Nokio — Incoming calls not received

Dear Sir,

We are using Cellone No. [protected] shim for the 5 years. we are remitting the payment regularly. Eventhough in September month you have disconnected the service. September 2010 month Invoice also intilally raised for 4,000 and revised for 3000. Eventhough our usage is very very less. We hereby once again request you to check and confirm the last month bill. Our usage will not be exceed 1200.00. What you have claimed is very very high.

22.10.2010 on wards our above shim's incoming calls are not coming. Out going calls are going. Please check and rectify the problem.

    I bought Nokia N 8, a set worth Rs. 24,000 which started giving problems within 24 hours. It started hanging and Ovi applications got deleted automatically. It was restored within 24 hours by the priority dealer although they could have given me replacement. I got to know later that nokia has the policy of replacement if set gives problem within 48 hours.
    Problems recurred within few days again and I approached Nokia priority Dealer (I could not go to Nokia Care point as the list is not available on Nokia Site). He redirected me to Nokia Carepoint nearby. executives at Nokia Care point updated the software and said that it was a new version. I got to know later that no new version of N8 is available. Therefore, i could not trust that care point. Also, he gave assurance that if problem recurs again, a replacement will be given.

    As the problem occured again the next day I approached the care point but the executive went back on his word and asked to keep the cell under observation for 7 days.

    My question is
    If a set gives problem within 24 hours, it has a manufacturing defect. Then why is the customer suffering? If I give my set for repair then whats the purpose of buying such an expensive set. Neither it is new any more nor it is defect free.

    I have contacted customer care several times and spend lot of money in talking to them too. But no solution was given to me, they are adamant on giving the set for repair.

      The first mail to nokia : have bought a cell Nokia N8 - EMI no.[protected] amounting
      Rs.23000/-
      ( including CST/VAT) vide bill no. Nokia/188/oct, dt:26.10.10 from Super
      electronics pvt ltd. ( Nokia priority Dearler), showroom 44/2B,krishna puri, outer ringroad, Vikas puri, ND-18,..
      Ph no. 25997123/[protected].
      The very first day i.e on 26th oct-10, there was a problem in software
      (as told by the store executive) and the cell was getting hanged, everytime
      we tried to open th photos folder. on 28th of oct-10 we went to the dealer, from where we purchased the set,
      and the executive said there is a software problem and we are updating the same. She did it and returned the cell. the very next day when we tried
      to use it,it got switched off. As i am working and my Fiance Mr. Amit
      Saxena( the person who bought the cell) was not in town, we could not register the complaint. On 4th of november we went to the dealer again and then she said there is some hardware problem and we can not get it rectified you need to go to
      Nokia care centre. From there we went to nokia care centre and then we came to know the set will be sent to Nokia head office ( Mathura road) and
      they will repair it accordingly. For Which my refernce no. is[protected]/101104/59
      and the contact person is Mr. Dev ( Ph no. [protected]).
      my question is when i informed the dealer with in 48 hours, even then why he did not change my set? We went to him twice a time even then he took
      no action. Now when i called him he is misbehaving and very rudely said
      that we can not help you in this case.
      We have spent Rs.23000/- on a set and we both are service class people.
      Kindly look into the matter.

      Third mail from ma end :we again got the same problem the cell is dead again. when we got it back
      from the nokia care, it was getting hanged and was getting switched off ,
      the calls were getting disconnected automatically. we had a word with the
      care center executive and he said to deposit it again before we could
      deposit it, it got dead again. now tell us what to do??? how many time do
      you want to visit us the care center after buying your latest
      technology????

      I had a talk with nokia care executive Dev, from where i came to know that the centre will be closed on sunday. so i will be submitting the cell on monday at the same center. I cannot bear this pain of roaming around your center at an interval of every 5 or 6 days. i want my money back or a replacement of my cell.


      Kindly help me. i dont know what to do??? they just keep sending us the mails... i had a word with the executive of nokia care : Mr. dev, actually when we got the cell repaired for the very first time, they said we are not able to give you the delivery document as our system is not working. We said fine you give us the date when can we collect us, he called us on monday ( immediate monday after that saturday on which we got the delivery of Repaired cell ph Nokia N8).We came to know that there office got shifted to tilak nagar. we went there and then he said as the shifting is under process so systems are not working, hence wont be able to generate the delivery doc. You come on tuesday . As my fiance is working in london, so he had to take his flight on Tuseday and m also working so had to join ma office. On saturday i called that executive Dev for the document he said WE ARE NOT SURE IF WE HAVE THE DETAILS IN OUR SYSTEM, AS IT MAY HAPPEN THAT THE DATA GOT DELETED FROM THE SERVER. Sir/Madam, m very dissappointed and have no clues whats going on pls help us

