Hi my name is rishabh mudgal my contact no [protected] i m from the noida its case very serious and some one cheat with me and took my all the money, i m not aware how u r running olx without any security features.
Actually the guy did sell his mobile in olx site at 22000 and after we deal then the guy told me i m working in cisf rajisthan, jaisalmer army and u want to buy mobile so first u need to pay some money to us then after our parcel will qualified to sell from the headquarter then i trust that guy bcz he told me thay working in inadian army that s why i send some money after that the agian cheat with me they told m plz send all money & finally v deposited 16000 in his account & his pay tm account number is[protected] kindly do needful at the earliest possible & back my money.

For my ad in olx (Nikon d7000 +lens+flash) a person (Tonya reesh) replied and asked to contact them by email. Once contacted they said they have made the transfer from the bank and only approved on receiving the shipment. Sent spam emails in the bank name and then constantly bothering me with emails. Attaching screenshots of the same. Please take the necessary action.

Kept an ad regarding to sell iphone locked carrier and as my inbox was coming up messages reading one by one. One user with service centre as his profile name and olx member since november 2018 kept the message briefing that he can do unlock for that mobile and gave his whatsapp number +[protected] name is santosh and he works in apple care centre and said that he is an online world wide unlocked and having many contacts in every state. He had sent me the screenshots of the money paid by online and it is purely genuine. He asked to pay 7000₹/- for the unlock if it doesn’t work he will return the full money. I paid him the amount and he gave me reply after sometime stating that the mobile is clear to unlock but there is a situation after unlocking it may be again locked after 1 or 2 or in few days.
So instead to avoid that he offered me a brand new phone unlocked with 2 years warranty in exchange my phone by asking 5000₹/- extra so that he can delivered the new phone on the same day. Again i transferred the 5k and after sometime he called me and said a new buyer is also looking for the new phone and he is going to keep 2 new phones online order so that his contacts in my place would deliver by that night and later he said he was not having enough funds for both of them 9500₹/- less he said
So i transferred by asking my friends two of them and sent to him twice 5k and 4500.
Later by that night he again ping me and asking for 1000₹/- as he should pay to the delivery office dtdc so that delivery guy would delivered to you and i had sent him 1000₹. After 10 minutes he said that he didn’t received 1k and asking for another 1k as he said that bank online system was slow. I didn’t paid to him. The courier boy didn’t courier any parcel to me as he said to them cancel the order i requested him to send me the tracking order so that i can find and see or else i can pay him 1k at my home. Till now i had paid him 22500₹/- and i didn’t received and any courier and i asked him to return my money he said ok send me the bank details i had sent him till now no money was deposited he said that wait for two days i’ll transfer to you money.
Now he blocked my contact in whatsapp

Why you promote fake and duplicate ads... One want a one plus mobile so i searched for one in your site from my location tvm there comes so many fake ads ane duplicate one and they are not in my state too... They are frauds and you guys are encouraging them please check those fake ads and remove it immediately. Else im gonna register a complaint againt olx thank you

I was looking for a gaming console play station 4 pro on olx one week ago. I saw an ad saying playstation pro 1 tb available for 20000. I contacted the seller. His name is given rahul bundela. He told me i will deliver the product through international logistics within 2 days. But he said i have to pay an advance of rs 5000 and the account number and details he shared with me was not even his. It was the account of james lalremruata acc no [protected] state bank of india, branch khatla, khatla kawn, aizawl, distt. Aizawl. Mizoram-796001. And then pay the rest on delivery and the deal was agreed. Then he even shared me his mobile number, aadhar card and pan card details.
I paid him he advance of 5000 and he told me the product is dispatched. He even shared the tracking number of the product on logistic named http://www.tednetlogs.com/index.php. i was waiting for the product and he even called me. He was sounding like some non-indian person. Then after some time he said i have to pay 10000 extra for some custom charges. I paid him 10000 then the product reached india and he again asked me to pay custom charges of 5000 which i paid and again i kept telling him i want my product then only i will pay the rest amount. But he convinced me at his best and asked me to pay 5000 more and i paid him all the 20000. With all this conversation the tracking details were also updating. So it seemed real. After an hour he asked me to pay amother 5000 for clearance charges. Thats where i lost it. And i asked him complete refund. And he was and is still convincing me that the product will be delivered if i pay another 5000 but wont get my money as refund. I dont know what to do now. This was so stupid of me that i fell prey to such scam. Please help me recover this money from this fraud and charge him for such fraudulant business.

