Non delivery of Consignment and mis-statment as to "OFFICE CLOSED"

I would like to inform the mis-statement given by your delivery boy of Overnite Express Ltd. in respect of Consignment No.[protected] dated 06.014.2010 in my favour. As you personnel had mentioned that the Office found closed but the address is residential house and the same was never closed.

After enquiry from Overnite Exp.Ltd it was came in notice that the said letter were returned to consignor.

The captioned letter is containg Draft against DB Corp IPO Share Refund from Karvy Stock Broking Limited.

This is not correct dealing or can say earning from cheating by this Courier company.

My Packet dispached from bangalore on 30/12/2009 10:30am Consigmnent No.[protected] not yet delivered after 8days after numbers of calls and chain of mail complaint and reminder.

Please help me to find out my packet and make sure the delivery of consignment no[protected].
Since last to days I visit bangalore branch but they not responding properly My packet was dispatched from bangalore on 30/12/2009 not yet delivered to Muzaffarpur .I am not able to find correct muzaffarpur branch contact no and available no on OEL site STD CODE and Contact no both are not correct.

I had submitted complaint for this also but there is no response.

thanks atleast you replied twice .
but muzaffarpur banch person till no didn't replied for any mail and while I called them they didnt replied satisfoactory answer.
Just said today they will dilevered,I asked they the packet dispached from patna on 2nd Jan 2010 why it is not delivered till now ,they disconnect the call.
Person name Mr Sahay [protected]. Mr. Shivendra [protected] gave me this number and told me he only can tell you the status.

but muzaffarpur banch person till no didn't replied for any mail and while I called them they didnt replied satisfoactory answer.
Just said today they will dilevered,I asked they the packet dispached from patna on 2nd Jan 2010 why it is not delivered till now ,they disconnect the call.
Person name Mr Sahay [protected]. Mr. Shivendra [protected] gave me this number and told me he only can tell you the status.

Now i can conclude Overnite express is the worst Currier service .i will never use your service in future .since last three days i follwed up all the relevent branches Bangalore Delhi patna and Muzaffarpur but no one told me exact status of the packet and when they will deliver

Till now it is not delivered ,current time 6.30 pm .
Today i called 5 time and they promised they will delivered today but result is zero .

Just now i called to Mr Sahay [protected] at 10.15 am.He asked me to call after 11.30 .
I asked him even though he promised for delivery yesterday why this is not delivered .He replied me he will ask to delivery boy then he can reply.
Mr. Shivendra [protected] didn't pick the phone.

May I know the name of the contact person who is responsible for delivery.
Mr. Sahay like person should not be a point of contact for any kind of issue. He he not ready to talk.

Is there any one confirm me is that packet lost or what happened to that packet.
This packet contact Data card and few CD if it is lost who is the responsible for this. To whom I need to contact for delivery and escalation

I have booked the I-Ticket on Nov 21, 2009. I have not received the ticket till Nov 25 2009. The Date of Journey being Jov 26 2009.

The issue is that we are not travelling with that train, and decided to cancel the ticket. Since we have less than a day to cancel the ticket, the amount we got refunded is less than 50%.

What is the proof that you have delivered anybody can sign and consignment was delivered without detailed address isn't it surprising?

My Pan card had been dispached by NSDL on 9th oct 2009 by overnite Express Ltd. Courier company, POD no. is[protected].

I did not Received that courier, when i complain that to the company on 15 oct, they said some anil had been received this courier, but there is no one in the name of anil at my flat. Today on 19 oct i asked about my complain, they are replying that some delivery sheet they require after that they will check who has taken my courier. and they require 2-3 days more. But if they did not find it, i have to apply for reissuing it.

that means another 15 days and reissuing charges to be submit. Who is responsible. will they have to fined about that delay.

We had sent one packet through Overnite Express vide docket no.[protected] on 8th May 2009
The packet not received to the right person, instead they are claiming that the packet is dispatched and delivered. On asking of Proof of Delivery, they are failed to produce till today (reason : POD is missing)

Again, we had sent one more packet through Overnite Express vide docket no.[protected] on 5th June 09 which also had not been delivered till today. The reason of delay are better known to them. The officer at Delhi are not even bothered to attend the telephone calls.