      Have you still received your phone yet? Did they replace with a new one.
      Mini also is dead within 2 weeks. I was taking a photo and it froze and then turned off. It did not turn on after that. Now it's with Nokia Care. I gave my phone on the 24th of November.
      I gave my mobile on 1 november after two replacements of other phones not a new one they are not giving i sent those back to them for getting retail pack new phone they said i will be getting it on 16th December if im not given brand new handset, i am consulting my advocate for filing a case against them

        Dear Sir,

        Recently i purchased a new Nokia X6 handset with 16GB.. the next day onwards the set starts showing complaints. my handsets problem is the speakers are not working good.. when i increase the volume the sound will disturbing. i purchased this phone rs15800. Next day i go to the shop and said my complaint.. they will replaced my phone, unfortunately the same problem happens in that set also.. then the shop owner says that' sir we have a another shop in Cochin we will give you another handset from there'. so i wait for 2days i got my new mobile yesterday, unfortunately that handset also showing this problem.. why this happening.. Nokia must give the value for his customers because they are ready to buy the Nokia mobile with high price lie 15800 i paid..
        I prefer music and camera thats why i take Nokia but now i realy disappointed. my friends also know the problem of my phone.. they also ask me why Nokia have no responsibility. So my opinion is that Nokia will recall all the X6 handset and replace the speakers with in a short time. because this is not a problem of customers. they are paid the money, and they dont want waiting.. if any one see the mail. please forward this complaint who are responsible for this. otherwise i think the the brand image will decrees. i noticed that once time when a battery issue happens Nokia recalled and replace the batteries.. so i hope that Nokia will recall and replace the speakers....

        Buddy...I had been facing the same prob with my x6...Had given it for service where it was sent to Delhi for repair and had got it after 10 days but the jokers (Nokia Service) messed up and within two days the left speaker stopped working completely...had again given it for service...so my x6 was used for just 2 days and 20 days in the service center still ridden with issues...Is it what I deserve after having spent a fortune on my mobile???

        Nokia treats us Indians as fools and sells us third rated phones at a huge premium...I hope this company crumbles as it continues to lose market share, vital people(vanjoki, opk) and gets wacked up by smarter smart phones from competitors...
        I Purchased Nokia X6 from Croma, Goregaon Mega Mall Opposite Oshiwara Bus Depot, Goregaon West -400102 on 17/07/2010 for Rs 16, 049/- (IMEI [protected])
        Extended Warranty obtained simply as the instrument is not working well since beginning. So the phone is under warranty. Apart from so many personal visits and repairs, the latest spell is longest in non-operation mode. It was shown sometimes in Sept 2011, repaired and returned by Phone4U, Nokia Service Centre Ville, Parle Mumbai. Complaint closed
        The phone was again not accepting SIM and was reported for repairs at Nagpur in October, 2011. Job sheet created, repaired and closed.

        Again, the instrument had problem and was complained on 25/10/2011, repaired and returned by Phone4U, Nokia Service Centre Ville, Parle Mumbai. Complaint closed. Though it was not working properly, it was told that it will be alright after some time.
        The instrument had problem and was complained on 28/10/2011, repaired and was being returned by Phone4U, Nokia Service Centre Ville, Parle Mumbai. Complaint closed. This time, it was not working properly, so we refused to carry it back. The phone was shown to some senior employee and we were told that it will have to be deposited.

        The phone was received. Proper SERVICE JOB SHEET No[protected]/111028/80 was issued on[protected]. I was told that the office will call me after some time within 24 hours and confirm the status. We keep on phoning up now and today, to my surprise the Call Centre informed, that there is no status shown and I should go to Ville Parle personally. I call at the same number but there is no reply. Few Complaint Number, noted by me are as under –
        LATEST COMPLAINT NO. 1-[protected] – phone call on[protected] by me on phone
        Before that case ID is 1-[protected]. It is too cumbersome to keep calling and without solution.
        Moreover, the customer is only allowed access to call the call centre and service centre who have no solution to the problem. I asked the name of a responsible officer of NOKIA Company that is not available with these franchisees.
        I want to lodge a consumer complaint. I approached the seller i.e CROMA ( A tata enterprise). They asked me to contact the Nokia Service Centre again. I asked on the number[protected] and the person attending is a call centre guy, who cannot do anything except to answer what he can, OR authorized to do so.
        IT’s UNIMAGINABLE THAT NOKIA ASKS THE SERVICE CENTRE TO NOTE ALL DETAILS LIKE MY MAIL ID, PHONE NUMBER AND THEN DO NOT WANT TO INFORM THE STATUS OR REPAIR ON SMS< MAIL OR PHONE. NOKIA COMPANY IS TOO SURE THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMERS. AFTER SELLING THE INSTRUMENT< THEIR ADDRESS IS NOT KNOWN OR GIVEN IN WEBSITE AND SO THEY ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE> PLEASE HELP.

