A guy named Vikram Balu waghmare is a fraud. He will sweet talk you into couriering the cell phone to you instead of meeting up directly and also demands photos of your id proofs stating that he is in army and needs it as it is high security in the base camp he is in. First he took a delivery charge for the courier and then the rest of the money. I am afraid that he would use my id to impersonate himself and con someone else I would warn people to stay away from such offers on olx unless the party is agreeing to meet don't transfer any amount. His latest number is
[protected] and also another number which he used for the delivery guy
[protected]. The delivery guy asked me to share the address and location saying he could not find the address and then told me that until half payment is not done he won't come to deliver and then Balu waghmare called and said to make the rest of the payment. And then the courier guy said that he has left and will make payment in the morning. This is really bad and old should take strict action against such profiles.

Olx have banned my account for selling silver arowana fish which according to them is a banned species but its not the banned fish it is easily available in every pet shops. And if its banned they should have given me valid reason after declining my ads with a warning i would have not posted the same.

I have marked them several emails and also explain them the same but they are not ready to reactivate my account.

Have posted just 2 to 3 ads in a span of 3 years and i see my account is banned !! shifted to car trade for my car ads. I buy and sell cars every 3 years and OLX has not stated a reason why they banned my account. Their Customer service is between 10 and 7pm!!! who provides this kind of service !! we reach home after 7 and try calling you (Customer support timings are ridiculous) !!

I had seen ad in olx for iPhone 6 32gb mobile
He demanded me 12 thousand
And he told me pay half of the amount means 6000 than I'll send your mobile than you pay remaining half at the time of delivery
So i have sent money half through paytm 6000
After that one person called and told like this your parcel has been came please pay the balance amount 6000
Than I'll give you the phone..
After that I called the seller and talked with him.and he said pls do a paytm of 6000 than he will give you the than I did paytm of 6000. After that delivery boy he his saying
You have to pay 4000 as insurance and GST and Security deposit of 4000 you will get back 3000 than I agreed with that and I did Paytm of 4000 .. than after that he is asking send me 1500 its my extra overnight charges...than I also agreed and I did paytm of 1500.
After all he is asking till 2000 so I got dought so..I did Paytm of 17500.for the mobile till I'm not getting either phone or Money ...

For rs 12000 to 17500 they are cheating, insulting army respect if any terrorist offer them 5 lacks 10 lacks then they are ready to any thing...
So I lost 17500 rupees
i want my money back
So pls help me with this sir

I have become a victim of a fraud and digital Payment boost in New Delhi by some Army personnel (as they said) at New Delhi Airport. Being aware of the fraud which I am hearing day in and day out – still, I got trapped and lost Rs. 16000 to fraud doing people in the name of Indian Army.

The incident is on 16th July 2018, I was searching for a used mobile on OLX and came across many sellers whom I sent my offering. I got a reply from some of them and the most luring reply was from two – Dodhiya Dharmik and Vikram Waghmare. I think both of them are from the same nexus. Vikram Waghmare immediately replied with his mobile number ([protected] – Vikram Waghmare). I spoke to him and he shared more details and picture of the mobile through WhatsApp. Vikram Waghmare was always talking about Army personnel and he told he was posted at New Delhi Airport. He asked me to come to New Delhi Airport to see the mobile as he was the duty and cannot come to my place. Talking to an Indian Army personnel itself gave me a trust and the respect for Army person was already there.

I reached Airport at 8:20 and called Vikram Waghmare. He told that he cannot come out of the Airport and hence sending the mobile through Overnight courier service which they use. He then asked me to send my identity proof and a picture – I sent my PAN and a picture of mine. He also shared his Army canteen Identity card as a proof (attached). Then he asked me to transfer the money to PAYTM – Diwan Singh ([protected] – Munim Ji) and once money is received the mobile will be delivered in 5 minutes time. I was amazed and told this was not discussed when we spoke. Vikram Waghmare then handed the call to courier person who as per Vikram Waghmare was also from Army and was handling the courier services. I rejected the offer but both of them started talking that I don’t believe Indian Army. I was taken for a ride and thought for a moment that Indian Army personnel cannot cheat and transferred money in their Paytm wallet in three transactions of four thousand, ten thousand and two thousand.

