Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to raise one complaint against Nokia care of Chandigarh-22, I recently (10 April 2010), handed over my Nokia 7210 Supernova set Nokia Care (Chanidarh-22). It was having some keypad problem. I was finding hurdle while operating it; pressing one button would have resulted out into wrong output over and again. It was still in warranty period. So, to enjoy the privilege; I thought of handing over it to Nokia Care (Chandigarh Sector-22).
Would like to furnish more details as below:

Since the time I have given it for repair, they come up with new excuses while I visit them to collect my mobile set quite an often. It usually turns out into uncertain disputes every time and disappointed me.
After all this bad incident, I am hurt, and I wish to raise this issue to management as well as administration of Nokia care; I was delivered wrong information regarding the return of my repaired mobile set and experienced misbehaviour with guest/customer.
They cannot be considered as educated customer care executives, I am sorry to say that they all behave like uneducated people. I request for the support from management side as well hope to get my mobile set at the earliest.

    Hello everyone,
    i am Laeeq form hyderabad and i bought nokia N79 form Nokia priority dealer on 11th january 2010.
    i worked good for 3 months and after that PROBLEMS started.
    i visited so many times to NOKIA CARE CENTRE but my problem is not solved.
    It has so many problems like no battery back up, WI FI problem, switch off.
    i gave my mobile for repair THREE times but still not solved.
    After spending a heavy amount of Rs14,000 i got this bad mobile.
    i am very much disappointed by NOKIA and my phone is still with them.
    Everytime i ask they say that phone is with main head office and sometimes say there is software problem etc.........

    Nokia N79 — Defective Handset...

    hello,

    My name is Ajmerwala Amin,i bought Nokia N79 from nokia priority shop just before around 2 weeks and started using it just before 2-3 days from now and when i saw my phone in dark, i noticed there was some king of light leaking near multi media key, i found it very strange.Because how far i know N79 doesnt comes with such thing, and wen i looked it closely, i found that that keyplate near mutimedia key is actualy broken and i got shocked that it is actualy defected handset and i got back to priority dealer and show it to them but thay said we are not responsible for anything but selling handsets. i even called care line for help regarding to this and they asked to to go to Nokia care, i went there also and they said that "this is defected handset it'll be better to go to the priority dealer as you are using this handset just from 2-3 days and u notice this problem...as nokia doesnt cover any warrenty on cosmetics..." and all such thing. Now i m realy disapointed with such thing that i got new mobile..and that is also from priority dealer thinkin that if there'll b any problem in future, i'll not have to suffer even after investing 14-15K... but look this...i got the mobie defacted, i didnt even used it for hours... i want this problem to be solved. Please help me out and give me proper solution... i didnt expected that after buying a brand new nokia in damaged condition... and nokia 'll not even look at this case... i have very much trust on nokia brand as you can understand no1 can see such defact at the time of buyin or within few days...even i saw it in the dark when i got msg and light got lit...i thing i m losing trust.. reply me as soon as possible about what to do next... i want the whole body to be changed or the whole handset.... help me with this...i dont wana waste my money like this...and i found out that their is no benifit of buying things from priority shop if they don even take any responsibility.

    The N79 is a very buggy phone from the firmware to the hardware. I myself being an N79 customer can tell this. Listen my phone developed a blank screen problem. I took it to Nokia Care, they told me my warranty is void as there is liquid in my device. I was shocked as there has been no water spill to my phone. I took my phone back.

    I sent a notice to Nokia head office about my issue requesting for replacement or i will sue them and will approach media. And after 4 days they replied and told they will replace my phone. The next day i was given a brand new sealed N79 from Nokia care. You can do the same.

        my name is sandeep sarathefrom bhopal . i would like to complain regarding mobile handset (nokia 5233) which is purchased from MAHALAXMI mobile shop 25 malviya nagar bhopal on 6 may 2010 at 9pm.when i came to my home within 2 hrs my phone was dead automatically when i went to nokia service centre MP nagar they advice me according to DOA my handset should replace within 48 hrs frm shop keeper when i went the shop he sent me on service centre again which is located in malviya nagar so they rectify my handset but after battery starts heating so the service centre people sent me to the shop keeper again their he taken my phone and original bill and i have a photo copy of that bill he assured me in the evening by 7 o clock he will provide me new handset but he didn't provde yet and he told me that by tommorow at 5 o clock he will provide the handset again.Im very scarred that my problem will resolve or not. So plz resolve my issue and do the needful im very scarred because my money is their plz do me the faiver and do the needful

