't cover warranty for damaged mobile and argued that the damage has been done just now and not before extended warranty. He then refused to take the mobile.

          I then went to Nokia Service Center Dak Bunglow road, Patna and after examining my mobile he said that the mobile's slider is not working and he will correct the problem he said the the estimate would be around Rs.2000 and asked my to deposit my mobile. I deposited my mobile and said him that it is under cover and this made him a different person and said that the defect cannot be sorted out with them and he wont be able to do it. I request him to take it as it is under warranty, after lots of request he said that there Quota for warranty this month has exceeded and he cannot take more mobile until 10th October. He asked me to go to some other Nokia Service Center.

          Now i had no other option than to roam about here and there in the city even after having my extended warranty and i went to Nokia Service Center, Boring Road. I explained him the problem and he insisted me that why i am not depositing the mobile to Exhibition road center as it is the nearest from my place, but i believe there is no such thing that i can only go to a single service center, I believe i can go to any service center in India. After lots of request and trying to persuade him he agreed to take my mobile and said me that the same model won't be available and i may get another equivalent mobile. I agreed on his condition and gave him my mobile, again he came after some time and said that he wont accept the mobile as it has external damage. These are just ways to not help a customer, furthermore if you do not treat damaged mobile then why the hell i was given extended warranty and at the time before giving me extended warranty the mobile was thoroughly examined and said to be absolutely fine in condition. The technician over there were adamant that it is 11th august and the warranty is expired on 13th august and after explaining him several times that 13 comes later than 11th he was taking my mobile for repair.

          Now, this is maximum that i could have done from my side and this poor service from Nokia has really disappointed me and has caused me a lot of trouble in these 4 days. I have lost access to all my contacts and all the data on my mobile, and this has very adversely affected me and what was the use of paying for extended warranty when i am not getting any benefits and any support from your side. It has been around 5 years from when i am a user of Nokia mobiles and in my family it has been a lot more, but because of this incidence and poor support from your Service points we the old and loyal customers have to face such situation.

          I am also attaching the warranty information in which the date of repair and date of extended warranty is same and the date of repair which is a year back states that there has been some damage to the phone. Which clears the point damage what so ever was done 1 year back and not now, and now they should repair the mobile as it has happened overnight without anything happening to mobile.

            Hi, I've purchased Nokia Lumia 800 around four months back on 15th April 2012 from Nokia store, Ambience mall, Gurgaon. At the time of purchasing there was an offer of 3G usage worth 4 months free of cost. It's been four month now and the 3G service is not yet activated on my phone. The dealer is not at all answering to our daily complaints and not able to resolve this issue. They are blaming it's a network operator issue and network operator says it's dealer who can process this request.The staff at this store is not at all trained to resolve customer queries. they don't even know how to activate such offer in new phone. Its the worst customer service i've ever faced. I think it's giving a bad name to NOKIA even if the product is superior. Does NOKIA commit what it can not fullfill? It's the worst case i am facing with NOKIA.Was there the offer at all as printed on phone packing or it's just fake to get customer attraction? I'll strongly recommend not to buy any NOKIA mobile to anyone if it was a fake offer. Had i known this fact earlier, i would've never purchased this stupid phone. Worst service, fake committment, poor customer care that's what my mind has made up the image

            I must say Nokia has worst sales team, retail center, and worst service after sale.

            I would appreciate if anyone could guide on how to sue the dealer legally.

            Nokia — poor services and false commitment

            I Dinesh Manglani R/o c5d/91a janak puri ,has deposited my nokia c5-03 imei no. [protected] toNet Dot Solution A-5/1 Tilak Nagar. and i have been told its just a problem of display n u will get ur handset in 1hours time but with in 14min they told sir we need a days time as we dont have display here so by monday we will get it done and u come on 12th i.e tuesday and u vl get ur handset ,but when on tuesday i went there they said it goona take 5 more daays and i dont think that is feesable .

                  same experience I gave my Nokia C6-01 for service as it was not switching on, they replace it with C7, best part is SIM was not reading, no speaker(Think they refurbished it :-) ) overall mess, they took it back again and said they will replace it now my tension is how long will it last and they is no guarantee as its a replacement piece, My extended warranty hopefully can be used for rthis then what

                    on 21.07. 2012 i had given my mobile nokia 500 to nokia care for two intermittent issues-
                    1. screen off by gradually redusing brightness, then its going off .
                    2. cant hear right side of the head phone.
                    customer care executive told me that they have to change head phone jack and software loading so they have to send it to head office so it will take two weeks to complete the repair, and they contact me once its ready.

                    After that i didnt get any call or reply from Nokia care.



