      I, BHARAT SURANA, want to lodge a complain against the NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE at GIRISH PARK, KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL, INDIA.

      I have been using Nokia 2700 Classic since four months. Just ten days before on 14th June 2010 my cell was not accepting any sim and had display problem too. The engineer there updated the software and changed the LCD. But after returning back from there, i noticed that the glass of my display screen was coming out. So on 16th i again went there but they didnt heard me initially but later just fixed that by some gum. But now my cell glass is completely unfixed.

      I would be thankful if my grievance is solved as soon as possible.

          I have purchased the Nokia handset 6700 Slide on 31 May 2010 from Nokia priority gallery at Irla(Vile parle) Mumbai.
          The edge of the handset is very sharp & on continuous listening/holding next to ear the ear gets sharp painful red line.
          I visited to dealer/Nokia Shop on 19 June 2010 for replacement of the 20 day old handset but they denied for the same & said they would take that handset 2nd hand piece at Rs.6000/-(60%) replacement value.
          I am disgusted about the service of a world class mobile manufacturer. kindly help to replace/exchange the handset as it is very painfull to use.

          I want Nokia's complaint/service manager/head details to escalate this issue.

          Nokia/ Nokia 6700 slide — product complaint & no help receiving

          Sir, I brought a Nokia 6700 slide from M/S acer's point, Dimapur on 12/07/2010! That sir, I could not use sm features like photo editing and video editing just aftr 2 or 3 days of buying d product! Bt i could not complain it at that time bcs i ws out of town for few days and was busy enough in some work! Now when I took the phone to the Nokia Care centre in dimapur, they told me to return it next day after repairing! But wen i went next day they said they could make it because they are unable to download the required software 4m internet! They said they will need 15 days bcz they have to send the handset to delhi! The reason they r giving is funny enough and shows their unwillingness to solve the problem! So I took d handset from them n went to the shop from whre i buy it! Bt d peoples in d shop were so rude n not willing to hear anything abt complains! i remember the same guys were on der heals to serve at the time of buying the product! I askd dem 2 let me talk to the owner but of no use! Sir, my point is we buy n pay 4 d product just because of the brand name Nokia! I request you to kindly help me in this matter so that i do not feel myself cheated by some local rough guys! Unfortunatly, this is my 3rd tym whre i m at the losing end as far as Nokia is concernd! Till now I kept my faith on Nokia and did not opt 4 any other brand, but now pls help me n kp my faith intact?

          This is Panneerselvam from Chennai.
          I bought Nokia 6700 Slide mobile on May 21, 2010. Initially got the below problems in the mobile
          1. Mobile got hang when incoming call comes in mobile is using Media Player. Then I need to open the back cabinet and take out and put the battery again and then switch on the mobile.
          2. Normally headset not detected. Everytime need to switch off and on the mobile for headset detecting
          3. Sometimes "Call summary" not shown when I attend the incoming phone call by using flip open.
          4. Mobile get restarts when sending Bulk SMS.
          5. Sometimes FM Radio volume is decreasing when after attending incoming call whille using FM Radio
          6. Mobile unable to switch on when the face the problem #1.
          ACCORDING TO TERMS AND CONDITION OF NOKIA INDIA AGAINST HANDSET is should be clear to all the NOKIA users
          that any service related discussion or complain will be entertained by qualified Service Engineer posted in Nokia Care Centro only. Therefore its of no use to Contact any other person who cannot help to give solution. This is common habit of buyers to contact seller or sales point and ask service support. but it is better to contact only service personnel as per nokia terms and condition. According to me ACER POINT is not the right person to be blamed. This is mistake of Mr Sunil Jain. i found according to his complain.

