I Advait Mahendru wanted to buy Nokia 5230 from Nokia Priority Dealer of Pune:Hadapsar named as HARESH MOBILE SHOPPE [protected].
The Nokia representative refused to give me details regarding the GPS system and told me that ONLY WHEN I PURCHASE THE CELL will he explain me the GPS function.

Waiting for ur action against such dealers who only want to sell the mobile phones and do not want to satisfy customer queries,and make a wrong image of Nokia in India.

    I PURCHASED A NOKIA 3110 MOBILE HANDSET ON 30.06.2009, WITH IMEI NO [protected] FROM LUCKY ELECTRONICS BILL NO 33 DATED 30.06.2009. iN THE MONTH OF APRIL 2010 THE PHONE GOT AUTO SWITCH OFF, ON CONTACTING LOCAL NOKIA CARE CENTRE 'APEX TEL' 80FT ROAD NEAR BRAHMA NAGAR CROSSING KANPUR, AFTER THE REPAIRING OF THE SET , WE WERE TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED, BUT WITH IN A MONTH THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN HAPPENED AND THE HAND SET GOT AUTO SWITCH OFF, THE SET WAS AGAIN GIVEN AT NOKIA CARE CENTRE ON 13.05.2010 VIDE JOB SHEET NO 1368, WE WERE INFORMED THERE MIGHT BE SOME PROBLEMS IN ICs WHICH MAY BE CHANGED.
    I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE SET WAS PURCHASED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2009 AND STARTED GIVING PROBLE IN THE LAST OF MARCH 2010, NOKIA CARE CENTRE ONLY DID THE REPAIRS AND WITH IN ONE MONTHS TIME THE HAND SET HAD THE SAME PROBLEM REPEATED, AS THE SET IS UNDER WARRANTY AND AS THE HAND SET IS REPATING THE SAME PROBLEM, IT SEEMS THE HAND SET HAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT, HENCE THE SET SHOULD BE REPLACED WITH THE NEW ONE INSTEAD OF BEING REPAIRED.

      Nokia E - 90 — MIC PROBLEM

      I have bought a NOKIA E-90 mobile in Jan 2008. After using it for 2 days, i got the problem with mic of that handset. I complaint the same to NOKIA SERVICE CENTER IN JANAKPURI, NEW DELHI. Theysthen took my handset and said they will repair and and give me back after 4 days. When i went to the service center after 4 days they said it has gone to head office and will take around 1 more week. Then again after 1 week i went there and they told me that it is still in repairing and will take some more days.

      Anyways after 35days i got my handset exachange with a used handset.

      Exactly after 3 days there was the same problem of MIC in the exchanged handset. Now i was frustrated and went back to the service center, they again said they will take 1 more week to check it. But it is aldy 10 days passed away and i have not got my HANDSET back.

      I have bought this HANDSET for RS. 35400/-. I am really surprised with the quality and behaviour of NOKIA.

      Kindly let me know what should i do and who will solve my problem. s

      on 2nd June 2009, night I left my mobile in Car and on 3 rd June Morning I found It was missing from my car. It was stolen. The details are Given below:

      E-90 NOKIA — PEELING OF PAINT ON FRONT AND BACK PANEL

      I bought E-90 Nokia set from BEECHAM PRESS, CONNAUGHT PLACE, DELHI. The paint started coming out in few days but I used the phone for one and a half year. I plan to change the cover now. The BEECHAM PRESS CARE is quoting 8400/- for the same. Some places are quoting 5400/-. Please clarify the price of the front and back panel(genuine from the NOKIA).

      Nokia E - 90 — Paint peeling off

      I have read the problems of paint peeling off in the E-90 device. I am facing the similar problem. Nokia is a reputed organisation and cant ignore the problem that is appearing-in so commonly for such an expensive device (i bought it for Rs 34K in april'09).

      I will suggest if the people facing the problem can come together then we should write it together to the Nokia headquarters in India seeking the solution of the problem with no additional expense or refund of the money.

