In last month -fist of all my mobile not showing contacts numbers store in mobile. and next day after power on my mobile then whit display comes in blue colours 'NOKIA' comes .after that not booting & againt restart my mobile. Then go to nokia care & reinstalled softer -code o522253 . But after few days gone sane problem comes on. So, my question is it is internal hardware problemes or not properly installed software code-0522253. My nobile type -RM-51 FCC ID -QTKRM-51 IC:661AD-RM51, 352740/01/250847/4, CODE:0522253, 0018C5B55F11 this is my mobile information. Please replay me.

    HI,
    My name is ashra hashmi i am having n 70 music ed. who IME no:-[protected], it was hanging and getting restart when i have given it for fist time servicing at that time it was in warranty, now last month same problem arise and now i have given it for servicing in nagpur gandhibag nokia care center, first they have given me the mobile by saying problem is solved and at the mean time again the problem come, then they have taken my mobile and after a week they are saying your mobile can not be repaired .
    I have give my mobile to a genuin company sevice center then also i am getting such type of answer.

    now let me know what should i do..

      Hello Sir,

      I am Santosh Solanki from Bhopal (M.P.). I bought Nokia N82 IMEI# [protected] from THE MOBILE STORE (Bhopal) on 09/04/2008. After working properly for two months, I had a problem of blinking flash light of camera that is on the rear side of the cellphone. I went to customer service center (Sameer Nokia Care) here in Bhopal and they kept the handset with them for repair. Please note here that the my cell and its camera were perfectly okay except it had blinking flashlight. After around 1 month, I got a call from care center and they hand me the cellphone which had the camera not functioning at all.
      Now they say it had got moisture in it and camera will not work. Please let me know what can be done now as cellphone is in warranty period and the problem with which I went to customer center was just flashlight and now even the camera is not working after one month at customer service center. Am I the one responsible for moisture which was not there and the camera was just fine when the handset was with me or if I am responsible for the moisture even for the period it was in repairing.

      They say it cannot be replaced and it will cost me 75% of the price of cellphone that is around 15, 000 Rs. Also, the camera has started to have problem of getting hanged and always I have to get the battery out and put it in again to get it restarted again.

      Please help me.

      nokia n 82 — nokia care not responding responsibly

      I purchased my nokia n 82 a month back. i used it p a regular basis but one day i saw coloured patch on the screen.i went to the nokia care centre where they opened the cellphone to check the circuit board ane broke the screen.the said it will be sent to delhi for screen replacement.today i went to the centre to check the satus.they told me its coming in next lot but is not repaired.when asked for the reason they had no answer why it was not repaired.and when i checked for the satus viz sms tit says "Closed - Sent to L3 Delivery on 8/28/2008" can someone tell what it means???????

      Nokia N82 — speaker not functioning

      For your information, i bought nokia phone on 2 july 2008. my cell phone speaker is not working. i went sevral times at nokia care center at Mandi Gobindgarh, (Punjab) but they had not taken my complaint. please get me some remedie. my n82 serial no is [protected].

      I BROUGHT A NOKIA N73 M EDITION AND IT GOT PROBLEM, SO I GIVEN TO THE NOKIA CARE THEY KEPT MY PHONE FOR 6 DAYS AND THEY GIVEN THIS BACK TO ME ON SATURDAY, AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE... IS ANY ADVISE ON THIS, BECAUSE I AM PLANING TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT BECAUSE MY PHONE WARREN TRY DATE WILL BE 26TH OF FEB. THESE GUYS REALLY NOT WORKING AND JUST THEY ARE GIVING BACK TO US.

      Nokia N-82 — Cellphone not repaired from last 2 months

      I have given my cellphone N-82 for repairing at one of the Nokia Care centre named as Bohra Communication, Shahibaug Ahmedabad in January, 2009. At this point of time the Product was under warranty and which was to exprire by 6th of February, 2009. There was a problem in flash light of camera which was on continious without any reason whatsoever. They return me cellphone first two times saying that there is the cellphone is repaired and the problem is over. Third time when i gave phone to that service centre they said me that they will send it to Delhi Nokia Care centre for repairing work done. Rather sending it to Delhi they kept cellphone with them, used the phone for their own purpose and returned to me within four day of time given for service 3rd time saying there is no defect in the phone and the problem matter is solved. The fact is that during the period of third service when they used for their own purpose saying to us that they will send to to Delhi Nokia Care, they have neither sent to Delhi nor repaired at their own Service center at Shahibaug, Ahmedabad. Apart from that they have broken the LCD Screen of the Cellphone and they are not accepting that they have broken the LCD Screen which costs around about Rs. 3, 000/-. Now, Please take some strict action against such Nokia Service Centre and make it possible for me get my repaired my cellphone with above problems.

      I dont know whether u r giving to authorised service centres. My N82 had a patch appeared on the screen its almost 6 months old.. had lot of scratches.. I went to nokia centre here in Kochi, Kerala..

      They said it could have been due to excessive pressure on screen.