          I bought a Nokia 6700 slide on 1st January 2011 from Indus Electronic, Nokia's Authorised Dealer.
          The Phone is overall good but m facing a problem since last week. Wenever i receive call by sliding my phone upward...the person i call cannot here my voice...but i can clearly hear the other...but if the call is made or received without using the slider...then there is no problem in hearing

            Sir,
            On 18th ins. in Enadu telugu news paper there was an ad reg. Nokia 2690.,by THE Nokia Dealer in that they said every purchase in big c would be given a gift through scrtch card. .the ad was regarding Model 2690, and I was led to believe that the big C would honour their ad. I have purchased the said MODEL cell phone and a memory card of 2Gz by paying Rs.2800/-for the cell phone and 400 for the said card.After purchasing the same from Big C outlet at Sithafalmandi, Secunderabd, when I asked the personnel for the gift they said no, as the gifts are only for certain chosen models. Be that as it may but what the ad says and also in the same paper the Big C fellows published an item saying that THEY HAVE EXTENDED THE FACILITY TILL THE END OF jUNE10.This I feel is clear cheating of the public like me.Kindly say what reddressal is suitable in this situation.

                  I have purchased my mobile in december 2009
                  since then i am facing very serious problems
                  Some issues i faced i took my mobile to Nokia care for more than 6 to 7 times
                  3 times for software issues and other for very serious 1's
                  primary issue s phone memory s been eaten up applying themes from memory card's memory, and wen ever u open music player it will ask u to delete data for processing and your mobile will be dead slow too..
                  later i have discovered that problem of my own by experiencing, but i[censored] the ask the dirty nokia proffesionals they cant identfy whats the problem and then they simply define the problem in a single great term
                  everbody might have caught that what am trying to say ya it is none other than "VIRUS"

                  This problem is also in other nokia phones and models aswell & myself helped my friends by telling them not to apply theme by keeping it in memory card, transfer it to phone memory and apply it

                  And Facing Problem From Very first day of my purchase
                  poor battery backup
                  Poor imaging
                  slow processing
                  Images like illusion (BLURED) some thing that similar shown in 13B Movie
                  Display Failed Blank Screen
                  sound getting poor and poor day by day
                  poor video recording and imaging something even worse than VGA
                  Radio doesnt work propely most time yet it s software issue till very frustrating
                  So on...

                  Having bunch of copys of invoices gave by NOKIA CARE still facing problems
                  EVERY MORNING I WOKE UP I FOUND A PROBLEM WITH MY MOBILE

                  AFTER ALL THESE GOT VEXED ASKED FOR REPLACEMENT MANY TIMES
                  everytime i go there they ll take my mobile from me to delhi returning without solving a major issues even if solved it will reoccur

                  NOKIA AND ITS BLOODY CARE ????????????????????????treating people like

                  Best way to avoid all these is to avoid nokia
                  Go for someother and make ur money worth
                  Only thing in nokia is prices are resonable and user frieldly execpt that nothing do with it

                  Still I Love My Phone because Its My money and its sentimental

                  NOTE FOR PEOPLE TAKE XEROX COPYS OF INVOICES AND KEEP IT SAFE u may file case in consumer court with those as evidence and u can ask for replacement i[censored] have more than 3 invoices with Heavy Conflict(mobile returned without solving issue)

                        Dear Sir

                        I had purchased a Nokia 5130c-2 Red mobile set, bearing IMEI : [protected] on 3rd April 2010. After about a month I found that the battery of the mobile was discharging within 24 hours. On complaining to the dealer the battery was changed but the problem of fast discharging of the battery within 24 hours persisted.

                        On taking the set to the NOKIA Care centre on 14th June 2010, the software of the set was said to be updated, thereby slightly improving the battery discharge though not to my full satisfaction. When the battery of my other old sets were discharging after 3 to 4 days, the repaired new one continued to discharge within 30 hours.

                        Since I am unable to find any solution to this, I presume the present set of your batteries in the market are of defective in nature.

                        In view of the above I request you take necessary steps to provide me a defective free battery.

