This is in regards to car ad which was posted on olx by om cars. This om cars are car dealers who regularly post on your portal. Because olx was involved and we saw the car on olx so we bought the car. The car after being used for two weeks only have been found to have missing sensors from day one. When we went yo dealer he said i can't do anything. Why can't u block dealers from posting ads on your portal and avoid customer to be cheated. Remove there ads immediately and take action.

My olx account is banned for no reason after posting a few ads. I called olx customer care, they said they can't un ban, the reason they sai, i did not keep their rules, i ask advance payment to client thats y they baned, but truth is i did not ask any payment, i did not violate any rules, i need ma acccount back, that's why i register ma complaint here.
I hope fix the problem, i am waiting since so many days.

Actually i wanted to sell my nikon d5600 brand new camera, and i did chat with the buyer. His name is h singh, as he mentioned, but in phone conversation he told his name as harish singh, he we met at mandi house metro station, he just offered me the thing what he was eating, he checked the product and decided to purchase for 45000 as it is brand new. I got little bit of giddiness after eating the snacks he offers, suddenly he disappeared, he stolen my mobile phone, gold ring, please please please help e to find him out

I contact with an dealer through olx. He said to me that i have a iphone 6s 64gb and he send me all details of mobile billaccessories and every thing even he send me his aadhar card. Then he told me that please send me 50% money now and rest of money send me when you will recieve the mobile. At that time i told him no i can send you 30 % money of the deal now and rest of money when i recieve the phone. So i send him 4500 rs out of 14000 through paytm app. And he saying to me i have no mobile and i have spent your money so i have nothing. So i now i want please trace him and sue him in jail. I want to deletw my olx account permanently bcz someone logged in using my mobile number. That guy is posting fake ads.

I had posted an ad for selling my titan watch.. And got a msg asking for number to talk... After giving my number the prsn started msging me and asking photos and asked if he cud see the watch and buy it.. And asked me to come alone... I went wid my husband and called him after reaching the place.. And asked where am i... He saw me and my husband.. And called up and told his mom is ill and needs to go.. Please be aware of fraud buyers who just use olx to communicate wid girls...

I saw one ad posted for x-box1 ad. I discussed with the gentleman and finalized the deal in inr1499. I was in greater noida and the guy seems to be in delhi (Based on his location shown on olx).

He had to just share the code to activate the game. So it was just a question, who will share first (I should pay first or he should share the code first). I fell in trap and transferred the amount to his paytm account.

The moment i sent him the amount, he stopped responding.

I was interacting with him on whatsapp as well.

There is a "verified" label against the sellar on olx. What does that mean?

Hi team,

I enquired for purchasing a used iphone from olx. After some time, i got a message on my what's app from number [protected] and the person is referring to olx but he is not. He just told me to transfer 2500 in his account before order confirmation to buy the iphone. I knew olx policy and denied the person to transfer the money and asked that you are fake. Now he is giving reply in abusive words and is not picking my call.

It's a fake number who is making fraud on behalf of olx.

I request you to please take necessary action and making a fraud case on this number please asap.

A person posted a maruthi wagonr car with the name laxmi on olx yesterday 31 october 2017, and he gave the contact number as [protected]. When i contacted this person named he gave all the details about the car

Had he interduce himself as her husband, and he said they are leaving to us tomorrow. And i verified the details about the car which he is given. After that he asked me to transfer 3000 rupees to his mother paytm number [protected].
And i transferred the amount to this number and he confirmed the same over phone.

As per the discussion he asked me to come today morning 1st november 2017 to complete the remaining formalities. When i tried to contact him today morning and his number is getting switch off. And after i contacted the person whom i transferred the amount, she is is saying she doesn't have any relationship with that person.

Please help me to get this person and take money back.

So is there anyway to identify the real sellers.

I have posted an add on olx recently and i got a call from one of the user named ashok kumar mobile no.[protected] who showed interest in buying the item i posted. But he is abusing through call and very bad behaviour and threatened me also that i will burn your car and would see that u would not be able to come out from ur house. I request to bann these kind of persons and should take strict action against him. I also lodged a police complaint against him.

