Hello

Someone has been trying to contact me for the last 2 days from the number [protected], but unfortunately I have not been able to speak with him/her.

Either I am at work where in I am unable to attend the call or when I called the same number this morning (Friday around 10:05 and 10:46) but there was no response.

Yet again the same thing is happening with the phone what had happend when it was new. I had mentioned that I lost all my data as the memory got corrupted. Today again the same thing happend but this time it was partial data that I lost. I lost all the videos that I stored in the mobile and couple of songs. I had recorded some of the performances this morning, which I lost by evening.

What do you have to say about this? Would you also accuse me of doing something to the mobile as the Manager in the Nokia Concept Store did? I think I am not a fool to do something to my own mobile and loose all the data. Now there is NO WAY that I can get those recording back.

This Nokia E71 is literally testing my patience. An early resolution would be really appriciated. I am not going to approach the Manager again as I NO NOT wish to speak with that "DUMB WALL" again.

Can you help..??

I had been a very loyal customer of Nokia since year 2000. I must have changed at least 15 mobiles since then all from Nokia and nothing else and at the same time I had been recommending Nokia to all my friends and relatives. Unfortunately I am not going to do that anymore, reason being the poor quality of the new mobiles and especially the customer service at the Nokia outlets, when I say Nokia outlets, I mean the Company Outlets like “Nokia Priority”, “Nokia Concept Store” because I do not prefer buying mobiles from anywhere else except the Nokia store.
This changed after I bought an E71 from the Nokia Concept Store in Bangalore, address mentioned below.

The kind of response I received at this store made me change my mind forever. I shall NEVER, EVER recommend Nokia product to anyone and as far as possible I am going to stop people from buying any Nokia product. I know it would not make much difference to you or your sales as there are plenty of dumb people out there like me to buy Nokia product with their eyes shut.

I went through all the reviews on the net about the E71 and was quite convinced that it is indeed a good phone. And I decided to go for it. Anyway I bought the E71 on the 26th July from the above shop in Bangalore. On the same evening I transferred all my data from my old phone E61i to the new one through data transfer software. Though it took a lot of time but finally everything was transferred to the new phone and I checked the same in the new phone and confirmed that everything had been transferred to the new phone. I then deleted all the data from the E61i as I had sold it off to a friend of mine.

In a few hours time I was just browsing through the menu of the E71 and went to the gallery and opened a file and suddenly this message popped up which said “Memory Corrupted”, I couldn’t believe it and I went to the main screen and again I tried opening the file from the gallery and yet again the same message popped up. I tried switching it off and on again but still the same thing happened. I even tried taking the memory out thinking that reseating the memory card may solve the issue but I could not take the memory card out.

I went to the same showroom next morning that is on 27th July and complained about the same. The salesman looked at the phone and tried all stunts but the same message kept popping. He then asked me to wait for the Manager of the showroom, Mr. Zubair Ahmed. Now this is one character I am most ANNOYED with. Honestly speaking, this man does not deserve to be in the position he is at.

Anyway, I didn’t have to wait too long and Mr.Zubair Ahmed came to me. I explained the whole issue to him, what I did and how I transferred all my data and how I lost all of it in a matter of few hours and to my disbelief, Mr.Zubair Ahmed accused me of fiddling with the phone and held me responsible for the same. I explained to him in the best possible way that this was not my first mobile and I have always been doing it but never faced any issue. But Mr.Ahmed seemed to be just stuck to only one thing and kept accusing me of spoiling the phone. I was absolutely shocked to get this kind of response but I couldn’t help it as I felt that I am talking to a wall.

The man asked me to come back on Monday as 27th being Sunday, he said nothing could be done. I had to agree as I had made the mistake of buying a mobile worth 21000.00 Rupees. I went to the showroom next morning and The Great Mr.Zubair Ahmed is there. Without uttering a word I handed over the phone to him, he again did the same stunts with the mobile and convinced himself that the memory indeed was corrupted and yet again he said that I did something to the mobile, which resulted in the memory card getting corrupted.

I told him one more issue with the phone. As per the review and technical specifications provided on the net, the battery of the mobile is supposed to last for 10 hours and 30 minutes in talk mode and 17 (Seventeen days) in standby mode. Unfortunately a fully charged battery didnt even last for 24 hours in standby mode, out of which I used the phone for just 18 minutes and the battery was totally dead.

I felt, I made the biggest mistake of my life buying the E71. Never did I feel in the past when I bought 5110, 3310, 3315, 6600, 7610, 6800, N91, 6610, then there was this phone with a camera that could be twisted around, N70, N72, N73, E61i and finally this E71 and for the first time I felt that I literally wasted my money by buying this phone.