                        Nokia Mobile Battery — defective battery

                        I had purchased Nokia Handset With BL-5C battery(S.No[protected]) from M/s ANKIT MOBILE, Shop No1, Sun Sine Building, 1, Nai Sarak,JODHPUR (Raj) vide cash memo no 892 dated 30.03.2006.

                        Within five month itself, the battery started giving problems. Even after charging it fully, it used to get drained off very fast(sometimes even in the middle of the conversation). On approaching the dealer from whom I purchased the battery, he refused to entertain the complaint or give me a replacement. He simply washed his hands off the episode, saying that it was the duty of the customer care department of the company to give the replacement.

                        I then approached the Nokia Customer Care in Distt Centre, Jodhpur. They too pleaded helplessness, saying that they do not keep the spare batteries for replacement in stock, and that I would have to deposit the battery, and get the replacement after a week or so. The dealer as well as customer care department refused to give me a standby replacement.

                        Now it is well evident, that mobile is the only connection to the world while you are on a move. And without a battery in my phone, I'm virtually cut off from the world, and losing important business calls. All this is having a disastrous effect on my business.

                        You are requested to kindly intervene in the matter and give me appropriate redressal.

                              I bought Nokia 5130 in the month of April 10 from a very same day I found my cell having very poor battery back up... I visited to near by Nokia Customer care situated near dakbangla road patna...they said its happening due to old software n submitted my handset and asked me to come after 2 days at 1 PM.
                              When I visited to customer care I got to found all people passing lame excuses and asked me to come next day as the software is still not updated...I was very annoyed and asked for my phone immeadiatedly after that i got my cell phone informing the problem is resolved.
                              The hell happened with me the set was still in the same condition and battery back up is still very low. I than visited to other Nokia customer care situated in boring road patna, I cannnt describe the manner in which they replied with me informing to leave the phone with them for 15 days as they need to send the handest to company I got the intension of those people in customer care who is making fool to general public they really cannot resolve the problem of customer bt get it modified by such stupid statement of keeping the cell phone for more than 15 days...
                              AS I need the phone badly for my business purpose I cant left the cell phone fpor so long THe problem wid the handset is still continue.... I know I am a poor customer fooled by this branded Comapny like NOKIA.
                              The conclusion...
                              1) Never buy NOKIA cell phone becoz dey are big cheater n providing useless product even second hand product is better than the new one.

                              2)The customer care service is pathetic n useless.

                              3) Never go n buy any product from Mobile store becoz they cannot take the soul responsibilty f the product they sell better to buy frm vendors.

                              please take harsh steps against NOKIA n its so called customer care.
                              N never buy NOKIA 5130 as it has lots of problems.

                              But it could not be with all others. Nokia phones are the best phones in the market.
                              I live nokia phones they are reliable.

                                  I purchase two mobiles from “The mobile store” sanman complex vastrapur, ahmedabad. The first one was 6303i about 3 weeks back and the second one 6700 slide yesterday only. I preferred mobile store just because of originality issue. However, today morning I experienced a very strange problem with 6303i. The home page “ON SCREEN” display has some sort of thin digital noisy strip at the base. It persisted in subsequent applications also, even after changing the theme. Because of that I am unable to visualize the options displayed at the very bottom of screen. The sales person Mr. Deepak emphasized that in case of any software or hardware related issue our engineer can come to your doorstep to solve the same. Also I never expected so frequent problem with nokia handset as I am using nokia since last 8 years. Please help me to get rid of this issue

When I consulted nokia showroom, they are saying this issue doesn't come under warranty. (There is no damage to screen or mobile handset body... but still they are saying there may be damage done to mobile).

                                      I purchased a nokia e-71 handest, but after sometimes it create some problems
                                      SEVERAL TIMES HANG while operating then i go to nokia service centre at hurdutt rai chamaria road in howrah. but they had not given me good response, infact i submitted my handset four times one of the job card no is[protected]/100521/34,
                                      therefore, my humble request to you please provide me proper feedback, as such i used too nokia handset.
                                      I shall be highly, obliged so take necessary steps as earlier as possible.