          sir, this is bhhaskkar from kadapa city,andhrapradesh.
          i purchased nokia 6210 navigator on12 jan 2009 at Big C( balaji watch &mobiles pvt ltd.),kadapa city.the amount of mobile is exactly Rs.14,600.but unfortunately mobile came to repair on july month(screen problem).so i gave it my mobile for repair at nokia care,beside municipal corporation office,kadapa.but nokiacare rectify my problem nearly 3 months after.but my mobile panel & body was totally damaged under their repair.but i complaint my problem to nokia care somany times about my mobile panel & body.but there is no response from them.so please solve my problem.

            SUBJECT:-

            1. Company has accepted that the hand set is faulty and shall be replaced.
            2. Each and every party and person agrees to replace the hand set but no one is delivering it on one or other excuse.
            3. Company is accepting the replacement of the handset
            Sir
            Purchased the mobile on date 24/10/2010 at 20.00 hr from Capaital mobile store from Gandhinagar.
            The next day on taking the photo it is found that on using the camera the phone gets hanged. And only one photo can be taken after sever minutes. The problem was told to the retailer. He promptly sent us to Nokia care at Gandhinagar. The Nokia care-Mr Mayur - did some soft ware installation and on failing which asked the retailer on phone to replace the handset. I handed over cell phone to the retailer on 26/10/2010. Retailer only marked that the cell phone is to be replaced on the back of the original bill.
            Afterwards I mailed the Nokia India Pvt ltd and customer care at Gandhinagar stating the facts and all the relevant details.
            Since then 25 days have passed but hand set is not replaced.
            Retailer gave me the number of some officer of the company Mr Gaurav Jain-cell no [protected]. I talked to him on phone and explained the fault of the instrument and what customer care of the Gandhinagar had said to retailer for replacement.
            He did assure me that replacement handset will be delivered to me on Friday or Saturday i.e. on date 19/11/2010 or 20/11/2010. But now i have lost the patience. And hence i lodge the complaint.
            While I was lodging the complaint on date 18/11/2010 the Customer Care from Gandhinagar called me. Mr Mayur called from no[protected] of customer care at 16.23 hr and told me that within ten minutes he is reverting back - and he is doing something to give me the replacement at this very moment i.e at 16.23 hr. He is the same person who told retailer to replace the hand set at the first instance.
            Yes, he phoned me back at 16.30 and told me that latest by Saturday the replacement handset will be delivered to me. Surely a company policy to corroborate the boss!
            The issue is "not getting the replacement cell phone hand set within reasonable time" even after company is accepting the replacement of handset claim.
            Company has accepted that the hand set is faulty and shall be replaced and will be replaced. Each and every party and person agrees to replace the hand-set, but no one is delivering it on one or other excuse.

            today again I contacted Nokia office at Ahmedabad on phone no[protected] and talked to mr Ghulam.
            He also assured me to deleiver the rep[lacement phone on saturday i.e.20/11/2010 and even ask me in tacit terms that I contact the dealer some one named Hitesh with cell no [protected]. I flatly refused as company was shading off its responsibility as it is their product and their service centre. I was told in tacit terms terms to wait.

            Nokia E 63 — REFUSAL TO BLOCK THE SET

            Dear Sir

            My above mentioned Nokia Mobile E-63 (IMEI NO.[protected]) has been stolen on 30.03.2010. I have lodged the missing report in this regard before Badarpur Police Station, Delhi. I visited Nokia Care, Lajpat Nagar and requested that my aforementioned set to be blocked, however i was answered in negative. The attitude of people , working at Nokia Care, Lajpat Nagar was very casual and they did not tke the things seriously. In view there of you are requested to block my afore mentioned nokia set E-63 (IMEI NO.[protected]) so that it can not be used by the thief. Kindly do inform me that the afore mentioned Nokia Set has been blocked.