I am so frustrated that I have decided never to buy any Nokia phone ever again. This is not only because of the bad product like the E71 but mainly because of the kind of response I received from Mr.Zubair Ahmed. I say it again that he does not deserve the position of a manager because he can not take simple decisions like changing the set immediately, which the salesman advised me 100% replacement within 48 hours in case there is a problem with the set. The manager was so irresponsible that he not only can not take a decision but he stoops down to the level of accusing the customer itself for any issues with the mobile.

I want to raise a formal complaint about the Manager of the store Mr. Zubair Ahmed and also about the phone. I want to see what actions Nokia takes about my concerns. Of course I do not expect much from Nokia as it has such amazing employees.

Here is a list of issues I had with the E71
1. The Memory got corrupted for absolutely no reason.
2. The battery does not last more than 24 hours in standby mode.
3. The battery does not last more than 2 hours in talk mode.
4. The applications do not work properly. For eg. The GPS, which is supposed to be free for the first 3 months.
5. The mobile hangs completely after I run GPS. I can neither switch it off nor do anything else with it. The only way left is to remove the battery and the put it back.
6. The camera clarity is not good, though company claims it is a 3.2 MP camera but it is definitely not upto the mark. I’d say the N73 is anytime a better than E71.
7. The keys are too close to each other.
8. The headphone jack not good either. It has to be inserted upto a certain point in the socket or else the sound goes off.
9. The e-mail could not be configured on the phone even after following the steps mentioned in the catalogue.
10. Overall I would rate E71 only 4/10

Of all the phones that I used, I was most satisfied with the E61i. It is indeed a wonderful phone.

Oh yes, E61i reminds me of one more thing about the so called manager Mr. Zubair Ahmed. 26th July I bought the mobile and on 28th July I asked him to exchange the mobile with an E61i and can you imagine the response from Mr.Ahmed? He offered me only 15000.00 Rupees for a mobile that was bought just 1 and ½ days back from his shop itself and that too it was only lying in my house without being used.

Can I get some kind of response from anyone who is sensible enough to understand my concerns, someone who is in authority, someone who can understand and analyze the situation and take decisions. I would really be grateful.

In case I am writing this to the wrong department or people, can you please forward this to the relevant department and relevant people.

Nokia N70 — Data transfer problem from message box to gallery

Dear sir, I am facing some problem in my handset Nokia N70.I am not able to transfer my data from message box to gallery, recieved through bluetooth.
It shows no space in music player but in reality there is 188MB is free.
so please approve my request, I will be highly oblieged to u for this kind work.
I agree to all those issues listed by Aninda as I have myself have been facing the same over the past few days with E 71. However today was the height. I was installing an application when it rebooted and after that I could not find any media files (audio or video) and several java apps which was earlier installed.
After that it wont let me install any Java (.jar file) on it and pops an error message "unable to install".
This is really frustrating as it does not even tell me why it is failing. When I try resetting it to factory default it is now so messed up that none of the keys are working !!!

I bought an E71 two days ago. Everything worked fine- copied data from old E61 with the wonderful function the E71 has-was a breeze. company e-mail set up in 3 mins flat. But today I got the message that my 2GB data card is corrupted. I came across these complaints while trying to figure out if I could reformat the card myself.

I suspect the issue coul dbe because the Nokia Suite version 7 that I have does not have a disconnect option like the 6 version. I exit the application, left click the safely remove hardware icon in the taskbar. But with the E71 always got the message that cannot remove the hardware as some program is using it (even after closing all the applications). There is no indicator light or message on the PC screen or on the phone which indicates whether the memory card is being read or not. Most of the corruption issues would probably be from a disconnection when the card is being read from or written to. But with the E71 there does not seem to be a safe way to determine whether it is safe to disconnect.

I had a similar problem in the E61 which I used for 20 months. It used to hang a few times with the data card inside. The Nokia service centre advised me to remove the data card for a few days everytime this happened! I essentially never used the data card after that. Maybe am looking to the same fate in the E71.

But I am a dedicated Nokia fan and will soldier on to find a solution...at least till I do not face bigger issues.

hey i got e 71 and from tomorrrow i am trying to open music player it says OPENING stil i cant open i did try lot of time, but it didnt work.

when i am swith on the phone something like inslling and message appear that insllaning fail.

so please any one let me know waht to do. if i will reboot memeory card can i get all application back.

Yes, I must agree with the above complaints. I too have been a nokia fan for some time and was enthused to purchase the new E71, however, I have, within a matter of 4 months, been dissuaded by the phones performance. I have experienced much of the above issues and will no longer recommend or, moreover, use nokia products until they can resolve the memory card corrupt issue (being that I lost some important data before having a chance to back it up). Maybe YOU ARE better off with an IPHONE.

Nokia E71 — Poor Product and support

The new business mobile E71 is a poor product, not user friendly. within 2 months the mobile had shutoff automatically and rebooted several times. Also the GPS and MAPS are not working effectively.

Nokia E71 — REPLACE MY PRODUCT

I am a Permanent customer of Nokia mobiles from the last 6 years.Recently I have purchased Nokia E-71 from a nokia dealer, But it maked me shocked when I removed the upper screen cover of it the inside part was full of dust which should not be there.

