I have bought Nokia 5310 Express music and 7321 models of Nokia last month. I was using N72 before that. I was happy with the perfomance of N72. But as soon as I bought 5310 it started showing the quality problem like display was not working properly. Due to my work I travelled to other city and on the 20th day the display completed gone black while attending one call.

Before this incidence my thinking for Nokia was like a pioneer in handsets and first in quality but relised that Nokia has also started compimise in quality.

I request Nokia to replace my handset as I would be back to my home location and will deposite to Nokia care soon and maintain the brand name .

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic — problem on changing theme

i have installed a theme, but when i change to another theme it's displaying theme 1 is selected more elements are invalid.help me out how to overcome it.

    Gentlemen,
    I bought NOKIA MOBILE MODEL 5800, imei no: [protected], Warranty ref. no. apainy[protected], on 16-april-2009 ( 20 days back), within 20 days i face so many problems like blank display, phone locks up, not responding.
    Yesterday i go to service centre they told it will take 15 days for reparing.
    Please answer my below questions:
    1. IS NOKIA QUALITY IS VERY POOR NOW??
    2. IF PHONE IS FAULTY WITHIN 20 DAYS, THERE IS NO
    CHANCE FOR FREE REPLACEMENT??
    3. IF PEOPLES BUY SUCH TYPE OF COSTLY MOBILES THEN
    YOUR TREATMENT IS ALSO SAME WHO USE CHEAPER
    MOBILES???
    4. WHY YOU ARE TAKING LONG DAYS FOR YOUR SERVICES?

    Nokia — phone locks,not responding

    My name is teetu i gave my mobile nokia 3500c to nokia care center at Punjab Amtisar.
    I m having problem of locks and not responce from mobile but now the workers at care station are not giving me back at right time.I m having lots of problem without mobile plz make it repair as soon as posable.details of my phone

    i have to think twice. pl suggest should i go for 5800.

    i am motorola fan . first time i am going for Nokia.
    No dont opt for it go for an iphone instead
    I have a 5800 that also has the same symptoms. It locks up on receiving a call, requiring the battery removal to resolve it, didn't start up this morning, and has played up several other times in just 8 weeks. I'll try to get it sorted by Vodafone. There are bound to be some failures in millions of sales but I don't want it to be mine!

      My Job Sheet No : 11070

      I had purchased Nokia N81 at the Mobile Store at Kodambakkam on 05/08/2008. The warranty period is for one year. I am facing problem with my mobile like, the keypad is not working, volume key is not working, the volume sound is very low. I had given my mobile for service at Nokia Care [Raksha Impex] on 28.04.2009. I was been told that they would give my mobile within 2 days. I called on 04/05/09 @[protected] to the service centre to know the status about my mobile Nokia N81. They said i could collect it on 05/05/2009. When i called today [05/05/09] they told me today is an official holiday and only the back end is working, hence i could collect my mobile on 06/05/09. I am not interested to collect the same mobile. I request you to kindly replace me a new mobile with immediate effect.

          hello nokia...
          i purchased nokia 6300 handset with IMEI ([protected]) on about july 2008 from ankleshwar, gujarat. it worked smoothly for 3 months. but then in december, my earphone attachment pin was ruined. i repaired it in chetak sales nokia care in anand, gujarat.
          then again in january their was a problem of auto switch off. so again i went 4 nokia care, anand.they returned my phone 2 days later saying it was a software problem.
          1 month later again the same problem was repeated and they again flashed the phone and returned 2 me. but this time it worked 4 not more than 4 days. so they said they would be sending it to company. i received my phone after about a month. but again it worked for 10 days and got ruined.
          this time i have given it in nokia care, bharuch i.e khushi communications. and they said they wud be sending to the company.
          i m now fruistated with this kind of aftersale service of nokia. please thoroughly check in the problems of my handset and reccomend it 4 replacement. bcoz if the problem is not solved now, i wud follow the proceedings by taking all the jobsheets to the respective authorities and lodge a heavy complain on nokia.

                I purchased one N-70-1 handset in April'07. IMEI [protected] and in March'09, suddenly the display went kaput. I showed it one local repair shop, who could locate the problem, but didn't have the requisite resources to do the repairs. Hence, i went to Nokia care, Mulund(W), mumbai. There, after endorsing that it was tampered was returned after a day.When asked what to do next, was told to go to any local shop for repairs.Definitely there has to be something more thqn this.
                Now the moot question is when u said it has been tampered, then why ask me to go to the same shop?
                It appears Nokia care is all bogus; the company is simply dumping cheap and rejected products in India.
                Now I have decided to throw this handset and infact change the company itself, maybe buy sony or samsung...
                In future it is NO "KIYA" to nokia.

