There was a man who offered me 60000inr for my camera which was listed as 51000 on olx.
He claimed to be from the usa and wanted to gift it to his friend in los alamos
He told me that his bank will contact me for bank to bank transaction for safety of both o[censored]s.
The bank was chase bank.
And the email id was [protected]@chasebanktransfers.com
It looked very genuine which it was not
And it asked me to send the scaned copy of the shipping receipt from the courier partner.
I did that, he told me that tell the value of the product as 10000 as it will be easier for them to clear the customs with less duty. I asked for his whats app and id proof which he sent me.
The courier said the batteries should be totally discharged to be shipped but they were full so i asked the man if it was okay if i ship it without the batteries
I was surprised how easily he agreed over it. So
I sent him and the bank everything and the bank replied me thay it will not tranfer the fund until they dont confirm it from dhl's website.
I was waiting for it to get active and receive my money
So while doing so i just casually googled the email address and i was really shocked to see pages and pages regarding the fraud of that bank on quikr and olx
They fool indians with fake bank desguise to which we have no way to contact!
I immediately cancelled the shipment and picked back my camera from dhl.

Well i bought exchanged some of of my xbox 360 games with a guy... N yes it was through courrier... Well i gave him...3 expensive games for his.. One game.. (Gta 5)... But wen i got it.. Not only the game din work... Wen i asked to return my games... He refused... Now he is not attending my calls... He had promised to pay me for my loss... But now ue is not even attending my calls... Cmmon olx... U cant just let people go around cheating... Using ur app.. And not do anything about it...

After seeing the advertisement for alloy wheels for car in olx, i have ordered the item on 9th of october by paying full amount of twelve thousand five hundred in advance as he had asked me to do as per his company policies. He told me that the product will be shipped on the same day of transaction and it will be delivered within 14th of october. He was in contact me till yesterday and now he has blocked my number.
I have not received the product yet and he has not shared me any details regarding the product shipping. Currently i am unable to contact him by any means.
My friends tried to contact him as new customers and the details he is providing each one of them were different and he is still hesitant to provide his personal details and keep on telling he is out of india and to reach out to his father for more details
He sent few receipts from shipments from today as proof but when we checked with the courier service from those receipts they told that their service is unavilable these days in occasion with the diwali celebrations
So it turned out that he has been faking those receipts and no such shipment was done

I buyed a split a. C. Through the olx. He told me that it is a 2 yr old a. C. And also a 5 star a. C. But i saw that he attached a fake logo of 5 star a. C. I saw that it is 7 yr old a. C. And a 3 star a. C. He gave me a fake bill also. It is not working properly and it's remote is not working and also not whairlpool company.
After all above thing donig he doesn't pic up my call and not reply my messages.

Seller is a fraud. He charged me rs 4000 and then denied to deliver the product, when I asked him to return my money then he refund edited rs 3.please take some strict action against him as you verified him by call. Call him and asked to return the money and stop doing fraud

He offered me a macbook at 14000 as i was seeking for a good laptop i showed my interest after some time he asked me that of i'm okay with condition of laptop he can send that laptop me my door step by blue dart courier service. I agreed to send lappy by parcel service with insurance. After 16/10/17 next day he ask me for money as he already send me the receipt of courier service which is attached below. In the name of policy please do not charge people for ads they have not posted and do not want to post. They simply want the money back my their accounts or options to use the money they paid to olx. Olx is a thief not a business firm clearly. It is not me alone who has the same opinion but many customers have the same opinion. Olx they can play around and make money from customers. My amount may not be that large but it is a matter of principles and a breach of good faith. Olx is nothing but a firm of robbers!

