With due respect i want to tell you that as this year i appeared for cbse 2018-19, class 12.
As now i have completed my 12 class i desired for a smartphone from my father for my future competitive studies and my father was ready for it. I browsed my smartphones online but i wished only for a low cost but efficient smartphone. So i went on olx and searched for vivo v11pro.
There i met a person named vikas patel who was selling the phone in a very good condition at rs. 8000 so i agreed to it.
I contacted him on whatsapp where he sent me photos of the phone as attached below along with his photos to show that he is in indian army and i was sure that an army person could never lie.
Then he asked me to wait for the next day and the courier will be handed to me by the courier boy next morning.
I was very excited that morning but then a call came at 9:00am that sir your order has reached kangra and it will be delivered to you only when you pay the security charge of rs. 3150 which is been laid by the owner on the product and same was said by the owner to me on phone and said that the remaining amount of rs. 4850 is to be paid on delivery.
I agreed to it and paid 3150 on his following details —

Then he again called me and asked me to pay the remaining amount of rs. 4850 and the courier will be handed over to me within 5minutes. I did as he asked me to do so.
I made him first payment on paytm through upi access and then through someone's paytm
Then he asked me to deposit rs. 5100 as security charge and said its just for confirmation and it will be given back to you within a minutes into the same account from which the amount has been transferred. Then i took a loan of firstly rs. 5100 from my landlord and deposited the money as he said me to do. After the payment he again asked me to do the payment of rs.5100 as payment was shown to him as pending.
I again took rs. 5100from my landlord and paid the money. Then he again asked me to do the payment but i realised that he was fooling me so i refused him and cried that i dont need your phone and i want all my money back. He agreed for it and asked my account number along with ifsc code. After crying in front of him for continuous 2hours he agreed for the payment but he hacked my account and withdrew rs. 10000more from my account. As i came to know about it i went to my nearest bank and blocked my account. I continuously called him, begged him to return my money but asked me to deposit 4100 more to his account only then he would transfer the money. But i refused to do so because i had zero balance in my bank account.
Sir/madam its my humble request to you to look into this matter and provide a strict action against this. Now being a student i have a loan of rs. 20000 on my shoulders of which my parents are unknown. I dont even want to tell them because my father is an economics lecturer and he goes to his service 130km apart from our residence daily. Also my mother is a teacher in shimla. So here iam only under the supervision of my father who is already suppressed under severe tensions of my carrier.
Consider me as your own son please provide me a solution to it.

This man advertised to sell his motor bike. Against his ad for bajaj pulsar rs 200, i contacted him on the phone. He posed as an army personnel and requested me to pay 2100/-by paytm firstly because he required money for billing of which the bike i preferred to buy and the rest of money he said after the delivery. He has taken entire price of rs40000/- but he is not supplying me with the item he had advertised in olx.in.
I helped him as a mark of respect for the indian army cisf personnel

I recently posted an ad on OLX regarding a lehenga costing 13, 500rs. I got a request from US guy named Nicholas thomas working at some army apparently not later i got to know. After several exchanges of messages through whatsapp i shipped my dress paying 5000 from my pocket for shipping chargers on 23/04/2019 and he was saying once my bank will release the funds only after checking your shipment ID and i got confirmations too but today morning the bank sent due to insufficient balance in his account you should deposit 30, 000rs and we will deduct later, Once we felt something fishy and started asking they in turn sent please send 11, 000 this is final warning else it will go to FBI.

Seriously? which bank does all this, the bank doesn't know he has no balance ? or they are a group of fraudsters??i sold for my college fees kindly please help me, now i dont have single paise. My wedding dress and my money is also gone. The bank name is Pacific marine credit union.
Please kindly do something to get my shipping money back and item if possible, please please do something, its really disheartening when those fraudsters scold us back and dont respond to anything but just sit there and laugh at Indians, they are just fooling us .

This person fraud his name mohan ji hi asked i am army person this show his all fake id and say pay paytm n Google pay 11450 delivery charge in overnight express courier comppny his say this is army courier you pay 11450 after send me ss after his say speak to my courier officer his say sir pay fast 18999 gprs tracking charge after you give your parsal