                Nokia N 70 - 1 — Product Malfunction

                one year before i brought Nokia N 70-1(type RM-84, Made in Germany).
                It has a malfuction of Opening loudspeaker, gallery etc and the call is cut while the call is incoming/outgoing. I gave the set for servicing at a nokia care center at Cochin, kerala.But they were unable to detect and rectify the problem.what must i do.

                  Sorry for the delay in sending this mail and for failing to confirm my ticket to your city on Saturday as agreed.                     i got a new nokia 6300 mobile 3 months back.i found some black lines in my NOKIA 6300 display, i'm sure that was not a physical damage. I gave my mobile for repair in NOKIA ZONE 10 K.R.Pusham complex, aarthy theatre road.dindigul, tamilnadu, india.i checked the status of my mobile with my job sheet number 58546550/090430/42 in online, the status showed it was repaired, but when i went back to the care centre to collect my repaired mobile they got my signature in the service jobsheet saying that the mobile was repaired.when i got my mobile back from them it was not repaired i still found the black lines in display.then i came to know that my mobile was untouched.when i asked them about this, they had some discussion among them and said this is a physical damage and it costs around Rs.1450 for replacement.i just want to bring to ur attention that, they are the one who said that my mobile is repaired and got my sign but how come they can charge me telling that as a physical damage?i just feel that this is not a proper way to treat a customer.please do take some neccessary steps to over come this problem.

                    Nokia 6300 — unproper servicing

                    i buy a mobile before six months, but my mobile was always complaints. after servicing another complaint is occuring on my mobile it was not occured past. within six month they service my mobile four times and also they take sevicing time up to 15-18 days. most of the time mobile was in the nokia's hand only few time i used. for silly complaints nokia care sending my mobile to delhi and the company is not willing to replace my mobile.

                      GLOBAL – There have been a ton of reports recently that scam artists are once more sending out hoax SMS and emails, purportedly from Nokia, that offer some sort of money if one were to respond, faux lottery style. Sorry folks, those are not coming from us. We don’t do money lotteries, so beware the scam. If you see the message, then know Nokia Lottery is a scam.

                      I’ve been seeing comments coming in asking if they are true, but have to delete them from our system since they look very much like the real thing, and hence look like comment spam.

                      If you do receive something fishy like these, do NOT reply to these messages or pass them on. The thing to do is to delete the message without responding. You might also consider contacting your local authorities to report such hoax messages.

                      I have listed the more common forms of these hoaxes after the jump. Click through to make sure you don’t get hoaxed.

                            Subject: Mobile (N81) having more problems after getting repaired ant nokia care.

                            Firstly i checked into nokia care at "Nokia care, F-27, 1st floor Prime Mall, Irla, Vile Parle West" to get my mobile repaired. The problem that i was facing was that none of the keypads(alpha-numeric and the slider) wasn't working and the mobile would frequently hang.After i went to "nokia care" i got to know that my mobile was water logged. They did repair my mobile(job no[protected]/090408/8) and it was working perfectly fine at the time they handed over the ' repaired ' mobile to me.

                            Thinking the mobile is all fine i slipped it into my pocket least expecting it to go wrong again the same day that to within a few hour . The same day i had to leave for kolkata so i could not check into the same nokia care again. At first the mobile was not able to catch the network, but eventually a large number of problems started.

                            1. The mobile is not catching network
                            2. The screen is flickering
                            3. The mobile is switching off on its own
                            4. The mobile hangs
                            5. The music player is not working

                            Since my trip there was of 20 days, i just came back yesterday and today, i again went to the very same nokia care. I wud surely like to get my mobile repaired but then i don’t want to pay a hefty again for repairing my mobile. I had already paid Rs 1750 when i first got it repaired and just because i could not come back in time to get my mobile re repaired, i don’t want to pay again.

                            I fully believe that it was same technical or setting mistake done on part of the technician that handled my mobile that i am facing so many problems.

                            Been throughout a loyal nokia user, i am really disappointed with the way things are working out today. Since i bought it at a very dear price and have already paid so much in repair, i don’t want to pay all over again and do expect full value of my money.

