    nokiax1 — phone does not catch network

    i have purchased the dual sim phone of nokia. nokia x1. this remains out of coverage most of the times. even when the network shown is full if i try to call my no from other no it tells the number is out of coverage area. basic feature of connectivity is not provided to me. my contact no is [protected]. i hope you should be able to connect to me.

    nokia x1-01 mobile — ordered online and not received . 3 months over

    i have placed order for nokia x101 on 27 march 2012 at timtara.com , beleiving its advertisements and fallen into trap . i have placed several messages to its customer care to cancel my order and refund . but there is no refund until now . i have lost hope of my money getting back . there is no option to cancel my order . they r saying shipments is in process .plz help me anyway

      I baught a mobile handset of model "NOKIA C2-03" from an authorised dealer of Nokia in Nov. or Dec. 2011. And there is a warranty of 1 year. During the period starting from the date of purchase to 26th July, 2012, the said phone remained with Nokia Care Jaipur for 3.5 months approx, including 3 visitings. My phone was repaired and returned to me at 7 p.m. on 26th July, 2012; on that day my phone was switched of autometically at 10p.m. and not restarted later.
      And on next day when I visit to the Nokia Care, they told that there is a physical damage on the surface of motherboard existing below the memory card slot, after some time the told that there is liquid in the phone. When I complained at the customer support number of Nokia they told to make the problem confirmed from an other Nokia Care in the city. At the 2nd care centre once they refush to check the phone but after making them talk to Nokia Customer Officer the checked the phone but they didn't tell me about the exact problem in the phone.
      Now, I'm requesting to Forum for face to face solution of the problem.

        VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE SUPPORT OF NOKIA

        I, Deputy Inspector General G Devanand had purchased a NOKIA-300 mobile phone from CROMA outlet situated at South Extension, Part-II, New Delhi in Mar 2012. The Serial number of the phone is[protected] and the device is under warranty upto Feb 2013.

        2. Since purchase, the device has been functioning erratically(Screen indicating SIM card not inserted ). The issue was taken up with CROMA outlet, South Extn.-II on detection of the defect. Though SIM card was reinserted by CROMA ,the problem again resurfaced after some time leading to extremely unreliable operation of the set. This unreliable operation of the set has led to not receiving very urgent communication of vital nature regularly. This time it was told by CROMA to take up the issue with NOKIA Customer care.. Hence, I visited the NOKIA Care (Service & Communication), A-180, Sukhdev Nagar Market, Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi on 30 Aug 2012 and shown the device to one of the care executive present at Counter No. 4, vide Visitor’s Token No. *24.

        3. After inspection of the device, the executive stated that the fault of NO SIM indication lies with faulty inner panel holding the SIM slot and therefore the inner panel is required to be replaced and a sum of Rs. 1430/- will be charged for the same. I was shocked to hear this response from NOKIA who boast of a very professionally sound product support team. I just could not understand how I should tamper the internal part of my mobile set. In fact I should be paid by NOKIA for the mental agonyl and opportunity cost of lost communication. This issue was again taken up with customer care centre of NOKIA. The customer care centre also repeated mechanically quoting the warranty policy that I should pay for repair. I decided not to take this approach lightly, as it is a direct assault on my honesty and infringement of customer rights.

        4. Sir, I request you to kindly direct NOKIA to repair my handset under warranty. The NOKIA customer care unit should be warned not to repeat their totally unprofessional approach in dealing with genuine customer grievances.

          Dear Sir/ Madam,
          I had purchased a nokia handset C5 from nokia dealer on 6 tho Sept, 2011, a month before my handset was not working properly, its battery was was getting drain within 4-5 hours. I visited their authorised service centre at Vile Parle, gave my handset for repair at the time of submitting handset it was working properly except battery issue. The engineer opened my handset and said me that 3-4 ICs of phone are damaged due to liquid. I told them that my mob never got dumped in water. they said it may be due to your sweat. I told them that means it is poor Quality Check / Control from Nokia. Then after they told me that we will replace these ICs and give it to you it may take 10-15 days WI the max cost of 2000. I said ok. But now nokia service centre is saying that due to liquid damage Ur phone is dead, due to liquid your phone's software is not supporting. I told them that my phone is under warranty still you asked for money i did not say anything now Ur saying that your phone is dead we are helpless. I was shocked to get this reply from nokia. My question is that only because of 8-10 drops of sweat if the phone is becoming dead that means either there is mistake in Nokia's QA/QC or the engineer who handled my phone had done something wrong.