      Anyways replaced it for free and gave it back next afternoon..
      dear sir,
      i bought n-82 last year.after 2 months its camera stopped working and i gave it in nokia bangalore centre.i got it back but again the same problem occured along with sound problem. likewise it is my fifth time that i got it repaired from same bangalore nokia centre(jayanagar branch).as i am a fed up now with every now and then visiting your nokia centre. i think i made a big mistake trusting nokia.
      i request you to either replace my set or you pay me back its current price.

      actually i got a problem in my nokia n 82 . camera was not working, when i open the cam shutter the cam ill open then after 6 sec the display shows that "unexpected error occured please switch off the mobile and restart" so how to rectified the prob whats the solution . send me a proper solution as soon as possible .but before 6 sec v can get capture a image and v can delete it and again v can take the image.

      Nokia N82 — N82 problem

      I've 2 mobile nokia N82 since 14 Oct 2008 With serial no.[protected] & [protected] i get them from KSA , since then i went nokia care center with a proplem within the speakers for 3 times. Last time they fixed the problem but they disrupt the battary recharging so the mobil turn off after some hour without using. I came back to them reporting this proplem & they promise me to fix this problem but last week i was there at nokia care center they give me one of the 2 mobile that isnot fixed well.I call them to complain this service & ask them to change these mobiles with 2 new mobiles.till now I am waiting.

      and its xenon flash is also not working.
      The phone just hangs with a grey screen. So i give my nokia to NOKIA CARE it took about 2 weeks to get back and said it was the display problem so they change it and charge Rs. 2000 for that. Again after 2 days i have taken it to same centre it took about a week to repair. They updated the software twicely still the same problem. Again, i have taken it to same centre. after 10 days, I got back the phone in a bad quality with all repair marks on phone it was really in bad condition, but still it wasnot working. And now the same problem is occuring to my phone, and my warranty period is over. Now i must spend all my expenses from my pocket am really frustrated. I lost trust in NOKIA.

        This is to inform you that i have purchased Nokia 5310Xpress Music a couple of months ago. A couple of weeks earlier there is some problem in the phone. it is not catching the signals properly and some time it showS no signal or a message i.e. sim card registration failed. Moreover it is automatically switching off and there is some problem with its boot set up too.

        My set is under now 07 months warrantly and i have submitted it for repair in the united mobile office lahore. After the lapse of stipulated time i have communicated with them about the return of my phone but they are making a excuse that they are unable to repair my set. As a result they send my set to Nokia and they dont exactly tell me when my set will be ok and delivered back to me.

        well in my life i used many sets of Nokia due to their user friendly setup and reliability but on this issue this is seriouly causing a nuisance for me. Kindly redress my grievance in the intrest of your valued customer as soon as possible.

          I had reported the above problem on 29th June 2008 at your Baroda service station(Divya electronics) .A Job sheet was generated and the phone was sent to Delhi for repair work.
          After one month of follow-ups I got my phone back only yesterday evening (6th August 2008).

          To my surprise after one hour of receiving the phone same problem started(Display screen not working)

          I request you to let me know the next course of action from your side.

          Your early action in this regard will be appreciated.

            Nokia — music sound

            I have puchased nokia n 70 ME in Jan.07. When I play MP3 through earset whizing sound with music comes out causing a bit noise. Why it is casuing I d'nt know.               Dear Sir,

              I gave my handset for service on 1st JULY2008 at Koramangal nokia care centre in BAngalore, they told me to collect the handset on 12th JULY2008 I went on 12th to collect the Handset but they told me to come on 24th of JULY, again i went on 24th JULY2008. again they told me to come after 1st AUG2008 again i went on 1st again they told me to come after 8th AUG 2008. And now they are telling we will replace ur handset due to problem and they are not doing it. I dont know when will i reciev the NEw handset? Please do the Needful.                 N-70 — flickering

                Complaint registered at M/s. Shri Shakti Communication- Hubli vide Job Sheet No:[protected] / 081007 / 16 dtd 7/10/08. Was sent on 7th under warranty and had to send the same again as it was not attended properly. the flickering / screen turning into milky white is the problem, and im unable to use the same. was also very much disgusted with very vague answers from mr. sarcar and vinayak of nokia careline, until last word i spoke never showed any inclination of sorting the issue. im sure the service people in the centre are not proffesioanls and im made to go the odd trauma for which my belief on NOKIA is shaken. I request a proper and immediate services from the company.i require a REPLY under copy to the centre.

                  Sir,
                  I have purchased mobile N-73-1 in the month of september-07, but till now it has been submitted to customer care 05 times, and from last two times it has been submitted for repeation job. Main problem is data cable and ear phone not connecting .
                  since 12th July -08 it is under Tunni Telecom, Roorkee, but we are not founding the status on your namscareonline.com. it is showing job sheet not found.

                  Please help us and let us updated about our status.