An indian army officer named as vikas patel was selling oppo find x in 17000 on olx website. I contacted him to purchase that phone he told me that he will send the phone by indian army courier service he sent me the courier reciept and told me to pay half of the money to his paytm no i sent 2500 rs to him i have all the chats and screenshots as the proof and next day courier boy called me and told me to pay rest of the money but i denied and then they both are not receiving the call and blocked me.

Ive been through a fraud of 13500rs
A person name vilram wagmare took 13500 from my paytm saying that he hs iphone 6 with warranty sending hi votin card and indian army card please take this complaint very seriously and tell me how will i get my money back its a humble request to everyone not to get in this fraud don’t waste your money on this fraudsters i want you all to tell me quick how will i get my money back otherwise a strickt action will be taken

Kindly note that on 14.11.2018 was searching for a cell phone in olx website, i got a contact of jaikishan he told he's an army soldier, he told his posting in jaslmar, rajestan and he will be sent cell phone through courier, he sent his canteen id card pan card and aadhar card, on 15.11.2018 mr jaikeshan, asked me 1050 rupees for postal charged which is paid by partum [protected] with txn id :- [protected]. After sum time he sent me indian army postal currier receipt.
Same day in the evening i got a phone [protected] as a postman from army postal service and said that he will came to me within 30 minute and i have to pay rest amount with the same way. Then i called to mr jaikeshan to share the conversation but he said that this parcel is one day delivery so please pay rest 6000 by partum, then i made a payment through paytum txn id;[protected],
Now i had payed full amount which was i had to pay for phon. After payment again i got a call from the same courier person for another demanded for 7550 for as courier security deposit and its refundable by cash at the time delivery,
Because it was wrong i request him that please comes to me i will pay this amount in front. Now he threat me that he shut (Kill me) me if i deny to pay that amount. After this i got a call from jaikeshan for security (Which was never discussed) amount but he threat me that he will pick me up if i will not pay that amount because he have my office id card and address he use abusing language and cut the phone. After some time tried to call jaikishan but his cellophane was also not reachable, then i came to know that i was cheated, i have his identification cards

