    I purchased a nokia 5220 xpress music Blue (Purchase date:-12.10.2008) from M/S Das Stores Barrackpoer [94(151), Barasat Road , Nona Chandanpukur, Barrackpore, Kolkata - 700122, Mob. [protected]/[protected]] and my IMEI NO. [protected]. But few month ago I face software problem in my mobile. So. that's why i went to NOKIA CARE, Barasat(22/1, Asutosh Ghosh Road, Sethpukur, Barasat, Kol- 124, Ph.- [protected]/[protected]). They solve the problem within 2 houres and give one month sevice warranty. But after 1 month 15 days again I face the problem same problem. Then again i went to barasat nokia care and they solve the problem. But saturday Morning to till now again the same problem in my mobile. And my job mobile is so Essential , If my mobile give me problem then how i do my job .
    So I request u sir Plz solve the problem as soon as possible.

    Nokia 5220 Xpress Music — NOKIA CARE Service Centre Negligence

    I have bought a NOKIA 5220 Xpress Music Mobile Phone from the authorized dealer of NOKIA Priority Centre on 12 September 2008 after 15 days only there occured Out Going Audio Problem in my phone and my 1GB Micro Memory Card also got Corrupted I gave it to NOKIA CARE at Hari Om Tower in Ranchi on 13 Oct. 2008 they kept it for 41 days and returned it to me on 23 Nov. 2008 but the problem was still there and again took it up on 25 Nov. 2008 and till now i hav not recieved my phone and the 1 GB MMC which was to be given on 1 Nov. 2008 is also not given to me and whenever I ask they tell that you will not understand the process What should I do ? I am thinking of lodging a case on them in the consumer fourum.

      I bought the Brand new NOKIA N8 spending 24K. It sucks.. It troubled within 1 week and it was alright after some time. It was running very slowly. Again in few days the phone was dead. So i took it to the Nokia care and they re-loaded the software and it was fine after that. Again after a week, it was dead again and after 2 hrs when i tried to switch on it came back and till now its OK. But however its very very disappointing. Now i am not at all liking my phone. Dont know how to escalate this to to NOKIA. I expect a replacement to all the faulty phones
      I bought my N8 a day berore tomorrow but the same problem Like is arising.

        I had purchased a new E5 Nokia cell from Mobile store parel. The same was out of order within 4 days of my purchase. I then handed over the phone to Nokia center and they indicated that it was a software conflict and would get resolved within an hour. As of today the phone has been sent to Delhi considering a serious issue.

        Nokia customer care, please listen and replace my phone. Trust this would do no good.

        Nokia E5 — HORRIBLE PHONE

        I bought a Nokia e5 op 12/12/2010, within 5 mnths I had problems. Since 2 June 2011 I handed this handset in at Cellectro Bellville (4times), apparently they did a software upgrade. Then on 12/08/2011 I handed it at Mtn Worcester (2 times), first time sended back 2 me, according 2 them it is a battery fault, but after I borrowed (didnt want to spent more money on anything after all expenses I already had just to hand in this handset) a battery, the handset still didnt want to come on. I phone your consumer line, and boy, the lack of service you get from these operators are almost as bad as service from your centres. I contacted the Nokia consumer line on 2011/08/20, the on 2011/08/23, according 2 operator technician will contact me, after 4 days 2011/08/27 I phone them again, luckily the same operator answers the phone, he was very "surprized" because no technician contacted me yet...no this gentleman makes excuses and makes comment like: "why did'nt I ask/demand a new handset? did I do a software upgrade on the internet myself?" O.M.W!!! Nokia just don't wanna take the blame for this handset!!!! I don't think they even read all these complaints regarding this mobile, because if they did, I would assume that this handset would have been from the market already!!!! Ive been with Nokia for ± 12yrs now, and this is the worst ever!!! Im thinking of cancelling all contracts (I have 3) with them and then buy a blackberry. Really, I cant explain to you how disappointed I am, that is an understatement for what I feel and to what I actually want to say about Nokia! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!!!

          I have not been able to install GPRS setting of BSNL in NOKIA E 63 hand set. I tried with the BSNL Operator also but everytime the message would read - "Setting received but not saved. Message deleted."

          I am exasperated after more then 100 times. My number is[protected]. Please send proper setting to the phone so that I can save it.

