I have contacted this guy for Unlock iCloud account on my Iphone.
His Mobile Number is :[protected] ( truecaller shows Manoj is his name).He asked for Rs 1000 as service change for him.I have transferred Rs 400 and Rs 600 to his paytm account ( [protected] - Raj Samrat). He didnt unlock iCloud account as he promised and His number is switched off then on.

He is big fraud. Pls don't believe anyone on olx for Unlock Icloud service by online,

Recently while going through OLX, I came across a person who had posted an ONEPLUS 6 ad for 20, 000. when i contacted him on OLX,
he gave me his whatsapp number and asked me to message or call him. After contacting him i was told that his name was Vikas Patel and he was an army officer who was posted at Rajiv Gandhi Airport. we decided to seal the deal at 17, 000. he asked me to pay 10, 000 in advance and the remaining 7, 000 after the parcel was received and verified by me. he sent me his ID proofs and bank details on whatsapp and i thought he was a genuine army officer and so i decided to proceed further with the deal. Around 1 PM i called him and he gave me his bank details to which i transferred 10, 000rs. as it was decided. later at 4pm he called me back and told me that the courier was sent and now i had to pay the remaining 7, 000rs. i was reluctant to pay at first because we had a deal that remaining amount would be paid once the parcel was received. but he told that he required to show the transaction statement to his office and hence we agreed to pay him. After sometime i received a call from some delivery company and i was told that the delivery guy was at juinagar and he had not received the transaction statement and so he could not deliver the parcel until 9000rs more was paid in the name of the delivery company as they needed to show the statement of transaction and that this amount would be returned back to me when he delivers the phone. so i paid him 9000rs. after around 20 mins i called the delivery guy again to know when would i receive the parcel. he told me that he was at Andheri and that i had to pay him 9000 more as there was some mistake in the last transaction, he promised me that this total amount of 18000 would be returned back to me. Again after 30 mins i called the delivery guy and then he told me that i had to pay 18000 more because this transaction was not correct. at this point i got suspicious. so i called Vikas Patel and told him everything and he tried to justify the situation saying that it was necessary to show certain transactions at the Indian Army Courier Services. after some time i was receiving continuous calls from the delivery guy and Vikas Patel asking me to pay 18000 immediately so as to complete the deal. i was very suspicous by then so i started searching about olx indian army frauds and yes there it was, many complaints against the fraudster Vikas Patel, and i realised i was being fooled to pay 35000. while going through all the complaints against Vikas Patel i observed that OLX had promised to take down Vikas Patel's OLX account but they failed to do so. i wonder how many innocent people he has fooled including me.i had given him my Aadhar card's picture and also the otp as and when he asked for verification. also he had my debitcard number and pin code. i had transferred money using paytm bank.i hope immediate action is taken against this, also i owe an explaination from olx about why the account was not taken down. i am attaching his ID proofs and the screenshots of various
complaints against him.

I have posted an ad on 25-jul-18 for selling my laptop at selling price at inr 1, 60, 000. Ad id is [protected]. I had marked the ad in sold category long time back.
Today (29-jul-18), i got a call from person named abhishek inquiring me that someone named vivek (Mobile number : [protected]) had contacted him and made a deal to sell my laptop in inr 50, 000 only. He (Vivek) asked him to deposit inr 25, 000 in his account and promised him to deliver laptop within 2 days.
I don't know the person named vivek and he has not contacted me ever for laptop deal. Vivek is misusing my ad & laptop bill and selling my laptop to a third person without my knowledge.
I understand olx is a secure platform to sell used items. This is a serious offence to misuse someone's ad & posted pics & documents to cheat peoples. Olx should take a strict action against this person and immediately deactivate his ad registered with mobile number [protected].

I've seen one post that iPhone X and contact a person, he said, his from army and shared army Identy card and adhar details and said transfer money through Paytm 10, 000 and balance money transfer after delivery of phone as it's very urgent him while his friend are admit in hospital.
Please help for refund my money back

I suggest you to make olx paid service with minimum charges. Because there are a lot o[censored]nwanted users & ad are available on olx, i also become victim of rs. 42000/- fraud with me on olx.
Olx must be aadhar/kyc verified.
For example, if anybody want to by iphone x, there are alot of fraud users available, that need to be remove.
Plz do something for your betterment as well as the users.

