HI All,

My name is Earnest Angly from Hyderabad India, i have kept my laptop for sale and on 7th feb 2018 i have received a msg from Mr. Robert Wallance stating that he would like to buy my product along with the shipment charges for 40k, I have sent him my acc details and later on i have received an email from his bank BOA to send the scan report of the courier bill. I have got doubt on that and checked with my bank. They told that there is no such transaction happened.

He said that he is working for an US army and would like to gift this laptop for his son who stays in Bangalore. I clearly told him that until and unless i wont receive the amount in my account i will not do the shipment. He is been trying use different accounts in Olx and trying to cheat people in India.

My dear friends please be aware of people who would like to buy your product for more that the rate what you kept and especially people who are not from your localities.

I put up a wrist watch to sell in olx and then on the same day i got message from [protected]@gmail.com saying i am interested in ur product and then he gave his address and paid the money from laurentian bank of canada and then another mail came from laurentian bank saying the payment is done but the money will be sent only when the shipment is done and then i couriered the watch and send d details to the bank. But i never got the payment instead the bank asked for some international tax or something that also i paid from my pocket

Vikram balu waghmare is a fraud. There was a aad in olx of i phone 6 32gb. He cheated me and taken 6000 from me. I purchased a splendor bike from juneja auto center in jheel scooter market, which was add post by yash pal mobile no. [protected] in olx as individual seller. It was absolutely fake add.in the post it was shows that its only 16100 km drivern but in actual it was driven more than one lakh kilometer. I am requesting to olx team to take hard step against such fake seller, who use olx as plateform to cheat people. My question is with olx team.. Do you think that i will come again to olx or will suggest any friends to buy things from olx. Please took hard step against the seller.

And sed a id proof I agreed to send lappy by parcel service with insurance. After 01/02/18 he ask me for money as he already send me the receipt of courier service which is attached below. Few days back I searched for iPhone on old and talked with the seller he told okay I will send this to you from courier service so he sent me all the pictures and Bill of the phone . The courier service named as Overnite Express. The seller told me that courier will reach to you in 24hrs .It's now passed more than a week now and yet not arrived . Many times I called both courier service and the seller they told that the item get stucked somewhere will reach soon . And after I asked for delivery boy number then he given me the wrong number which is [protected] . Then I called at courier service then even after this he is not receiving the phone .and also the seller is not receiving the phone. I texted on WhatsApp also but the seller blocked me ...please help me to get out my money from here . I paid advance .and I m a student and saved for buying a phone and they cheated me .

There was a woman who offered me 43000 inr for my laptop which was listed as 49000 on olx.
He claimed to be from the usa and wanted to gift it to his colleague.
He told me that his bank will contact me for bank to bank transaction for safety of both o[censored]s.
The bank was chase bank.

It looked very genuine which it was not
And it asked me to send the scanned copy of the shipping receipt from the speed Post.

They fool indians with fake bank disguise to which we have no way to contact!

As i want to buy second hand mobile i logged into olx i saw iphone 6 add for 14k a person naming vikram balu waghmare.. The deal was first i have to make half payment (6k) and after getting mobile i have to make another half payment... I made a payment through paytm of 2050inr. Now he is not at all responding... I have his number also please help me

This is kunal. I saw an ad on olx of imac pro, so i shared my number.
I got messages from the dealer. Apparently, the dealer is shipping from us. He sent me location map but its not correct at all (I found after lots of search) (Where on olx it shows pune). He sent receipt photos and videos for gaining trust. He asked me to send my shipping details. Which i sent through mail. After sending mail mr. Jackson muse send me mail that he received my mail.
Then he asked me to transfer 5000 (Inr) and remaining amount on delivery, so i transferred 5000 (Inr). They said there would be shipping immediately. They did not share any shipping no. Next day they said the product is in pakistan held by customs. He shared a video of products held for customs and asked me to transfer 20000 (Inr). Which he did not inform me priorly after a lot of arguing i agreed to send 8000 (Inr). By this time i started feeling fishy about all this. I google a bit about such scams. And i understood if this guy asks more money he is 100% scam. Next morning (Which is today) again i receive a message asking to send 30000 because the product is held by indian customs. I asked for receipt or shipping id or any reference code. But he did not send me any receipt till now and now he is asking my phone number to get a code and i refused to give him up. Then he said then you won, t get anything my 13000 (Inr) as well as machine. Now i am not paying him single money now. And this was a learning lesson for me never to buy anything from olx.

Hello, i was scammed by the olx user dlr, he asked me to pay advance 3500, i know this was my mistake but the deal was good, the phone was of 26500 and he said he will require confirmation so as token give me 3500, it was fine i said.

I have paid a person an amount of rs 500 via paytm as a security money for a kitten located in uttar pradesh. The person was disguised as a ngo person. He told me that he would deliver me the cat in the next 2 days after the payment... After the payment he messaged me that i have been scammed... Also he sold me 2 citizen automatic watches at 3000 each with fake case and dials. I came to know of this fraud when i have one of the watches for service.
This person has cheated me and i request olx to take action against this fake seller.