                                        I have purchased One Set of Nokia E63 Handset on 28.05.2010. The said mobile handset had following defects:
                                        1. Battery Charger is not working.
                                        2. E63 mobile is getting hanged on certain occasion.
                                        3. Main Menu is not displaying on certain occasion even on pressing Main menu button.

                                        On 29.05.2010 around 10:00 am in the morning I have approached the seller with these defects in my handsets. The seller agreed that E63 mobile handset of mine contains the defects and I have request to issue me DOA for the Handset and arrange for the replacement of the E63 handset. However on my request to replace the defective handset, the seller has started quarrel with me by saying all the handset of Nokia in E Series of mobile handsets contains the Problem No 2 and 3 mentioned above. Further he agreed to give new Mobile battery charger in place of defective battery charger.

                                        My efforts continued till 03.06.2010 for the replacement of my E63 handsets. On 03.06.2010, the seller had completely denied to replace my handsets in the beginning by saying he is not responsible for any defects in handset and he further added that if I want to replace my Handset, I shall sue Nokia India Private Limited as they have manufactured the Handsets. However on my further persuasions, the seller took wrong stand that as I have damaged the Outer Body of my handset, hence if I pay Rs. 500/- to him, he can arrange for my handset replacement. I like to inform to the company that my E63 handset does not contained any damage in outer or inner body. Further there exists not even a single scratch in my cell phone as I have not even used the Handset for One day.

                                        Sir,

                                        I purchased a Nokia Phone (Model N79- EMEI No. [protected] ) from HOTSPOT, Dwarka vide Bill No. 3131 dated 20/03/2010 for Rs. 13000/-.(Photocopy of Receipt Enclosed). Just after two days of purchase of my phone it hanged. I switched the phone off and again put it on, it started working. I continued with this process for quite some time, since it was not possible for me to visit Nokia Care Centre as my attendance with my wife who is on dialysis requires my presence with her all the twenty four hours. She is on CAPD (doing dialysis at residence four times a day – require one hour each time). One day the incoming calls stopped coming to me. I again did the same thing like switching it on and off. Since it was too much, the phone was new I went to HOTSPOT from where I purchased the phone. They directed me to Nokia Care Centre in Dwarka and also gave me main Nokia Care Centre Phone No.[protected] – Perhaps based at Bangalore). I approached Nokia Care Centre Dwarka and was told there is something wrong with Software. They did something and it was working (presumably the samething switch it on and off). The very next day my phone again hanged. They told me that I should used the GB Card (Memory Card) after scanning the same. I got the GB Card scanned for Rs. 100/- and inserted the same in the phone. The very next day my phone again hanged. I again visited them and I was directed that I should use my phone without GB Card (Memory Card) for few days. I did it accordingly, but the phone again hanged. They took my phone to be sent to main Nokia Workshop (Perhaps at Mathura Road). It came back from there almost after eight days. I collected the phone from Dwarka Nokia Care Centre after handing over the jobsheet. The next day the phone gave the same problem. I went back to Nokia Care Centre. They took my phone and told me it will be checked by them and used for some time. They further told me that I should not use wifi. Since I have paid money for the phone having wifi facility, I do not think it is reasonable to tell a customer that he should not use wifi, even when he has paid for this facility. However, with this process still there was no improvement. Even in front of the Nokia Care Representative, once my phone started working and then and there itself it again hanged. They again decided to send the same to their main workshop. It remained again in the main workshop for few days and then I collected it from the Nokia Care Centre. The GB Card, battery and back cover were removed by them and same were handed over to me before sending the phone to the main Workshop. On receipt of my phone, their representative inserted the GB Card (Memory Card) in the phone. Since the phone was collected in the evening they were about to close the office I came back to my residence and noted that the Contacts which were put as backup in the Memory Card cannot be restored. I immediately phoned Nokia Care Centre[protected] to solve my problem. As was being I directed, I started doing the same way. At one point they told me to Click at “RESTORE”. I could not find that word “RESTORE” in the phone. Ultimately they told me I can take it to Nokia Care Dwarka they will restore it for me since already earlier two times they have done this procedure when they collected my phone for repairing or sending onward to main workshop. They further told me that I should get my contacts retrieved through computer/laptop through PC Suit. They expect that any person purchasing their mobile should also have computer/laptop and should be an expert in this field, which is not possible for every customer. Anyhow I approached Nokia Care Centre, they checked my phone but could not find the word “RESTORE” and showed their inability to do anything. This problem developed after my phone came back from their main workshop second time. Previously this problem was not there. On my asking whether anything in the GB Card (Memory Care) can be retrieved or not, their reply was now nothing can be retrieved from the Memory card to phone (new problem). I asked the Nokia Care Centre to take back my phone and if they wish can send it back to their main Nokia Care Centre. Now they refused to accept my phone and they behaved very rudely and told me to “GET LOST”. I am a senior citizen and cannot expect such treatment from these people. As mentioned above, my wife is under dialysis and my presence with her all the time (24 hours) is necessary. I know as to how I was able to manage it and visit Nokia Care Centre again and again. This is the only my mode of communication with my children, family and other friends. Even whenever the phone had remained with Nokia Care Centre, I have always remained cut off from all my social contacts. The phone is new and started giving me problem from the very beginning, still I was able to accept it if is repaired and it works properly.