          I have bought Nokia 5800d-1 on Nov 2009 at coimbatore. This phone doesnt work properly, it gets restarted often,screen flashing, poor quality of materials,data loss, etc. With all these problem they sold it for 13800 INR.This makes me to feel bad & upset about this product.

              s its true i bought it 2 days b4 and charged for 8 hrs the battery life came to 1 day only. Is Nokia Listening Please Fix this issue ASAP

              nokia 5530 — Bad service and mishandling

              I have purchased a new 5530 last August(IEMI NO :[protected]). After 6 monts, the on off swhitch of mobile handset is not properlywoking, so that this set givento the nokia shop i.e croma shop, janak puri where this set was purchase. This handset was deposit for repair to the shop on 17june 2011, where this was purchased. After 2 month they return this set without reair with the broken body. In our set the only fault (on off switch). I don"t know where the body of the handset is borken either the Nokia repair shop or the corma shop. But at the time of submit for repiring set is not broken. And again they sent to Nokia repair shop till now, we have not heard any good News from the repair shop. Nokia is very reputed company, am very surprised, a very small fault is not handle properly. My family always purchase Nokia set for last 10 years & not trust to any other company brand accept this one. Till now i havn't receive it (20/08/2011). This hand set is with the extended warrenty. You know in this world without phone, the life is very tough and no connectivy with the others.

              I once again request you to kinly rectify the fault & replace the body of the set with the new one. I am living without this phone for the 2 month, which is a basic need for life. Now I am not setisfiy with your services and want early solution to get my Phone.
              I approached to the Nokia care centre in Tilak nagar Delhi-NCR for repairance purpose.

                I bhought a new nokia 5233.The phone's gallery doesnt open at all.Its work so slow.when i ask the shop which i bhought this mobile "the mobile store,adyar" but they respond to me so rudely.They said there is a virus in my mobile without check inside,but when i open anti-virus scanner in my computer.Its say there is no warning or virus.I dont know what to do. i guess my rs7500 is useless.Please help me!!

                    We have purchased a Nokia 1203 handset on 17MAR10,at Nokia priority dealer at Rajbhavan,Somajiguda.The battery backup was not good so we went to the nearest Silico mobile service center on 26.April.2010,they replaced the handset but the problem was same.So my request is to take strick action against Nokia.

                      I bought Nokia E 71 with S.No. - [protected] , there is a manufacturing, defect in the handset, the front camera hole is missing in the cover.
                      I realized this error while testing 3G in our network, it dint show any response while trying the front camera, It was a shocker since i was using 2 E71 handsets and this one on close noticed was a different.

                      Also the handset hangs alot and works noticeably slow.

                          I ,Mrs.Kanchan Gupta resident of Jammu purchased an Mobile handset Nokia 5030 from the dealer M/s Bhushan Radios Jammu Bill No 13310 Dated 19/10/2009,worth rupees 1900.But unfortunately the said Nokia 5030 handset had an defect with its keypad. So,I went to the nokia customer care center EMM ERR Computers,1/B ,Municipal Market<near J&K Bank Bakshi Nagar Jammu Ph.No 2581080 ,to rectify my mobile keypad problem but the Nokia center official said me that the Keypad doesn’t come in handset warranty so un-willingly I had to purchase a new Nokia 5030 handset keypad for rs.450,with just one month warranty (written on the retail invoice ). But being an poor lady I was not able to afford such a price but I paid it.The said handset Nokia 5030 is still in warranty .The Nokia mobiles are already having warranty of 1year from the date of purchase. I request that kindly file an complaint against Nokia Customer Care and take an strict action so that in near future these Nokia Customer Care people shouldn’t cheat on poor people and also I want my money back which I paid for handset keypad. I have full faith in your forum.