              Respected Sir,
              It is submitted that i have visited in happy and positive mood at Nokia care ceter situated at New Sanganer road, Jaipur and entered in the center where when i just entered in the room with my wife, i heard a big commanding voice "WHERE ARE U GOING" I Just saw that a man in nokia uniform i think he was guard and he was distributing the visitors slips to visitors. He gave me slip with negative attitude, as i committed a big crime . i began to start filling the slip and i gave him. he very rudely speak to me that you have not filled slip completely. mean while he was giving other persons slips alongwith token number from machine, but he had not given me the token number and than behave with me in insulting way in front of many person even without any fault of mine. i hurt my self very deeply in my heart and i literally cried in my heart that how can one person behave like this in such a prestigious company where even customer feels to be very happy in such a huge company. I than visited to manager of the center and requested about the misbehavior of the guard. Guard told me “ Do what you can do” no body here your voice here.He even did not given me the visitors slip and i could not able to lodge my phone's complaint. And it happened even Manager (Mr. Vinay jain)did not understood the feeling of customer and told me two customers are sitting here I will handle your problem later on and even he did not call the guard and not asked why he misbehaved with me. Now I decided to share my deep heart feeling with this prestigious forum to please look into the matter and please warn them not to mishave with innocent person. We are feeling very bad and sad by vising the Nokia Care and by misbehaving by guard and not cosidering the crying voice by the manager.

              The suitable action should be taken against culprit to teach appropriate lesson for misbehaving with visitors and it should be informed to the complainer about action taken otherwise situation may become worse by not teaching the lesson to them.

                Hello Sir,

                I am Bikramjit Singh from AMRITSAR. I am using Nokia E-7 and N95-8gb , I Buy E7 cell on 16Oct 2011 with Rs. 25,499. Its an OSUM Gadget from Nokia. From Previous I have used N70,N72,N73,N95,N95-8gb, N97,lumia 710, 9300, E90 and More. My Family also Used Nokia. These all Mobile Phones were New Buy. I LOVE to Used SYMBIAN OS. That Why my First preference is nokia, then any other.My Cell Phones were Never faces a Major Problems, But there was a problem occur on 20July 2012 in my cell phone E7. On that day i was not in Home Town. Next day when i reached Home Town, I went to Nokia Care centre and tell them my story when and how it was Occurred. Then they deposit my Cell and give me 7-10days for Repairing my cell properly. My Cell Phone is under Guarantee. 21July 2012 was the date when i deposit my cell to nokia care centre.AND Till Now it is not REPAIRED.

                I AM VERY FED UP AND DISAPPOINTED FROM NOKIA CARE CENTRE. After 10 days I go to Nokia care Centre and i requested to them , Is my Cell properly repaired or not ,they told me your cell is under processing so give us more time for repaired properly and told me came on next week .I waited whole week , then again i go to nokia care centre on next week,and they agian said still under processing [20 days were past from the date of depositing Cell] THEN AGAIN AND AGAIN THIS PROCESS REPEATED. Now I am very Sad, i went Nokia care centre about 8-12 Times. But always i return home with No Cell Phone.

                They Said My Cell phone was damage internally, there fault is on Mother Board and can't be repaired. So we requesting to issue you a new E7. and your request is accepted. They dispatch a new E7. then they said not E7 by mistake the UPPER LEVEL Authority dispatch a N8 for you because there are no Availability of E7. i rejected this offer then next week they gave me another offer, when i go there and they said we have an option for you for NOKIA LUMIA 800.I again reject the offer, Because I Love SYMBIAN OS not MANGO OS, and request to them Please Issue me a NOKIA 808 Pure view. Remaining Price I will [NOKIA 808 PRICE - NOKIA E7 PRICE].


                THEY MISGUIDED ME FOR 49 DAYS. THIS IS VERY SHAMEFUL. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST ANY BODY TO BUY NOKIA PRODUCT. REALLY I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED FROM YOU TO TRUSTING BLINDLY.

                HOPE YOU TAKE ANY ACTION FOR THIS, REGARDING YOUR NOKIA CARE CENTRES.