                                        I kept Nokia Care also informed through E-mails.
                                        It can be seen as to how much harassment I am facing. Now I am completely exhausted, hence I have no other option except to approach you for redressal my grievances.

                                        In view of the above, I would request that either my Nokia Phone (same model or with any compatible model) can be exchanged or else amount of Rs. 13000/- which was the cost of the phone paid by me should be refunded. Now I do not want this phone to get it repaired since too much has been done with this phone. I do not know as to what will be in store in future with this phone. Perhaps I may get some more problems. Besides this, I would further like to claim compensation amounting to Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) as litigation, harassment and other expenditure incurred by me.

                                        Nokia Mobile handset — Cheated By Seller and Nokia

                                        Dear sir,

                                        we had purchsed a NOKIA Mobile Handset Model No. 6500 C batch no. [protected] from M/S Bobtel, shop No. 60 , Maharaja Kameshwer complex Frazer Road, Patna -800001 Tel No.[protected] against invoice No. MT/09-10/10734 dated[protected], after the purchse wither 2 month this handset not working then we go to Nokia Care many Times but they dont kept the handset for repairing, during our last visit they asked that warrenty of this handset ended on dated[protected] One Year Befor of Purchase date) and said that this modle of nokia having Manufaturing Defect and not possible to repair. and give us the Warrenty report too.

                                        We had tried many time to nokia care online but they never respond for solution.

                                        So you are reqested that please lookafter the matter.

                                        NOKIA INDIA PVT LTD. — Problem with handset and no replacement

                                        I have purchased a nokia 701 phone on 02/10/2011 from Nokia priority dealer (All saint communication Ahmadabad India) in price 17000.00 INR ( invoice number- 3491), IMEI No:- [protected], with 12 hours I have gotten problem in network connectivity and all network including GPS, internet got disconnected. On 03/10/2011 I have given mobile to nokia dealer and they jus replaced the factory setting and revert me back. On 04/10/2011 I have again faced the same problem so I have gone to nokia dealer and he told me to come on next day and he will replace the mobile. But when I given mobile to dealer he refused to replace the mobile by saying that mobile have a very minute scratch and company will not replace it. then they sent it to service center after repair again only 10-12 hour it works and creates the same problem. Please help me to replace the mobile because I am facing a lot of problem with this.
