I 'rohanth reddy p' (Phn.[protected]) a resident of l. B nagar, hyderabad had sold my car bearing registration number ts07fp4105 (Ford figo) to a car dealer named 'olx cash my car' malakpet on 24th january 2019. The respective representatives (Mr. Om prakash /phone. [protected], mr. Raj kumar / phone. [protected]) of the firm had assured me a hassle free ownership transfer as early as possible and in respect with that they also held an amount of rs.10000/- (Ten thousand rupees) and promised me to pay me back the amount as soon as the transfer takes place. But, now even after a period of 3 months the ownership transfer of the vehicle has not took place nor the money they withheld was not returned even after repeated queries and followup. As, of now they are not even answering in a respectable manner nor helping me out resolve the issue which they promised to do so earlier.
Sir, kindly look into the issue and do the needful so as to solve my concern and help people from such fradulent agents.

One person named himself as ravi kumar, sai himself as a man of army spoken to me to sell his friend's alto car. The ad id :[protected]. He asked me to deposit transfer charge rs5500 to a paytm no [protected] on 10th apr 2019.in between he asked to transfer for humanity purpose a sum of rs 15199 to enable their gps service.

Now he is not picking the phone. His number is [protected].

He had started with different names in olx.

A man named srikant with the dilevery boy cheated on me. As they have taken the total amount of rs. 37.000 and on the next day they again demand me for rs. 10, 000 as they have said to me that the parsel has stopeed some where. As they have cheated on me on date_ 12 april 2019. I kindly request the olx company to plzzz refund my money back to me as i have arranged this huge amount by facing various problems. Tahir samad shaikh ([protected]) on olx, imayou supply who is selling kurti & dresses i order one gown @ 900rs and i transfer the amount to account[protected] he said that he will deliverer same day before 4days and now he is not receiving call i am calling him continuously & he is not responding any call or msg from 4 days after transfer money wht should i do???

Yesterday i saw an mobile add on olx with the id of vikas patel of rs. 9000/- and i talked with him and he says me to provide an amount of rs 1000 for courier perpose and when the courier boh out of delivery he told me to provide the rest amount of 8000 so that the pending amount can be done and the courier boy can deliver my product. I do the same but when i pay all amount he tells me to provide 7000 more i refuse to give that so he refused to come on my location (Everything is done on calls).
I have everything's about him. Plz help me sir to provide my amount and please catch him. Asap.

I saw an ad on olx and thought of buying Activa. A person who told his name as Vikas Patel (Phone - [protected]) told him as an Indian army officer and sent me his CSD canteen identity card, and his other proofs and pics. Considering the authenticity I believe on him. He said that he want to sale his activa 2017 model due to his transfer and told me he got a transfer letter and tomorrow he will transfer from ATARI border (Amritsar) to Jammu Kashmir. He told me that he will send the activa by indian army courier service he sent me the courier receipt.
Then I prepared my mind to purchase the active and I told to my husband to contact him for purchase when he called him to finalize the deal that person asked him for advance and said that he has a limited time because today night he is going to jammu Kashmir by train. After that he text me and call me to finalize the deal and told me to pay half of the money to him. But I denied to pay the advance payment and I told him that my husband will come to you within 2 hours and show him the condition of Activa so that the deal will be done and we will give you the complete payment, but denied to meet him and asked me his train timing is 6ó clock then I told him before 4ó clock my husband will be there to meet you nut every time he denied to meet him. After that we have a doubt on him because he changed the travel timing thrice with in 1 hour. And we drop the idea to purchase the active from him and same my money by good luck.
Note:- That person VIKAS PATEL is available on some many no. I had two of them one is [protected] and another one is [protected]. If we search him from his name on google definitely we see that he is a fraud. I advise all of you to please don’t share your proof with these kind of persons and don’t pay any advance.