                  Myself Avnish purchased a new NOKIA 500 from NOKIA PRIORITY DEALER SONEPAT HARYANA. From starting it was not working properly and i visited NOKIA CARE CENTRES in SONEPAT many times and contacted NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE HEAD OFFICE in INDIA, but they are not trying to solve my problem. They were asking me money for repairing of my phone(in gurantee period) without giving any receipt of bill and when i regret to give them money after somedays they said me that it has been tempered or had been liquid damaged by us. They are not ready to repair it or replace it. Please take neccessary action for the same. This is my their last message which they send to me-----

                  In response to your e-mail, we would like to inform you that as per our previous e-mail communication, you may kindly note that your Nokia Device is liquid damaged and the same cannot be repaired by Nokia. Further, we are closing your case from our end.

                  Secondly, you may kindly note that any physical damage, water corrosion, or external tampering would lead to the non functionality of the logic board.                           My son Melvin Calph receive a message on his mobile, stating that he has won a Nokia Promo winings of four hundred fifty thousand british pounds. The Claim verification form as also e-mailed to us by one Dr Mark Newton from the Nokia Claims Department to complete and send back with our identification documents. the clam was verified after we compete and send the documents back. He even called me on my mobile to confirm received of the claim form.

                          He has given us the bank who will deal with transfer of the money as well the contact person there. the claim reference number is AUZXP4. He inform us that we have to pay the bank charges ourselves as the money must be paid out as it is, because it is insured.

                          Would you please check and come back to me if this is true or not. The bank name is Standard Chartered Trust Bank, Tel:[protected], Fax:[protected].

                            i have a nokia X3-02, which damaged due to water. i give a this mobile to nokia care center , for repair. they said as your mobile was damaged due to liquid, you have lost your warranty.then i said to him all right., you will repair that solve the touch other problem relating to liquid insertion. then they said to me you have to pay around Rs. 1400/-. i said its all right. i will pay you. then they took a my mobile for 3 days . after changing the touch screen and made minor repair. they return to me in working condition. after that my mobile was properly work around a month. after month, my mobile provide a low battery backup and keys of my mobile is not working , then i checked my mobile to local vendor. he said to me, nokia care did not clean up properly, due to that most of function of your mobile not work.

                                This is really pathetic to say that such kind of services and attitude you showed towards me when i approach to Nokia Care store lajpat nagar. I purchased my Nokia handset on 31.10.2011 from south Extension. I was been promised that you will enjoy the features and now what i am enjoying it. Every now and then i have to visit you Nokia care store for defective handset.

                                I appreciate when i first approach, it was been swaped with a new one IMEI - [protected]. I was pleased by your service and the committment towards your product. But sorry to say, this new handset has made my life hell. After getting replaced also i am suffering like anything.

                                There is a technical problem in your Device i,e invoice problem. I cannot hear the voice of the person whoever calls me. 3 times it was kept in your nokia store to get it repair and 2 times they did it manually by themself and return me back.

                                First thing, i have been using your nokia products and it was a kind of belief that i find it the best and so i don't prefered any other service. And now when i am facing a problem you are treating me like i am nothing.


                                I would like to address Mr pradeep (in lajpat nagar store ) who was dealing with us. Instead of finding the solution he was arguing with us

                                "saying do whatever you want to do, you can escalate if you want. You have to come whether it be 10 times or more than that. All i can do is this only."

                                We are so cooperative that every time whenever we approach him we listen and accept his solution or decision. But today when i went your Nokia care store for the same problem, he was giving me the job sheet to get it escalate and didnt even take the handset though he made all the entry on his system. He said that the body is slightly sratched or broken or whatever but my problem with this is INVOICE PROBLEM, Instead of getting it repair for once and for all he said take your handset and go. We cant do anything.

                                Should i appreciate this ? or Should i clapp on this ?

                                What should i do?? My money is not black it matters me alot. Have I made a sin buying your product ???

The target delievery given to me was 22nd sept, 2008. When i called them on[protected] they said the parts are pending and we will surely return your cell on[protected] but when i called them on the next given date they repeated the same thing and gave me next date as[protected]. today when i again called to the nokia care, they replied me that we dont know how long will take now. I am getting harrased of this thing. I never thought a great company like Nokia can do this thing with their customers.I wish you will take some actions against my request. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

                                    I had given my nokia mobile N73 for servicing at Poovath Internationl, Ernakulam on 6/05/09 and I had not got the phone till today. Three or four months ago i had given the same mobile to them for the same complaint and they took one month to repair that. After several days the same complaint has been repeated.                                       The phone got started hanging up within two days of single hand use. I visited in SSV shop for changing the instrument because due to hanging problem I wont' able to make any communications,