When I took the phone to the dealer and told him about the same he refused and said he cannot do any-thing, talk directly to the NOKIA company.
What the hell is this?
Why it happened. when the cover is closed from where the dust came. Why your authorised retail point is denying to know the real facts.
This time i am totally dissapointed by the performane of NOKIA company.

Nokia E71 — wanna replacement of my phone

To, Sir/Madam i m saquib from sasaram, bihar, india. On 23rd of may 2009 my brother had buy nokia e71-1 imei:[protected] for me rolla, sharjah, u.a.e. From 2nd day o[censored]sing this mobile i got a problem that it doesnt go in menu menu. When i try to use 1touch key 1 symbol comes below battery indicator n it doesnt go in menu option untill i switch of the mobile.its working after putting on but it comes in same condition after sometime. Time is not fix in starting its occures in 24 hour but now may be in 2hr or 1hr and one more prblm is that one time i was playing game of my mobile not online then mobile was haned, when i remove baterry then again it starts to work same prlm occrd 1time during taking a photo.. N there is no solution in our nokia careSo i m really tense

Nokia Comes with 48 hrs DOA(Dead On arrival policy) if any problem occurs dealer have to change the set.

Ans Might be there some problems with the memory card u shd hv gt it replaced
But it usually happens coz of common virus trojan horse

Ans yes the max TT available in indian Nw is 24 Hrs with 3G Its 75 Hrs

Ans Thats The max Talktime BP4L Battery can deliver in india.

Ans Yes there was some problem with GPS applications with E71 All it was required a sw update
as Agps is a 3rd party application

U Need a rental connection means internet connection NOP do not help in exchange mails

Hi, i bought Nokia E71 on 8-May-2009 and within a month I am tired of its behaviour of memory reading. it started with the lost of images from the memory card but at the same time memory scan was showing that data was still there. After one day when data came back it was completely restructured...all of the folders created by me were not there and all images appeared in the root folder. This was the starting story...after this same thing happened with videos and other files. i thought problem is the sandisk memory card which i upgraded and uploaded with almost 2GB of data in 4GB space but i was wrong...
i deleted all of my stored data from memory card and started using the cell phone...now the same problem come up with the messages and phone memory data...then i realized that i have been robbed by Nokia. This is not a phone that cost 4000 to 5000 buks it costs 4 times that and a consumer can not accept such a slow processing and buggy box for his money.

Nokia E71 — after purchasing mobile is under maintenance

Dear sir,
This is to bring in your kind notice that I have purchased one Nokia E 71on 29th April, 09 via Bill No.442 Book No.9, Suryanssh Communication.No. 41/1B-2G, Friends Tower, Near Syndicate Bank, Sanjay Place, Agra- 282002.
The problem I started getting is the set started getting hanged. I put the mobile on complained to service center via job sheet No[protected]/090604/13, ASC No-243_433527 dated 4th june 09.
Nokia Care center gave me the new Nokia E71, IMEI No [protected]. And this is to my surprise that this set also started giving me the same problem of hanging. I handed over the set to Turbo Infotech F-7, first Floor Maruti Plaza Sanjay place agra-282002 on[protected].
Since then i have not getting any answer which could give me the setisfection.
What I feel about Nokia is a great company where I was not expecting this type of service to happen for Nokia E series mobile. Now I feel fadup with the set and the company as I m not connected to my bussiness and my near and dear. Now tell me what I should do? I am deeply thinking to go in consumer court and will put the matter in the press for not providing the utmost required service.

This is to inform you that I have lost my mobile phone today at approximately 09.15 A.M. while I was riding a motorbike near BC block on the 1st avenue, it unknowingly fell out of my pocket on the way.

I cannot agree more. Myself being a faithful user of Nokia cellphones for the last 15 years. Resently I bought Nokia Model E71 a month back ie., on 4th November, 2009 from its Authorised Dealer M/s Reliance Digital Retail Limited, Vashi, Navi Mumbai - 400705, India under Inv No. 007683. Around a week ago, the device started getting slower in responding especially while accessing contacts saved, SMS or emails. Since yesterday all these facilities have totally stopped working ie., I'm now unable to access the Contacts, SMS as well as the emails configured although the display screen is showing that Messages / Mails are in inbox..Besides the power saver facility is also NOT working ie., I have to recharge after every 4~5 hours although I may have been used it for hardly 20 minutes. I even tried to switch off the device again re-started. Still it does work. I'm afraid, all my contacts, recordings, etc will get lost. This is a very serious Quality issue and I really feel cheated. I'm confident NOKIA will immediately attend to this on TOP PRIORITY BASIS. Reliance Retail refused to attend to the complaint and advised to Contact Nokia India. PLEASE ADVISE CONCERNED TO ENSURE IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT OF THIS FAULTY DEVICE.

