I found a ad about video lectures on olx.
I bought video lectures by contact him he send me video lectures in dvd by courier. He send me courier from dehradun but in ad his location was delhi.
Dvds were not working so i called him.
He told me that i need password to open dvd. I asked him password he asked me to make full payment first.
I send him full payment via paytm.
Just after i send the payment he switched off his phone.
I called that paytm no. There was a lady and she denied any kind of payment recieving.
I messaged him he told me that he will tell me the password and procedure but his phn is switch off and he is not replying me.

My id was misused by anyone on 25/06/2018 and he was selling iphone 7 and iphone 7plus from my id of [protected] & [protected]. He was calling from [protected] to me. And also abusing with me. He said me your aadhar card is not updated with mobile number. And taken my otp using fraud. May be he was selling stolen mobile phones. Please consider on my problem & do needful for me.

I found iphone 6s plus 32 gb for 15000rs then i started talking to the person and he provided me the bill and told that I’m an army personnel from jaiselmer etc.He provided me his aadhar card, Pan card and his 2 army canteen cards on whatsapp.He gave me discount of 2000rs for being a student.And asked to pay 6000advance and 7000 rs after delivery.I paid 6000rs.And he sent me the photo of the parcel which he was sending to me.Next morning i got a call from the delivery boy that you need to pay 7000 more to receive your parcel which has arrived in dhaula kuan delhi.I had a conversation with the army person and cause of the Ids’ provided and his conversation i ended up paying 7000 more.Then the delivery boy called me and asked for more 3100 out of which 3000 would be refunded along with the product.I refused to pay the money and had a fight with both of them on phone.And now both of their numbers are not reachable at the moment.I’ll be filing a complaint in the cyber cell if he doesn’t respond till tomorrow.This was my 1st and last transaction from olx.

I am regular user of OLX for purchasing different products over a period of 5-6 years.On 26th June 2018 i saw an add for selling of Canon 80D camera title as "80D canon with 18-135 USM lens - 1.5yr old with warranty”
So I sent him a message on OLX that i am intrsted to buy camera n pls share ur number - he ask my number - then he sends Whatsapp msg with images stating that he was in hurry to sell camera so he had put Andheri Location...

Hey there. This complaint is regarding a watch ad that i recently saw. I was searching the olx randomly as i saw this ad of a good looking titan watch and in the description it says its from the usa. I was a bit amazed to look at an indian watch there. So i just greeted him and asked wether he has the bill, since he brought from the states then he should have a bill right? But he told there wasn't such bill and he claimed the price is around 4000 yet he posted the price in olx as 1800, look how he is luring people that it's a watch of 4000 rs and he's selling it for 1800. Then i asked the model number of the watch, but he posted a pic of the back side of the watch, i googled the number to see it's price. Surprisingly it's was priced at 1621 rs only at amazon for a brand new one. This watch in olx is an used one and he's selling for 1800 rs. I don't know how olx is accepting ads blindly. Hope this never repeats again and make sure to block his ad so that people don't get cheated

Dear sir/medam actually i want to complaint against alok jaitawal he his frauding many customer by selling mobile in olx he is telling that im a army person i cannot meet u due to meeting so give me ur address i will send u mobile in courier overnight with in 5hour and he is giving paytm mobile no to transfer the amount... And he taking the amount from customer and sending fake army id alok jaitawal so pls kindly take action on him i will give u mobile number kindly track so he cannot switch off the mobile 400 customer log a complaint on him website they are spoiling army name and doing fraud [protected]

Hi there my self mohammed sofi recently i booked the cab from yakupura to rein bazar and with in few min cab is booked but after waiting 20 min the cab driver didnt turned up then i had given a call to him ..and he said ur location is very far from here and i cant come and u cancel the booking but i said y did u accept the booking he said its keep on beebing because of this i have to accept the booking but now u cancel i said i will not cancel then he started bit rude and started giving me a number of calls then i have to block him and after few min i got information that booking has been cancel now i have to pay the cancelation charges and next booking they charged also this is the second time i have paid the amount for the miatake which is done by driver and there is no customer service number and i mention in written to ola but no response from there ..i kindly request u to pls look up the matter in this case so that next time driver cancellation charges should not be apply to the customer

Sir i have paid 13000 to vikram balu, olx id-[protected] for iphone 6 32 gb 7 months old.. And neither i received courier (Mobile phone) and neither my money. Sir please help me. Tell me what should i do. I had paid through paytm.