            This is b.veerraju doing Ph.d in hyderabad central university, some body has stolen my 7210 nokia mobile in samalkot railway station on[protected] at 9pm. I gave complaint to samalkot railway police on[protected] at 9.30pm.                   I purchased Nokia 5233 in feb 2010 it was working fine for 8 months but suddenly half the screen is not displaying any thing. When i went to Nokia care they just looked at the screen and said the screen is gone and have to replace it. But it is not covered under warranty. The price of the display is half the price of the phone.I am wondering why the hell they are giving warranty when actually nothing is covered. Can any one suggest what I can do.

                  nokia 5233 — mobile not working

                  SUBJECT-NOKIA CARE MAKING FOOL O[censored]S

                  (1) AS MY HANDSET WAS SWITCHED OFF AFTER TWO HOURS OF CHARGING,I WENT NOKIA CARE FIRST TIME ,THEN THEY ERASED THE DATA AND TOLD THAT IT HAS BEEN OK BY UPDATING THE SOFTWARE.

                  (2) THEN I CAME BACK, SAME DAY IT WAS NOT WORKING AFTER TWO HOURS.

                  (3) AFTER THAT I WENT THERE AFTER THREE DAYS THEN THEY ASKED TO SUBMIT THE PHONE FOR 15 DAYS AND THEN I SUBMITTED THE PHONE ON 27.01.2011 AND THEY DELIVERED THE SET AFTER SEVENTEEN DAYS.

                  (4) WHEN AFTER THAT I CAME BACK TO HOME ,THEN SAME DAY IN NIGHT IT WAS AGAIN SWITCHED OFF.

                  (5) THEN WHEN I AGAIN VISITED THERE , THEN ASKED ME TO CAHNGE THE BATTERY, THEN I REPLACED IT AT SAME MOMENT AND NOW THE BATTERY STAND BY TIME IS ONLY 4 HOURS WITHOUT ANY ACTIVITY (WHICH SHOULD BE 10-15 HOURS) WHILE ITS WORKING TIME IS ONLY 1 HOUR (WHICH SHOULD BE 4-8 HOURS).

                  (6) NOW AFTER ONE DAY THE NETWOK OF PHONE IS NOT WORKING, THEN I VISITED AT NOKIA CARE THEN AGAIN THEY SUBMITTED MY BATTERY AND PHONE ON 19 FEB AND ASKED TO REPAIR IT UPTO 1ST OF MARCH BUT NOW I WANT ANSWER THAT R WE PEOPLE FOOL WHO WILL VISIT AGAIN AND AGAIN TO NOKIA CARE AFTER SIX MONTHS OF NEW PHONE?

                      Bought my new Nokia N8 phone on 30th october 2010 in the evening for approx. 24 thousand.On 1st of november 2010 my phone got dead in the afternoon. considering it to be a battery discharge problem we charged the battery and started the phone which started in 5 mins time. next day from morning to evening my phone gave the same problem thrice. we called the store from where we had bought the phone and asked for replacement because by then the frequency increased. Next day in the evening my phone went completely dead and would not start."The mobile store" from where we had bought the phone completely refused to help us and said we can replace the phone only within 48hrs. when i said i started getting problem within 48hrs still they coudnt help us.
                      Finally helpless we called the nokia helpline no. and they said you submit your phone at nokia care then only we can take the matter forward. We did as asked and within an hour my phone started working and i got it back. After an hour or so it went dead again. again we took it to nokia care and same thing followed. after an hour of leaving the nokia care my phone was dead again.
                      meanwhile email communication with nokia were on. Third time i went to nokia care and the representative there kept my phone for overnight observation. Now they are saying they will send my phone to nokia and in case my phone still has problem they will replace it with a working unit(not new) of same model.

                      now why should i take an old phone in exchange of my brand new phone which my husband gave to me as a gift from his hard earned money.
                      I want replacement by a brand new peice or my entire money back with compensation for this mental and physical torture to me for no fault of mine.

                      I have got my Nokia N8-00 on 05th Nov and the phone went dead inside 5 days. I have contacted Nokia Priority centres and they have advised me to contact Nokia Care.
                      I think i have just wasted 23K on this as i don't want to use a repaired phone.
                      I think Nokia should look into this issue on a priority basis and should replace with newer hand sets which dont have these problems.. Nokia are you listening?
                      i have read many complaints about this (n8) that it doesnt work properly after 2 to 3 days, why is this?

                      Really It is very irritating to face such problems after paying such a large amount for it.
                      The same problems are happening with my N8.
                      Did they replaced your set with a new one.
                      its a pathetic phone.

                      I have the same problem and along with that y charging slot has vanished. By this I mean that the hole where the pin of the charger goes is blocked by some part of the phone after 2 days of my buying the phone.

                      I have sold the new phone for 6000 rs less to the same shop from where i bought.