Nokia E71 — Pathetic Service

I have spoken to 4 customer service executives today, 23rd Feb 2010. The names of the executives are Pramod, Rashmi, Jaswinder and Rashmi.
My issue:
Since 18th Feb 2010 I am unable to receive any emails on Nokia Messaging. I called on 23rd Feb to discuss this. Here are my observations:
1) Each one of them gave me different responses to my issue.
2) Pramod said there is no server issue and that I have to wait until the evening for issue to be resolved. And that the issue will get resolved on its own.
3) Upon no solution until evening, I called up the toll free no again and this time spoke to Rashmi. Rashmi said that there is a problem with nokia server. It has been down for the last few days. And that I have to delete the email set up from Aps Manager and then login to www.email.nokia.com and download the latest version. Rashmi was on the call with me while I downloaded the latest version. After installation of the new version, I was told to follow the steps of configuring my primary email account. While doing it, it was found that it was only giving me the option to set up the email on 'messaging' and NOT under 'nokia email messaging service'. I was told to try that several times by Rashmi and so I did. However it did not happen and while she went to consult her seniors the call got disconnected
4)Then I called back again and this time spoke to Jaswinder. This guy was not willing to help at all and clearly disconnected my call
5) So I had to call again, this is for the fourth time in less than 10 hours on the same day..and this time I told the receiver that I would like to speak to the supervisor however she said she'll be in a position to help. The agent is Priya. She tried to help me by taking me to www.nokia.co.in site and showed me the procedures. Then I told her that the option to configure the email account on nokia messaging service was not prompted. She kept on putting me on hold to find a solution however nothing helped and after a long time she told me that a technical team will contact me within the next 7 days!!!!!! 7 days for an issue like this???? I told her again that I want to speak to a supervisor. However she said that supervisors are not available. Kindly note. No contact centre can have no supervisors even during high call volume hours..!! Clearly shows that nokia did not have an answer to this problem. After asking for an explanation

why this problem arose she mentioned that the new version is faulty. This means that a faulty application was launched in the market without any UAT?????

Finally after a lot of push, Priya mentioned that I will be contacted within the next 48 hours!!! I still do not have a solution..!!
My Questions:
- How can supervisors not be available?
- How can an application be launched in the market without any testing / UAT??
- What is the difference between a Rs 2000/- worth Nokia phone and a Nokia E71 if I cannot use the email services??
- If you call E71 a business phone how can you give an SLA of 7 days for a call back and solution??? Are business people supposed to sit and wait for Nokia to get a little active???
Honest Feedback:
- I have been using Nokia for the last 15 years and this is the first time I am facing this issue. And this issue will remain in my mind to the extent that I will think twice before buying a Nokia phone the next time
- Dont you think people like me would rather buy Blackberry than buying a business phone from Nokia if this is the kind of service provided??? Do note that each service provider in India has a separate Blackberry service desk to handle and resolve customer issues online. Nokia has a long way to go.
This has been a disgusting experience and it is sad that Nokia inspite of having great ambasadors to promote the product can do nothing at all if this is the service provided!!!!

i purchased a handst nokia 5800 on 21 dec 2010
then after two months its battery was giving poor infact very poor backup .....
i submitted it to nokia care for the change of the battery on 24 feb 2010
they returned me the handset afer a long perod on 8 march 2010

sir this complaint is regards to the nokia x2 i purchased in the month of october 2010
the product was sold telling it has a very good sound quality which was my primary requirement the ph failed to deliver at that part as the sound was not of the highest quality that was the primary issue
however when i tried to transfer data from my computer to the mobile the steel body was giving me electric shocks which as per my understanding should be mentioned in the box that data transfer from computer can be dangerous

Nokia — Nokia E71 is a worst product

I brought Nokia E71 phone worth Rs 19,676 ruppees on May,2009.
As it was the beginning of my professional career I had invested my one month's salary in purchasing the branded product.I did not even give a second thought that i should be buying any phone other than Nokia as it was the trusted one.

In Jan 2011 the phone switched off. I went to Nokia service center to know the reason. The person concerned told me the PCB board is not functioning. The company would have done a replacement if it was under the guarantee period and since the guarantee period had expired, nothing could be done from Nokia company's perspective. The cost of buying a PCB would be Rs.12000 (the present cost of a new phone) and i was advised to buy a new phone.

My question is are the Nokia company not concerned about the goodwill of its products in the market.
Do you even expect me to buy a Nokia product again paying 20,000 rupees? I am seriously not lured by the new Nokia phones coming in the market.

This incidence when I told my family and friends they too agreed on not buying any costly phones and instead of going by the brand go by the duration of the guarantee period a company gives.


The phone that i had brought is in perfect condition and there was no mishandling from my side (neither fell off from my hand nor it was liquid damaged).

The life of such a costly phone's motherboard is onle 1 year 10 months?