On 12th nov 2018 at 07:28 am, i saw an add on olx for samsung galaxy note 9 for rs 19999 with username: "baba", i clicked on the add and initiated a chat then sent him a text that i am interested in the deal, then i asked for the contact number. Within 15 min i got a contact number "[protected]" and i called on the same number, the person whom i talked said his name "sanjay singh and he is in indian army, ludhiana cantt, punjab. I asked him to give the note 8 for rs 15000, the person agreed and said that in next 15 minutes he will reach to indian army post office and then he will call me. I received the call after 15 minutes with the same person, he asked me to send the address with the contact number, i sent him right away on whatsapp. Then he said i am about to parsal your order and you need to pay 25% of the amount now via paytm, then he asked he to talk to the post office staff and handover the phone to him. The person confirmed about the order and the price and asked me to pay 25% amount now via paytm and he handover the phone to sanjay singh. I asked him to pay 25% of rs 15000 which is 3750, but the person asked me to pay rs 4000 to the paytm number"[protected]", i did that then the person sent me the fake receipt and said i'll receive an order within 4 hours. Then at 09:12 am i received call from sanjay singh, he said i need to pay 50% amount to initiate a request for the order shipping and he asked me to pay rs 3500 more. I paid the same amount via paytm to the sane number"[protected]"and sent him the screenshot on whatsapp. At 12:45 pm i received call from delivery boy from number:"[protected]"he said his name is sahil kadil. He said he is at dhaula kuan and he will reach at my place within 1 hour and he asked me to pay the rest amount which was rs 7500 to release the order, then i called sanjay singh and informed him about the same, he said please do not worry pay the amount to the same paytm number and send me the screenshot for the transaction i paid rs 7500 to the same paytm number"[protected]"and sent the screenshot of that transaction to sanjay singh via whatsapp. Then again i received call from the delivery boy, he said i need to pay rs 6150 for the insurance and rs 1500 for the delivery charge, so total rs 7650 and the amount will be refunded to me at the time of delivery. I paid the amount via paytm to the same number"[protected]"and sent the screenshot of the transaction to sanjay singh via whatsapp. Then again i received call from the delivery boy, he said that i paid the rs 7650 together so the system require two transaction to release the order so i need to pay rs 6150 and rs 1500 separately and that amount will also be refundable at the time of delivery. Then i asked the delivery boy to hold and i called sanjay singh and put him on conference, the delivery boy said same thing to him. Then sanjay singh asked me to pay rs 6150 and rs 1500 separately, i refused to pay the amount, then he said i can borrow that amount from someone for a while as the whole amount will be refunded at the time of delivery. Again i refused to pay the amount and told him that now i am loosing my trust. Then he said i am an army person and he share his army canteen smard card and aadhar card on whatsapp and again asked me to pay the amount. I paid rs 6150 and rs 1500 separately via paytm to the same number"[protected]" and share the transaction to him on his whatsapp. Then again i received call from the delivery boy, he said the delivery time for the order has expired and now it is overtime and asked me to pay rs 5100, he said that amount will also be refundable at the time of delivery. I refused to pay the amount and put sanjay singh on conference call and informed him the same. He said i can pay rs 5100 without any fear as the amount will be refundable within hour at the time of delivery. I strictly refused to pay the amount and asked sanjay singh to return my complete amount that i paid earlier. The total amount was rs 31300. Sanjay singh and the delivery boy was trying to convince me but i refused their proposal and asked me for my refund. Then sanjay singh told me that he will return rs 31300 to me on tomorrow (Nov 13 2018) at 09:00-10:00 am. I called him on nov 13 2018 at 10:15 am, he said his friend has met with an accident so he is going to the hospital and he will call me after 1-2 hours. I didn't received call from him then at 02:00 pm i called him, he said he will call me and return my money at 05:00 pm-06:00 pm. Then he called me at 06:15 pm and said the money has not been arranged so i will return your amount once the order will return to indian army post office. I asked him for the date, he said he will definitely return the amount on nov 15 2018 at 12:00 pm.
I have also attached the screenshots of each and every transactions along with the persons aadhar card, canteen smart card, pan card, device pics with bills and fake parsal receipt.

This is my humble request to the olx team to please look into it and help me to recover my money.

The below mentioned fraud happened with me as well. Exact same thing, same address, same name etc. My product is though apple watch. How can I now trust anyone for selling my product?

(There was a man who offered me 22000 for my camera which was listed as 25000 on olx.
He claimed to be from the usa and wanted to gift it to his son in india andhra pradesh

The bank was chase bank.

It looked very genuine which it was not
And it asked me to send the scanned copy of the shipping receipt from the courier partner.
I did that, he told me that tell the value of the product as 10000 as it will be easier for them to clear the customs with less duty. I asked for his whats app and id proof which he sent me.
The courier said the batteries should be totally discharged to be shipped but they were full so i asked the man if it was okay if i ship it without the batteries
I was surprised how easily he agreed over it. So
I sent him and the bank everything and the bank replied me thay it will not transfer the fund until they don't confirm it from dhl's website.
I was waiting for it to get active and receive my money
So while doing so i just casually googled the email address and i was really shocked to see pages and pages regarding the fraud of that bank on quikr and olx
They fool indians with fake bank disguise to which we have no way to contact!
I immediately cancelled the shipment and picked back my camera from dtdc.

I saw an add on olx for iphone x worth 53466. I offered him 42000 for the phone after some discussion we finalised the deal on 45000. He said he is a military man and posted in rewari. He mentioned that he needs the money urgently as his friend is hospitalized. He asked me to transfer 10000 for now and rest after the delivery. I transferred the amount via paytm and received a massage from a number about cisf courier service line. I was just finding it on google and got to know about this scam. He also sent me the video of a courier man paking the iphone. Can someone please help me on this. I paid the amount on humanity grounds un aware of the fact that it is a scam and i saw the posts that this man has been running this scam from years butt no one has taken any action yet. Please see attached the pictures and video.

