A person by the name Vikram vagmare/ Bijendra kumar tries to sell his mobile phones on OLX told me via OLX chat that he is willing to give me the phone with rs 12000 however he said he is currently posting in Jaipur and send the phone via Overnite courier and ask me to pay cash via paytm I did as I thought he is a genuine person (Referred as Amry personal)...however after transferring money the money of 17k he asked...

I've posted ad multiple times, each time making changes in price, title, description, and photo respectively and every time it says its discarded due to poor quality. The titles are 'computer games'and 'different games and series full list in description', not sure how the title is not suitable.
The description includes the list of games. There were 3 images which included the list of the games that i have, and i changed price between 100 and 200.
I've already deleted 2 ads and so here are the remaining ad id which i still have not removed.

On 4/5/18 i have sold my 2009apache160 to a person on coimbatore he jus gave me 10000 and said he will give me the balance by 10days as we discusses to fix the deal for 15000 he switched his phone off and gave me a wrong address and cheated me he switched his sim card too... Please help me i'm running out of cash please help me find him and tell him to give my amount..😓🙏

3rd of june i loss 3000 of this guy posted an iphone 6s advertisement on olx via this number :[protected] he is a fraud and using a fake identity of so called vikram waghmare and stating himself as a jat regiment indain army officer its a shame that a fraudster is using an indain army person identity.
He told me that he works at the security department in igi airport terminal gate no. 2
He asked me to send rs.10000 via paytm so that he can send someone outside the airport so that i can check the phone and pay the rest.
He started the reason for this procedure that he is not allowed to come out of the airport with any product and someone from the airport will meet me and give me the phone as a parcel package but for this you will have give some amount for it than i can clear all the document and when i send him 3000. He called me again to inform that send 9000 more because i have already dispatch the bill around 12000. How can i get my money back. Please help.

I see an add of i phone 6s plus on olx Chandigarh. The phone cost is 18000/- i send msg to seller for buying this mobile the seller said he is a army man & posting in jesalmer rajsthan. After negotiation the deal is done with 12000/- . He said he dispatch the phone through courier but first pay the amount of phone. And then i send 500 on june 1st to his paytm account [protected]. he send me a dispatch slip & his adhar card & canteen card for confirmation & i believe to him & send 500 more to his account on june 1st.
On monday june 4th i have a call from courier boy [protected] with this number he told me please send full amount of phone then i give you the phone. Then i say how i believe to you.. he said i am a army man & he send me his pan card adhar card & canteen card. & again i believe to courier boy & i send 1000 more to courier office number [protected] on monday 04 june 2018. He says this is not enough as per army rule you pay full amount of money then after he gave the phone. Then without thinking i send 10000 more to his account. I send total 12000/- to his account. After that i call to courier boy for giving parcal but he told me you send 5000 more as a refundable security. I am shocked what is going on. He again says we are army man & this is army rule. And also says if we are fraud then complaint to police. I was thinking what is right way. My 12000/- are gone. At last he says please collect your courier & send the money as a refundable 5000/- & without thinking again i send 5000/- to his account [protected]. After that i call to him & he says again please send final amount of 3150 & collect your Courier. Iam too shocked what is happening . I find in google their is many fraud cases as same. i lost 17000/- with this fraud.

and this person name is SRIKANTH.who gave a add samsung galaxy s9 plus 33500 r.s .im already pay 6000 r.s in advance.he tell me again 4000 r.s. then i courier your packet...so im tell him im already pay you 6000 in advance.why you asked me.again.so he tell im not sell my phone to you.and also not refund to you money.which im send.

I had seen an iphone add in olx and contacted that guy after paying half payment got to know that, person is fraud he said he had courierd parcel through overnight express.
The person had said that he had courierd the parcel from speed post from surat i dint received it yet he has already took half payment from me through paytm.

And waot more than 3 hours in airport.. Finally i came to airport has no depo.. After i called him no responce.. If i didnt gve complaint he continues to cheat more people... I will share that two cheat persons number and ac ount number [protected] this is who posting diz ad and [protected] this is whok spoke to me and say to transfer money and this is their using account number

Hi sir am sujith from bangalore i bought a macbook pro in olx from a guy named abishek in the olx add he posted it as macbook pro i5 4gb ram 500gb hdd and we met in one public place day before yesterday he gave me another macbook pro and took around 22.5k from me i called him to apple store he didnt came with me, he said if there is any complaint give me a call i will refund your cash the lap he gave me was complaint it core 2 duo i called him back he was calling me bad words and he blocked my number

O-lem bragain, p, s sadar, bariyatu, ranchi, jharkhand-834009, (Adhar card no.[protected] against cheating.
We discussed and agreed on selling his bike - rajdoot 350 cc reg no. Chj 7218 at a price of 50000 rupees. He was ready to deliver his bike at my city in kozhikode kerala as we agreed on telephonic conversation and whatsapp chats. The evidence of the same i keep. When he sent me the receipt of parcelling his bike through railway courier service (Booking no. D8832370) the evidence of the same i keep, i have deposited rupees 25000/- (10000+10000+5000) into his axis bank account reyas ansari, no.[protected], ifsc code utib0001407, bariyatu road, referance no ua64696370, ua64695890, ua64705728 on 21th may 2018 as per the discussion with mr ansari. Copy of payment receipts i keep. When he sent me photos of receipts of parcelling his bike through central railway courier services - which seems original, i have deposited the money was deposited as he provided me photos of parcel receipts in my whatsapp number and those pics seem original in appearance and there was seal of indian railway also. The receipt of railway parcel service was found fake and he cheated me with those bills after the payment is done, he is not attending my phone calls and his mobile number is switched off. Now the bike is not delivered to me as he said in the parcel receipts.
I contacted police station in sadar and informed regarding the incident of fraud.
Here with the mail, i request you to help me in resolving the issue.
The details of whatsapp chatts, id proof shared, payment receipts and photo of the bike are attached and i can sent with the india post. Please find for your kind consideration.