                          I've Nokia N95.
                          My display (screen ) went blank in Jan 09, So I went to Nokia Customer Care, Koramangala. My cell was under warrenty till March 09. They fixed it and said it was because of Virus in my memory card. However thing worked fine till 15th May 09 when the same problem repeated. I went back to NCC, Koramangala and they said that the display had gone bad and since it is not under warranty, they charged me 2300Rs. Everything looked fine for a week from them and my display went bad again. I went back to NCC and they said they will check and get back, after 45 mins they come with an old display which had lots of scratches on it and started to blame me that if I had replaced the display 1 week back, how can my dispaly have scratches on it. (They were referring to the scratched on the the inside of the diplay, the steel cover). I replied to them, they need to answer that how could they charge me 2300rs when they have either not fixed a new display at all or put in some old display from some other mobile. Prakash, their manager then comes and says that he wil get this fixed without any charges, but they don't have a display card currently. He wil call me in 2-3 days n let me know when the part comes and the mobile is fixed.

                          This is called "Day light Cheating"

                          Yesterday i was taking on my phone suddenly it become hangup after that i have removed the battery and again i have insert the battery & i have switched on.
                          Now my phone is working properly but only white screen is showing.
                          can you tell me what is the problem.

                            I bought N97 mini (Pdt code: 0585427; ESN/IMEI No: [protected]; Warranty Ref No: APAINY[protected] a month back from Croma store at Ameerpet, Hyderabad. Since the time I bought my phone I am facing a lot of issues as follows viz.,
                            a) phone hangs up very frequently and then the only option is to remove battery and re-insert to restart.
                            b) name of sender is not displayed in sms most of the time
                            c) time of sms coming into inbox is mostly one hour late...this is seen even when i do self sms...the time shown in 'sent' and the time shown in 'inbox' is different by almost an hour...

                            I would like to register my deep sense of frustration at the product I have had the misfortune of buying!

                            The N97 mini was bought to ensure that my company email (lotus notes) is configured so that I can be on the move. My job as in sales means that I move around quite a bit and also that I need to access mails frequently to give my approvals for a host of things.

                            However since taking N97mini, all my work related issues have aggravated.

                            I gave the phone to the Nokia Care srvice centre (Silicon Mobile Service; Somajiguda, Hyderabad) and they gave back the mobile in one day saying all issues are sorted. I found to my dismay that nothing had changed. On 26th Apr 2010 I again went to same centre and gave back my mobile. This time I have been told that I will have to wait for a max of 10 working days since the mobile will be sent to Delhi for further check.

                            During this period I have been given a standby N70 mobile which is useless for the purpose for which I took N97 mini.

                            My question to Nokia team is that is this customer service? When a customer buys a product from an Organization which is as reputed as theirs, should he go though all these pains?

                            And especially when the model is one of their premium ones and their latest models?

                            Is this how Nokia Cares? I want a new replacement for my mobile.

                            NOKIA 97 MINI — irresponsible and improper behavior

                            I have purchased a N97 mini from MOILE STORES< AYYANAVARAM on 13.03.10(bill dated 14.03..10) . The baterry is very weak and given service to the above NOKIA CARE (RAKSHA IMPEX,Medavkkam Road, KILPAUK,CHENNAI.600 010) last month vide service order100331/68, and they have updated the software. Eventhen the battery is very weak and draining quickly again. I have taken the mobile to the same NOKIA CARE srevice station, work order taken 100424/95 on 24.04.10 and the service personnel was behaved in a unplesant way and was not in a position to explain the problem and I want to meet the service Manager , for which he refused and told whatever you can do, it is not possible to rectify here as the facilities are not available here in a very hard language and bodylanguage. I was totally upset of this kind of behavior from thr NOKIA CARE and returned back.Kindly justyfy the behavior of NOKIA CARE service personnel and let me know what should I do for rectify my prblem.

                            i own a nokia n97 mini IMEI [protected] and I am facing similar problems as yours.the name of the message sender does not get displayed in my phone's inbox, and when i went to nokia care they told me to backup my contacts and format the phone as they thought my phone's got some sort of virus..i did the same and my problem was sorted..albeit just for a day..and the very next day the same problem started..this time i was suggested to remove all the apps and to format again..and i did the same..but i m still facing the same problem.i am utterly frustruated with this problem as its really difficult to trace the person who is messaging as i get dozens of messages each day..otherwise the phone is working perfect for me..anyone please help!!

                            Nokia / N-97 Mini — Software Issue

                            i had purchased the above handset from Nokia Outlet at Irla, Vile Parle on[protected]. However since last couple of months the handset gets hanged every now and then. i have visited 3 nokia service centre and re- installed the software, however the same problem persist. I have not uploaded any external software, which was confirmed by the nokia care centre. It is very difficult for me to visit the nokia care centre every alternate day and get the software replaced again and again. I am fed up with the handset and think i have made a grave mistake in selecting this product.

