I saw a ad on olx then i contact him he said he is from indian army and i finalised the deal over call after he told me that he will courier mobile phone and i have to pay half money before sending and half money .he provided me his Indian army canteen card as proof that he is not a fraud person .after that he sended me reciept of courier and next morning after the product reached i done the payment through paytm and after this when i paid whole payment then he started demanding for 4050 rupees as a security charges of a courier i told that i will not pay a single pie . I asked him to tell me their office location so that i can visit but they refuses . Then with the help of google i found the courier company contact no. And they told me that it is fraud many people are getting exploited daily through them and they said our company have no concern with them.
Kindly please provide me justice .

I sanket patil registering complain of fraud, cheating and mobile theft which took place on 28 june 2018 through olx medium. Were i sold my smasung s8 plus to a buyer on olx from delhi and he turned out to be a fraud and didnt pay me money. The mobile was worth of 64000. I want olx to compensate my loss as soon as possible as the buyer got connected to me through olx.

Transfer karaya pytm ma and phr 8000 . And i was calling ye phn. Hi ni udhata or jaikishn na apna phn. Band kr kr dia sir i m a student meri ma ne kesa kesa mera lia paisa joda the phn. Ka liya m garib family se hun. Mujhse mra sara paisa le lia m apni ma ko mhu dikhana lyk ni rha he is a fraud or ye indain army ka namm khrab kr rha h.. mar do iss sala ko.. olx pllz mera paisa dilwa do...

I am a resident of barrackpore north 24 parganas. In olx a person name Tej Kumar introduced himself as an Indian Army posted in satraganchi and promised me to send mobile worth ₹7000 through Indian Army Field post office, i also agreed to pay ₹3500 through paytm. He also provided me with his army id proof. I didnt get any parcel nor could contact him further. This is a nasty business being conducted in the name of Indian Army. I dont want others to get cheated, so kindly took this matter with iron hand.

I would like to inform you that a certain person is contacting random sellers on OLX and giving them my name and number to contact me. Since yesterday (6th July) I have been harassed by innumerable calls from different sellers who say that I gave them my contact because I want to buy the product that they are selling..two people who contacted me sent me screenshots of their chat with the person.. I am attaching the pics so that you can see it..kindly look into the matter at the earliest.. Thank you

I was searching for iPhones on old and I got a reasonable deal on it. I chatted with him and he shared his whatsapp number and he told me that he is from haryana he mentioned his name as Praveen and he told me that he is from army so and I believed him. Then further we decided to pay half of the money in advance after receiving the receipt which was of overnite express ltd and the half after delivery.I paid him 7500/- through paytm the guy never came and his phone number is still working and still these frauds are going on. Olx will block this seller and they will sell from another id. It takes a 10yr illiterate child to create an Id on olx. I just need my transaction rollback and olx to increase it's security.

I wish to complain regarding a seller, on OLX his ID is MD and on shop101.com he is FashionRefuel2017. His real name is Mohammed Naviwala and his phone number is [protected]. He is from Surat, Gujrat. His addres is A505, Shilparaj Apartment, Adajan Pathiya, Rander Road, , Near Masjid Rehan, Surat - 395005.

He is a liar and a fraud, a fake seller who cheats customers for money.

I had a terrible experience with him while selling an item (Xbox One for Rs 10000) on OLX. He told me that he is a verified online seller and told me to check his instagram profile ID - the_hangar08 and the 'shop101.com' portal. He took my item promising me to pay within a day but its been around 10 days he has not paid up. He has cheated Rs 10000 from me and not returning my calls now. I have been harassed a lot and in a lot of stress due to this. Please help.

I guy named VIKRAM VAGHMARE posted a ad on olx for selling i phone 6S for 15000 and i contacted him on whats app his number is [protected]. He sent me all the documents including Aadhar Card canteen ID bill of iphone and accessories. I told me to come on igi airport and he works at the airport. I went there and he told me to PAYTM half the money to make a pass for iPhone. This ### blowed my mind and i observed a sense of scam. He told me i don't know anything about airport rules and regulations so i said i am a police officer and i know what are you trying to do and loot peoples hard earned money. Since then the number is switched off. OXL must clean their platform from such scammers. All these scammers say they belong to indian army and they will take money through PAYTM. Don't trust these guys they will never respond once you send them money.

Hi, I wanted to buy an iPhone. Came across many attractive offers on OLX, but since the prices were too good to be true I was suspicious on the authenticity of the iPhone.
So I texted this guy named Yash on olx. His price for iPhone 7 was 27500.
He shared his contact no. I asked for his address, he never shared any and always said we're shifting so no point coming there. He asked me to come near model town to close the deal.
I was oka with it since I stayed nearby.
But I asked him to meet near Apple store so that I'll get the phone checked and then pay. He denied again, which made it quite clear that its a scam.