                              Hi,

                              I bought a 5130 Xpress Music yesterday an put my BSNL SIM card in.
                              Then booted up the phone. After that, the device says "Sending a message"
                              for 6-7 mins, during that time I cant do any operation. After 4 mins, the
                              phone works fine. After every powerup, it takes 6-7 mins to register with
                              the network. I asked the device seller (Univercell) and they are saying that
                              BSNL SIM cards take more time and other sims wont take that much time.
                              I did not test with other sim card yet.

                              Is this a normal behaviour with BSNL sims or should I replace the set with
                              a newer one?

                              Please help.

                              This is the same thing with many other Nokia phones.

                              I have a Nokia 3110 Classic. On every reboot I get the message "Sending a message" for atleast 5 minutes during which time the handset is unusable. After that the message "Temporary error occurred. Pls try again" is displayed.

                              Flushing your outbox or all your messages or doing a factory reset dont make a difference.

                              I have an Airtel Card on the same mobile this doesnt occur.

                              So, Nokia & BSNL (esp. GPRS), is deadly . Beware!
                              i am also having the same problem its saying that sending a messgae and for me thers also money detction after sending a message for this what should i do...

                              It is because the SIM is trying to sent the Handset details to BSNL. Actually it should complete within 5sec, but it continue, trying sending the message for 5-6 min when it fails.

                              This can be stopped by turning off the "Allow sim service action" feature in your mobile.

                                  I do not know whethr my complaint will be taken in the right way or not but even though for my own satisfaction I am writing this to you..

                                  My son purchased a Nokia mobile N96 in November, 08 from The Mobile Store in Nanganallur. While selling the mobile we were offered a 1000 promoses and wonderful services etc. It was a fantastic mobile and he was taking care of it so well but unfortunatley it fell down on to a water container. We took this mobile to the shop we purchased and the way the lady reacted was too disgusting. The moment I told her about the complaint she said we cannot do anything you have to go to the service centre directly which will take long time and lot of money shoud be spent etc.. etc.. To my knowledge when the customer comes with a complaint it should be received in proper manner and try giving them a good solution, on the other hand the lady was acting so commanding and she was not even ready to take the mobile in her hand. She even said since tomorrow and day after tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday, she asked me to bring the mobile on Monday. I have to walk at least 10km or take an auto to reach the mobile store which I explained to her but she did not even care to this.

                                  I request you take proper action on this issue, if needed I can come to the Store. i hope you can understand my feelings.

                                  Nokia N96 — preloaded stuff lost

                                  as i bought nokia n96 a week ago..i had the preinstalled music and videos and some useful softwares wich the company gives preloaded in nokia n96..but 2 days back my phone lost all these stuff wen i ws restarting phone..i talkd to nokia customer helpline they said any nokia care centre will do it and solve my problem...but i went to 5 nokia centres of different places in delhi but they said they cant solve this and i again talkd to nokia customer helpline and they said they also cant hepl in this...i paid a hefty amnt of money to buy that phone and nokia gave preinstalled things in that so why i cant get them back if i have lost nt due to my mistake...as phone i also in full warranty...they wasted my time and money to go to different nokia cares and i gt nothing...pls help

                                  Nokia N96 — Frustrated with Nokia

                                  I brought N96(IMEI [protected]) on 2nd Dec 2008 by investing 34,500/- thinking Nokia is the BEST among all the other companies, but I was wrong and now I believe your handsets are not only a simple box, But Nokia Service is also [censored]ing.

                                  I don't have enough time to write a complaint but today i am so harassed to write.
                                  I had a problem with my Phone Memory it Flushes out, for which I had to visit Nokia Service Center at Tonk Communnications (Dewas). There [censored]ing behavior and the [censored]ing staff too has just ruined my mind. Dust also got entered in my mobile screen which needs to be cleaned. Since my handset is under warranty so it should be cleaned free of cost but they are demanding a [censored]ing SERVICE CHARGE. Man what is this charge..?...as my handset is under warranty yo should do it free.
                                  Last time also i went to the same place, at that time i had a problem of joystick with my other handset nokia N73. They kept it for 2months by saying COME AFTER 3 DAYS , 4DAYS....
                                  They also used my new handset in these 2 months. I know this because its Life timer was showing excess use of 22hrs. At that time i had not made any complaint. But this time water is above the head.
                                  What the Hell is this. Man if Nokia Calls it as Professional and Best Where are the customer happy.
                                  Now, i would prefer taking SonyEcrisson or other and will never buy this [censored]ing product.

                                  I guess Since Nokia has a name it doesn't bothers what are customers problem.