On 26/3/19 i have seen an advertisement with regard to selling of 2nd handle honda activa vehicle with reg no ap 31cs 3115 in online portal olx.in. The details of the post are as mentioned below :-

As above 1730hrs on 26/3/2019 i call to the owner of the advertiser to his mobile number[protected] for deal. He told that his name alok punaj rai, working as cisf in airport visakhapatnam the deal was set for 17000/- and told me meet at viman nagar bus stop at 2000hrs on 26/3/19. He also towards advance payment for deal. Accordingly. I have transferred 1020/- through google pay to his account at mobile number [protected]. He requested me to send screen shot and my aadhar card details to whats app [protected]. I went to viman nagar bus stop at 1945hrs and made a call to alok punaj rai at nearly 1950hrs he told to me transfer an amount of 12000 rupees from google pay. Immediately told to meet me first for which he replied that iam on duty now i unable to meet me now, and i will send other person phone number [protected] and he will monitor you. And will give honda activa with all papers with in 10minutes. And he requested to accordingly i transfered 12000 rupees as 2nd transaction. Due to net work issues this frequent failure transactions, i have crossed my daily transaction limit 47020/-. And again he advised me send debit card photos front and back side i attached in his whatsapp [protected] and he asked otp to me i sented otp his what's app and he was done transaction nearly 28950/-. He told to me don't worry i will give the scooty to your aadhar address whatever you paid the axcess amount with in a 10 minutes and he requested to me go to your home i will send the x person with honda activa and axcess amount. What ever i transctioned same time i went to my home rajeev nagar and i waited for his call [protected] and no person came to my home and his phone was also switched off and again i went to airport at 1130 pm on 26/3/19 and i requested airport cisf staff to meet alok punaj rai the staff told no person on this name and he told he was a fraud person. So many cases came like this & air port was staff advised to me better to go police station for complaint..
In view of the above, i with folded hands request you to look into the matter and do the need for to get my money back which is to be used for my medical treatment.

I dont know why olx banned my account please unban my account and give me one more chance now i know about olx's terms and conditions. I mistakely gave my phone no in description i promise it will never happen again and yeah i deal with a customer he taught me he was an army officer and he ask for my mobile no and i gave my no but i dont share my otp just bcz that time i come to realize that it must be an fake olx user but the day after that...

I wanted to buy an iphone 6s. I saw the add on olx with a very reasonable price. He said he is in army and will send the phone via army courier within that day. For that i have to pay 1100rs. I sent. When the courier boy arrived he said i have to pay the whole amount of rs 12000. I paid. Then he said i have to pay a security deposit of rs 5100. I paid. He said all these is rule of indian army canteen. Now he is not returning my money and also i haven’t received any phone. I am still in contact with the fake seller.

Myself is suaib aalm from delhi, i found one person mr. Vijay pal on olx, in website who is doing fraud to selling car. He said that he is from indian army he has indian army card & car rc.

He said to me car is still at igi airport cargo, if you want to buy so transfer 2150 rs. For gate fee then you can see car and buy when i transfer this amount after this he said you have to pay 9999 rs. Gps charge so i deny to money and inform you.

He is saying if you u want refund amount of 2150 rs. So give me your login & password of your paytm account.

I am sending details of this guy which is i received, please attached file.

Now he is continue calling me yet for my paytm login & password by this he use saved card detail, i dont know why are you not taking action on it. This shameful to us. He should be arrested & punished.

Yesterday 3 april 2019 This guy Sahil Kumar phn no ([protected]) posted an ad on OLX regarding swift vdi (DL 3C CK 7518) of 2 lakh and 15 thousand he showed me pictures of car and RC and told me that he is in indian army having posting at jaisalmer and car is there only. And assured me that he will parcel the car through container at even showed me receipt of INDIAN ARMY TRANSPORT PARCEL DEPARTMENT.
Today 4 april 2019 I got the call from post department that you have to pay the 50% amount worth 1 lakh because the car is having GPS system tracker in it and its not opening as soon it will open we will deliver the car to your address By trusting on indian army I did the payment then again he asked me to pay full amount. This time I got it but its very late now
Please help me in getting my money back. please