                        This is in regards to complaint about the worst service/repairing provided at Nokia care center (ESWARI DRADERS, JEYPORE ).


                        I am a resident of Jeypore town in Koraput district of Orissa. On 20th, October, 2010, I had given my Nokia Mobile phone Model N 82-1 With product code no.670551 at the Eswari Traders, Jeypore Nokia care center for servicing/repairing purpose.

                        The Problem in the cell was – back up battery empty (as mentioned in the service job sheet). I was assured by the service provider to come on 20.10.10 at 5.00 p.m & get the cell phone collected.

                        When I reached at Nokia care center to receive my cell phone on 20th, October, 2010, they made me wait for 2 hours and then told me that the battery has to be replaced with new one and it will take further 20 days’ time for delivery. When I enquired about the new battery on 10.11.2010 the service provider reiterated that new battery has not arrived yet and it will take another five days time for delivery.
                        This kind of attitude caused a lot of mental agony & irritation to me. This is sheer harassment to consumer and this counts as deficiency in providing service.

                        Hence I request you to register my complaint take up the matter with Nokia care authorities.

                          This is in regards to complaint about the worst service/repairing provided at Nokia care center (TELECONNECT, BHUBANESWAR).


                          I am a resident of Jeypore town in Koraput district of Orissa. On 2nd, November, 2010, I had given my Nokia Mobile phone Model N 82-1 With product code no.0571026 at the TELECONNECT, Bhubaneswar Nokia care center for servicing/repairing purpose.

                          The Problem in the cell was – camera not functioning & no blue tooth connectivity (as mentioned in the service job sheet). I was assured by the service provider to come on 03.11.10 at 10 a.m & get the cell phone collected.

                          When I reached at Nokia care center to receive my cell phone on 3rd, November, 2010, they made me wait for 30 minutes and then told me to come again by 11 a.m. When I came at 11 a.m, I was told to come at 12 p.m. This chain continued uninterrupted till 4 p.m. My mobile phone delivery time was being deferred for next half an hour or one hour perpetually. Ultimately they returned my mobile phone unrepaired.

                          This kind of attitude caused a lot of mental agony & irritation to me. This is sheer harassment to consumer. We spent entire day waiting for servicing the said mobile phone but it was in vain. Who is going to bear the charges & other incidental expenditures? Especially deficiency in providing service.

                          Hence I request you to take up the matter with Nokia care authorities & compensate me Rs.2000/-(towards to &fro fare from Jeypore to Bhubaneswar, Lodging/boarding & other related charges) within 15 days or else I will file a suite against the service provider.

                            Sir,
                            I bought a Nokia X6 from Univercell in Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu in July 2010. After 4 months there is a malfunction. I contacted Univercell showroom in Nagercoil and I was directed to go to Nokia Care. So i went to Nokia Care at 7:30 pm and I was told that I should come between 10 am and 7pm. Next day I went at 9.55 and waited till 10.20 am. I was told to keep waiting by an ill tempered lady. I sought the manager and I could not get a proper response from the sales-person(s) regarding his whereabouts. You get good response only if we have to change batteries or buy accessories.

                              COMPLAINT ON NOKIA CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE

                              I, Mangesh Dumbre am purchased the Nokia handset 5130c-2 W Silver on 03.11.2009 at Relation Electronics, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai – 400086 as per Bill No.2544 and the IMEI No.[protected]. My handset was worked fine but only Radio shown as switched off after put of headset also.
                              I thought my phone was in warranty period so on 30/08/2010 we gave this handset to your authorized Nokia Care Center at Fones For U, situated at 28, Prime Mall, Irla Lane, Vile Parle (West), Mumbai, Ph:[protected] /[protected]Head of Care Centre Mr. Rahul). I explain my problem as radio was not functioning after putting headset. (Jobsheet No.[protected]/100830/44) The desk executive who attend my complaint wrote No blue tooth connection. After enquiring, she told the connection of Bluetooth and radio is same inside. I ignored the same and after opening the said mobile by her executive he found one small white spot. They shown me and explain your mobile was damaged by water and now your warranty void and require to replace the card. She gave me budget for the same was Rs.1,638/- and told me the said mobile to our head office for replacement of card. We don’t have authority to do the same. There is no option to me because I blindly trust to NOKIA Care Center and agree to pay the said amount. After 3 day call came from the said care centre and told me your mobile was absolutely ready and you pay the amount of Rs.1,090/- for the same. When I saw the invoice, I told desk executive that my problem was only with radio and you charged me for Antenna Module-03, Switch Side and Camera – 02 (Invoice No.3502 dated 03.09.2010). In fact my camera was absolutely working condition. She replied it is connected parts so it was replaced. After long time waiting at service centre, I paid the amount and take back my mobile only on signing of the service job sheet because she told me, don’t worry, the mobile was fully examine by our service center.
                              After at around 1 month, I came back from my official tour and started to use of the said mobile, I found that the radio was working but after connection of headset, music player was not working. Without headset music player was also work. Then again I went to your customer care centre on 19.10.2010, (Jobsheet No.[protected]/101019/30) again executive on your care center gives me quotation of Rs.500/- for the repairing of fault and again I agree the same but at the time of taking delivery of the said mobile customer care executive again told me there is major fault in your phone and the quotation of the said fault repairing is Rs.1,090/- . Then I deny to pay the said amount. After hearing my say the head of Care Centre Mr. Rahul assure me to sort out my problem at the earliest. But till today they did not repair my said mobile phone.
                              I have following question in my mind :
                              1. Is this Nokia Warranty after sales?

