COMPLAINT ON NOKIA CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE
I, Mangesh Dumbre am purchased the Nokia handset 5130c-2 W Silver on 03.11.2009 at Relation Electronics, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai – 400086 as per Bill No.2544 and the IMEI No.[protected]. My handset was worked fine but only Radio shown as switched off after put of headset also.
I thought my phone was in warranty period so on 30/08/2010 we gave this handset to your authorized Nokia Care Center at Fones For U, situated at 28, Prime Mall, Irla Lane, Vile Parle (West), Mumbai, Ph:[protected] /[protected]Head of Care Centre Mr. Rahul). I explain my problem as radio was not functioning after putting headset. (Jobsheet No.[protected]/100830/44) The desk executive who attend my complaint wrote No blue tooth connection. After enquiring, she told the connection of Bluetooth and radio is same inside. I ignored the same and after opening the said mobile by her executive he found one small white spot. They shown me and explain your mobile was damaged by water and now your warranty void and require to replace the card. She gave me budget for the same was Rs.1,638/- and told me the said mobile to our head office for replacement of card. We don’t have authority to do the same. There is no option to me because I blindly trust to NOKIA Care Center and agree to pay the said amount. After 3 day call came from the said care centre and told me your mobile was absolutely ready and you pay the amount of Rs.1,090/- for the same. When I saw the invoice, I told desk executive that my problem was only with radio and you charged me for Antenna Module-03, Switch Side and Camera – 02 (Invoice No.3502 dated 03.09.2010). In fact my camera was absolutely working condition. She replied it is connected parts so it was replaced. After long time waiting at service centre, I paid the amount and take back my mobile only on signing of the service job sheet because she told me, don’t worry, the mobile was fully examine by our service center.
After at around 1 month, I came back from my official tour and started to use of the said mobile, I found that the radio was working but after connection of headset, music player was not working. Without headset music player was also work. Then again I went to your customer care centre on 19.10.2010, (Jobsheet No.[protected]/101019/30) again executive on your care center gives me quotation of Rs.500/- for the repairing of fault and again I agree the same but at the time of taking delivery of the said mobile customer care executive again told me there is major fault in your phone and the quotation of the said fault repairing is Rs.1,090/- . Then I deny to pay the said amount. After hearing my say the head of Care Centre Mr. Rahul assure me to sort out my problem at the earliest. But till today they did not repair my said mobile phone.
I have following question in my mind :
1. Is this Nokia Warranty after sales?
2. After paying (approximately 20% cost of mobile i.e. Rs.1,090/-) in warranty period then also services was unsatisfied why?
3. In this competition age I brought china mobile on this repairing cost, then why customer trust on NOKIA Mobile?
4. If the Customer service centers do not fulfill my services then what is the use of customer care centers?
Kindly expedite my quarry at the earliest otherwise I will take step to go to consumer court.