                            Nokia N97 Mini — Issue with the phone

                            I bought a Nokia N97 Mini on 10th September 2010 from Nokia Gallery. The works fine, but I noticed one very unusual thing near the earphone of the handset.

                            The area near the earphone is a bit rased. It means that the layer of material that is on the top is not been fitted properly a bit rased.

                            I took the phone to Nokia Gallery and they said that its normal and that the phne will not malfunction do to this problem.

                            Now my question is that a defect is a defect, whether its technical or physical. I tried convincing them that I have spent a huge amount of my hard earned money on this phone, but they just kept repeating that the phone will work fine.

                            Why should I pay 100% of the amount and settle for something that is not 100%

                            Can something be done about this? Can I get a replacement of my phone?

                            I dont understand that how can a company like Nokia let this defect cell phone get past through the Quality Control test.

                            I am facing the same problem. Not able to open message box, settings and many other application, it just gets hang.
                            And I brought it 5 days back. In just 5 days it is showing this kind of behavior.

                            it gets hanged after every 10 mins without any specific reason.and there is no customer satisfaction from nnokia care centre as well.
                            if this would continue furthur i will never buy nokia in the future

                            Nokia N97 Mini — software hangs up all the time

                            I have a nokia n97 mini from the 15th of Aug'10 but from the last few days my cell is getting hanged up a lot and the nokia care people are also not able to find the fauly.

                            I have twice visited the nokia care but both the times they have just formatted my mobile but all in vain.
                            They say there is no fault in my mobile but still my cell is getting hanged up all the time.

                            I am very much frustrated from my mobile and if this is the quality ( handsets as well as service ) of Nokia then I would recommend everybody NOT to buy any handsets of nokia make.

                            I want nokia to replace my handset with a new one and preferably with another model which doesn't show so many faults and problems..

                            NOKIA N 97 Mini — phone does not work

                            Dear Consumer Complaints,

                            I purchased Nokia N 97 Mini in Feb 2010 from NOKIA PRIORITY at CHINCHWAD.
                            Just within 10 days a started facing problems of device switching off automatically, I reported this in Nokia Care and my device got replace for free.
                            Now the replaced mobile is giving me the same problems which I was facing previously.
                            Now again after a period of about 11 to 13 months i started facing with the problems like mobile getting switched off often, Screen touch functions does not works, Keypad gets locked automatically, after charging full battery within a span of half hour the mobile goes in switch off mode.
                            I m really fed up.
                            Its useless of paying such huge amount to brand like Nokia for such very very cheap mobile.
                            I just wish and I want my money back or replacement of any other model.

                            Kindly help in this matter please. i am frustated because nokia boasts of being largest in mobile companies.

                            Nokia N97 I — Hanging Problem

                            I have Nokia N97 I and i have replaced it from Nokia care due to running of hanging problem but after replacement i am still facing same problem. I believe on Nokia means the Nokia name is enough for Brand but this time i am really very disappointed with Nokia N97 model. please do the needful.

                            Nokia N97 Mini — Aftersales wait for warranty expiration

                            I have used 5 nokia handsets over the last 11 years, always being faithful to the company which i always thought made the best phones and aftersales. However I was dissappointed this time. I have had my N97 mini for almost a year and a half, and it has always had some bugs...mainly the battery life being short and the touchscreen being variable in response. While it was under warranty, I thrice gave to Nokia Care for correction and all they ever did was re-load the firmware, something that i myself did a couple of times after that as thats all they ever did and the phone became allright for a couple of months after that. They offered me extension of warranty at the end of one year but as they were only ever reloading my firmware, I refused. I stopped using my phone 2 months back as the battery life had become very poor, discharging in just one phonecall and the touchscreen would work whenever it felt like and not work otherwise. I took it Nokia care again and this time they tell me it would cost me Rs 8,000 as they had to replace the Power I/c & the touchscreen. I dont even know if they checked it properly as without my simcard, the touchscreen works fine. My brother who bought the same phone with me has similar problems. My sister bought the same phone 6 months later and she is already complaining about the battery life. I am dissapointed in the fact that while the phone was good the aftersales to back it werent that great and left a problem to be solved after i ran out of warranty so that i have to dish out a sizeable amount for repairs. You may say that i should have gone for the warranty extension, but let me tell you, while my phone was in warranty, those guys didnot instill much confidence in me about their problem finding and solving skills and so i decided against it. I am definitely going to switch to samsung this month.