                    Today (09.08.2012) i went to nokia care and given the service job sheet . within 10 min they given me the handset and told me to check everything. i checked and try to call but i cant reduse or increase the volume (new problem). then i given back and they told wait 10 min....any way i wait there ..after 15 min they called me .....i checked calling functions and try to increase and decrease the volume..oh god 'super' its working..any way new problem solved.

                    Then i checked head phone function its amazing...earlier it was intermittent problem...now it got good stability. Now they told me to change head set...luckly i have got one more head set with me ...changed it and tried ...not working..

                    Again they given to service inside...after 5 min they came and telling ....Dont worry....it will take another two weeks.

                    Im totally upset.....and i asked them "are u really try to service this mobile?...are u given to head office for servicing?....are u replaced head phone jack?..." No Answer....


                    im using my cousine brother moblie.... he given me for one week....now its third week ....i have to buy a new one....because of this nokia care special service. why they are cheating us?...only one mistake i did i bought NOKIA phone......

                      I placed an order of Nokia Asha 302 (Order No[protected] on 31 july 2012 at 10:27 AM from Shopclues.com. The current status of this order is still processing even after 9 days. I have contacted their customer care for 3 times but did not get any satisfactory answer, every time they said that your product will be shipped in next 24-48 hrs. When i tried to contact shopclues.com by chat on their website there also i m not getting any satisfactory answer.

                      Since the merchant is also from Delhi so it should not take more than 3-4 days for him/her to ship the order.

                        I have given my cell for repair at NOKIA CARE, Micronas Telecom, at C-4, Sec-2 Noida on 10/JUL/2012 with the targetted delivery date of 10/Jul/2012 as per the job sheet details of job sheet below.

                        Last year on this Aug11 i purchased Nokia X7 Phone within 2months there it has a problem regarding touch sensors defected, i went to them and they changed the touch sensor but the body get deformed, i told this issue to them they people told me that due to fitting the sensor and screen this happen and the body is not in the stock so i have to manage.

                        After 6month once again the sensor not working properly then again they people change the same and again i remind for the body but they replied that this is my fault and i deformed the body hence they are not providing any body cover to me, i agreed at that time but the lower portion of the body get disturbed.

                        Now last month again there is a problem regarding incoming audio and have connectivity and transceiver problem and again i claim for the body but they people not agreed and told me the cost for the body 6thousand i agreed.

                        Now 1Month going to complete and By inquiring by my own several times they told that the Phone is not ready as body of the Phone in not in the stock and will take more 10 days. and this is the sixth time i am getting the estimated time given by them. Upon referring the matter to their customer care number, i.e. [protected]/ 4287545, [protected] for escalations, the concerned Manager Ms Sunita Pangte also told me that still the body is not in the stock, i ask her to mail me the same, then she bluntly refused to mail me, so that i can connect me to her higher ups for taking up the matter.

                        The other tele-executive further said that we can take up the matter only after . I insisted for transfering the call to AVRS system for feedback. Then the call was disconnected without further communication. then does anybody find merit in owning and patronising NOKIA. The tall claims made by NOKIA are worth nothing and they are just fooling people. Whenever I visit the concerned Nokia care center, most of the front executives are busy in chatting each other. There is no sense of responsibility and commitment.

                        I will really be obliged if my complaints can get escalated to Nokia's higher ups for service / repair related matter

                        Note:- The body related issue is started from the begining of my first service and now i am paying for that.. And even though keeping one month they even not providing the solution. or for the temporary standby handset.

                          I want to share my concern with all the other users of Nokia E5 and to NOKIA India team (if they are listening). I bought NOKIA E5 model after thorough market survey. The reason i bought NOKIA E5 were Value for money and Good Battery backup in May 2011.

                          Every thing was fine till Mar'12 after that i started experiencing that my phone will suddenly activate power saving mode even after charging it completely. I have also sought help from Nokia helpline but of no help.

                          After that for last two months my Nokia E5 started showing "Battery Empty recharge phone" and switching off very frequently . Last week went to Nokia care Centre, Maa Comunication , Preet Vihar , Delhi . They charged me Rs. 100 for merely inspection of the phone for giving me estimate . Then they charged me Rs. 350 for software update. Now after 2 days the problem again resurfaced. When i talked to the service centre they said now you will have change your battery (Rs. 2300) and if problem does'nt get resolved then they will investigate the hardware of my phone.

                          As an ordinary customer i have lost faith in Nokia Product quality and their service standards. Why cant they check my phone completely for the root cause ?? May be they wanted to charge innocent customers for every step.

                          I have seen many customer have reported the battery problem in Nokia E5, Is there any design problem ??

                          Hope to receive some response from Nokia India team. My decision of buying Nokia Lumia phone is now stands postponed.

