I had to sale my books. An american girl contact me to buy that books.
I asked her y u need these indian books, she told me she wants it for motherless baby.
She made a payment of 11000 rs and bank of america sent me mail.in which it was written that when u will ship product we will release your money. Along with it, there was written that, this is done to stop frodulunt and every transaction is in serveillance of inyerpol.
I trusted and courier books to an orphanage in thane (E).400603 mumbai.
I was shocked to see that neither money came in my account nor i got an e mail then her acc. No and mail id was invalid.
I paid 2000 in courier and now i want that back but that orphanage peoples are not helping me. I told them that i suffered from fraud but now they r even not picking my phone. I told them if books are of their use take that books but that books ate of gate and their children are till 10th class.
Now they are not responding me and no contact of fraud girl.. She told her name susan william working in ford motor plant.

Had made a purchase of a washing machine where the owner had advertised as being good condition + 1 yr of service warranty and 6 months of motor warranty, after getting the washing machine i have not been able to use it even once as the machine is not working, i tried contacting the dealer with whom i had made the purchase, he is not responding, not receiving my calls. I tried reaching the support at olx, got an immediate response from maria, other than she providing me with a ticket no. (Ticket id 1184659) there has been no update, no actions, what so ever! It's going to be two months now and i have a worthless machine for which i have paid 6200/- inr and not even able to use it even once!!!

I want my money back or a replaced machine, not happy with this falsified information being updated in the olx and creating havoc for a common man!

I have posted an ad about an alienware laptop. An user named arun contacted me about it via chat and when i told him the price he started being abusive. Its definitely very insulting when someone does this for no good reason. When i tried to tell him that 17inch alienware laptops are very expensive, he started saying things like "chall be". This is a gross violation of rules and guidelines under the telecommunications act and i request olx to take firm steps against this guy.

I talk with them for iphone 6. Price is negotiable. After ward tell me i currier you give it the money for currier price 480/-. I pay by paytm and tell him once i receive the mobile i check personally then i payment by paytm. Then i told him if you required for your safety. What document i send? But afterward he ask me half money and not give it me currier receipt.

This in reference to above mentioned add posted by seller named dhruv highlighting sale of husky puppies with valid kci and documentations.

I sent a interest on 27th july. On the same day evening dhruv called in the evening where i asked for puppy pics and videos. The same was sent on 28th morning by the seller. Puppy prize was posted as inr 18000 but i negotiated the same to inr 13000. Dhruv agreed on the same and shared his bank details of bangalore and asked me to send inr 10000 to pay the agent and send the puppy in a cabin luggage from bangalore to ahmedabad by 28th july 2017 evening flight (17.45 pm indigo flight from bangalore to ahmedabad).

We spoke on the call and texted on the whats app and considering the language of communication i felt confident on this seller and transferred inr 10000 and decided that remaining inr 3000 will be sent once i get the puppy at ahmedabad airport basis which dhruv will send the papers of the puppy.

Issue started after i made a payment of inr 10000 from my canara bank at 3 noon on after which i called and confirmed the same also. After 4 pm the seller has switched off his phone. Even though he is active on whats app and seeing my message he is not responding in any way.

I am very sure that i fell for this trap and want help to get back my money.

If anyone can help then please guide me how to resolve this problem.

I am a simple salaried person. My wife is a genuine animal lover who does lot for injured street dogs and so wanted to gift my wife a puppy but ended up loosing inr 10000 due to this fraud.

The user who have posted this add using above add id has shared all required information on the message on olx.in and i was supposed to buy a iphone 6, gold 16gb, the details are as per the specification he shared. Based on the conversation over olx on 24th july 2017. I have made the payment to him via paytm when he send me the docket number of the courier booked having the details of the phone. After i made the payment the user got his phone number switched off and as per the current data on the website its showing "phoneposter - user doesn't exist". Please suggest a resolution on this matter and give my money back.

I was cheated by a mobile seller and his number is [protected] who may be from kgf. By trusting him with his talks i had paid him full money via ptm and he was suppose to courier his mobile to my address. After getting money, he has not sent me the mobile which was for sale neither he is responding me.

Kindly take necessary action so that other users should not be his target.

I brought a mobile phone online from riyaz khatri. He informed me that only finger print is not working on the mobile. When i took the mobile home, checked, there was no wifi working as well as it showed no service. Which ever sim i put, it showed no service. He named himself rober wallace. He claims himself to be soldier, living in nigeria taking care of orphanages. He contacted me with this number +[protected] & +[protected] i send my laptop through dhl, costing me around 14, 000. He sends me this email "spam" email claiming that the funds has been made. And i needed to pay 20, 000 for taxation. I asked a lot of my friends whether this claim was right or wrong. And finally i spoke to a manager and said that there wasn't such a thing. I have been continuously trying to post a free ad of my motorcycle for sale and without any reason it is falling under the moderated column, i am a regular user of OLX, and have never faced any issue as such, but this time its really irritating, I want the management to look through this issue as early as possible and resolve it so that I can continue trading or might have to shift to another site.