                              Hi....i'm Ramesh Kasver,i bought Nokia 3110c handset in may 2009,the problem started 4-5 months later,phone was blinking black and white and did not start again. I went to nokia care center in ambala,they said there is a software problem in the phone.I got it right that time,but again after a month there was that same problem,i took the phone to nokia care center in karnal.I querried whats the reason they assure me this is not a big problem and this will not happen again. But after 20-25 days the problem came back,i got it right again from karnal nokia care center.I requested them to give me permanent solution but again the same assurity came. Now again after a month and half the problem rises. I have visited nokia care 4 times to repair my phone and who knows when it is going to be my next tour to a nokia care office. They are not providing me the permanent solution,there is a problem in handset and it is arising again and again,this is enough .....i called to central nokia care but they too denied my request,after a month my gurantee period will expire after thet what will i do?????? no one answered,i never expected this type of response from nokia ,so baaaaaaaaaaaaad......

                                Hello,
                                I am Neha Pandey ... user of Nokia 5523. I bought this mobile phone on 18-Mar from Axiom telecommunications – Select City Walk-New Delhi. After 2 days ... the phone got starting hang while using, if it’s all application would have been closed.
                                Post 10 days .. Its mike had been stopped working. If someone called me then .. i can hear the caller voice and the person is on other side was not able to hear me. I immediately went to Nokia Service-Centre situated in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi (Service Centre name: Platinum Technocrats). I visited there and have shared each and every problem with the executive. He had responded that this phone is completely scrapped and it can’t be used further anymore and it will be replaced with new handset. As per job sheet ... the delivery date was 16-Apr .. i went there however i didn’t get my phone and they gave another delivery date of 27-Apr ( it was written commitment by the Service Centre Owner-Sarvinder Chauhaan). On 27-Apr.. i visited there again , and the owner was not there but his wife – Archana Chauhaan was there . She told me to wait for 15-20 minutes, as they were doing QC check on my handset. After QC check... They have given me my phone back ... i checked my phone then and there only.. the same issues were there at that point time also. I immediately called that lady and discussed each and everything. Being a girl this is not possible for me that i go there daily and sit and doing wait for resolution of my complaint. When i didn’t get my cell phone on 27-Apr , i have started shouting because i felt very bad about me that why i bought Nokia Phone and i was phone-less for last 1 month. The lady – Mrs. Archana Chauhaan had started shouting and her wording was “It will neither be replaced nor repaired – do whatever you want ... take it to wherever you want ..” and she thrown my phone on table. I immediately called Police there and in the interim the Owner has come ... and he was giving threatening to me .. That call police and my father is Deputy Commissioner in Delhi Police. The Police had reached there and i took him through to the entire story and the settlement was done .. Owner said sorry and he committed me that i will get my phone by 29-Apr. On 30-Apr i called to Mrs. Archana Chauhaan and had asked about my phone she told me that they had sent my phone to HO and it has not been rectified till yet and again she is making excuses , that she will give my phone on Monday and also .. she was not providing any assurance that whether i will get it or not .I am working with SBI credit cards .. and i am very much aware that how we can teach customer-centricity to such kind of people . They should learn how to deal with the customers and how to make them happy. Earlier we have proud to be Nokia-user .. but i am very sorry to say that i even never recommend it to anyone. Its the organisation who manufactures bad quality mobile phones and have poor staffing... And will surely file a case in Consumer Court.
                                I hope this letter will be addressed promptly and my problem will be resolved within 7 days of time span.
                                In case it is not resolved within a week’s time, please mention whom shall I contact next for getting an early solution.

                                    I purchased Nokia 5800 Xpress music mobile on 5th jan 2009. my bad luck is i got a display complaint after completing the warrenty. Display is not working fine now. Some horizontal lines are appearing on the display. Nokia care people are telling to handover the phone for observation and software update. However they are not sure about the bug fix with that. They are also telling that this may be hardware issue.
                                    How come i loose my set just for 1 year if it is a hardware problem.

                                    Please advice.

                                      i bought a Nokia 5130c one month before. main problem in this set is at the time of SMS some it get restart and battery backup is very poor. i also shown this set to Nokia care at ballabgarh and they load the software again but the problem is as it is. so please tell me what to do.