                              2. After paying (approximately 20% cost of mobile i.e. Rs.1,090/-) in warranty period then also services was unsatisfied why?

                              3. In this competition age I brought china mobile on this repairing cost, then why customer trust on NOKIA Mobile?

                              4. If the Customer service centers do not fulfill my services then what is the use of customer care centers?
                              Kindly expedite my quarry at the earliest otherwise I will take step to go to consumer court.

                              The device has several problems as mentioned below
                              1. The handset was functioning well till May 2010 but was displaying wrong time of the messages. I brought this problem in the notice of Vimal Electronics.
                              2. In June 2010 there was a problem in unlocking the handset so I sent this handset to the repairing center through Vimal Electronics. I received the handset back by the end of June. Yet it had problems in July 2010.
                              .Again I sent he set to your care center and received back on 4.8.2010 but still I found that the set had still some problems like not unlocking, dis functioning of key pad.
                              It shows that either your care center doesn't care the handsets properly qr it is not possible to the center to repair the set or there is some production fault.
                              4. Dear Sir I am sending the handset again to the care center through Vimal Electronics. I want you to give me it in written that my handset will not create any problem after your repairing. If it is not possible for you to repair this handset my handset should be replaced
                              I couldn't avail he net banking service because of your failing to repair my handset. After every repairing all the data in the set gets vanished and that gives me terrible problem and loss. I can't accept the fact that a handset cannot be repaired by the prestigious company like Nokia. It certainly disgraces the Company.If my handset is not repaired properly this time, I will be free to lodge a legal complaint against your company.Only within 4 months my handset has failed to work and is still not functioning despite repairing twice.
                              I request you to give me the job caed of the repairing done to my handset.
                              I am lodging the complaint to the Nokia Company too.

                                This is Payal, I am using Nokia X3 since August 2010.

                                My Nokia Phone is not working Properly and My Operating system is so slow and gets hanged every now and then.
                                Dispite of the fact have complained abou the same at Nokia Priority 3 times (Infocity- Gandhinagar- Gujarat)- they say that there is some problem in the phone and even after repairing the same there is no Guarentee that it wouldd work properly.

                                I have not yet received any statisfactory answer or a solution.

                                Not happy with the handset and customer care services .

                                    I bought this handset Nokia 5233 in May 2010 for 6500/- and have experienced problems with this device form the day 1! Built to look (and feel) like the poor man’s i-phone, I had saved up for months to get myself a perfect solution from my favorite brand, only to be much disappointed shortly. I am a student and my family would have spent lakhs on Nokia since the mid 90’s, when the brand was first launched in India. I was naturally expecting the usual Nokia performance.
                                    But a few months later, and after scores of issues like the software malfunctioning to the device hanging constantly to now it heating up like a furnace brick after even talking for 10 mins, i am thoroughly disappointed with Nokia and regret sticking around with the brand when my friends have moved on to either I phones or have found cheaper, and more exciting brands. Add to this the apathetic & inefficient service center response, lack of any solutions, and i am wondering why i should not buy one of the hundreds of low end unbranded mobile handset brands that would perhaps offer better quality and service than you.
                                    Am not surprised that Nokia is losing out to more happening brands when it comes to expensive handsets and to the likes of Karbon, Micromax, Max, Motorola, Sony etc at the affordable end as they can not be any worse than Nokia, at much lower prices.

                                    I want to return this handset now and want my money back from Nokia with damages. No more repairs, no more sweet talking but ineffective sales and service people. I will not accept an irresponsible company to cheat me of my hard earned, hard saved money and give me trash in return. I would expect a response and my money within 7 days or will try the legal route to get it even if it costs me another 7k.
