I have posted an advertisement of selling my laptop for 8500rs and someone named muthu called me and bought that laptop from me for 7500rs whereas i went to his place... After tow days he called me back and telling that the laptop's display is not working so replace the money but the laptop had no issue with the display.. He blackmails me to refund the money.. What should i do? Is there any fault from my side? He checked that laptop then only bought

They are allowed the fringe elements in the website.actually they are not buyers they are only using vulgar languages for the sellers whereas seller posted only genuine price for his product.you do not purchase no problem but use vulgar talk about seller that is the problem.please olx do something to maintain the decorum of the website.and take strict action against those who are doing this nonsense actually they are not a buyers only timepass

This is a wrong post given by any unknown person, i have no any bike like this and no any add given by me. So kindly remove this add from the olx, , a lot of customer calls are coming to me, , i am not responsible for any queries or police complaint regarding this bike

Sold a wireless bluetooth on olx .. Customer who bought it carefully tested everything and then made the payment.. After few days he calls n tells me to take the thing back complaining its not working properly now does such things olx support like really .. And i had no option then taking the sold product back .. This sounds a bit ridiculous.. Cause annoying sumone can definitely create trouble for a small amount..you guys shld make a strong...

His name is Saravanan as per true caller id. Given add on macbook pro and I have transferred 20k as advance money in idbi bank in Manapakkam TN. And he provide wrong courier Id intentionally and I found later that he cheated.

His phone number is switched off after that.

I went through the ad on olx and contacted the seller amit.K roy, but told him that iam from bangalore. He agreed to send the unlock software through email but after receiving the money of rs.7000 suddenly he vanished and his phone [protected] went switch off. Then i tried to reach his address which he had given me but he had vacated that address and finally found that he has now moved to lucknow -eiffel club as chef. When i contacted him at the club, he refused to speak and the club people also did not help me . Now after trying to reach him to get my money back, the club people are saying that he is quit that job and moved out.
So how can we ensure that the money which we pay to seller is for an assured service.

How can i get refund from fraud seller in this case ? Olx will surely wash off the hands by just saying a simple sorry...

Although i know that it is very difficult to get money back in such cases but i thought it better to report in case to avoid others getting cheated like me .

This is with reference to the same complaint which Mr satyabrata.samantaray has lodged on Mar 18, 2016. The same thing happens with me and the guy named Sandeep asked me to send 10, 000 Rs/- for the HP enovio laptop. I cross verified the laptop model with its serial no. and found it to be correct. I told him that I will deposit only 4000/- after receiving the courier slip and remaining I will transfer after I receive the laptop. He agreed and send me the slip . I made the online transfer of 4000/- Rs . After 2 days when I was unable to track the courier I got suspicious and called him but his mobile was switched off, I confirmed with Blue dart office and found the tracking no. wrong.

On 1st April I see a advertisement on olx of iPhone 5s in rs 13000 I did contact with him for the information about the phone & he increased the price I.e 15000 I m agree with the price & he calls me on new delhimetro station for the dilevery of phone he show me the original product on that time the phone battery becomes low and by saying charge the phone at your home he exchange the phone with the demo...so sir please take the strict action against him.

I contact the persone miss puja on 29th march 2016 on OLX for Samsung j7 to buy. As per her request I deposit 6600/- in the ajay nayak's axis bank account.
In the afternoon she told me you will get delivery in evening. I wait for full day and next morning. in between I try to contact her but she didn't gave me reply. I try to contact her but she didn't gave me reply any more.
Now I request you to take a strict action against this fraud customer.
And help me to get my money back.

Olx banned my account for no reason at all. i have been browsing on the IT section and mobile section for a laptop and a phone. One fine day i cant log in because for no reason they banned my profile. This kind of attitude is not expected from a reputed company and i want this issue to be resolved soon.

This guy from amritsar name kanwaljit gave ad for a pet ad id[protected]
I transferred money but he ws unable to give a pet by stipulated time due to vch i hd to cancel the deal..on request for refund..he kept postponing the money tfr for almost 20 days aftr which i hd to physically travel 300 kms to claim my money and even then i couldnt get all of it. You are requested to take appropriate action against such fraudulent indls using your enterprise to carry out such activities. Thank you

We saw an add id no[protected] in olx on 22.2.2016 for an innova car sale rs.680000. The contact number. [protected] name hamed cosny. He said to pay rs.185000 in to a sbi bank account no.[protected]...Manoj kumar saha...Pan no:gfbps3508r...Rajaram mohan roy road branch.Code 0145222 kolcatta, pincode-700008. Later on the mobile was switched off and we realized that we have been cheated.

We trusted olx, hence we request olx to track this fradulant advertiser and enable us to redeem our hard earned money.

I have been trying from yesterday to reach the advertiser and have called at least 15 times. I always get phone switched off or not available message. I have also sent SMS.
Hope you will take action against such who only harass genuine customers.

My dad saw an ad on olx regarding a Toyota fortuner(https://www.olx.in/item/toyota-fortuner-3-0l-4x2-manual-diesel-2012-mod...⇄ called the owner named Estatico Fransesco.Since my dad is away from India I was the one who was talking with the owner.This is what he emailed my dad and me, below is the email by the owner:-

My OLX account is banned for no reason after posting a few ads. I dont know the accurate reason. So I request to take immediate remedial steps and get my OLX account restored and the ads which I have had posted using my precious time.

Sir, on date 14/03/2016 i found an add of Mac book Pro with price 13, 000/- on OLX & the ad was posted by Upender Pathak from Jammu & Kashmir .i talked him about Mac Book, he told me to transfer money to his PNB account .& he message the account details (Screenshot attached)next day morning i transferred the money 13, 000 to his account including Courier charges Rs.800 .. total amount 13, 800/- (Deposit receipt attached )after deposit the money i call him to give me the courier consignment no, on next day he send me Blue Dart courier receipt to my Whatsapp no .But the provided Consignment no Showed wrong on Blue Dart.So i called blue dart Customer care for inquiry, they told me that nothing is booked for this Consignment no. So i called Upender pathak again & noticed him on date 16/03/2016. on the date form 06:00 Am i called him 42 time but he didn't answered.finally i knew that hes was a fraud. he read all the messages that i sent via whatsapp. but no reply..13, 800 in not a small amount for me.Sir Pls take some necessity action

I have approached a user to buy bicycle hero .when i called him he said it is negotiable and he said he will be giving it to me for 3500.I stay near jntu and his place is near gachibowli approximately 11 kms. My brother and father went there to get the bicycle on the agreed price.He made them to wait for 3 hours and then he said that he never accepted to sell for 3500 and even then my father liked the bicycle so we agreed to take it for 4000 and then he started saying that he changed his mind he don't want to sell the bicycle.What should i do??where should i complaint??I want to do something such that no can repeat this??