                      Nokia 6233 — re arising problems

                      i have purchased a nokia 6233 mobile from quilon radio service, pulimoodu, thiruvananthapuram, kerala.from the very first day there occured a problem with its camera and i approached nokia service at pattom .after two weeks they rectified the problem.again i found a problem with its speaker and i carried it to nokia service on 19th april 2008(job sheet no:[protected]/080419/74).after three weeks i went to collect my mobile back after servicing.but at the service centre itself i found it not working .they said it as software problem & took it back.i hav called them many times and i hav'nt got any reliable reply yet(27may 2008).plese take necessary steps to rectify my problem

                      i got problem with my 6233 cellphone, if i played music through the speakers at high volume. every time i got the ringer problem by listening through speakers. nokia phones means not to arise any problems even we use rashly. but listening through speakers at max volume causes the ringer tone problem. this is unsatisfactory. and it has no fast forwarding

                        i have purchased nokia 3110 c 1 month ago and out of this 1 month the phone stays more than 13 days in your service station sheetla WLLservices i am not even satisfied with the way of dealing they have also tampered my new phone body . the status of job sheet shows that it is repared but they are unable to provide my phone back so i am not satisfied with the way of nokia deling with their customers . i am highly obliged of you if you can solve my problem.if in this way you are dealing in future so i have to take necessary legal actions.

                          I have submitted my nokia 2630 handset, due to network error.I approached nokia service centre and they said a little bit of moisture in lcd display panel, therefore there is no warranty for the set.I refused to collect the handset from them.Now the handset is with nokia authorised service centre.

                          I think problem not only with handset also with service dept.They dont know how to solve the problem.

                          Dont buy nokia...

                            Sub Regarding Dissatisfaction of Nokia Customer Care

                            Sir,

                            I Harbaldeep singh Buy Nokia from Patiala .and face a problem in the Scroll key of my phone 5610 on 10 june 2008, the scroll key of phone was not working so I went to nokia customer care and tell them to sort out the problem in reply customer care executive told me that phone will be delivered to u with in a day, but I shouldn’t get back my phone till today after many more reminders he also don’t give me even single response about the status of my phone, I visited nokia customer care many times but the response of your prestigious company’s executives were very poor. Please find enclosed attachment given by Customer care Patiala.

                            Dear All,

                            I hope through this forum I can address an issue and perhaps get heard. I have a Nokia N 70 series phone which had developed a blank screen problem. Upon submitting it to the Nokia Care centre on 22nd May, 2008, I was told that it will be sent to the company as it was under warranty.
                            On the 11th July 2008, after repeated follow-ups, I was finally told that the phone would not be covered under warranty as it had a liquid damage. I was even given an estimate written on the job sheet stating a few problems with the condition "In case set is ok."
                            Today it is the 5th of September, 2008 and after numerous mails to the Nokia Customer Care as well as follow ups the local Nokia Care, I am still told that there is no progress and when I do go to collect my phone from the Nokia Care, I'm greeted with blank expressions and sometimes lame excuses like there is no power so we cannot check, the person has gone out for some work etc.

                            I have agreed to even pay for the repair but there is no substance or even a sense of ownership from Nokia, which is extremely disheartening.
                            Such abysmal service will be the main reason for this company's downfall, I am confident.

                            I can only hope that my appeal doesn't fall on deaf ears and also acts as a caution for all those people who are blinded by the Nokia "brand" but are unaware of the true colours of this brand.

                              I had a talk with Airtel`s Customer Care representative some 15 days ago regarding the activation of GPRS service on my handset.Right now I am in Bihar and have also received the settings for the same.But when I press 0 for a long time, i receive a error message indicating "Subscribe to Packet Data First" & "Link not available".I tried to talk with any Airtel`s representative on 121 but the calls automatically ends when I press 9 to talk to any Customer Care Representaitve.kindly resolve the issue.My IMSI is [protected] and i am currently in Bihar.Looking for your quick action.

                                I just want to bring it in to your kind notice that this instrument has been repaired by yourself at given address around one month ago, I have faced the same problem a after 3-4 days usage only & i have submitted the same to your Sector - 2, Nokia Care Centre.
                                Nokia itself is a brand name in Mobile Industry & we all trust Nokia brand only because of the Quality of the instrument & the services provided by Nokia.
                                Repeating of the problem in a very short span of 3-4 days doesn't give a good impression on the Customer & in this scenario you will be loosing your customer as than there will be no difference between Nokia & others.
                                Sir, I am not sure about the manufacturing quality of this particular instrument so i request you to please replace the instrument on immediate basis.

                                Sir,
                                Well, I have a bought this model Nokia 6300, and now I'm facing quite a ridiculous problem. Every time I got to check the mine Mobile either it has network coverage or not.. as the mobile completely loses it's signal and doesn't searches automatically. I have been to the sales centre from where i have purchased they blame on the service providers.. but i guess non of other users are facing scuh problems. now i lose trust n faith in NOkIA sets and it service whre should i report it I don't know. it's been only a short time i have purchased and the retailer isn't ready to accept it as a failure product ... Do u have any solutions ??????????????

                                  I have purchased a NOKIA 1208 on 15th Apr'2008 and this set was in warrenty period for 1 year But after 1 month I have found demo mode problem in my mobile, I have contact with Nokia center 5 times Now 4 months Have passed from til date in this problem . i.e. mobile taking from Nokia center to home and next day return to Nokia centre for repairing only for same problem. But til date it was remained with same problem.
                                  Now I want to replace this set so I contact Nokia centre for replacing But he told me that it was affected by water problem So, It could not be replaced or repaired.

                                    We purchase a mobile N70 in the month of 20th April 2008.After one year 21april 2008 the mobile is atomaticaly swicth off.Then we go to Nokia care they told that is out of warranty so it repair on chargable basis.I agree with them and the repair that after one month same problem come and still it is not repair.Please suggest me what can i do and where i will go ...