One of my uncle got cheated on olx
On olx there is lots of deals for one pluse six (1+6) and the guy with the name of manjeet will try to trap you

So guys don't get trap. He is a fraud.
He told me that he posted in near tanot mata mandir, rajasthan and he will take 5 days to completw this deal. But i was excited so i told him parcel the box then he was saying me for trust "i'll share my id cards" so i got trust on him that yes he can be. So i done the deal with him and half payment before the deal and other half payment after receiving the phone will be done. I said "ok".
Now somethings were knocking in my mind and i was quite wondered that "there is something wrong" next morning i called him and he told that he's got the box and he gave me his paytm number for payment.
But i want to pay by bank transfer but he denied.

These are some things that i felt unsuspicious and i was trying to search "hawaldar manjeet singh" on social media nothing found.
I am share some pictures of payment and some screenshots of chats please take a look and be aware.

Someone is using id's on the name of hawaldar manjeet singh and fraud with the innocent people.
I am safe because some awareness but no one have idea about it!
Please do some thing and stop it!

Took Oneplus 6 mobile in the month of July and sold it on August through OLX, someone named Balaji agreed to pay 32k(Advertised rate was 33k), he sent one of his friend named â€œSathishâ€ to collect the mobile as he was far, I asked him to do IMPS, but he sent NEFT transaction SMS instead with all ID proofs, NEFT looked genuine and he also claimed to TL working in some MNC and was speaking fluent English and also delivery guy confirmed he is the one in ID proofs which made me believe him.

I gave mobile on 21st Aug at 10pm, NEFT takes 2 hours, but unfortunately next day was EID, and sat and sun were bank holidays, so had to wait till Monday, but there was no transaction till now, he says today he will pay, but he doesnâ€™t, he seem to operate both from Tirupathi and Bangalore.

He claimed we worked for JJ Bytes Pvt Ltd, but that company claims he was fired a year back and I was 4th person enquiring about him, previous calls were for mobiles and laptops cheating cases, and one call from Bangalore city police called them to enquire on him.

So he is a habitual offender who needs public attention, I lodged complaint near nearest police station, but they are going in snails pace and no update till now on his location, I believe there are other complaints in other police station too, also found similar case with same name below.

Just today he seems he spoke truth like he sold mobile to some mobile shop and he appears he cheat on OLX and sells it to some mobile shop.

Updated by C!ph Hi Consumer complaints team, I see you deleted all ID proof of fraudsters, please don't delete it, he needs publicity as this case is different, till now I received 2 mails about that Fraudster, he speaks English with tamil accent and never meets anyone directly and tells he will send his friend.

He pings the seller that he is buying mobile, and he also pings buyer that he wants to buy mobile and tells both that he send his friend to make deal, once buyer reach the spot, he finds Bala friend/seller and you assume that seller is Bala friend and u make payment, pretty smart!(Thats the case with one of the screenshot)

I am also one of the victim. I sold an Samsung S9 256GB to him few months back. He did an NEFT on Friday and claimed that i will br receiving in 2 hrs and this continued for 10 days. I've been enquiring him since then even visited his address mentioned in the Aadhar Card and got to know he stays in Banglore.

On 14th Dec 2020 i have posted an ad on olx lg g8x for 25k and made contacted by a fraudster named Balaji bala we made a deal for 24k and on 15th he said he is coming to collect the mobile on 16th afternoon and i said ok.On 16th morning around 11'o clock he called and said i am unable to come so he is sending his friend to collect mobile and going to pay the money he talkes genuinely so i said yes and after 10 min he messaged me to send mobile photos and invoice .
After sending them he asked me to go certain area after going there he informed me that the place is happi mobile store .
Here is the trick he pulled off he said they are his friends who work in happi mobile store he said just checkin the store and they will inspect the mobile and he will transfer the money through phonepe then i said ok.
For happi store guys he made them believe that i am his relative and i am just there to deliver the mobile .
After checking the mobile they sent him 10000 on google pay here i asked balaji fraud guy why they are sending 10k.He said they borrowed money from him before if they send that money i will send u the 24000 to you as soon as i realise something is fishy the happi store guys sent him 10k and then he blocked my number and all he wont pickup anyones call and always saying busy .
Later he messaged me that he will send the 10k in 1 hour and then after 3 hours and on and on .I am so mad about myself for getting into this situation .

