While am inserting Memory cared my mobile, after swatching of againg am swtching on also its restarting, using music player aloso my mobile restarting aganin n aganin. after updating software also am facing problem. plz give the permnent solutation for Nokia 3110c Mobile. features like music player or camera or video camera or memory card because I all time feared that my phone is again restart.

It is pathetic that the Customer Care support is very poor for obtaining a gprs settings for this model in particular and for any model in general from the bsnl authorities. But there are people in bsnl who do not get exposed. The customer care people are half baked.
Here is the settings and you can set it up manually:

Go to Menu
choose settings
choose connectivity
go to packet data
go to packet data connection
choose - when needed
go to packet data settings
go to Active access point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to Edit active access point
go to Alias for active point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to packet data access point
type "wapsouth.cellone.in" (Other regions replace south with their region)
now come back to settings
go to configuration
go to preferred access point
type "BSNL Internet"
now go to Menu and Choose Web
You will find Personal Configuration in 'Configuration"
and 'bsnlgprs' in Account
Wherever you find Proxy Server, Enable it
Wherever you find Proxy port No: type 9401
Connection is 'IPv4"
now go to Personal ConfigurationSettings and in options click Activicate. Now Enjoy OPERA MINI - MOBICAST Applications

Dear Sir,

I had purchase a Nokia handset in Dec 2008 from Telephone Shoppe (model no. 3110C). At I am facing same problem regarding keypad. Only three keys are not operate proper (first taking call second end call & third one is menu key). This phone I had used only 10 to 15 days, but when I got a complaint against the same. The Nokia care centre which is in Pune (Shivaji Nagar) told to me. We cannot repair this phone because it is liquid damages. I do not know how it is possible. I have doubt on this service centre. They want Rs.505 for repairing proposes & told to me your warranty is end now.
Please give me your advice what should I do.

in the home page select services>postpaid>gprs wap
on this page there is a tag download gprs setting to your mobile, click it they will ask for which circle .select ur circle .then register ur mobile no and model .they will send a password to ur mobile . Type that password and log in .

I am having backup problem from the first day. Now its only 2 days passed, when played only some songs the battery is getting to its last level. when compared to others, other give more backup. i also used N-72 that was the best one but nokia-6300 is bad in backup. So i here by request to provide us some latest technology or else provide us other cell phone in exchange.

I cannot say with certainty if weak signal inside the house is due to defective hand set or due to other reasons. Once the signal aspect is checked then only the set can be blamed and action taken.

I am a regular user of Nokia Handsets for last 10-12 users. Over the Past I had used Nokia 5110, Nokia 3310, Nokia 3350, Nokia N-70M and Lastly Nokia 6330 on 11/01/2009.being the slim and metallic Phone. But the 6330 is giving problem right from the day of purchasing. It has no battery back-up at all. It hardly gives back-up upto 10 hrs.

Can anybody suggest anything to improve the situation. YOU NOKIA PEOPLE CAN IMPROVE THE BATTERY BACKUP OR JUST CALL BACK THE SET FROM THE MARKET AND GIVE US THE REPLACEMENT. Why you people release such defective instruments to the market? Is not your duty to check the performance before releasing??

Nokia — nokia - worst mobile manufacturer

i bought 1200 (low end model of nokia) during the month of march for my mom. till date she used that phone only for max of 1 month only that too intermittently. rest of the days the set was with nokia care only. this was my 3rd service and everytime i go to ask that mobile they say, the mobile is with Company.
During my first service they told me to come after a week. i went and then they said still they have not received any details from company. by second week they say that without charger and battery they cannot replace and then they took 2 more weeks to get me the mobile(that too they have not given the battery). They claimed that they had replaced my mobile with a new one (which i dont think have happened).
The same is now repeating for the third time. this time i gave mymobile on 25th sep, 2008. after that i visited more than 5 times. They told me to wait for a while (a min of 15 mts everytime). after that they will say" sorry sir, the set has not come. still with company".

what Nokia company is doing with my mobile??? Have i purchased mobile for servicing regularly and for not using it. if the company says that it cannot be done, i will think that i have donated a poor company with Rs 1200 (not only me - many more n this society).

Thank god i have not gone for high cost mobile which i always prefer other brands (i have changed 6 such models which i have still in working condition)

people should make Nokia realise this fact and work on that. Also have a look on Nokia Care centres.

I am writing this letter to you after facing lot of problem of my Nokia N 70 M mobile phone. I kindly request you to give the attention for my complaint.

I have purchased a Nokia N 70 mobile set at the price Rs.9600 in Bangalore one year back. The thing is that it is now one year over but I have not used this set properly one month because of major software problem.