                                    Nokia handset N-70 — Screen becoming blank

                                    had the opportunity to up-gradet o a Nokia N-70 handset brg IMEI Number [protected] in April 2007 along with many of my colleagues as Corporate customers.
                                    I am constrained to convey that the said Mobile set went bust on 6th March 2008 with the screen going blank slowly, although the phone kept on working. After getting the location of the nearest Nokia care centre from your Bangalore centre on 7th March 2008, the same was submitted to M/s Micronas Telecom, Sector 27, Noida on 8th of March 2008.
                                    After 10 days i received a call today conveying that Nokia Repair Centre has examined the handset and has inferred that the set is irrepairable citing 'ingress of liquid' as the proable cause and further conveyed that Nokia is not in a position to do anything in this case as this particular clause is not covered under warranty. I am completely flabbergasted, not because of loss of set worth more than Rs 15000/ but the callousl way Nokia has is trying to unbond the relationship assiduously developed in the past 4 years between Nokia and a customer.
                                    I would like to convey and vouch that there has been NO ACCIDENTAL INGRESS OF ANY LIQUID OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE FROM MY SIDE. This particular thing has been reluctantly agreed by the concerned staff at the Nokia Centre ie there is no physical damage, however they reiterate that due to moisture on the mother board the problem has occurred. IF due to excessive atmospheric humidity, some moisture settles on the motherboard, IS the Customer responsible for the same just because the system is not designed to handle the same. Agreed, if it is confirmed that there is external ingress of liquid due to the fault of customer, Nokia should not be held responsible but in this case this particular clause is being shall i say 'Misused' to wriggle out of the situation.
                                    It does pain in the heart to lose a set within a year but it makes me astounded the way Nokia has conveyed the loss of set(irrepairable) unmindful of the loss of goodwill and reputation they will earn from a Corporate premium customer. It smells of autocratic behaviour of a Market Leader which i fear is not a good sign.

                                    Nokia N70 — uddenly mobile off

                                    I was updating my N70 through Nokia Updater, In the mean while phone switched off suddenly being fully battery charged. Since than phone was not ON. I want to nokia customer care they have started the phone but it was without back light and display, I can call and receive calls. and I can only operate my n70 in the sufficient light available out side and it is very difficult to see in darkness.                                     I have an N70 that has suddenly started some wierd stuff.
                                    The screen on start-up starts in white then multicoloured pixels then scrolles between white and scrambled coloured screen. I have tried all the *#7370# and the * + 3 + answer key on start up but nothing works.It has not recieved any impact of any kind.Was fine yesterday today no go.Any ideas????

                                      Someone has been trying to contact me for the last 2 days from the number [protected], but unfortunately I have not been able to speak with him/her.

                                      Either I am at work where in I am unable to attend the call or when I called the same number this morning (Friday around 10:05 and 10:46) but there was no response.

                                      Yet again the same thing is happening with the phone what had happend when it was new. I had mentioned that I lost all my data as the memory got corrupted. Today again the same thing happend but this time it was partial data that I lost. I lost all the videos that I stored in the mobile and couple of songs. I had recorded some of the performances this morning, which I lost by evening.

                                      What do you have to say about this? Would you also accuse me of doing something to the mobile as the Manager in the Nokia Concept Store did? I think I am not a fool to do something to my own mobile and loose all the data. Now there is NO WAY that I can get those recording back.

                                      This Nokia E71 is literally testing my patience. An early resolution would be really appriciated. I am not going to approach the Manager again as I NO NOT wish to speak with that "DUMB WALL" again.

                                      I had been a very loyal customer of Nokia since year 2000. I must have changed at least 15 mobiles since then all from Nokia and nothing else and at the same time I had been recommending Nokia to all my friends and relatives. Unfortunately I am not going to do that anymore, reason being the poor quality of the new mobiles and especially the customer service at the Nokia outlets, when I say Nokia outlets, I mean the Company Outlets like “Nokia Priority”, “Nokia Concept Store” because I do not prefer buying mobiles from anywhere else except the Nokia store.
                                      This changed after I bought an E71 from the Nokia Concept Store in Bangalore, address mentioned below.

                                      The kind of response I received at this store made me change my mind forever. I shall NEVER, EVER recommend Nokia product to anyone and as far as possible I am going to stop people from buying any Nokia product. I know it would not make much difference to you or your sales as there are plenty of dumb people out there like me to buy Nokia product with their eyes shut.

                                      I went through all the reviews on the net about the E71 and was quite convinced that it is indeed a good phone. And I decided to go for it. Anyway I bought the E71 on the 26th July from the above shop in Bangalore. On the same evening I transferred all my data from my old phone E61i to the new one through data transfer software. Though it took a lot of time but finally everything was transferred to the new phone and I checked the same in the new phone and confirmed that everything had been transferred to the new phone. I then deleted all the data from the E61i as I had sold it off to a friend of mine.