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        I purchased the above stated handset vide Bill no. 4828 dt. 30/06/2008 from Nokia Priority Dealer (En Enterprise), Police Bazar, Shillong-01. In this connection, on 28/07/2008 I came to know that there is some bad pixel (black spots) were present on the LCD (display) and on the same day I approached to NOKIA Care, Shillong Center and they gave me a Job Sheet bearing No.[protected]/080728/20 dated 28/07/2008 and told me to come on next day. On the next day I went and not found a reasonable answer from the customer care and they told me to come on next day, unfortunately I sent one of my friend to the Nokia Care and found that the said handset is of Drop Case. Then I went today at around 12:00 noon and told them that when a handset amounting to Rs. 13500/- is purchased which is new one how come it is said that this is a case of droping of mobile phone. It is please to be noted here that, when any one purchases a new mobile after thinking of a esteemed brand and of high end price handset then in that circumstances any one will keep the mobile handset with utmost care and safety but unfortunately the answer given by your Nokia Care is purely vague and beyond any reasonable evidence. However after discussion with them they told me that we will send the handset to Guwahati Nokia Care Service Center to find out the problem and told me to come after 20 days. It is please to be noted here that as a professional I need a Handset every time and as such the company should provide a spare mobile for such term. It may further please to be noted that even after 20 days I hear the same result as aforesaid. Further, it needs to be mentioned here that within 15 days o[censored]sing a mobile phone how can a customer is held liable for droping of mobile without knowing the fact that when any customer purchases a mobile phone he will definitely keep the mobile with utmost care and safety but making a customer liable for dropping is purely fictitious and vague. It might be mishandled in the service center itself as the customer is getting the answer after 3 days that the mobile handsets voids the warranty since it is a case of droping of set.

        Further, it is please to be noted that I have used many other nokia Handsets like Nokia 6670, 6630, 1600, 2100, 5650 etc and never purchased other companies handsets and never complaint for the above stated handsets but this is my First complaint lodged against the above Nokia 6500 Slide mobile which I have hardly used for 15-20 days and found the above answers.

        In the circumstances stated herein above, I call for a replacement or repair of the above handset at the earliest or else I have no other option but to knock the doors of consumer court.

        Handset 6630 — Handset Not Repaired

        Handset started displaying " Start up failed contact retailer". I went to Nokia Care centre named by M/S Modcad Communications, A-21, Nehru Ground, Faridabad N.I.T (Haryana) and gave the handset against job card no.[protected] (ESN no.) on 19.04.2008. They told me over phone that charges for repairs will be RS.970/- which I agreed.They promised to give handset duly repaird in three days time. I went there for delvery but they told it will take some time and asked me to come tommorrow. I went to them on 23.06.08 to listen from them the handset can not be repaired by them. You can take the set back. When I saw the set the ON - OFF Button was missing. They took two days to find the misplaced Key. When again showed me the set, it was not swtiching on. I requested them to give back set at least in the condition in which I gave to You. Now they have told me to bring the set to the initial level on 30.06, 2008
        The apporoach & attitude of persons sitting in the centre was very casual and disappointing.
        It is requested to look into the matter and get the needful done.
        Even the Boys at the ccentre told me to get it repaired privately from Gaffar market in Delhi as they have all arrangement for repairing the handset. Regards.
        hi i need to map lcd problem 6500slide
        even i am facing the same problem as faced by Mr. Sharma. i purchased this handset on 6th Oct and on 8th the screen started going black. the spot increased or reduced don't know how. when i went to the nearest Nokia care Centre, the guy there said the Lcd is damged coz you droped it. when i c;arified this thing, he said even the pressure of your fingers can damge the LCD and he pressed his finger on the screen so hard that some rays came out of it. and thereafter a Full Dark Black Permanent Spot was there.
        are nokia products so delicate that they get damaged by the finger of a girl who is used to nokia hi-tech products?
        definetly i'll be goin to Consumerforum for this problem. i got to know that 2 of my close friends faced the same problem with this new handset.
        suggest what could be done.

        I have read the above complaint about the Nokia 6500 Slider phone and as I have the same exact modal I have not had this problem with dead pixcels and my phone continues to preform as advertised on the Nokia website and manual.

          PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked.           Just call Customer care no. of your SIM provider, and follow instructions.
          they will give u the PUK code.

          You need to tell them your sim no. which is printed on back of your sim card. for this you may have to

                I have purchased an NOKIA 6020 in Mar’07 (with bill of Rs.4950 ESN/IMEI Number 359772/00/631826/6) with an intension in mind that I have purchased a good Brand which would ensure after sale service, after warranty also.

                I have submitted my NOKIA 6020 mobile in Dead Condition (as the mobile slipped from my hand to earth and got dead) to NOKIA CARE CENTRE details cited below:-

                MOBILE SUPER MARKET, SCF-5 Model Town Ext. Market, Near Krishna Mandir, Ludhiana. ASC : 020_343506 Contact Number :[protected]. vide my Job Sheet Number :[protected]/080707/98 dated : 07/Jul/2008

                Initially, the care executive told me repairs will cost you Rs. 200/- and you can collect your mobile after two days, but after one week they are saying the estimated repair cost you Rs 800/- and you could collect your mobile after one week.