            Dear All,

            Regret to inform you that my set sr [protected]has been mishandled by Venus Communication Nokia care center 115-A,poket D phase 3 Ashoak Vihar Delhi 110088.This set was under warrantee and i have a bill without having a bill no dated 02/07/10 has been charged for 1400 inr for the charging problem .Till date i have to go nokia service center every day to get this rectified and same is not getting rectified.

            I want to register a formal complaint against them and want my set replaced due to their mishandling.

              I have purchased Nokia N85 from Sangeetha Mobiles, Himayath nagar branch in Dec, 2008. They promised for free service after the warranty period. I had a problem with upper keyboard for which i approached the branch and paid Rs.2500/- towards the repair vide bill.no.1904 dated 8th October, 2010.               Till now the problem is not solved, and the mobile is with the branch. Request you to look into this matter ASAP and take required action.

                I am facing Several Issues with My Nokia Phone (5130 XpressMusic) after the next day when i have purchased. I Have purchased this Mobile 4 months back and currently it is in Warrenty.

                So far i have visited the Nokia Care (Chennai, Veetee Communications) for 7 times and each time they are telling that, issue got resolved and still i am facing the issues.

                For each time i am speding around 2 hours for up and down Journey and so far it took 20+ Man Hours.

                For the First Visit : Upgraded the Software
                For the Second Visit : Splashed the Software
                For the Third Visit : Changed the Battery
                For the Forth Visit : Kept mobile for 7 days for Observation
                For the Fifth Time : Sent the Mobile to Head Office and repaired the IC
                For the Sixth Time : Again Sent to Head Office, as the issue is not fixable in local people.

                Please advise me what i have to do. Here i have to see Only 2 Options,

                1) I have to throw this Mobile into DustBin and Assume that Nokia is a Big....

                2) Still wait for the repair / resolutions (Not sure how many times and how many days)

                When i call to Nokia Customer care, as per Nokia Polocies you have to visit the Nokia Care and Visit and come back (Seems 'N' number of times also...)

                    i had a problem in my nokia 6303 i handset which is in warranty period. i purchased my handset in july, 2010. i went to nokia care, park road, lucknow, uttar pradesh along with my handset on november 12th, 2010. i told about the problem to the staff i.e. black lines on the display. but no one paid attention to my problem. i went to the nokia care next day again but all in vain. i was very irritate because the staff is not listening to me and they were busy in their unofficial talking. i told the cco that my handset is in warranty period but he did not listen. it was such a horrible experience. i have lost my faith in nokia care, park road, lucknow, uttar pradesh. i will never advise anyone to go there for their handset related problems which is in warranty period or not.
                    finally i went to the other nokia care,b k & co, near leela cinema, lucknow, uttar pradesh. at here the staff took the handset for the repair & they gave my handset back at the time. this was such good experience.
                    i want to make a complain against the staff especially cco and reception counter of the nokia care, park road, lucknow.
                    please take proper action in this matter so that the customers of nokia can trust in nokia care.

                              This is true, I also purchased a Nokia C3 Phone and it gets switched off automatically in 5 minutes. I was waiting for this phone for a long time and now this phone has come out to be a very bad experience for me. Never buy this phone and there is no point going to Nokia Care for such issues as they wont fix it.

                              In my earlier post I mentioned that Nokia C3 gets switched off in every 5 minutes. I found the root cause and fix for this.
                              I checked the Nokia Discussion forums for C3 model and got to know that this problem comes only when you have inserted Memory Card in your phone. I removed memory card from my Nokia C3 Phone and it works fine after that. As per Nokia Discussion forums, only Nokia brand memory card is supported with C3 model... though I did not try this yet.
                              mam u r absolutely right, the same case is done with me, in my c3 nokia mobile, it should be not charge properly and in Punjab(phagwara), any he also make me fool, and tell me battery is ok.?
                              but in 24hrs, i notice that the same battery is gv to me which i hv Earlyer..

                              is their any employ who help us..

                              it seems i am not the only one facing problems with NOKIA C-3, i have been using it since 5 months and it gets hanged, gets switched off automaticalyy, there are some audio-problems, and worse part is that there is a plastic coating done on the upper panel, which has come out from, and it looks very cheap.On visiting the Nokia Care at Goreghaon Link Rd at Mumbai, i was told that you have to update your software and that the plastic coating will be charged.I even complained at the Nokia India office, but they never paid any attention to my problem, just exchanged a couple of mails and then there is no communication from them.I think we should all boycott Nokia Phones, they are just making huge profits by selling poor and cheap quality handsets.