Found a jobe add in olx. Post of supervisor in cipla mediplus. So i contacted the user and asked for my bio data, pgoto and rupees 2030 and i did according to him. And he promised to send me letter next day but after two weeks also i did not get any letter. Add is published by mr mayank ([protected]). I paid through paytm. Please take action against him.

First they sent a defective and dirty (with lot of mud inside) model and after many calls they sent a guy who changed the circuit board and asked us to start it after only 8 - 10 hours but it didn't work even after that.

Now, it has been 10 days with no proper response from their side though they claim in every 10-15 calls (out of which they pick one once) that their guy will be at my place either in the evening or the next day but as expected nobody shows up.

I was given a warranty of 1 year for the washing machine's motor but seeing the service I am sure that it is not going to happen

And today I saw a similar complain posted on OLX in June, 2016 (find the screenshot attached) about this vendor for which OLX claimed to have removed the seller from its listing but there are several post from the same vendor.

I want a refund and the product taken back as soon as possible, and I expect some serious action against the seller.

A seller with Ad ID: [protected] is using your platform to sell pirated and trial version softwares and pass it as genuine, when I found it he started to abuse me and threatened me ... the screen shot of the message is attached. Please block this user to save unsuspecting people from getting duped by frauds like this and bring a bad name for olx. Thank you..for your help

Respected sir/mam fake job advertisement of brittania company is posted in your website they cheat innocent people they mention their no [protected] i call on this no she told me come for interview at delhi adarsh nagar they took my interview and also give appointment letter to me and they took 1550 amount for uniform fees after that i will concern this matter to friends even i contact company in which they told to me that this ad is fake so please sir/mam delete this ad so others cannot be victim of theirs.

I have reported few ads as fraud still after a week those are still there, he is a fraud seller, i also paid money & he ran, i identified his # because of his dog pics & content that he already sent me, he has 3 ads on olx, i reported the ad as fraud so that no one else gets caught in this unlike me, still u people didn't do anything. He always request the other party to whatsapp their no & he will contact them, i hope now u will take this srsly & block this user forever, m also providing a screen shot of his 3 ads.

I saw an ad in olx.in about apple macbook pro and i contacted the seller for the laptop. He told me he working in customs area and said that now he is in cochin, kerala. I told him don't have trust on you please share me you government id card along with laptop bill. After every verification i was trusted on him and he told me to deposit half money 7000/- in advance to ship out the product. I did it accordingly and i tried to call him he dint pick up and later he picked up and said he sent it. After that he sent me courier recipt for remaining payment. He told me i sent your courier and courier recipt and you'll get your laptop in two days then please make my remaining payment now and i did accordingly and make his remaining payment 7000/-. I tried to call him again to ask courier tracking number and he switched off his phone. Courier recipt is fake.

I still haven't received the courier. I feel i`am stuck up in a terrible scam. I accept my mistake of contacting from an untrusted seller. Kindly help me, what can be done in this case. Kindly help get me my money back.

Hi, yesterday i joined olx and posted few ads. From the time i have posted my ad, i started receiving harassing calls just an hour ago i received a call from +91 [protected] and the guy told me that he is calling from olx brand promotion team and distributing bodycare samples to the new users. Started asking about vital stats and sizes and also took my address to deliver the free samples. After enquiring the customer service people got to know there is nothing happening anything like this. I removed all my ads and also deactivated my account.

Suraj from gudgav had posted a add 4 lshape sofa only 1month old4 23000, i proposed 4 18000/-, he gave a contact no of what'sap n call, as i connected continue abt 4days he won my trust n said to bring all my other goods 2 along vth sofa.
Bt on the delivery day 16july after paid d heavy amount he switched off... N still i didn't found him

I have planned to purchase used waching machine from a dealer named syed salman ([protected]) on olx. Before delivering the product i have enquired about the condition of it. Sellar told product was in good condition. After, when i received the prodcut it has few damages and i didn't accept the product and asked to take back. The delivery boy called and sellar and told the issue. Right after that sellar started scolding and started shouting at me and using bad words. Besides that he asked me to give 700rs for transporation. He said if i don't give that money he told he know how to get it from me. What does it mean. There is no manners at all for this sellar. Olx has to take action on him.