                Sir, after one week I went to NOKIA CARE to collect my repaired mobile and I was shocked to hear that my mobile was not repaired due to non availability of its spares parts. The NOKIA CARE Executive said to me that the company has stopped manufacturing of this NOKIA Mobile Model 6020 and the service centre has not any spares availability for this mobile. And they returned the said mobile to me.

                Sir, Finally I want to know that why the company are launching a mobile which after one year the company can’t provide its spares & service.

                Sir, although, my mobile is out of warranty, but I request you to get my mobile repaired or replaced as the company has stopped manufacturing the same model and its spares. Finally, it’s and shortcoming at company’s end.

                Sir, I request you to please do the needful, otherwise, I shall constrain to file a case in Ludhiana Consumer Court for NOKIA’s very very bad service and customer harassment.

                  NOKIA 6030 (MOBILE SET NO IMEI - [protected]) moble set was given to NOKIA CARE ( Vision Care, Hurdutt Rai Chamaria road, howrah, west bengal) for repairing under warrenty period.

                  The mobile set was not repaired by the service center even though the set was kept by the for 40 days.

                  the set was returned to me after 40 odd days without repairing after that I asked the local repairing person to repair the same. It was shocking to know that the NOKIA CARE had tempered my set.

                  I made comlaint to the service centre but no reply has been received from them so far.

                  Coplaint lodged to the nokia support has also not replied properly only has asked me to give a call to the CALL CENTRE

                  I would request to the CONSUMER FORUM to look into the matter and take proper action against the NOKIA CARE so that they compenset me for the loss

                  I have purchase new handset nokia express music 5130 during the month of june 2010, but i regret to inform that it has poor service, the FM and loudspeaker of this phone do not work from the very beginning, i didnt understand why it has poor service, please register my complaint and replace my handset.



                  I believe on nokia blindly with their services and robustness. But just after one month, the handset started giving troubles. Its key was not working properly and gradually it stoped working.



                  since the then time the mobile set is FM problems. for that i have requested the shopkeeper to replace or repair it but unfortunately atlest 30 repeatidly visits to the shop, i always have been assured for the next time for the same. now i am fedup with that situation.



                  I REQUEST U TO REPLACE MY HANDSET BECAUSE I M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE OF NOKIA EXPRESS MUSIC EVEN FOR A SINGLE DAY.                         I had purchased my mobile N81 from M/s The cellular Solutions # 1575, 11th Main. 'T' Block Jayanagar Bangalore-560 041. on 27-2-08
                        I have sent my mobile to Nokia care centre through the dealer at least 7 times complaining about my mobile screen going blank but my dealer Mr sanjay.G has been returning the mobile every time to me with a gap of 10 or 15 days saying that the problem has been rectified but till today such a big company is not able to rectify the problem. The screen of the mobile goes blank in two or three days every time whenever the dealer gives it to me saying that the problem has been rectified. I am frustrated with this hand set I dont want to use this mobile any more and to run around the dealer every time . I demand the dealer to return my money of Rs. 20, 000 himself or from the nokia company within a week or I will go to the consumer court against the dealer and manufacturer for having been selling a manufacturing defect handset to me and has made me to pay interest for my money.                         Nokia — frustrated with mobile N81

                        Dear sir,
                        I had purchased N81 mobile from The Cellular Solutions # 1575, 11th Main, 4th Block. Jayanagar. Bangalore 560 041.Mr Sanjay. G

                        just in two months time my mobile N81 screen became blank and I returned the mobile to the dealer immediately for repair since it was in warranty period. The dealer sent the handset to
                        Nokia care point Jayanagar Bangalore and got it repaired and returned it to me after 1 months time, again the next day same problem occured and I returned the mobile to the dealer to get it repaired once again. This circus happened atleast 4 times and my mobile was lying with Nokia centre atleast for 2 months but till today the hand set problem has not been rectified and I am frustrated with N81 model and lost all my faith in the Nokia company. I have returned my hand set to the dealer and I dont want the mobile back from your company instood I want you to replace the handset with different model or return my money Rs.20000 Immediately .If not I will be claiming for the loss incurred for me due to the manufacturing defect of your mobile N81 legally through customers court.