                                      In a few hours time I was just browsing through the menu of the E71 and went to the gallery and opened a file and suddenly this message popped up which said “Memory Corrupted”, I couldn’t believe it and I went to the main screen and again I tried opening the file from the gallery and yet again the same message popped up. I tried switching it off and on again but still the same thing happened. I even tried taking the memory out thinking that reseating the memory card may solve the issue but I could not take the memory card out.

                                      I went to the same showroom next morning that is on 27th July and complained about the same. The salesman looked at the phone and tried all stunts but the same message kept popping. He then asked me to wait for the Manager of the showroom, Mr. Zubair Ahmed. Now this is one character I am most ANNOYED with. Honestly speaking, this man does not deserve to be in the position he is at.

                                      Anyway, I didn’t have to wait too long and Mr.Zubair Ahmed came to me. I explained the whole issue to him, what I did and how I transferred all my data and how I lost all of it in a matter of few hours and to my disbelief, Mr.Zubair Ahmed accused me of fiddling with the phone and held me responsible for the same. I explained to him in the best possible way that this was not my first mobile and I have always been doing it but never faced any issue. But Mr.Ahmed seemed to be just stuck to only one thing and kept accusing me of spoiling the phone. I was absolutely shocked to get this kind of response but I couldn’t help it as I felt that I am talking to a wall.

                                      The man asked me to come back on Monday as 27th being Sunday, he said nothing could be done. I had to agree as I had made the mistake of buying a mobile worth 21000.00 Rupees. I went to the showroom next morning and The Great Mr.Zubair Ahmed is there. Without uttering a word I handed over the phone to him, he again did the same stunts with the mobile and convinced himself that the memory indeed was corrupted and yet again he said that I did something to the mobile, which resulted in the memory card getting corrupted.

                                      I told him one more issue with the phone. As per the review and technical specifications provided on the net, the battery of the mobile is supposed to last for 10 hours and 30 minutes in talk mode and 17 (Seventeen days) in standby mode. Unfortunately a fully charged battery didnt even last for 24 hours in standby mode, out of which I used the phone for just 18 minutes and the battery was totally dead.

                                      I felt, I made the biggest mistake of my life buying the E71. Never did I feel in the past when I bought 5110, 3310, 3315, 6600, 7610, 6800, N91, 6610, then there was this phone with a camera that could be twisted around, N70, N72, N73, E61i and finally this E71 and for the first time I felt that I literally wasted my money by buying this phone.

                                      I am so frustrated that I have decided never to buy any Nokia phone ever again. This is not only because of the bad product like the E71 but mainly because of the kind of response I received from Mr.Zubair Ahmed. I say it again that he does not deserve the position of a manager because he can not take simple decisions like changing the set immediately, which the salesman advised me 100% replacement within 48 hours in case there is a problem with the set. The manager was so irresponsible that he not only can not take a decision but he stoops down to the level of accusing the customer itself for any issues with the mobile.

                                      I want to raise a formal complaint about the Manager of the store Mr. Zubair Ahmed and also about the phone. I want to see what actions Nokia takes about my concerns. Of course I do not expect much from Nokia as it has such amazing employees.

                                      Here is a list of issues I had with the E71
                                      1. The Memory got corrupted for absolutely no reason.
                                      2. The battery does not last more than 24 hours in standby mode.
                                      3. The battery does not last more than 2 hours in talk mode.
                                      4. The applications do not work properly. For eg. The GPS, which is supposed to be free for the first 3 months.
                                      5. The mobile hangs completely after I run GPS. I can neither switch it off nor do anything else with it. The only way left is to remove the battery and the put it back.
                                      6. The camera clarity is not good, though company claims it is a 3.2 MP camera but it is definitely not upto the mark. I’d say the N73 is anytime a better than E71.
                                      7. The keys are too close to each other.
                                      8. The headphone jack not good either. It has to be inserted upto a certain point in the socket or else the sound goes off.
                                      9. The e-mail could not be configured on the phone even after following the steps mentioned in the catalogue.
                                      10. Overall I would rate E71 only 4/10

                                      Of all the phones that I used, I was most satisfied with the E61i. It is indeed a wonderful phone.

                                      Oh yes, E61i reminds me of one more thing about the so called manager Mr. Zubair Ahmed. 26th July I bought the mobile and on 28th July I asked him to exchange the mobile with an E61i and can you imagine the response from Mr.Ahmed? He offered me only 15000.00 Rupees for a mobile that was bought just 1 and ½ days back from his shop itself and that too it was only lying in my house without being used.

                                      Can I get some kind of response from anyone who is sensible enough to understand my concerns, someone who is in authority, someone who can understand and analyze the situation and take decisions. I would really be grateful.

                                      In case I am writing this to the wrong department or people, can you please forward this to the relevant department and relevant people.

                                      Nokia N70 — Data transfer problem from message box to gallery

                                      Dear sir, I am facing some problem in my handset Nokia N70.I am not able to transfer my data from message box to gallery, recieved through bluetooth.
                                      It shows no space in music player but in reality there is 188MB is free.
                                      so please approve my request, I will be highly oblieged to u for this kind work.
                                      I agree to all those issues listed by Aninda as I have myself have been facing the same over the past few days with E 71. However today was the height. I was installing an application when it rebooted and after that I could not find any media files (audio or video) and several java apps which was earlier installed.
                                      After that it wont let me install any Java (.jar file) on it and pops an error message "unable to install".
                                      This is really frustrating as it does not even tell me why it is failing. When I try resetting it to factory default it is now so messed up that none of the keys are working !!!