There was a person who posted ad on olx for iphone6 (Sell). He asked me to transfer rs. 2000 to his paytm number for courier from nagpur to mumbai. He sent me a receipt of overnite express courier limited and then asked for 2000inr.

Later came to know that this is a fraud ran by people. We are unable to track this consignment number [protected]

I purchased iphone 7 from olx. That person say me i mail you bill after sometime and i trust on him but after he selling his phone. He switched off his cell phone after that i go to service center to check the phone is original or not but after checking i got a result that mobile all the parts are totally duplicate and charger or earphones are also dublicate. I think he sell stolen mobile to me..
I am totally trapped in this fraud.
I am student my all the money is waste..

I found an ad for cat study material on olx and i contacted the person. The deal was for 2000rs, i told him i will send him 800rs and then remaining amount after i receive the books. He has been avoiding my calls since then. I understand 800rs is small. But the feeling of being cheated and knowing that you cannot do anything feels horrible. I hope olx intervenes, his name is sachin singh (Yash singh on olx), i have his bank account details and his number. Olx is a site of good utility, but if it does not intervene in fraud, there is little or no meaning in the service.

There is a fake account by the name of sunny kumar and he told me that he works in customs, he was in pune and he shifts to chennai now. He is selling macbook pro 13 for ₹14500. I contacted him and after so much negotiations (Because of trust issues) i told him that i can send u only ₹3000 for gaurantee and remaining amount i will send after checking laptop. After that i checked for serial no. On google of the laptop and i get to know that this is a scam. Here are his bank details

There was a man who offered me 60000inr for my camera which was listed as 51000 on olx.
He claimed to be from the usa and wanted to gift it to his friend in los alamos
He told me that his bank will contact me for bank to bank transaction for safety of both o[censored]s.
The bank was chase bank.
And the email id was [protected]@chasebanktransfers.com
It looked very genuine which it was not
And it asked me to send the scaned copy of the shipping receipt from the courier partner.
I did that, he told me that tell the value of the product as 10000 as it will be easier for them to clear the customs with less duty. I asked for his whats app and id proof which he sent me.
The courier said the batteries should be totally discharged to be shipped but they were full so i asked the man if it was okay if i ship it without the batteries
I was surprised how easily he agreed over it. So
I sent him and the bank everything and the bank replied me thay it will not tranfer the fund until they dont confirm it from dhl's website.
I was waiting for it to get active and receive my money
So while doing so i just casually googled the email address and i was really shocked to see pages and pages regarding the fraud of that bank on quikr and olx
They fool indians with fake bank desguise to which we have no way to contact!
I immediately cancelled the shipment and picked back my camera from dhl.

Well i bought exchanged some of of my xbox 360 games with a guy... N yes it was through courrier... Well i gave him...3 expensive games for his.. One game.. (Gta 5)... But wen i got it.. Not only the game din work... Wen i asked to return my games... He refused... Now he is not attending my calls... He had promised to pay me for my loss... But now ue is not even attending my calls... Cmmon olx... U cant just let people go around cheating... Using ur app.. And not do anything about it...

After seeing the advertisement for alloy wheels for car in olx, i have ordered the item on 9th of october by paying full amount of twelve thousand five hundred in advance as he had asked me to do as per his company policies. He told me that the product will be shipped on the same day of transaction and it will be delivered within 14th of october. He was in contact me till yesterday and now he has blocked my number.
I have not received the product yet and he has not shared me any details regarding the product shipping. Currently i am unable to contact him by any means.
My friends tried to contact him as new customers and the details he is providing each one of them were different and he is still hesitant to provide his personal details and keep on telling he is out of india and to reach out to his father for more details
He sent few receipts from shipments from today as proof but when we checked with the courier service from those receipts they told that their service is unavilable these days in occasion with the diwali celebrations
So it turned out that he has been faking those receipts and no such shipment was done