              I am user of Nokia product from past 10 years, recently i bought a new handset
              Model No. 5800 Express music edition(IMEI:[protected]) dated 5th december 2009. In february i faced some problem regarding the handset, i took it to Nokia Care, North lakhimpur, they told me it has some software problem,they sent it to Delhi ,after one month they returned me the handset but very next day same problem happened again.This time i went to M/s Anisha Cell Point (Nokia Priority Dealer) N.T Road, North Lakhimpur,Assam-787001 from where i bought the handset,(attached cash memo file is given for your reference) they also sent it to delhi and same thing happened again like previous time, this time they took 25 days.this is the third time they sent the handset again,I tried to contact with Nokia customer care but no response came from them,they dont pick up the call,I called Nokia care in Bangalore,they also told me to call 30303838 but no response from this number also.
              It is very embarrasing and i suffered a lot also,Now i want a new handset as an replacement, and compensation for the period i suffered unneccessary for them.Kindly look into this matter on urgent basis.

                I have bought nokia 1209 mobile on 12/05/2010 in cash assuring that its battary normaly can not discharge minimum 48 hrs in normal use but my cell phone battary is discharging within 24 in normal use.
                i went to nokia dealer who sold me this cell but they are not giving me adequate answer and sending me back without solution. And i have bothered a lot because of nokia dealer. they also gave me nokia care address but nokia care time table also has not given and that is why i have bothered a lot as i went there two but nokia care service center was not opened.

                Nokia/1209 — Mobile Phone is not working

                Dear Sir,

                On 19.10.2009 I had purchased a 1209 Nokia Mobile handset ( ESN/IME No. [protected]) from Kamal Radio & Mobiles opposite K. E. M. Rest House, Station Road Ajmer - 305001 (Rajasthan). The phone has stopped working on 28.01.2010. For service/repair it was handed over to Nokia Care centre F-9, Ist Floor, Amar Plaza Near Old Private Bus Stand, Ajmer vide their Service Job Sheet No. 3438 on dted 29.01.2010. On 30.01.2010 I receive a call from Nokia care Centre Ajmer that this phone is tempered and unrepairable and it has high value cost in repairing (Rs. 500.00). As the mobile is under waranty why I should I pay the repairing cost.

                  I have lost my patience dealing with Nokia for my problem. Yesterday night i again got the same problem which i had since the day i have purchased my Nokia Cell phone. I'm tired with you guys now and i don't want to repeat the same thing. Inspite of my cell being in warranty you can't replace the unit when the unit has a hardware issue right from day 1. my handset inspite being in warranty can't be replaced, when everything has been done from changing display, to changing batteries to installing latest software on my cell. What is the use of having a 16k handset when i can't use it to full potential as it has this hardware problem. I'm taking this forward and will make people think when buying a Nokia handset. The service by far is pathetic and useless to a warranty customer, imagine what happens when the device goes out of warranty

                    Dear sir,
                    I had purchased a nokia handset 2323c from a reputed handset dealer.However after three months o[censored]sage it started giving away. I already gave it once to repair at the nokia care centre.It gets automatically hanged and switched off due to no reason.
                    Data gets deleted, message folder keeps saying "message memory storage not ready".
                    Especially if the user is getting three messages at a time it cannot handle it. t switches off reinitialises and after that again says message memory not ready.

                    It seems to me a useless phone.The purpose why i chose this phone was to take a simple model as nokia atleast in the indian market ,among middle class people holds a good status for its basic model. But this model seems to be the worst of all. Other companies provide us with camera facility also at the same price.
                    This will be third time i'll be giving my phone to the nokia care centre in two months.

                    All my data has been lost and most of all this phone does not support a memory card which was not mentioned before i took the phone. all i could see was bluetooth,music player, etc.It does not even support the themes properly.

                    What kind of a phone has nokia come up with? Was this one of their ways of cheating people? I was expecting nokia to atleast withdraw the phones from the market, see to the fault and then reintroduce it.The ones who have already taken the phones have no choice but to put p with it.I'm repenting now because I never checked out other company models ever as i believed in nokia phones.I am very disappointed with nokia for this. What about people who don't know about this phone? they will be duped!
                    I hope nokia see to this problem as soon as possible!!!

                    Nokia — A Defective Nokia Model

                    To Whomsoever it may Concern

                    This is to inform you that I purchased a Nokia mobile 6080 from the dealer "Big C" at Hyderabad on the 4th of November 2007.
                    From the day one we found that the mobile was a defective piece as the number used to get dialed automatically while on conversation itself. On contacting the Nokia Care Centre they seemed to first of all not look into the matter as they responded very reluctantly. Only after speaking to the customer care at Chennai they took the mobile for the so called replacement and I was informed that the handset would be coming back to me only in about 20-25 days.

                    What I would like to tell you is that I have been a very loyal customer to Nokia from the past 7 years as I owned more than 10 models in that span. It is very disheartening to receive a poor response from Nokia who claim to be the World's No.1 Company.