                                      I bought an E71 two days ago. Everything worked fine- copied data from old E61 with the wonderful function the E71 has-was a breeze. company e-mail set up in 3 mins flat. But today I got the message that my 2GB data card is corrupted. I came across these complaints while trying to figure out if I could reformat the card myself.

                                      I suspect the issue coul dbe because the Nokia Suite version 7 that I have does not have a disconnect option like the 6 version. I exit the application, left click the safely remove hardware icon in the taskbar. But with the E71 always got the message that cannot remove the hardware as some program is using it (even after closing all the applications). There is no indicator light or message on the PC screen or on the phone which indicates whether the memory card is being read or not. Most of the corruption issues would probably be from a disconnection when the card is being read from or written to. But with the E71 there does not seem to be a safe way to determine whether it is safe to disconnect.

                                      I had a similar problem in the E61 which I used for 20 months. It used to hang a few times with the data card inside. The Nokia service centre advised me to remove the data card for a few days everytime this happened! I essentially never used the data card after that. Maybe am looking to the same fate in the E71.

                                      But I am a dedicated Nokia fan and will soldier on to find a solution...at least till I do not face bigger issues.

                                      I had been a very loyal customer of Nokia since year 2000. I must have changed at least 15 mobiles since then all from Nokia and nothing else and at the same time I had been recommending Nokia to all my friends and relatives. Unfortunately I am not going to do that anymore, reason being the poor quality of the new mobiles and especially the customer service at the Nokia outlets, when I say Nokia outlets, I mean the Company Outlets like “Nokia Priority”, “Nokia Concept Store” because I do not prefer buying mobiles from anywhere else except the Nokia store.
                                      This changed after I bought an E71 from the Nokia Concept Store in Bangalore, address mentioned below.

                                      The kind of response I received at this store made me change my mind forever. I shall NEVER, EVER recommend Nokia product to anyone and as far as possible I am going to stop people from buying any Nokia product. I know it would not make much difference to you or your sales as there are plenty of dumb people out there like me to buy Nokia product with their eyes shut.

                                      I went through all the reviews on the net about the E71 and was quite convinced that it is indeed a good phone. And I decided to go for it. Anyway I bought the E71 on the 26th July from the above shop in Bangalore. On the same evening I transferred all my data from my old phone E61i to the new one through data transfer software. Though it took a lot of time but finally everything was transferred to the new phone and I checked the same in the new phone and confirmed that everything had been transferred to the new phone. I then deleted all the data from the E61i as I had sold it off to a friend of mine.

                                      In a few hours time I was just browsing through the menu of the E71 and went to the gallery and opened a file and suddenly this message popped up which said “Memory Corrupted”, I couldn’t believe it and I went to the main screen and again I tried opening the file from the gallery and yet again the same message popped up. I tried switching it off and on again but still the same thing happened. I even tried taking the memory out thinking that reseating the memory card may solve the issue but I could not take the memory card out.

                                      I went to the same showroom next morning that is on 27th July and complained about the same. The salesman looked at the phone and tried all stunts but the same message kept popping. He then asked me to wait for the Manager of the showroom, Mr. Zubair Ahmed. Now this is one character I am most ANNOYED with. Honestly speaking, this man does not deserve to be in the position he is at.

                                      Anyway, I didn’t have to wait too long and Mr.Zubair Ahmed came to me. I explained the whole issue to him, what I did and how I transferred all my data and how I lost all of it in a matter of few hours and to my disbelief, Mr.Zubair Ahmed accused me of fiddling with the phone and held me responsible for the same. I explained to him in the best possible way that this was not my first mobile and I have always been doing it but never faced any issue. But Mr.Ahmed seemed to be just stuck to only one thing and kept accusing me of spoiling the phone. I was absolutely shocked to get this kind of response but I couldn’t help it as I felt that I am talking to a wall.

                                      The man asked me to come back on Monday as 27th being Sunday, he said nothing could be done. I had to agree as I had made the mistake of buying a mobile worth 21000.00 Rupees. I went to the showroom next morning and The Great Mr.Zubair Ahmed is there. Without uttering a word I handed over the phone to him, he again did the same stunts with the mobile and convinced himself that the memory indeed was corrupted and yet again he said that I did something to the mobile, which resulted in the memory card getting corrupted.

                                      I told him one more issue with the phone. As per the review and technical specifications provided on the net, the battery of the mobile is supposed to last for 10 hours and 30 minutes in talk mode and 17 (Seventeen days) in standby mode. Unfortunately a fully charged battery didnt even last for 24 hours in standby mode, out of which I used the phone for just 18 minutes and the battery was totally dead.

                                      I felt, I made the biggest mistake of my life buying the E71. Never did I feel in the past when I bought 5110, 3310, 3315, 6600, 7610, 6800, N91, 6610, then there was this phone with a camera that could be twisted around, N70, N72, N73, E61i and finally this E71 and for the first time I felt that I literally wasted my money by buying this phone.