                                    this is to inform you that I had purchased a Nokia handset-1661 on 30 March 2009.From next day onwards the set was not charging .I took the set along with the charger to thw Dealer - Silicon Telepoint PvtLtd, 14Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata-700 072..The told me that their job is to sell the product and regarding service I should visit Everest Mobicare(Nokia Service Centre) at 10, lenin Sarani, Kolkata-700013.700013.Due to my ill health I could nt visit the service centre in the month of March so I visited the service centre on 27 April 2009.Their the staff told me that to wait for 10 minutes and the job will be done.I reminded the staff that I will have to copllect the child from school sothat I can come in the evening to collect it.He made me wait for 60 minutes and then she said that i should come in the evening.I was annoyed and when I reached school my daughter left for home in this 40'c heatwave without an umbrella..I think she should be sacked from her job for being inhuman to others.

                                    Hi, please do not worry, the most possible reason is due to you insert charger to headset port. You just power off the phone and insert charger in charger port then the problem will be fixed. And charger insert to headset port will not damage the phone.
                                    So no need go to service center. Just use it.

                                    And please tell your friends if they have same similar concern.

                                      Nokia - E71 — Nokia Care Damages and Ask for money

                                      Bought my E71 3/4 months back. Wanted to upgrade the software to avoid hanging problem and also had lost my network and it will just show 3G network available but no other network. Gave Nokia Care (Signature Communications, B-100A, South City - I, Gurgaon). The guy sitting there (Subhash), tested the phone for the fault and agreed that he will return the phone in one hour.

                                      Later when I called up, I was told that the phone's network IC is broken and it will be sent to Nokia-Head-Office for major repairs. Awestruck, Taken by surprise! I just told them to do whatever but I need my handset asap. Few days down, I had a call that I need to pay 4200 rupees as minimum charges against repair.

                                      This is a very devastating experience I have ever had with any Nokia Care. Most importantly, they say that they have told me that the handset is damaged and it will cost me 4200 which is CLEAR REPHRASED LIE.

                                      The jittery language they have used has put me to shame and gave me the worst ever experience with Nokia and Nokia Care people. They were unable to put me to any next/senior level executive saying he is the only who takes care of everything.

                                      They promised to show the online transaction but they failed in that as well (no entry in the live system, saying NO DATA FOUND).

                                      Finally they revoked saying you wont get your handset until you pay the forced amount.

                                      Please suggest, What shall I Do

                                      Hope to hear something concrete from you and request for a amicable solution to this.

                                        Respected Sir/Madam,
                                        I bought a Nokia E63. Just after 2 days of purchasing I noticed a Screen Flickering Problem while browsing through Images and in Media Player.I sent took my Phone to Nokia Care center and they could not solve my problem and told me that they will send it to Nokia Level 3. I Requested to Replace my phone and they told that only If Nokia Level 3 could not solve my problem then they will give me new phone.I agreed and sent it to Level 3.Today, after 10 days I got a call from Nokia Care center that my phone is repaired and inform me to collect it.I went to Nokia care and I collect my phone and inspect it. I was stunt by looking that even Nokia Level 3 could not solve my problem and they say that they have solved it. I showed the problem to Center Manager and she told they will again need to send it to Level 3.So now i am saying that instead of wasting my time Nokia should replace my phone.I am not free to play this game passing my phone to Care center then they will pass it to Level 3, Level 3 will return it without solving problem and then again I have to pass it to care center then again they have pass it to Level 3. Have I purchased this phone to play this passing game? I kept my this phone just for 2 days with me after purchasing and rest of all days it was with Nokia Level 3.And now it is already proved that even Level 3 is not able to solve my problem.So its by law you are bound that now you should replace my phone without wasting time. Second thing is that on 24th April I am going abroad for 2 years. So I want my phone repaired before that or new replaced phone before that.Or else return my full money along with interest and compensation because I already wasted my 30 days. I want Nokia care center to bring this issue in notice of HIGHER

I was told that the battery is good only the display was not working for the first packet cell. I charged the battery for quite some time and it showed that the battery is full. Today while talking over phone the cell got switched off and when I want to charge it is not showing any display. That means the battery is defective.

                                        Now my concern is your people were aware that this is a defective set still they want to push it to someone.
                                        In the second occasion they were aware that the battery is defective and again they want to push it.

                                        I am using nokia since last 11 years and this is the first time I am facing a lot of problem from your product and individual.
                                        It is easy to loose a customer but difficult to get.
                                        And statistics says "a dissatisfied customer will tell to another 22 customer about the product.”

                                        So my sincear request to get me a good set at earliest.