I am selli my mobile on olx.com. I give the ad 4 days ago. Yestarday i want to feature my ad and make payment with 119 rupees. I make 2 time payment fir feature ad. But no feature ad activated both time.. And also didn't get any refund. I paid two time rupees 119. How i get my money refund?? Even i can't activate feature ad. Please help me to get my money refund.

Since, i was to pay for posting my advertisement on olx, so i had the payment of rs.199/- for its activation of 30 days.

But very sorry to say despite receiving these following three messages viz. A viz. Of payment received by olx, transaction i. D. And of congrats for activation of advt., my advertisement for sale of activa scooter is still not uploaded on olx app. (Although requisite payment has already been made to olx)

I had successfully done all the steps through olx app, but still i have been facing failure on the part of olx.

Since i have made payment of advt. On olx, my advt. Must have been uploaded. But sorry, it is not there.

I want to purchase a camera from mr. Prakash singh who posted add of camera and i chat with him then he said he is at kerala so he'll courier the camera iif oi pay him. So i paid first 1000 rs then he sent me courier reciept and said i want now full payment. Product will ship within 2 days and reach by you early. Then i made 2 payments of 6500 and 7000 reps. And waited for 2 days but now his phone is off and he's not replying. What should i do now? His phone is switched off. And couriier is non traceble.

Hi OLX management,

Today I purchased a package of Rs399 for 5 free ads from OLX for putting ads for my items however, after posting one ad for Electronic item(Vu smart tv) when I wanted to post another ad for Queen size bed it didn't allow me to do so and was asked to pay Rs399/499 to post ads.

I then called up customer care and had a long conversation with the lady who handled my request. To my utter disdain and surprise I was informed that the package I purchased would only allow me to post electronic and appliances section ads and not any other section like beds & wardrobe or other furnitures items!! This has come to be as a shock since I never knew that OLX packages are for a particular section and not independent of it. Also I feel that with such packages OLX is doing disruptive marketing by binding its users to a clause and not allowing them to post Ads freely irrespective of the sections or type.

Anyways, I was put across to the supervisor Mr.Saman who first agreed to my concerns and also acknowledged that this clause is as per OLX policy. Fine I do understand but then for new users like me this whole system is very complicated and also when I need to put few ads urgently for my household items as I am relocating from Mumbai in a weeks time.

He did offer me 1 free posting for furniture item(Queen bed) but unfortunately that would not solve my problem as I still have 3-4 posting for non-electronic items. I obviously didn't agree to his offer and requested him to either refund my amt package or allow me more ads to post. After much persuasion and disagreement Saman told me that he will revert in 2hrs after discussing my case and arriving at an appropriate solutions.

Unfortunately even after 4 hrs I didn't get to hear from OLX and decided to call customer care and again had to wait for 10 mins before I could speak to Saman. I was surely expecting a positive response and quick resolution after all this delay unfortunately he was rude and did not pay any heed to my request also kept on telling me that 'You should have checked the T&C's and read the policies properly before buying the package'. Also he told me that I never contacted customer care which was absolutely false as I made attempts to reach OLX but due to long waiting I had to disconnect and looks at other alternatives.

I have wasted my entire day trying to get some resolution from OLX and in the process could not post ads of relevance as well! Few questions I would like to ask to OL X. Is this the way OLX tries to help their valued customer?? Shouldn't there me a more flexible policy of allowing users to post ads to any section once you buy a paid package? On the contrary I would like to know how many people actually buy OLX packages and out of that how many are genuine seller/buyers???

I am really very very disappointed with the entire episode and wanted to highlight you my ordeal. Obviously its OLX who calls the shots but you are forgetting that users like me are the ones who keep you in business and help you grow. Today probably you have few disappointed customers but tomorrow the number will rise and it will jeopardise your image and brand you have build up till now. I would also do my bit on social network and word of mouth!

I would end up saying one thing 'PLEASE LEARN TO BE MORE PASSIONATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMER, RESPECT THEM AND SHOW FLEXIBILITY'.