                    I was also informed that the particular model (6080) has so far received many complaints and has been a failure. If this is the case I just want to know why Nokia is allowing its dealers to promote this model which is a big failure with a lot of defects. After the battery issue I think you got to be a lot more careful with the models that are being promoted as this is a case of severe contemplation as it costs the brand image of Nokia.

                    Without a further delay and a stretching of 20-25 days I intend to get an immediate solution with either a replacement with a new model or with a new handset at the earliest.

                      Nokia — MOBILE INSTRUMENT MODEL-6500 SLIDER

                      I bought a MOBILE PHONE NOKIA model 6500 slider in April 2008. After one month th emobile started giving problem of automatic on/off and finally the mobile's display system completely faded away. On 06th June 2008 the mobile was handed over to NOKIA CARE and NOKIA care peoples given me back the Memory Card to get the same formatted outside but i was informed that the Memory CARD was scrrapped. I collected my mobile after one day and again on 06th September 08 the mobile had to be given at NOKIA CAre for repair of same problem with a request to replace the instrument as I am wasting my precious time, money and mental harrassment. lots of complaints were made at their centralised complain NO. 30303838 with lot of sweet promises by them but after was given my MOBILE on around 20th Sep 08 I was surprised to know that Blue tooth was removed, HINDI FONTS were nowhere available, poor Speaker sound, poor Disply, wrong SMessageS timing and so may problems. Today on 27th Sep 2008 again I have handed over the mobile to NOKIA CAre with a request to replace the MOBILE as I am fed up wih UNRELIABLE NOKIA PRODUCT. I an suffering a lot. NO BODY shuld buy NOIKA MOBILES especially MODEL6500. THis mobile has cost me a lot. THis is not for Rs. 13500 but for RS. 50000 pls mental harrassment.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I have given my Mobile for servicing in “Accurate Care Nokia Care Service Center” and it took almost one month to get it serviced by them and finally ended with losing my memory card. When I went to “Accurate Care Nokia Care Service Center” on the first day they told that they will get it serviced immediately and advised to collect it back in evening. I went to collect it and I was told that the problem is not solved and told to collect on the next day. On the next day I was informed that my handset is having hardware problem and it has to be send to Head Office for servicing and it will take at least two weeks to get serviced and I agreed for that. I called “Accurate Care Nokia Care Service Center” after two weeks and I was informed to collect it back since mobile is serviced. I have collected my handset and found my 2 GB memory card is missing and I again called back to enquire about the missing Memory card. I didn’t get any valuable response from them and finally I was told that memory card was not available in mobile. It was very poor service from “Accurate Care Nokia Care Service Center” since I got my Mobile serviced after one month and they didn’t service the defective volume control even though I paid money. I dint get my money back from “Accurate Care Nokia Care Service Center” and they are not willing to give my Memory Card. Below is the job code number and the contact details. Please help me in this.

                          This mail is to inform you about the pathetic service of Nokia care Ghaziabad centre.

                          Since day one, I am facing below mentioned problems:

                          1. SMS send/receive and the delivery report timings are not accurate. Live demo showed to the front desk executive.
                          2. E-mails send/receive time is not correct, which is hampering my official communications.
                          3. Network problem with this set. Hardly receive 1-2 bars of network or sometimes shows the message as “Only emergency calls can be made”
                          4. Space key doesn’t work so many times while drafting email or message, every time we need to switch it off n then switch on.

                          To rectify this problem I visited the Ghaziabad centre where they upgraded the software of my phone without taking the back-up for contacts/messages and post that when I reached home and checked my phone it still had the same problem.

                          Next day, again I visited the Ghaziabad center and talked to the manager Ms. Monika and the owner of Nokia care. She accepted the problem and said that this problem is with maximum handsets of E series so you need not to worry and gave me this conformation that they will swap this phone with a new one.

                          After 7-8 days of that I received the call from Alka (Front desk executive) that “Sir we have received your new handset from head office, please come and collect the same”. When I visited the office the phone given to me was not the new one and also it got scratches on the camera lens.

                          They have mentioned this new IMEI also on my original bill.

                          When I checked this handset there only, the same problem is with this new set as well. I showed this to Mayank (Engineer) and to Monika.
                          They both agreed that problem is not rectified and again confirmed me that we will be resending this set to head office and again will be swapped. She (Monika) is showing as she is completely helpless in this case and wants 3-4 more days and she is unable to get in touch with her seniors in the headoffice.