                        Nokia — Mobile screen went blank

                        Sir/Madam,

                        I am to lodge a complaint again (ref. complaint lodged on 9.4.2011). New handset Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic was purchased by me on 28.5.2010 at Navsari, Gujarat. Since the mobile screen
                        went blank, I asked someone about this and he suggested that the mobile is in 'warranty period' so I should go to Nokia Gallery. I went to your Nokia CARE shop at IRLA, Prime Mall, Vile Parle (W) and I gave it for repair. Your employees said that "music switch was missing and it was tampered' but as far as i know, Till date I have not given my mobile for repair to anyone so the question of it being tampered does not arise.
                        Well, Nokia employee said that the charges would be Rs.250/-, (inspite of the fact that it is in warranty period). Then too I agreed and she asked me to come after 1 hr., after about 1 1/2 hours I was told that she would call in the evening and let me know when I can go and pick up my mobile. This may be a Manufacturing defect, this switch could be missing at the time we purchased it.

                        In the evening (about 6.40 p.m.) I got a call (2-3 times) from Ashita saying that the mobile cannot be repaired and that it has to be sent to Nokia Main Office for further examination and the charges will be Rs.1,638/-. I asked her to let me speak to her Senior, but after keeping me on hold for long, she said the Seniors are busy and that she will call me in 5-10 mins and connect to the Seniors (Vaibhavi or Poonam). After waiting for her call till 7.45 pm I called her and asked her to connect but she did not, then I asked her to tell her senior to wait for some time in office I will come and meet them right away, but she said that they will leave office now for the day.

                        I don't understand if your company is customer-oriented, then why do your employees not give proper service or shriek their duty? Your employees are there to serve and provide solutions and not be rude.

Since then they have been postponing the delivery date by saying that the mobile has to come from higher office DELHI, some transport problems etc., I request you to forward my complaint to the concerned person and help me out in receiving my cell back. If the nokia centre can repair it, PLEASE GIVE ME BACK. . The Service Job Sheet NO is[protected]/080826/16 and IMEI NUMBER [protected]. I am very vexed with their behavior and so do other customers. Please help me in this regard.

                          i have given my handset 6275 cdma due to network drop while using and the handset been taken only 8 months before and its under warranty given it for service on[protected] which till date has not been resolved i find its very difficult to have any information.i think i have been misguided from the service provider that nokia handset is best.
                          i think its the worst of all the companies making handset.
                          till date no body had responded me for the handset status and no replacement been given for that.
                          even though problem exist there should be some standby handset provided to me its already been delayed for 15 days and no replacement or standby been provided please never buy nokia company handset ever in life.
                          I got some problem in my Nokia N73 Music Edition mobile and I have given it to the New Delhi Nokia Care (Lajpat Nagar ) in the month of May. At first they informed that the problem will get resolved and the mobile will be delivered within 10 days(Maximum). Since then they have been postponing the delivery date, Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

                            I have purchase the above set (NOKIA 6088) on 25.06.08 and day one I found that the battery is not holding more than three hrs. It was given to Customer Care, Coimbatore and they send the same to HO. But the problem is not solved and hence once again I have check the same at Customer care, Coimbatore on 24.07.08. Again they have confirm that they have to send the set to HO.

                            I request you to look into the same and do the needful, by replacing the above set including battery with new one. I am totally dissatisfied with this set.

                              I always trust Nokia and its products to be the best of all the mobile companies but I had bought a Nokia 3110c from jaipur with 1gb memory card. But sadly after every 2 months it needs a service by the nokia care where they just update the software n provide no other support for solving that problem.Within an year this is the 4th time i have submitted my phone there.It is very inconvienient for me to give the phone each time.
                              Can you please help me? or Can i get the handset replaced.it has been submitted to the service centre.

Then I went to Nokia Care center for 4 times every time they re-installed the software but still problem exists. Now from 2 months Nokia Care center personnel saying new software will come and it will resolve your problem. My warranty period is ending then what should I do ?                               I have brought the Nokia 3110C in BigC Stores in Kadapa, Andhrapradesh on 20.06.2008.
                              In the month of October 20th i had occured a problem that my mobile is restarting and doesnot displays anything. and it is showling the error"Unable to open. Theme file corrupted" and then restrating...I have gave it to Nokia Care in my home town, they had updated the software and said the same error and they asked 25days to clear that problem. what will be the problem, can u suggest me the problem.

                              On removing mem card phone works fine.
                              I have faced this problem before and i somehow formatted the card after which it worked but this time i'm having imp data on it so this solution is not healthy.

                              1. Switch Off Phone (Remove Memory Car And SIM).
                              2. Star Phone Without Memory Card (But Now You Can Insert SIM)
                              3. Restore Your Phone (Factory Settings) Change Theme (Less Than 100KB In Size) Leave it Switch On For 10 Min.
                              4. Switch Off Phone And Leave it For 10 Min. (Remove SIM Card Also).
                              5. Insert Memory Card + SIM Card And Switch On Phone.
                              6. Enjoy.. :)

                              NOTE : -
                              1. Make Sure To Leave Free Space For Phone Memory Between 500KB +
                              2. This Will Effected For Next 4 - 5 Months …

                                Needless to say, this experience has been the worst in my entire life. You buggers think that you can do anything and take the customer for granted.
                                - First the phone goes kapoot in 1 month.
                                - Then we are assured that the replacement of the bloody "motherboard" will take place in a week.
                                - Date of handing over for repair : 23 june 2008
                                - Todays date: 23 July 2008

                                I was ready for a repair. Then u take a month to handle the case. Then u tell us that the "motherboard" is irrepairable and we will receive a NEW PHONE OF THE SAME SPECS AND COLOUR IN A NEW SEALED BOX SINCE THE EARLIER ONE IS IRREPAIRABLE. Then when we go to the service centre again for the 8th time, u say that WE CANNOT GET A NEW PHONE AND WILL HAVE TO DO WITH AN OLD REPAIRED ONE. WHEN I ASK U FOR THE MONEY BACK, U DONT GIVE ME THAT TOO.