                                      I am so frustrated that I have decided never to buy any Nokia phone ever again. This is not only because of the bad product like the E71 but mainly because of the kind of response I received from Mr.Zubair Ahmed. I say it again that he does not deserve the position of a manager because he can not take simple decisions like changing the set immediately, which the salesman advised me 100% replacement within 48 hours in case there is a problem with the set. The manager was so irresponsible that he not only can not take a decision but he stoops down to the level of accusing the customer itself for any issues with the mobile.

                                      I want to raise a formal complaint about the Manager of the store Mr. Zubair Ahmed and also about the phone. I want to see what actions Nokia takes about my concerns. Of course I do not expect much from Nokia as it has such amazing employees.

                                      Here is a list of issues I had with the E71
                                      1. The Memory got corrupted for absolutely no reason.
                                      2. The battery does not last more than 24 hours in standby mode.
                                      3. The battery does not last more than 2 hours in talk mode.
                                      4. The applications do not work properly. For eg. The GPS, which is supposed to be free for the first 3 months.
                                      5. The mobile hangs completely after I run GPS. I can neither switch it off nor do anything else with it. The only way left is to remove the battery and the put it back.
                                      6. The camera clarity is not good, though company claims it is a 3.2 MP camera but it is definitely not upto the mark. I’d say the N73 is anytime a better than E71.
                                      7. The keys are too close to each other.
                                      8. The headphone jack not good either. It has to be inserted upto a certain point in the socket or else the sound goes off.
                                      9. The e-mail could not be configured on the phone even after following the steps mentioned in the catalogue.
                                      10. Overall I would rate E71 only 4/10

                                      Of all the phones that I used, I was most satisfied with the E61i. It is indeed a wonderful phone.

                                      Oh yes, E61i reminds me of one more thing about the so called manager Mr. Zubair Ahmed. 26th July I bought the mobile and on 28th July I asked him to exchange the mobile with an E61i and can you imagine the response from Mr.Ahmed? He offered me only 15000.00 Rupees for a mobile that was bought just 1 and ½ days back from his shop itself and that too it was only lying in my house without being used.

                                      Can I get some kind of response from anyone who is sensible enough to understand my concerns, someone who is in authority, someone who can understand and analyze the situation and take decisions. I would really be grateful.

                                      Yes, I must agree with the above complaints. I too have been a nokia fan for some time and was enthused to purchase the new E71, however, I have, within a matter of 4 months, been dissuaded by the phones performance. I have experienced much of the above issues and will no longer recommend or, moreover, use nokia products until they can resolve the memory card corrupt issue (being that I lost some important data before having a chance to back it up). Maybe YOU ARE better off with an IPHONE.

                                      Hi, i bought Nokia E71 on 8-May-2009 and within a month I am tired of its behaviour of memory reading. it started with the lost of images from the memory card but at the same time memory scan was showing that data was still there. After one day when data came back it was completely restructured...all of the folders created by me were not there and all images appeared in the root folder. This was the starting story...after this same thing happened with videos and other files. i thought problem is the sandisk memory card which i upgraded and uploaded with almost 2GB of data in 4GB space but i was wrong...
                                      i deleted all of my stored data from memory card and started using the cell phone...now the same problem come up with the messages and phone memory data...then i realized that i have been robbed by Nokia. This is not a phone that cost 4000 to 5000 buks it costs 4 times that and a consumer can not accept such a slow processing and buggy box for his money.

                                      Since then i have not getting any answer which could give me the setisfection.
                                      What I feel about Nokia is a great company where I was not expecting this type of service to happen for Nokia E series mobile. Since yesterday all these facilities have totally stopped working ie., I'm now unable to access the Contacts, SMS as well as the emails configured although the display screen is showing that Messages / Mails are in inbox..Besides the power saver facility is also NOT working ie., I have to recharge after every 4~5 hours although I may have been used it for hardly 20 minutes. I even tried to switch off the device again re-started. Still it does work. I'm afraid, all my contacts, recordings, etc will get lost. This is a very serious Quality issue and I really feel cheated. I'm confident NOKIA will immediately attend to this on TOP PRIORITY BASIS. Reliance Retail refused to attend to the complaint and advised to Contact Nokia India.                                       Nokia E71 — Pathetic Service

                                      I have spoken to 4 customer service executives today, 23rd Feb 2010. The names of the executives are Pramod, Rashmi, Jaswinder and Rashmi.
                                      My issue:
                                      Since 18th Feb 2010 I am unable to receive any emails on Nokia Messaging. I called on 23rd Feb to discuss this. Here are my observations:
                                      1) Each one of them gave me different responses to my issue.
                                      2) Pramod said there is no server issue and that I have to wait until the evening for issue to be resolved. And that the issue will get resolved on its own.
                                      3) Upon no solution until evening, I called up the toll free no again and this time spoke to Rashmi. Rashmi said that there is a problem with nokia server. It has been down for the last few days. And that I have to delete the email set up from Aps Manager and then login to www.email.nokia.com and download the latest version. Rashmi was on the call with me while I downloaded the latest version. After installation of the new version, I was told to follow the steps of configuring my primary email account. While doing it, it was found that it was only giving me the option to set up the email on 'messaging' and NOT under 'nokia email messaging service'. I was told to try that several times by Rashmi and so I did. However it did not happen and while she went to consult her seniors the call got disconnected
                                      4)Then I called back again and this time spoke to Jaswinder. This guy was not willing to help at all and clearly disconnected my call
                                      5) So I had to call again, this is for the fourth time in less than 10 hours on the same day..and this time I told the receiver that I would like to speak to the supervisor however she said she'll be in a position to help. The agent is Priya. She tried to help me by taking me to www.nokia.co.in site and showed me the procedures. Then I told her that the option to configure the email account on nokia messaging service was not prompted. She kept on putting me on hold to find a solution however nothing helped and after a long time she told me that a technical team will contact me within the next 7 days!!!!!! 7 days for an issue like this???? I told her again that I want to speak to a supervisor. However she said that supervisors are not available. Kindly note. No contact centre can have no supervisors even during high call volume hours..!! Clearly shows that nokia did not have an answer to this problem. After asking for an explanation