Now I want to precede the complaint about my handset Nokia N70. On 26 march 2008 I was purchased it. Three months after I came to know that battery back up is very poor. Then I made a complaint to Nokia care center at Bangalore. Regarding my complaint they made software flash on two occasions but problem remained same. Then I took it into Nokia care center at Shimoga. There also again software flash was done but no use. Like this I have visited 4 times to shimoga care center. In the 4th visit they decided to change the battery, so they kept it with them, after one month 20 days I received it back with same problem. But I never kept quite because of high tension. Again I have visited another Nokia care center at Bangalore. There they found some problem in software and advised me to send the hand set to company in Chennai. So I have sent it to them. Then after one and half month I got it back with additional problem like very poor network searching and songs are not storing in the folder. Now this is the 6th visit of Bangalore Nokia care center that time they advised me to send it to Delhi. So I has agreed and sent them, then I have received it back after 25 days with worst panel cover with lots of scratches. So I have refused to take my handset. Then they changed the panel cover and gave it to me. So now I am using the handset with lot of additional problem. I had high regard of Nokia Company but after facing lot of problem with this handset I got upset. whether I should blame this company or hurt my self. I am not satisfied with this set. Half of the year it was in service center. Please you people only think that, after spending so much money for this set, if it don’t work then how can we bear this pain. Please understand my situation and give me the justices. It is really shame for me to having such a costly phone with out working condition. I hope you will do the needful to me. Hi, I’m V.K. Srivastava and I’ using Nokia from past 15 years approx. [i.e. from Nokia 5100 to Nokia 5800] especially for two reasons:
1.Battery backup
2. Rough & tuff handset

For such Goodwill [Battery backup & Rough & tuff handset] its price is quite higher than other handset Company. Almost from last 2 years, now some other 3-4 branded handset companies give tuff competition to Nokia in Indian market on the basis of some advance features / options, These are:-
1. Dual Sim
2. Metallic body
3. Higher mega pixel Camera [Sony Satio – 12.1 mega pixel]
4. Large Display screen. [Sony Satio – 3.5”approx., LG-BL-10cm]
5. Slimmer in size
6. Blinking light features on the top right corner of the handset. [Samsung R220]


I suggest Nokia to work hard on my above suggested points [features / options] if they really want to maintain Monopoly in Indian Mobile market as like earlier because large group of Indian people wants above mentions features in their Nokia handset in cheap price because cost of living in India is much lower than other countries. Personally I’m anxiously waiting for Nokia X6 [16 / 32 GB] in Indian market almost with the price of Nokia 5800 or quit higher.

Nokia 6233 — headset problem

I have taken Nokia 6233 mobile 3months back. But now when I compaired to other same mobile I come to know sound quality of headset is very poor and radio frequency catching capcity is very poor.

Other headset giving sterio sound effect, but my headset is like any ordinary radio.
I think I have got duplicate headset.I want the replecement.

On 1 Feb 2008 i have brought one brand new nokia6233 from hot spot New Delhi after 2 months headset giving me problem that headset not supported i visit in nearest Nokia care center they said that there is no problem regarding head set after 1 month again same problem occurred since i have visit 4 times in Nokia care center regarding this problem and they refuse to change now when i visit 5th time there in care center then they said u have crossed the warranty period of 6months but The sales person told me that you can claim the 1 year service warranty from the sales bill itself and its 6month 18 days just i request that person he refused and said u have to purchase the new head set.Now what should i do to get rid of this additional cost input. sometimes i found while listening to Music or Fm the connection of Headphone gets disconnected automatically & in Music mode the music starts on speaker mode. some time the Handset hangs up & need to be switch off & restarted.

i have a problem with my nokia n73 joystick, it is not working properly...

hi i just bought nokia 5320 xpressmusic phone. it is a good phone regarding music and software support but from last 2 days i am facing problem in music player. music player doesn't detect any song and i am not able to perform any functions of music player. i showed my phone to nokia care they told me that they will upgrade my software and then the problem will be solved but then they told me that sorry your phone is completely dead and there was some hardware problem. so due to some fault of that people now i will have to send my new nokia phone to delhi and that too upto 25 to 30 days. i also requested to get me some simple phone upto 25 to 30 days to nokia care people but they refused. so now due to their mistake i am suffering now i do not have any spare mobile so that i can atleast pass these 25 to 30 days...

I have exactly same problem with you bro, is there any kind of software that could enable my n70 to connect as a mass data storage? PC suite is too slow for copying some files to my N70
Sometime i need to copy files from another computer, that didn't have PC Suite installed