On 16th october i saw an add on olx of iphone 6s 64gb, the seller posted an add of iphone 6s 64 gb for rs21000 and his location on olx was ghaziabad indirapuram. So i confirmed the deal in rs19000 first i doubted how anyone can sell iphone in a such a cheap amount but i thought that might be seller wants to buy a new phone so on 17th october i asked him for a meeting so i asked him to come near noida sec 62 as this was the nearest point for him n me too as i lives in noida sec 12, but he denied and said he has to go to office and he can meet in dasna. So i denied and he cancelled the deal but i was curious to buy the iphone so i called him back and went to dasna.
First he showed me the phone, it was in a good condition and then he came back while bringing a black bag where he kept the box of iphone.
So i took the phone and gave him rs 19000 but he denied and took the phone and sat on his bike apache rtr 200 in white colour he said that the deal was in 20500 so i said that i came so far and i will not go without the phone, so i handed over 1500 more and in that time he gave me a polythene in which he kept iphone in a cover and box and as he got the money he hand over me the polythene and gone with his bike and as i saw there was a flat pathar in a shape of iphone,
That guy looted me while posting an add on olx, i am a student i need my money back

I do have the imei no. Of his iphone and his no. Is switch off..

Peter seller is selling furniture and many more items but he give wrong information he is not lived in vasant kunj area even not near by. Second they not sell there used item i feel they sell there shop items through this way so many people feel inconvenience. There behaviour is very rude to us. Plz check it they upload there add with another fake name peter plz take some action towards these type of shopkeepers. Thanks sir

On friday[protected] we purchased mahendra scooter 2012 model u can see his ad, in that ad he mentioned clearly it is very good condition and no need to invest single rupee, he is located in peddapuram east godavari, and we are located in rajahmundry at evening we went to his place and he showed his scooty my dad went two rounds and we given 14000rs and taken coming to rajahmundry after 10 km the engine getting sound not working properly we immediately told him he told just stand problem sir, next day he went to mechanic he told we need to invest 3000rs, immediately we informed to seller we need to invest 3000rs. Seller told i dont take scooter and i will give u 1000rs repairs, he dpoisted 1000rs but still we lossed 2000rs,

I am requesting take action on them and one more request nowwards who are posting ads ask them adhhar card and pan card links, take some securtiy actions

They are telling it is our won bike or scooter but they are running automobile consultancy without any registration

Sir, I purchased a phone from this person ( Vvii) from OlX on 30 Sep’ 2017 and I had also done my payment through paytm and account as well. At first he showed me the overnite express courier receipt of my package but that too was fake and also told me the package is stuck at Patna and is returning back and so on. So he always make an excuse because of some problems that he couldn’t sent my phone and it’s been 14 days. He is from Jaipur and also he has some money to be refunded to me . Humans have only one feeling towards the animals just selling and earn money no one else. So, please aap iss pets ki category ko abhi olx ki selling categories se nikal de. Please take it seriously.

I have posted an ad on olx to sell my laptop on olx i have recieved a message and email from a nigerian person name is robert wallace he asked my whatsapp number to ask the price as personally in that whatsapp chat he asked my bank details and i shared. He is cheating i thought i was cheated by that person he is giving warning and forcing me to send the product through fedex or dtdc courier services and i thought it is fake so my please take an immediate action on these issues

I have seen the add in olx on 07.10.2017, add posted by in the name of rahul agarval (Email id: rahul. [protected]@gmail.com - iphone 5s -64 gb used for rs. 7000/-. When i contacted him he has agreed once i receive the payment will courier the phone. The pod which he was given is wrong. Money transferred to his account. But phone was not received. Not even he is not responding for my w app message. I have proof of evidence of his bank account details, email, w app phone number and address. With this i am going to register cheating case to proceed further.

Cheating by mahendr singh by showing certificate of registration & aadhaar card copy of chetan mahidhar.
Initially he put an add in olx of yamaha rd [ mp207c6140] rd colour asked price is 1, 30, 000, after negotiation he is ready to sell 1, 00, 000. Then he ask for 50% in advance, on base of the document we deposit 50, 000/-, next day itself he send noc copy & transporters copy. While checking transporters copy royal transport is mentioned, excatly the transporter name is royal packers & transport, so i call that transporter. Then only i know that fraud happend.