In olx i saw an offer for iphone se in 7500 i bargained and managed for 4000. He said to send token amount of 500 we paid him through online banking. Then he asked for half the amount of 1500, instead we paid 2000. Then he said to talk to military courier department head and the man said to deposit 7000 as a security deposit as the seller aka srikanth who claimed to be a military man has hold the parcel and this amount would be 100% refundable. After this transaction the courier man again asked for 5150 as the parcel was stuck for more than 72 hours so this would be charged and refunded and i told srikanth to arrange money as we ran out of it, but still we were able to arrange 3000 and he said to pay the rest. After this the military courier service man asked to deposit more 5100 as he claimed that there have been 2 different transactions so the computer didn't accept and create otp. After this heavy transactions, he said that more of 2777 was required to verify the otp. This led us to doubt, as the otp which was send in my phone was olx login otp which is an alternative to the password. Then we searched in the google about the military courier service and saw the cases of fraud shared by people in online platform and i saw the same aadhar card and story of srikanth. Irrespective of the fact, i transferred him the asked amount, 2777 because they told that the phone will be delivered tomorrow i. E 26 april 2019 as we thought that if they switched off their phone
And the police would not be able to trace him and we have proof of transaction and call. We also have his aadhar card and ptm bank details.

The total amount he fraud of is 21, 927 is 8 different transactions. If you could help me, i would be very grateful towards you as the man has not only fooled me but many in the name of "military man's words and honesty"

On olx some infinity advertisement are done under various categories. It is hard to find fraud among the various categories. But when it is repeatedly fraud been happening using the name of indian army why olx can't trace or take an strict initiate to stop such type of fraud persons so that like i get confirmation and confidence to olx as a better platforms to sell and buy.
For the security otp but do olx have a check on the identity of the seller or buyer. Is olx only to buy and sell not to do good to the buyer or seller form the fraud culprits.

Usne kha ki aap 2000 ki payment abhi kar do or jb parcel aapke pass pahuch jayega to postman ko 2500 ki payment kar dena. Humne socha ki indian army ki post service achii hogi.
Agle din postman ka call aata hai or vo kehta hai ki vo delhi cantt post office se bol rha hai. Postman ka naam praveen kumar hai. Usne kha ki rule change ho gaye hai ab apko full payment karni hogi manjeet ko, vo waha se mail bhejega or hum delivery kar denge 24 hour me.
Hamne vo bhi kar diya. Parcel na aane par humne postman ko call kibusni call nahi uthaya. Fir agle din vo kehta hai ki apka parcel hold me chala gya hai or apko insurance karna hoga iska rs 5999 ka. Humne rs 11999 jama karwa diya manjeet ke account me. Fir humne postman ko call kari usne kha apko aur rs 10500 dene honge. Par abhi tak parcel deliver nahi hua hai. Sari information me niche de rha hu.

I have seen one advt. About scooty in olx and I try to buy that.. Later when I asked for the details the person who wants to buy his scooty gives his contact no. Later he cheated me by asking deposit some amount to his account so that he could deliver me.. I credit his account with rs.3250.he send his details like army cantten card and aadhaar card and claim himself he is from Indian Army.. He also send me his photos with army dresse.. There are two persons who have cheated me

The buyer and me finalised the deal for rs 21000. He was saying himself army man (Sanjay singh from Utterakhand).and his contact no is [protected]. Just after the initial telephonic conversation he sent all the documents which i have attached here to me. I was surprised after being getting updated by him minute by minute for even a minute move. But even after all these tactics or strategies i didnt smell a rat and transferred him 100+4900+5000=10, 000rs in paytm account no. [protected]
In short, i dont know how i was targetted, today as committed by him, i was waiting for the delivery. Delivery boy nameis TEJ Pratap and his contact no. [protected]. But they put condition (i transfer remaining rs 11, 000 ) and after payment he is saying insurence issue u paid(11, 150+11, 000 and 150, security charges). but not delivered scooty. and not refund amount. plz resolve it..

I have seen an advertisement on olx (www.olx.in) fortvs ntorq 2018 model (, 35000\- bike number mh03dd6577) posted by rahul/sahil kumar also manpreet sing on date 09-april-2019 (I have attached the ad screenshot). I have reached olx and taken his contact number from chat. After this i have a phone call conversation between me and sahil who deal with me.

Then he said he work for army and posted in mumbai international airport. Then he sent me an army transport receipt of bike transfer and charges. Next day he agreed me to do online transaction hrough payatm & google pay he told by clearing the bill amount from the cargo office that is the formality the amount was 35000/- in 1st half 5020 second 11500/- n this how i paid him 31520 he told pay the whole amount then only i will able to come to handover the scooty. At the end of story/conversation he has taken around 31520 rupees through paytm also via google pay from me on 09-april -2019 and never delivered the bike. I am in process related with this with police also. That fraud person is still talking on phone with me whenever i call him he told app ka paisa refund ho jaye ga bt hind do it yet that person is still online on whats app and talking.#mumbai police