There are too many fraud add in olx. I have seen to buy iphone 6s than i reply to one add he send he’s number & we chatting in wt’s up he told am working indian army i vl ask wre can meet but he tell i can’t meet i vl send u parcel i give advance 2k after someone call ur parcel has came ple pay balance amount i told without seen product how can i pay but he was not came to my address he told am on the way pay the money & send screenshot after i vl give the parcel but he was no agree & he was not come he not refund my 2k but there are so many add is there so ple call me i vl tell u i have he’s phone number photo & chatting history

I posted an ad (Ad id: [protected]) in olx to sell my laptop, one of the chats asking to provide whatsapp number later in whatsapp, he asked me to send the package after he sends the money, i got the email from "[protected]@gmail.com onbehalf of [protected]@usa.com" saying payment of 40, 000 is on hold and requesting me to upload the shipment proof in order to release the hold.

I clearly said him that i would not initiate shipping g the package untill i have the money in my bank account. Later he said "i trusted you and you betrayed my after initiating the transfer, i will see you when i am in bank". This seems to be a total fraud. Please do something to stop these kind of cyber crimes.

Refer attachments for what's app conversation and olx conversation. I have attached the screenshot of the entire conversation with the person. I am sure if he is fake or genuine but later after this chat i see the whatsapp account does not have any display pic and the messages are not getting delivered which lands me into the doubt that this is a fake person. Please look into this and help indians in terms of the safety in online transactions. Please contact me for any additional information.

My frnd have made payment of online transfer money 31/05/18. Seller say to my frnd first send 10, 000 after send the product and after again send money 15, 000 after i will send product and parcel service 5, 000 paid so send another bank. He is cheat my frnd. Seller name is cisf officer srikanth. I read some complaint to about him today. I will attached i'd proof of seller and phone number and transfer bank details. So please help my frnd return my money back. Total amount is 43, 200.

A person said he is from the usa wants by my camera which he has seen in an advertisement (On olx). He asked the camera to be couriered to his son in delhi and he will pay the shipping charges also. Unfortunately, i gave my bank details.
He sent me a confirmation mail as that was sent from jp moran chase. I almost sent the shipment, then i called the courier guy to take the camera from the airport after seeing the complaints on the internet.

Olx member named nabamita daspradhan has put my mobile number instead of her own for buying a car resulting into getting unwanted calls from the site and many other calls for doing friendship from various dating sites and apps. When i ignored the calls it resulted into getting more abusive calls from multiple numbers which are too harsh for an educated and reputed family like ours. Though olx has its own goodwill and reputation this type of ignorance in order to increase its fame is totally unexpected. It should have got measures to authenticate if the person who is providing the mobile number is himself or herself or not by means of generating secured otp's. If this matter is not treated as priority i will file a legal complaint against both the defaulted parties.

I am very much disappointed with olx that they take the amount to highlight add for one month. But in return we get no. Of old viewers which are not interested at this time. I called to people that they have shown interest in our advertisement but they said that they are not interested no... They were looking for same property search few weeks or months before but at this time they have not shown interest in my add. My question is if any viewer is not showing interest that their contact no is shared with us just only to impress us that paid plan really works but inside their is nothing. This is totally fake. We are given fake customer no which have not shown their interest even.!!!

I have made payment by paytm on 30/05/2018 and the seller says that he need some money to courier the product thats why i have send him 100 and 200 rupees by paytm and the seller name is cisf officer srikanth and i read some complaints about him today so please help me to return my money back. He is still active on this id with the name of vikram waghmere and cheated with me today. By the same way sending bill and canteen card also voter id of vikrma waghmere. Even his number in truecaller is showing the same.

Can you please verify this card and arrest them.

Yesterday one fraud happened with me on olx. I saw a ad of galaxy s9 sale. I talk with him and he sent me his army officer doc so that i trust him. He get advantage of your respect to army and make fraud easily. After discussion he request for advance money i sent him 500 rs for courier using paytm. After that he sent me some courier pics. But after i know that he is fake. He not picking my call and whats app message not replying.
I complaint to olx team with email on [protected]@olx.in regarding this. My ticket id was[protected]. But they just removed his ad from olx nothing else. I think olx team also with him because without his help its not possible. If olx team really want to stop this thing then he able to do this easily. Because they have all the information about seller and ad poster with real time geo location. They able to catch him but they not doing this.

I just requesting to olx team to give a option on app in ad to see seller real location rather than fake location. So that buyer able to see the seller location and catch him in case of fraud. I think its possible thing for olx because i am also a software engineer and know its possible. But if olx team not will provide this option soon on app then its sure they helping to fraud guys and one day people will stop to using the olx.