                          Today is 18th May 2010, I called up the call centre and logged a complaint with # 1-[protected]. Hope something can be done in customer’s favor.
                          Either refund my complete money i.e. INR 19500 or swap it with a box pack new E-72 (ofcourse without such problems) or provide me a new handset of the higher range probably N-97 would do.

                          Would request you to please look into this case sincerely and revert with the end resolution.

                            I purchased nokia 5130 in January'10 & My complaint is dat when i send any mssg to anyone & in dat case if there mob is on switch off mode then when they switched on their mob & my mssg is delivered on their mobile may b after 2 or 3 hrs.Its shows delivered timings just of 2-3 min gap when i mssg them.
                            Pls solve my query.

                              I bought NOKIA N85 on Oct 2008. Following are the issues haunting me from last 1.5 years.

                              Problems:
                              1. The software was really bad(v10.00...).
                              2. Display problems - hangs and slow refreshing rate. Updates in one frame per 3 seconds.
                              3. Mobile cannot be used as Handsfree as audibility is very poor.
                              4. FM station reception is horrible.
                              5. Mobile resets by itself with out any intervention.

                              Due to above problems, updated the software to v 30.xx. Then started the real problems.
                              1. Handset gets heated up in standby mode(body heats up).
                              2. Battery get discharges in one day. Earlier to v30.xx mobile had good back in "power save" mode. Now it gets swicted OFF in 5 minutes.

                              I was thinking to approach "NOKIA customer care" at Koramangala, Bangalore. By seeing customer complaints and beautiful response from customer care and NOKIA company, the idea is dropped. I don't want to waste my time for no output.

                              Questions to NOKIA:
                              1. How can company Quality, Software, Hardware departments agree to release such a horrible mobile set in to market?
                              2. Did NOKIA understand business "ethics"?
                              3. Why NOKIA does not understand that they are wasting people's money, precious time and playing with health of people?
                              4. How was the quality maintained of mobiles released prior to 2008, why not later?

                              NOKIA mobile 2000 INR, works properly compared to N and E series.
                              Not worthy mobile for the money paid.

                              Nokia N85 — software problem

                              i have purchesed n85 in march 2009 the set was working slow, i visited at customer care centre mandi (hp) they formeted the set in july 2009 and again on7/08/2009 they were unable to load full software, it was told by the care centre that the new version is not available so that the installed software without engage software, i am also a dealer of nokia phone, & also press reporter of dainik bhaskar, the care center is 90 k.m from my town so that i am not able to visit again and again, kindly tell me that what should i do

                              when ever i set my phone n85, to factory setting. The screen start blinking with standby menu incomplete. The voice-commend don't start(work). It start to hang frequently, for which i have to take out the battery everytime. And the battery run out of charge within 6-7 hrs of re-charge.

                              Nokia N85 — harassment during servce

                              I have a Nokia N85 which had developed some dark spots on the camera. I gave it for repairs in June an it was repaired! The same problem came up again in Dec 09! I gave it for repairs again(The phone is still under warranty)!
                              However they can't seem to fix it, they keep on sending it to their main office but it comes back with the same problem, each time they send it i have to wait for over a week!
                              I even wrote to Nokia about my problem and they said that thay were looking into the matter!
                              Now it has been over a month and i am disgusted with them!
                              I asked for a replacement, they replied that they will send it to the main office and if they say yes only then will the phone be replaced! For that i have to again wait for a week!

                              Is there anything that i can do to resolve the matter in a few days, can you help me teach the company a lesson!!


                              Also i would like to point out that many of the new N-series phones are developing black spots on their cameras(sometimes not visible till seen against a white backdrop), even my brothers' phone(N-79) had the same problem and they harassed him for 2 months till they gave him 2 replacements(the first replacement was defective).
                              Is there any way to make them do a product recall?

                              Please help m i have had enough with this company!

                                I, Gagandeep Singh, resident of Indore regularly using various models of your nokia cell phones since last 10 years, last year I have purchased one Nokia mobile model No.5130c xpress music through The Mobile Store ESN / IMEI Number – [protected] from Indore on 20/05/09, Invoice No:- M.P. / 1349 / 0000 / 67 / . In the month of Sept 09. It started giving problem continuously till date. Problem of memory Card not read. Some times it reads some times not.
                                I have approached Nokia care centre Gayatri Incorporation for repair of this hand set. They tried but they told me that this is non repairable problem & they returned the set to me.
                                So kindly look into matter. I would like to request you to kindly provide me a replacement phone or a new phone.
                                I will be happy if you respond early. Hope to see that Nokia maintains its world wide reputation.