                          NOKIA / E-5 — Poor quality, phone starts malfunction within a month even after replacement (twice)

                          I had bought a Nokia E-5 in January. It malfunctioned within a month and i lost all my data and contacts. The phone was replaced with a new one. Worked well for a month and then it too malfunctioned. Nokia care replaced it again with a new one. Same story again..it worked well for a month and now it is giving functional issues. I have been using a new handset almost every month after the purchase. Nokia has given me bad quality handsets thrice in a row. I asked for a refund at Nokia care as this phone has been more of a liability to me than of any good use, but they refused. I regret my choice to purchase a nokia product and I am sure I would never again buy or suggest someone to buy a nokia product. I would like to get a refund from Nokia for the handset so that I can buy something useful.

                          i am also suffering same problem with my Nokia E5. It shows no problem in standby mode, when i make a call within 30 sec. talk time it goes on "Power Saving" mode & shows "Battery Empty" and become switched off automatically.

                          I've changed my Battery, Flashed it software . But problem not solved.


                          if anyone knows the remedy, please inform us.
                          i am also facing same problem with my Nokia E5. Whenever i make a call or receive a call, battery empty error message and phone gets switch off in some time.

Today i talk with an executive (nokia executive, regarding my device) then he told me that your device is under observation. "what a funny jokes he did" because after twice observation nokia kept my device third time for observation for the same issue. So my question is that if (for repairing) nokia will continuously keep my device under observation then when i will use it & what are the value for buying nokia brand mobile (if it provide this type of service) ??? while talking to the nokia care executive ([protected]) they always says that keep patient your device will be soon repaired. i think god only can help me.

                              I have got very frustrated from the services of Nokia care almost 4 to 5 month has passed And 4 job sheet has taken but Nokia care doesnot do any thing. they return my handset as it is before. one month has passed of this latest job sheet and i have visted to care many many time for problem but they are not taking it seriously.

                              please tell what i should do.

                              Nokia C2-03 — no support for themes

                              sir i am constrained to bring to your notice that the nokia c2-03 mobile phone doesnot support the themes facility. the touch pad is also not good and is less responsiveness.

                                  I m Man Singh I have a Nokia Cell model C5 03 which is now sometimes working and sometimes not. So it’s already gone in Feb/March 2012 to the Nokia Care GSM Communication, Ghaziabad when it was shutting down automatically. So that time nokia care was done something but did not disclose what they have done and also suggested to take a extended warranty of this phone. So I have taken extended warranty (doc enclosed). Now since last one month phone is not working so I gone to the NOKIA CARE Vaishali Sec-4 Ghaziabad. They have checked the same advise me the touch is not working and we don’t have parts it will take 2 weeks to arrange the same it will better to go other cares. Then I gone to The Cell Point, Gurgaon Nokia Care, they have checked the same and found that it’s got tempered leakage etc. even I’m the person which is using my phone extra carefully so it cannot be possible and I do not agree this The Cell Point Care centre Gurgaon . When I was asked how it possible they could not given me satisfactory answer and when I ask for giving me in written what you said then they gave me in written after 45 minutes along with my cell. So I request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible.

                                    No response from Nokia Care on Complaint

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have submitted my mobile phone Nokia C5-03 at Nokia care center M/s Milap Electronics Nagpur on 9the July 12. Complaint ID 120709/30.
                                    Almost 25 days have gone but my cell phone is not yet repaird. Nobody from company replied. Every time i would have to call & ask theem. The people answer in very unprofessional way. They give me only dates but no assurance at all. They theink i am fool being a customer of Nokia. Nobody gives assurance.I am frustrated by thee service provided by thee company. If Nokia is not able to repair my unit, please give me replacement or refund my money. If my issue will not get resolve withein 24 hrs, i would have no option otheer thean consumer court.

                                        Hi. I bought a Nokia Lumia 710 from The Mobile Store on 9th of July. Initially I was using a Vodafone postpaid connection with which I had issues connecting to instant messengers. I contacted Nokia customer care and they asked to me to visit a Nokia care and reinstall the software. Even before one week of purchase I had to go to the nokia care and got the software reinstalled. But the issue was not rectified. Then they told me its the issue with the operator. So, I ported my number to airtel. I was able to use the airtel connection for 3-4 days and that's the end. My phone does not have internet connection anymore. Contacted airtel and they told everything is up end working from their side. Then contacted Nokia and they told its a known issue with Airtel and Lumia 710.
                                        Though I was told it would be fixed at the earliest its not yet done and they don't give us an exact time of resolution. This is the first time I am hearing that Airtel, which is India 's one of the leading provider had conflict with phones.
                                        Even the windows market is no more working. This is really annoying. People shell out so much on the phones and the manufacturers are least botherd to provide proper support.