                                this mail is to bring to your notice that I bought a nokia 5310 model on[protected], from cell touch, g2, g3, oppICICI bank Gopika aptts M.L.Furtado Road Margao, goa Ph.No.([protected]). in the name Nivette Rodrigues.The item number is [protected]. But within 3 month of the purchase we faced problems of a black line getting displayed on the screen. i showed this to Nokia care Margao Goa
                                . As per them there is some problem in thedisplay of the phone and it has to send to nokia company for repair.company send the Nokia phone after 15days. on very same dayi face the problem of cell getting hanged and finally swichtoff and not in condition to be used.the nokia care is not ready to replace the cell nor ready to repair it under warranty.and they are not ready to accept their mistake

                                  I bought N-82 Handset From D.K.Marketing-Amritsar on 19.05.08 right from day one this phone has being hanging, switching on and off so i went to jalandhar Nokia care and submitted my hand set on 20.06.2008 i was given a manual job sheet No. 804 and as on now there is still no replacement or repair of my mobile, only answer i get there is that your handset is pending in Chandigarh and we do not know what is happening you call on tuesday, wednesday...


                                  Fail to understand why it takes so long to repair or replace my mobile.

                                  Nokia slogan "Connecting People" is totally baseless, as nokia care Jalandhar Can never be contacted so have to visit personally, where the cunning receptionist makes you what and gives a very rude answer " Your hand set is pending at Chandigarh, we do not know why ?, you come next week." If you go to the back office you meet a person called xxx who says you do not call us we will call you. which never happens and when you ask him what happened he says you will get your mobile on Tuesday which also never happens.

                                  I have given my mobile Nokia 5610-D in nokia care Jalandhar.They have given me contact no.as [protected] which is untraceable.My job card no.[protected]/090226/24 and they have told to check the status in www.namscareonline.com which is also useless.The website mobilecliniic_ [protected]@nokiacareindia.com is also a fake one and useless which was quoted on the jobsheet.So before going to nokia care jalandhar be cautious they are not traceable and unless you have to go there personally for jobs to be done.

                                    we are very sorry to inform you that we have recently purchased a nokia n78-1 handset, imei no [protected], product no 0565647 with certain problems.within a few days of my purchased the L C D became defective.we handover the set to local nokia care and after 17 days they returned the same replacing the L C D.But when we incerted sim card, memory card & battery found that the case of the set was loose and the key board etc came out from its space.so, i again handover the set to the same care centre.since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for money and ask you to doing the needful.

                                      i am the consumer of your mobile phone product.and i am satisfied with it.i have a nokia 6300 mobile phone which i am purchase on dated 20/01/08 from hotspot retail pvt.ltd shop no.3 & 4, property no.c1-a, m.s.c main vikas marg, aruna park laxmi nagar. last month (june) my phone's battery was not working.on dated 07/07/08 i give it in your nokia care (30/28 east patel nagar new delhi branch) they give me return date 15/07/08.they can't give me any response also they can't pick up thier helplines numbers.

                                        My new Nokia N73(purchase date 2nd June) had a memory failure on 3rd July, that is one month within the period of buying. And the service centre which I attended(Kolkata service centre-garia) had completely igronat people sitting at the helpdesk. They said that it will take 10days for them to bring a new memory card of 2GB, whne i visited the centre after 10days they still had not gotten the required product. I will ask the Nokia care people to look into the matter. people sitting in the helpdesk should have a basic minimum training and also they should be fast in serving people. I did not understand the point in keeping a crea centre open if they dont have the material they need to supply to people, and that also 10 days for supplying a new memory card is too much. these people are doing nothing tarnishing the image of a reputable company

                                        nokia-2505 — handset not properly working

                                        I HAVE GIVEN MY HANDSET ON 8-SEPT-08 TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE OFFICE-SUBASH NAGAR JAIPUR AND RECEIVED ON 29-SEPT-08 DUE TO LCD WAS NOT PROPER, NETWORK PROBLEM AND CHARGING PROBLEM AFTER RECIEVING AGAIN LCD PROBLEM ARISES ON THE NEXT DATE i.e. on 30-sept now you just only say what the next step i should take for the same; set is under guarantee period