There was a guy named tej kumar wanting to sell his oneplus 6 and he said that he is from army and will send the phone via courier. For that you will need to pay the half money through paytm and you can pay the rest after getting the courier. After paying him half amount he sent me the photo of the courier receipt and now he has deleted his whatsapp account and his phone is switched off too. Please take this complaint seriously as many people are trapped into it and they can't do anything about it.

Our deal was done in 17500, he send me his id prof and documents of indian army named tameer tej kumar and also paytm number [protected] registered as army post line on paytm.

After this he said me to deposit 25% advance money as per indian army post line rule. I have deposit 4, 375 rs/- in [protected] (Army post line) at 9.28am dated 21. Sep 2018.

After some time he call me and said that you have to pay 30% more for the mobile safety.in case there is any damage we will provide you a new handset. He also connected me to his senior. I also talk to him he also said that u have to pay its our rule. Then i tried to pay 5250/- but the transaction got failed. Then he gave me an another number [protected] (Named as shrikant on paytm). I paid 5250/- at 10.17am on same day.

Again somebody (A courier boy) around 6 pm called me and said me to deposit rest 45% of 17500/- for security reason and if i will not pay parcel go for hold. Again i paid 7875/-by paytm on [protected] named shrikant at 6.15pm.
I again received a call to deposit 8000rs/- he said there is some problem in his server, you have to deposit this amount for delivery and this is refundable. I again deposit 8000rs on [protected] by patym at 6.45pm 21.09.2018.
After 10 to 15 mins he again call me you have to pay more 5100rs for gst charges then your phone will be proceed to delivery. I was very upset i again send 5100/- trough patym at 7.18pm on [protected].
He called again and said you were wrongly deposit 5100/- you have to deposit 5000/- and 100/- separately. 5000 for gst and 100 for delivery charges. Which will refund you during delivery. I again pay 5000rs and 100rs in same number at 8.10.20pm and 8.10.46pm. And he said phone will be delivered to your place at tomorrow morning.

Next day again he called me i m calling from airport you have to deposit 11000/- more for 10 minutes for some reason will refund it in a hour.

He is again active on olx with other id named as amit kumar. Ad id [protected]. Then i said kindly refund me all my payment back. After 2 days he blocked me.

Total amount i paid is 35700/.

I have all documents send by him and profs.
Hence i would request you to give your serious attention on this serious issue and take immediate action on the fraudsters involved in this malicious crime of cheating innocent people. Please

A us customer named frederick warnaar has sent fraud messages and sent fraud transaction mails from banks like wells fargo. Have confirmed with the bank that the mail was fraud and even his so told policies of the bank. He said the bank will release funds only after i mail them back with the couriered shipment details. Not at all happy with olx to allow such frauds. Reg my sony ps3 sale ad.

A part that this is illegal service that only apple can eventually provide, and should be not hosted by olx, the scammer ask you to pre-pay half of the random amount he require for service and then start the procedure, thing that, of course, will never happen.

Before 2days i see a add of iphone 7 in olx i call him a man ansewerd call and say that he is from army and said to courier phone and ask me to send 50% payment of 22k.
I said that o will give cod but he send his id addhaar card, pen card,
Army card and his photos and i paytm him 8500 rupess from paytm to his paytm number [protected] and called me from this number â€[protected]â€¬ and send fake courier details and then call me to send full payment and i refused to send full paymet he start not to anwer my calls and said that i get my money after 7 months by army courier services other wise i need to send full money