I bought a wasing machine on olx. It stopped working the 2nd day itself. It has been 3 months since i bought this machine. The seller has not refunded my money or replaced my product. He is just avoiding my calls. He has done this to many other customers. Whenever we get through to him he is very rude. He wants us to pay him extra money and then he will give a new machine. I checked this company on google. There are several people who complained against it. Please help me get my money back and stop these people from cheating other customers

My name is kailash chand. I saw a bolero slx 2015 model on olx. Name on olx jai kisan. I like this bolero and thought that buy. That man tell me that he is service in indian army in gwalier airport. He said me that final price 285000. He said me his i'd proofs aadhar card, canteen card corrier slip, and picture of the bolero. He tall me you send 7100 rupees for corrier charge. I send 7100 rupees. After he send corrier slip. After one hour he call me that you send g. P. S charge 15999 rupees. I sent 15999 rupees. After a day 03 april 2019 (Today) corrier boy call me for sent 25000 g. S. T otherwise parcel is cancelled. But i not send extra money.
I am a student. Total money 24099 rupees. Please help me for return my money

On 28 March I have got an Advertisement for Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 bike having number AS 01D Q2512. And I have contacted the owner of the bike Mr Sahil Kumar who represent himself as an CRPF jawan. Then first ask for 2100 for transfer certificate accordingly 7220, 7100, 120, 11000. And he said he will send the bike to my nearest post office. But after paying the money of 27500 he is not picking my call and not responding at all. Now I want my money back . Please help me. I am shocked how this kind of Fraud people is giving advertisement in OLX and taking huge amount of money from customer. And OLX have not taken any action against this kind of Fraud people. I saw canon eos 750d for 15000rupees in olx and chat with vikaas patel. He said to pay 4000 first. I paid. Later he asked to pay 8000 rupees to delivery. He said special army courier parcel will come. And no tracking. Finally i pay d 15000. And again he asked 5100rupees to security charges. That too i paid. He said to pay another 5100.. I posted some ads related to Computer Parts on OLX. In fact to make it more detailed and to share the complete and correct picture of the used item, I added some specific technical snapshots of the hardware details from certain software applications. e.g. HWMonitor that shows that if you say you are selling Intel I3, you indeed have an Intel I3.

Further to let prospective buyers get more technical information about the part, I also mentioned some third party vendor specific website URL e.g. if I am selling MSI AB350 Board, then I pointed to the specific MSI website.

The intention was to provide as many honest details as possible to enable buyers make and informed decision and exhibit maximum transparency in the ad.

Yet the automated parsing of the ad done by OLX resulted into my ad being banned from posting. When I asked by calling customer care, I was told that the pictures were not correct and there were URLs in the details.

I think OLX needs to mature and understand that when an ad is blocked proper manual moderation should be done by humans and they should listen to the sellers point of view before blocking them.They should provide proper explanation rather than just saying 'Your ad was rejected due to inappropriate content'

I found and ad on olx of activa 125 and text that person pankaj arun more regarding the deal he replied his mobile no. And then we done our deal at 20k but he told that his scuty is at nasik and he is an army officer so he wants 3k to transfer scuty from nasik to pune and I asked for the proof so he sended his army canteen card and he asked for my proof and i sended my adhaar card then after i paid 3k from google pay the name was sanjay singh there i doubted but bcz of he tagged himself as army officer i continued and he sended the army transport parcel department's receipt of the same. Today morning he called me and asked for the remaining 17k and said that the scuty had arrived at your place but it is against the policy of army that they won't allow to give parcel as soon as the payment is done fully and they won't give any NOC.There he got caught and i asked for his army officer id card then he disconnected my call and not receiving my phone yet.
Please look after my complaint as soon as possible as this will be harmful for others also.

I ordered a second hand tvs scooty on olx. The seller communicated with me and we fixed the deal in rs20k. He assured me the courrier documents when i sent him rs6k. Later next day his delivery boy called me and asked me to pay full amount of 20k in order to deliver me the scooty. I did as he told me. After full payment he again asked me to pay about rs9k, which he called some kind of signature security money and there i doubted him and asked to at least show me the scooty, but he denied.