Iam also cheated by this ravish kumar/patel/singh who claims to be an indian army officer from delhi. He has an advertisemnt on olx for the google pixel 2 xl for 13000 bucks to which i replied for more details. He messaged me on whatsapp about the same. At first he seemed like a legitimate seller, that's why i called him as i was very much intrested. He said he could arrange a courier from delhi to mumbai but i have to pay for that. He asked me for 650 bucks as "delivery fee" which i was skeptical about for being this expensive to which he threw some # about this differing from the normal indian speed post as it was military post and was much faster. I very foolishly agreed to all that and paid him through google pay. Minutes later he sent me pictures of the delivery receipt and the packaging photo (Given below). On the receipt the sender's address was of nashik and the other photo of the package was photoshopped. I realized the text "indian army by post" was editted on the photo. I called him immediately and asked about the same to which he blabbered something and hung up. I asked him to return my money back, but he didn't ofcourse. I know it is not that big of an amount but many people unfortunately didn't realize the fraud this early, which i could have been a victim of. So guys do not trust anyone on an online basis, do all the payment related stuff face to face. And someone do something about these guys that are duping others and committing even more heinous crime of involving indian army's name in this.

'prathap singh' who is a big fake guy telling in the name of indian army. So he will courier his vehicle, for that initial do 2k as courier charge after that again asking 10k for gp service.
I just questioned why all these before seeing the vehicle. Letter come to know hez doing cheating activities. Even phone number are switched off.

Sahil is the army candidate from jabalpur whose advt on olx of camera750d whose price is 2000rs in olx and i deal with 18000rs.the sahil is firstly said me to send 2000rs for parcel arrived by paytm [protected] i pay money after next day the courier boy call me and said to pay 15000rs for security fund and said "if you not pay this u didn't get parcel" then i pay money.i asked him resone he said " it is only security fund which is refund when you get parcel And mode of refund in cash" then i pay money 15200rs.after some time courier boy called me and he said " you should pay first .then i asked him to refund first 15200 he said"no it will not refund if you pay 30000+400then we give you cash of amount 60400 directly after parcel you get".i called sahil kumar he said "it is process of army courier company. I know it is fraud then me and my friends go to courier center and told him all story courier manager said " in our company this policy is not available and said it is a fraud. If we asked him where is your location he said "it is our policy we didn't show or say our location to customer ".Then we goes to police station and said her all story police station police said they didn't catch him.

I was planning to buy a phone under 15, 000 from OLX. I saw an ad of one plus 6 in 14, 000. I took the contact no. from the seller and called him to decide the meeting place.
He showed his and the courier boy's Id's and said that the product will reach me in 50 min. since he lives in army camp so meeting is not possible. Now he showed the bill and all where army logo was posted. the certified army bill and different things, I thought I was correct.

He asked me to pay 610 initially for the courier. and when I denied he said let's pay half half together. I did it.

After some time the courier boy called me to ensure that he is coming and told his location. when I asked "bhai kitna time lagega" he told me, it will take 50 min.
Now he called me again and said, army head office se message aaya hai apko 4, 125 pay karna padega. then I can move ahead.
I called the seller to confirm. and he convinced so badly. I did the first payment.
Similarly I did two other payments of 5, 147 and 5, 520. I was exhausted mentally. I consulted wih friends also, but all fault was mine. I was stucked in the trap.
And now for the security reasons and by his promises o[censored]niform to return the money, they convinced me to pay 7, 000 + 7, 000.
I took money from friends too. since I wanted to get my money back. he was saying that if You won't clear this message your money will be pending in the army account.
In this way I paid 29, 202. and again he deemanded 5, 000 but now I don't have bro. It was the biigest foolish in the world.

I had posted an ad on olx on 7th april, 2019 about selling my google home speaker. The ad id is [protected]. I found a buyer named gunjan kumar from new delhi and he was interested in purchasing the speaker. We finalized the amount as 5500. Following are his contact details:

He told me to deliver the courier and as soon as the courier is dispatched, he will give me the amount. I sent the courier on 12th april, 2019 via dtdc. After sending the courier, i am regularly pinging him and talking to him on phone for cash, but he always tell that he will send in some time, but he doesn't send. Everday, i call him more than 20 times and he doesnt pick up the phone. I am pasting my whatsapp conversations with him as proof. Till now, he has only given me 1000 rupees out of 5500. Remaining 4500, he has not given and he is evertime delaying it. I am attaching all possible proofs i can. Also he has received the product and still he is not doing the payment. Please help me in getting my payment and also punish him so that he doesnt do the same thing to other people. Also, please take help of delhi police and punish that guy. I have provided his address.