On 2nd July, 2018 I saw an add on Olx.in. This add was of an iPhone 7. The seller fixed a price of 26500. I was interested in the offer so I contacted him on 2nd July, 2018.I sent him a message on Olx that my budget was 16000. He then sent me his mobile no. and told me to contact. I called him on 3rd July, 2018.He introduced himself as an army man in CISF regiment. For proof he even send me his aadhar card, CISF identity card on WhatsApp. He told me that he is currently in Rajasthan, Jodhpur so he sent me the images of the phone on WhatsApp. The phone was in good condition so I gave him my offer which was 17500. He willingly agreed to it. But I still wanted to see the phone physically, so he told me that he will courier it today and the phone will reach u tomorrow but at the same time he told me to give him an advance payment of Rs 5000. I told him that currently I can give u only 2000 and the rest payment will be done after I inspect the phone myself. He agreed to it. The next day he called and told me to do the rest of the payment as the delivery is on its way but I was firm and told him that the rest payment will be done only when I see the phone. He kept on telling me to do the rest payment and then I realised that this man is fraud and there is not going to be a delivery or so. So I finally told him to give my 2000 rupees back through Paytm, i.e the same way I sent him the money, as I did not want his phone now. He totally refused and said that he will not return the money because he has invested his money on delivery. I was totally helpless. In this way the CISF man named SRIKANTH cheated me. Necessary actions must be taken against this man.

So he said i m in army so i cant come
So i will courier the phone give me half money before courier and half after delivery
So I semd him 8500 in advance
Then he said that firt pay full paymnt and then i will give you fon
But he didnt.

Fraud seller on olx AVTAR SING seems to be in indian army posted ad on olx for iphone 6 128 gb for 20, 000 when i had send message stating whether mobile is available he replied stating contact on what's up number +[protected] and that ads seems to be posted in location Kochi, Cochin University. He had send photos of is army id, mobile photo and selfie taken by him in army dress. When i asked him where we can meet he inform me that now i have been shifted to Chennai Airport and if agreed for 17000.

I agreed but when i asked bank details informed that i can't share my account details as my salary is credit by central government.
However I had sent payment through paytm on number[protected] of Rs 15, 000 in advance and in the morning one man called called from +[protected] and told me that you need to pay the balance 2, 000 . I have paid the balance amount.

Again got the call from[protected] and told me that pay 5150 for the service charge that will be refunded after delivery. I paid the same through PayTM

But after that All the numbers are switched off. Please take necessary action from your end.

Dear sir,

Here with i am sending above link which customer is using our sales invoice on olx and making fraud with the customer, he is taking courier charge or half payment advance and not giving delivery to the customer. You are requested to block this user. Also you are requested to let us know that how to find out that user, if any details. Kindly support to us on this case so customer not loose their money.

Mne oxl se ek phone purchase kerne ki kosis ki thi jo ki vivo v9 tha. 1300 hajar rs ka aur kisi dharmik ne add daal rakha tha to usene bola ke half payment phle aur half payment baad me ker denga phone courier service aana tha to mne half payment 6000rs ker di. But usne jo address mujhe btaya tha vo veha ka nahi tha aur usne ids b sayad kiss aur ki send ki thi mujhe.

I have purchased the enfield bullet from mr. Rajan varma since jan 2017 from delhi bullet registration no. Dl 9s 2732. While purchase and advertise in olx mr. Rajan varma agreed to provide noc from delhi with in two months of period and whatever the expense of the noc i have to bear it. I am stated in kerala and he send the bullet through courier and i received the bullet month of june'2017.

Since last one year he not provide the noc and the original documents of the bullet. He borrowed from me 15000.00 rupees for noc and other expenses. Now a days he not answering for the phone calls and messages.

This user have posted a add of selling dell 5547 laptop with i5 processor of 5th generation and 8gb ram showing its origial price is 74000..
Bt when i finalized the deal and purchased it its not the same configuration, he had given me dell 5547 i5 4th generation model with 6gb ram and take money and...
So i want refund of double price i have paid tohim or either he should give me the laptop dell 5547 of exact specification he posted and messaged me vi your add.

All ads with person name starting with s, ssl, ss, sss, in iphone 6, 6s, 7, 7plus, 8 & iphone x catagory are doing fraud. Showing new phones with very less price or when you bargin upto 5 to 10k they send you number.in main add page see their location is always nearby but when u go to view profile mostly they are from other states and when you call them they say i am doing duty i will send u phone by courier i need money plz buy if you trust me and you say no and end call they will again call you 2 three days by saying your call came for purchasing mobile i will give more less. This happened with me. Plz do somthing for this type of fraud they will make you company name in fraud app list. I often buy mobile phone from olx and i kept eye on this type of ads. Plz do something its very irritating because if their are 100 adds more than 50 adds are theirs.