                                Nokia — Malfunctioning new mobile

                                I am writing here at a loss as to where to write.

                                I have always been loyal to Nokia since the time mobile phones came to India, and being used to Nokia phones, like many other loyal customers always choose a Nokia handset when going in for a new phone.

                                On the 7th of November 2008, my birthday, my brother bought me a new mobile a simple 3620-S from RPG Cellucom India Pvt Ltd – Centrestage Mall Noida. And from the 7th of November I started having problems with the phone. My basic problems were

                                1. The On/Off button on top of the phone does not work
                                2. The volume button on the side of the phone does not work

                                As you may appreciate, these are vital functions of the phone. I approached the Nokia Care centre [Micronas Telcom – C4 Sector 2 Noida] and they took my phone, [without any loaner phone] and said they would revert the same day. After 3 days with no revert from them, we called to find that the phone has some major defect and has to be sent to the main service centre at Okhla. This would take at least 15 days.

                                First of all I am a professional working with a bank, and have important numbers stored in my phone memory. I am fidning it extremely difficult to function without a vital business tool.

                                Secondly and more importantly, I would like to know, if a product is under warranty, and develops serious complications and problems within a day of purchase, then why waste 15 days of my valuable time, placing me at considerable inconvenience.

                                If I buy a new product and it requires 15 days time to fix a problem within a month of buying it, what kind of reassurance do I have that this phone will last me even a year? Why am I not being offered replacement immediately?

                                I am so disappointed and appalled at the way Nokia is taking people for a ride, just because we have got used to the phone as a way of life, and prefer Nokia to other manufacturers. I would like my new phone to be replaced immediately; I will not accept a new phone which has been opened and serviced within 2 weeks of purchase. I have also decided that my next phone, on which I spend my hard earned money will not be a Nokia, but a Sony, which values their customers more.

                                I do not expect a reply, but perhaps reading this mail, will give people an idea of the unheard voices of dissatisfied customers.

                                i have given my mobile to nokia care ranchi .it's problem was that.the tracking key was not working
                                they have given me 1 week's time .but they failed ,they called me next week.when i received.my
                                handset was not in proper condition and in that mobile sim was not working.i complaint it in their

                                I have recently purchased Nokia N79 handset.But that is switching off automatically.So i have given it back to service centre.They said that it is corrected but when i started using it again found the same problem.

                                I have given them back the handset.I still have not rcvd it back

                                  This is Shivmohan soni and i have purchased Nokia 3110c from M planet Uttam Nagar(New Delhi) on 2nd of July 2009 and it has 2 year warranty before 1 month my mobile had a display problem so i gone to M planet and i have submmitted my mobile there to repair and after 20 day i got my mobile, i would like to tell you one thing that when i purchased the mobile they said if it will have any problem between warranty period then i will provide you another handset but they denied that time but before the same problem came again and again i visited to M planet and did a complain and also submiited the handset and i asked about another handset for the time being but he (Avinash jha) told me that call me in the evening then i called up him in the evening but he denied and also disconnected the call.
                                  Please look into this matter and do the needful ASAP

                                    I've been using a Nokia E90 handset for the past 2 years, and the only problem i had faced till now is the peeling of the panel paint. So i replaced my panel with brand new ones from The NOKIA CARE outlet at trivandrum, which had costed me around INR 3960/- on 10th February 2010, but now it has started peeling off again, even without completing a 3 months usage time. What should i be doing to get this replaced. Do i get warranty for the replaced panels.

                                      I have purchased a mobile handset Nokia 5233 on[protected] and it is not even a month. Mobile kept on charging and then found screen is not functioning and even it has black patch on the conner.
                                      Nokia service care is not ready to take it under warranty and calling it physical damage.
                                      There is no physical damage to case or screen from the external then how can it get damage internally?

                                        Sir, One K.Sai & his associate ex-auto driver Kumar, who are authorized after sales Nokia service center at Jeypore Orissa , has been acting fraudulently changing and manipulating the nokia sets spares and misplacing mobile sets, and cheating the customers. There are more than 150 Consumer cases before the Consumers forum at Jeypore against the service center . But the neither the company nor the regional service providers in Orissa
                                        The said duo Sai and Kumar are liable for criminal action for cheating fraud and breech of trust .