I want to convey message among public that on 8th november, 2018 i saw an ad. Of iphone se, uploaded by anil mehta, indian army as he told to me, ready to sell 19, 000/- phone, 10 month old in 3000/-.
He said-indian army courier service is 24*7 hr. So, u deposit said amount in my a/c. & till 10pm, you will get it.

She told my son to give her second hand laptop. Paid the amount through paytm via upi of sbi on 05.11.18. But didnt get the product. She is not attending the phone after paying the amount. Please make an arrangement to refund the amount of rs-5000/ from dr indu jain to my account. I think she is not a good user in olx. A lot of time called her. Not attending. I request your help and i am aregular user of olx.

I just saw this ad on olx of bullet bike and price was Rs.80, 000 . So firstly I chatted with that person and asked for the number, the person sent his contact number and then whatsapped all his army pics and documents like aadhar card and canteen card which are fake.
I showed my interest in buying and then that guy asked for the courier charges which was Rs.2000 and asked for the payment through Paytm and so I did and then asked for another that is Rs.16, 000.

Next day also they did the same thing..kept on asking money and I gave them through Paytm cause I trusted them as I knew they were in army, they cannot lie, we can trust them. But they asked for the overpayment and regretfully and unfortunately I ended up paying them Rs.93, 000. The same day, at night I went through Google and searched for the old fraud thing and these guys name popped up. I never felt that it could be a fraud because the guy said " Mein apni wardhi ki kasam kha kr kehta hu apko parcel mil jayega" and I am the victim of this fraud people.

Please be aware of this fraud people. They will only ask the payment through Paytm and if you don't pay they will threaten you by saying sorry the parcel then cannot be delivered because of which I ended up paying such a huge amount. The next day in the morning I myself called them and told them their reality and they went saying"Jo kr sakte ho kar Lena, Paisa wapas nai milega."

I know that my money can never come back to me.India hai yeh. Justice for the innocent is very rare. But at least I can aware people out there.

There is a fraut ad placed in olx who is asking to make payment first for iphone se for just 6000.

I spoke to person at [protected] who says he is in jaipur and will self ship the product once money is transferred to his account. I request you to check and take action immediately.

I have been cheated by a person who is saying that he is from indian army. He posted add on olx as indian army and he says he is working in rajsthan capital airport as army man. He said car is in rajasthan you can check car otherwise i will send car to your place by 1 day by paying of 5000rs. So i paid an amount of 5000rs by bank transfer. He had sended the bank details to my whats app. The army man name is mohammed shaker. My origin place is nirmal district telangana state. The car as to travel near 1300kms from rajsthan to nirmal district. Mohammed shaker sended the driver number to contact him for further usage. On the next i called him asked till where did you reached he said vechicle had got trouble of eletrical issues so it needs to repair by electrian. The electrian asked the charges of 6000rs. So i have bank tranfered an amount of 6000rs. And again he asked to pay 7000rs for battery replacement because he said battery is dead so it need to replace to start vechile. So i haven bank trasfered an amount of 7000rs to him. After an 2 hours of time is not going to lift the call.

Myself Sudipto I am abroad now and asked my friend (Rakesh Patil) to sell the bike as not using it in Bangalore. So my friend advt in seller section and one guy named over call as Manjeet showed interested. He asked for bike paper and my friend send him the RC, tax and insurance paper over WhatsApp and after that he didn't acted and received the call. After few days back he stared posted my bike pics on olx and even after reporting the advt the person is creating an account and posting the pic of my Bajaj avenger 220streer green with KA51 registration. One person Nagaraj shown interest to the fake advt with same image my friend shared. Nagaraj then find me through RTO app and Facebook and checked the authenticity of the advt and I got message from the buyer nagaraj that are you selling you bike I am shocked to see this again. My friend already rasied complain (no. TS 19887)for such type of advt.
I want solution for this. Please look into the matter and please blocks those add which is having images of the complain raised. As the fake guy have 4-5 images of the bike that my friend shared.