There is a fraud ad in your olx app by name balu I phone 6 or 6s 4/5 months old so people get attracted towards his ad and he saying that he is an army officer by providing all details on ur WhatsApp by sending u all ID proofs pics that was obviously fraud as the name plate was on left side as real army uniform having plates on right side he called people to airport and taken money from them by paytm or any other wallet app by saying ur parcel is ready to leave just send money and plzzz catch this man as he is a crook and defaming our national army... He taken 30 k from me by doing all this fraud this is all my experience and this might help u all peoples to beware of this fraud.
Also let me know I have all the details regarding this fraud can you please suggest how I get my money back...

I have been through a fraud for vivo v9. The seller named Jaikishan provided me the photographs and his identity proofs like army canteen card and pan card and asked for 5, 000 advance payment through paytm which I did on 19.06.18 then after sometime I received a message from olx that we banned a seller who was chatting with you. So i called him and asked to return my money but he denied and switched off his phone. Now he is not answering me. Please help me as soon as possible or I will have to file FIR.

On may 3rd, i saw an ad in olx who was selling a swift dezire car of 2014 model bearing no. Ts 08eg2753. When enquired about it, the person gave his number as [protected] and name as ravindra reddy and informed me that he is an army personnel and he has brought a hyundai creta car that’s why he is selling this car, and also told that this car is presently at delhi and i have to visit to delhi to collect the car. Then i asked for his address so that my friend who stays in delhi can go and see the car and confirm that this is a non accidental and with all clear documents, and he has given his address as “hyderabad to delhi to gurgaon to badshahpur road, firozpur, jhirka bus stand, plot no. 48” but when my friend was on his way to see the vehicle, the other men was not reachable in the phone, so he has to return back and later mr reddy gave the excuse that he has gone out of state with his army jawans for some urgent work.in the meanwhile i had also booked ticket to go to delhi as mr reddy was pressurising to take the vehicle at the earliest. And finally i boarded the train # 12649 sampark kranthi express with pnr no. [protected] on 12th may 2018 to go to delhi along with two of my friends and on 13th may 2018 i reached hazrat nizamuddin station at around 1000 hrs and while travelling i called mr reddy and insisted him to come to delhi near some hotel so that we can see the vehicle at delhi and finalise it but mr reddy told that he will come to station and when i reached hazrat nizamuddin station, he told me to take the metro train and come to gurgaon huda city station and he will come there, and when i reached there he asked me to take an auto and come to rajiv chowk and his person is waiting there. Accordingly we went to rajiv chowk around 1300 hrs and waited for his person. And finally a person has come in a ritz cab and he spoke to mr ravinder reddy from my mobile and confirmed us that he is his driver and he took us through sohna road and after around half hour journey, he suddenly took a right turn towards some village and stopped at an isolated place where eight men were already waiting with their face covered with white cloth and they immediately pushed into the cab and some of them took their pistols and asked us to hand over all the money, mobile and valuables and we were robbed at gun point. I had rs 2.6 lacs in cash for car, one friend had around rs 10000/- in cash and a gold ring weighing 8 gms and one more friend had around rs 4500/-. All this was looted by the miscreants and they also took away our 3 mobile phones (1). Moto x play and f-eye power bank, (2) redmi phone of my friend and, (3) moto g phone of another friend on checking my google device account, it has shown that my mobile was switched off at ghasera village.
After taking all these things, they gave 3500 rupees for us to go back to hyderabad, and literally we were stranded on roads and we thought of approaching the local police station there but after this ghastly experience we lost complete faith on the local people around, so somehow we just wanted to go back to hyderabad as all our family members were worried when all the three were not reachable on phone.
We somehow booked a ticket and returned back from delhi on 14th may’ 2018 and reached on 15th may’ 2018. Even after coming back, i could not come out of the horrific experience at gurgaon and i felt that i should lodge a complaint so that in future nobody becomes a victim in such a manner. I am still not able to believe what happened and how creep these criminals in and around delhi are.
I request you to kindly trace the miscreants and help in recovering the money (Which i have taken from muthoot by pledging some gold and paying the interest) and valuables and also punish the culprits in such a way that it becomes an example and people should not even think of such ideas.