                                      why this problem arose she mentioned that the new version is faulty. This means that a faulty application was launched in the market without any UAT?????

                                      Finally after a lot of push, Priya mentioned that I will be contacted within the next 48 hours!!! I still do not have a solution..!!
                                      My Questions:
                                      - How can supervisors not be available?
                                      - How can an application be launched in the market without any testing / UAT??
                                      - What is the difference between a Rs 2000/- worth Nokia phone and a Nokia E71 if I cannot use the email services??
                                      - If you call E71 a business phone how can you give an SLA of 7 days for a call back and solution??? Are business people supposed to sit and wait for Nokia to get a little active???
                                      Honest Feedback:
                                      - I have been using Nokia for the last 15 years and this is the first time I am facing this issue. And this issue will remain in my mind to the extent that I will think twice before buying a Nokia phone the next time
                                      - Dont you think people like me would rather buy Blackberry than buying a business phone from Nokia if this is the kind of service provided??? Do note that each service provider in India has a separate Blackberry service desk to handle and resolve customer issues online. Nokia has a long way to go.
                                      This has been a disgusting experience and it is sad that Nokia inspite of having great ambasadors to promote the product can do nothing at all if this is the service provided!!!!

                                      This is BHARAT JAIN, I have purchased NOKIA E71, in the very first week of April'2010, after 2-3 days my faced hangin g problem with my hand set , for which I contacted to my nearest Nokia Service Centre at "VISION CARE" Howrah, they kept my hand set with them and after 2-3 days they gave me it back, it was functioning well but again after 2-3 days I face the same problem.

                                      I have mentioned the Job Sheet Nos. above for your kind perusal.

                                      The problem remains SAME even after 4 (four) times of services provided by your Customer Service Centre.

                                      It has been 3-months I have purchsed the above hand set, and its has been kept to your customer services centre for more than 2-months.

                                      My hand set is under Warranty period---- Now i would request kindly RE-PLACE my said hand set...
                                      as NOKIA is one of the reputed and Branded Company, in the world I hope you will grant my prayer and oblige , so that I can have faith in NOKIA in future also.

Sometimes Memory card doesn`t work.Camara Shows error andphone also hangs. Even i had visited 3-4 times at service center for the same.Since i had purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest.

                                      Nokia — bad product

                                      sir this complaint is regards to the nokia x2 i purchased in the month of october 2010
                                      the product was sold telling it has a very good sound quality which was my primary requirement the ph failed to deliver at that part as the sound was not of the highest quality that was the primary issue
                                      however when i tried to transfer data from my computer to the mobile the steel body was giving me electric shocks which as per my understanding should be mentioned in the box that data transfer from computer can be dangerous
                                      sir,i am a very faithful customer of nokia and would not like to charge them regarding their product however this is my last nokia product that i am purchasing

                                      Nokia — Nokia E71 is a worst product

                                      I brought Nokia E71 phone worth Rs 19,676 ruppees on May,2009.
                                      As it was the beginning of my professional career I had invested my one month's salary in purchasing the branded product.I did not even give a second thought that i should be buying any phone other than Nokia as it was the trusted one.

                                      In Jan 2011 the phone switched off. I went to Nokia service center to know the reason. The person concerned told me the PCB board is not functioning. The company would have done a replacement if it was under the guarantee period and since the guarantee period had expired, nothing could be done from Nokia company's perspective. The cost of buying a PCB would be Rs.12000 (the present cost of a new phone) and i was advised to buy a new phone.

                                      My question is are the Nokia company not concerned about the goodwill of its products in the market.
                                      Do you even expect me to buy a Nokia product again paying 20,000 rupees? I am seriously not lured by the new Nokia phones coming in the market.

                                      This incidence when I told my family and friends they too agreed on not buying any costly phones and instead of going by the brand go by the duration of the guarantee period a company gives.


                                      The phone that i had brought is in perfect condition and there was no mishandling from my side (neither fell off from my hand nor it was liquid damaged).

                                      The life of such a costly phone's motherboard is onle 1 year 10 months?

I got a Nokia E71 from a friend. 4/5 months before the mobile was fell down on water and I will take this to Nokia Care, Bargarh, but they have return this mobile and said that it can, t be repair. Now what should I do and where the Mobile could be repaired.