                              Nokia C-3 phone — Issue with Nokia C3 in 5 months of purchase

                              Hi there,

                              I have brought a Nokia C-3 with IMEI No. [protected] from a dealer in New Delhi on 1st March 2011 worth Rs.5770/-

                              This phone worked fine for first 5 months but in August it started giving problems. The first issue which I encountered was the microphone stopped working. The called couldn't hear my voice. I went to Lajpat Nagar Nokia Care to show the handset. They opened it in front of me and showed some liquid material on the keypad. As the humidity level in Delhi in July and August is too much and while hearing the calls, our sweat tends to percolate in the keypad area, this liquid might have accumulated there. I can swear that this phone was never put in water and not even accidentally it went inside. The only reason was the sweat that might have percolated. To this the executive clearly told me that the phone has gone out of warranty and now they cannot resolve the issue within warranty conditions. When i asked what will be the charges for a normal way of mending it, they asked for Rs.2000/-. I was shocked to hear that a simple microphone in C3 is worth Rs.2000/-. Can anyone on earth believe that a phone worth Rs.5770/- which has dealer & other commissions added in it, can have a microphone of this much amt.? Or was it only a way to reject the customer??

                              As I didn't have any other option, I went to a local phone repair shop to have it mended as I had to use it for my personal use and cannot throw a 5 months old phone away. The Nokia Care executive had told me that if I get it corrected from any outside vendor, the phone can never be brought again to Nokia care for warranty procedures. But as there was no option, I had to get it repaired. I paid Rs.600/- to that guy and got it repaired. This was the first big jolt to me (spending Rs.600/- on a phone which is still in warranty).

                              After 4-5 days again a new problem rose..The keypad unlocking key stopped working. I had to press it at least 10-15 times to unlock the keypad. This problem keeps arising time and again till date and at times doesn't.

                              Another problem which I have started facing last week is in the main QWERTY keys. At least 7-8 keys are not functioning properly, for e.g. if I press A it types AFG; pressing O types MNO and so on..

                              The microphone problem has arisen again for which I will again have to catch hold of the vendor who mended it. All in all I have faced enough issues in this phone in past 20 days which makes me feel that either Nokia helps me in getting it corrected or I have to approach the Consumer Forum for the same.

                              Believe me, I am not threatening but I had similar bad experience in my laptop 3yrs. back from Lenovo and they too had started giving me some warranty Terms and Conditions and when I approached Consumer Forum against them, they mended all the issues FREE OF COST till I was totally satisfied. I personally don't want to drag any reputed organization to Consumer Forum but this is forcing me to do so. If I get a response in next 2-3 days I will be happy for it, else I will lodge a complaint at [protected]. I am registered member with them vide registration ID: 193796.

                                        My Complaint details are self explanatory with the following copy of the same written to NOKIA officials and they even don't bother to reply for the same.

                                        My suggestion is not to buy NOKIA N8 for the very simple and critical reason that after byuing the premium handsets like N8, Nokia let their customers to run door to doors and there would be no replies and they just work as they are working from past so many years means they don't want to excalate the issues and get the problems resolved fast.

                                        on Saturday (06.11.10) evening my phone got stuck up means got dead. It was neither get switched on not get charged.

                                        On Monday (08.11.10), I have shown my hand set in Nokia Care Centre, Okhla Phase-2. They said that it's software got corrupted and need to reload the same. The engineer over there gave me the reason that I might have used bluetooth and due to certain virus it has got corrupted.

                                        He reloaded the software and fixed my problem and 12:00 noon. But same day in the evening at around 4:00 PM my phone again got the same problem, this time I havn't used the bluetooth for data exchange, have just made 10-12 calls from the same.

                                        I again shown it to NOKIA Care Centre , Okhla Phase-II they said it has to send to the head office to get repaired.

                                        same day I took my phone to Nokia Care Centre, Noida sector-2, they again said the same thing to me. Also they admitted that they have not the required part in stock to get the problem fixed. They send the hand set to your head office.

                                        My concern is that I am using Nokia products from last 12 years, not only me my whole family is using the same. I trust on the reliability and sustainability of Nokia products thats why made my mind to get a premium phone like N8.

                                        But from the day I bought the same I am not able to run it properly even for at least 5 hrs.

                                        I am running here and there to get it fixed. Now the hand set is with you at your head office. I am requesting you to please arrange to send the same after repairing by saturday this week (13.11.2010) or please take the alternative action either refund my money or replace it with a new NOKIA N8.

                                        It's more than a week that I am not able to use my phone which is worth around 24000/-