They confirmed that they have received fourteen thousand but said still two thousand is under pending status and once the money is in overnight courier wallet then only they can release the parcel. It was almost 10 pm and I started getting the feeling that I had become a victim of fraud. None the less I spoke to both of them and provoked them to say that I am being fooled by them but they said you don’t believe Indian Army men. And continued telling me to transfer two thousand more to complete the transaction.

At last, I was 100% sure that I had been fooled and I left the Airport saying that if you are Army men then return the money back to my Paytm account or else enjoy with my money.

Started researching and found a lot of such ads with a very low price for high-end mobile. Due to army background, I and maybe others are getting trapped easily. Few names involved - vikram Waghmare, Dodhiya Dharmik, Diwan Singh (Munim JI).

Recently i have purchased water tank from Jambu guna [protected] @ mylapore chennai. i found water tank is broken in bottom side. yesterday only i starting for use and found immediately, also i tried to contact number not reachable, contacted his son number refuse to speak. pls. take action on that matter very urgently. It's really annoying when trying to sell on olx.
The buyers ask for phone number to discuss further details and later they don't message or call. This has happened repeatedly many times with different buyers. It seems like they just want to get your phone number.
So the next time I continued to chat on old about the product and only gave my phone number before meeting at a public place for selling the product.
He stopped replying to the messages on old as soon as he got my number and didn't come to the designated place.
Or else some customers continue to show interest in buying the product and then they don't come at the designated place and make a thousand excuses which results in wasting my time in waiting for them to arrive.
It's such a headache and on top of that the buyers bargain and ask for a ridiculously less price. One customer was bargaining for a very less amount and after refusing to sell, he was sending me messages my number and asking me what I was doing and if I had had my dinner, seriously?
After so many days and talking with so many people, I wasn't able to sell a single product.

when searching for DSLR camera i come across one ad for Nikon D5200 by the name of sourav Roy from karimganj Assam. he agreed to sell it for 13000 rupees. we agreed to meet after 2 days. the next day he call me to inform that he cannot come since his father is in Hospital he ask me to send advance 7000 and he will send the item by post. he provide me his bank account number [protected] along with ifcs code SBIN0000109 and pan card No-CTNPR4462H seeing no suspicion since he gave me his Pan card i transfer the said amount into his account. after 1 hour he call again to ask for the remaining amount saying his father will be getting operation and he need urgent money. this begin to raise an eye brow, i ask him to do video call but he refuse. i ask him to send the camera through post office or any other courier service but he insist on receiving the remaining amount first.
Now he refuse to take my call his phone number his phone number is [protected], if he do receive my call(which is rare) he will talk like as if he didn`t know what i was talking about.

He asked me 500 for delivery charges then agin asked for 500 and again for 1500 and he is asking for more now and sent me the fake id's and is using some name of vikram waghmare . And he is not sending anything and is still talking to me . and continiously asking me for more money . evrytime he comes up with a new story and ask for money please help get my 2500 back .

And asked to pay 5000 advance and 5000 rs after delivery. I paid 5000 rs In paytm account phone number [protected]. And he sent me the photo of the parcel which he was sending to me. Next morning I got a call from this guy that you need to pay 5000 more to receive your parcel which has arrived in Kolkata. I refused to pay the money and had a fight with the person on phone. Now he told me he is not jaikishan he is Amit and he gives me another number now [protected]. He is a liar and a fraud, a fake seller who cheats customers for money.

Please help throughout sir/ madam I’m bearing a monitory loss of 5000 rs.

It might be a huge scam they may be from a group of frauds...
Therefore, sir/madam please take a legal action against him and take this matter seriously.

I am wondering why my account with email id [protected]@gmail.com has been banned. Why they advertise so heavily if they do not want people to sell on their site. I was about to post some of my house hold stuff but i am unable to do so. Your Bech De' slogan is not useful if you block email id o[censored]ser without giving any information. . I saw a ad on olx then i contact him he said he is from indian army and i finalised the deal over call after he told me that he will courier mobile phone and i have to pay half money before sending and half money .he provided me his Indian army canteen card as proof that he is not a fraud person .after that he sended me reciept of courier and next morning after the product reached i done the payment through paytm and after this when i paid whole payment then he started demanding for 4050 rupees as a security charges of a courier i told that i will not pay a single pie . I asked him to tell me their office location so that i can visit but they refuses . Then with the help of google i found the courier company contact no. And they told me that it is fraud many people are getting exploited daily through them and they said our company have no concern with them.
Kindly please provide me justice .