We are trying to chase our packets but failed to trace them. Overnite is not responding. Please help us out...

i was expecting my document from kotak banh, mumbai.on 16-may-09 i found slip showing that courier came on 15-05-09 from overnite express but my house was locked.

i called them on 16th and told them to deliever. also i called them on 17th to deliver the same.
but they did not tuned up.
again i called them on 18th to request for delivery.but on 19th i received message that it has gone back as house was locked on 18th. the truth is that nobody came on 18th and they just show the wrong reason and sent my document undelivered.

This is Amit Jagwani. I am extremely unsatisfied with the pathetic services of Overnite Express Delivery.

Following is the chain of events whch lead me to write such a statement:

I was suppose to recieve a document from HSBC, which was given by HSBC to Overnite (for faster delivery?) on 25/03/09 so that its is delivered by 27/03/09 (Friday).
When I did not recieve the document on 27/03/09, I asked my wife, Mehek Jagwani, to give a call to Overnite on 28/03/09 at 11:00 AM in the morning to enquire about the document.
At that point of time she was told by the customer service executive that the document will be delievered today. (Saturday, 28/03/09)
Again at 12:30 she gave a call to confirm the time as the document was very urgent. At that time she was informed that the document was with an agent, A.S. Majhi and was also given his contact number ([protected]).
She gave a call to AS Majhi to request delivery at the earliest.
The person was very rude and disconnected the call stating 'Giving a call everytime will not make any difference' and the document will be delivered by 08:30PM-09:00PM only.
She again called Overnite to inform them about the same, this time stating how important the document was, and requested delivery by 07:30PM.
The line was connected to the manager/supervisor, Baishak. He was informed about the urgency. He committed that he cnnot promise the time(as the agent does not have the delivery boy's contact number), but the document would certainly be delivered today. (Saturday, 28/03/09) He also confirmed to give a call at 08:45PM - 09:00PM if the document was not recieved.
We again called at 08:50 PM to speak with Baishak. He had left for the day! The representative who recieved the call after checking the call logs, again confirmed that the document will be delivered today and he would cll us back after speaking with Baishak and the agent AS Majhi. I also told him that once its 09:00 PM, I will have no one to turn for help as everyone will have left by that time. He promised to give a callback after checking with the supervisor and the agent. I did not recieve the call. I tried calling the agent again. His mobile was switched off at 09:05 PM

The document was finally delivered on Sunday, 29/03/09 which occured a loss of Rs.55, 000.00 for me.

Sir, I have received one parcel (empty box) from overnite courier service consignment no. is[protected]. Sir Guruji.com from Bangalore has sent to me a parcel i.e. MP3 music player, I received parcel from overnite courier service but box is empty nothing inside. Therefore, it is requested to you pl. find the fault.

We have booked a consignment from Overnite courier service on 31st January 2009 having AWB No. 45825065 from Aligarh to Lucknow

On tuesday 3rd Feb 2009 this consignment was delivered to Lucknow, during the delivery the Box was found badly tampered and the seal of our Aligarh Service Centre and Overnite Seal was also found broken.

When we have called Mr. Manvinder at local overnite office, lucknow, he told us to check the parcel from inside and we found that the materialv(Scanner) inside the box was also found damage.

Then we mailed to overnite customer care and they told us to submit the claim at Aligarh Branch.

We have submitted the claim on letter head with the copy of AWB 45825065 to Overnite Aligarh Branch on 21st of Feb 2009. But Since then we have not received the claim it's going to be one month.


Whenever we call overnite for claim they said that it will be processed by next week and when on today we called to Mr. M.M. Niazi at local Aligarh Overnite Branch, first of all he talked very rudely and used wrong words and also told that " bar bar phone mat karo claim aane mein 2-3 month ka samay lagta hai". It seem as if he abuse us.

Is that the way of talking to valuable customers. secondly they are clearly saying that claim will be received to you in two or three months.

Kindly give some solution.

This is to inform you that one packet (Dox no[protected] was booked on 30.12.2008 from Gurgaon branch of Overnite Express to Manglore(Roorkee).The packet was given by the book tractor Gurgaon.
Please note down following points n im sure i will get a reply for it.
1)The packet which was booked on 30th December 08 has not yet reached the destination as on date i.e 20th January 09
2) Your tracker is showing that the packet was delivered on 15th January 09 from Delhi to Gurgaon where as the packet was to be delivered at Manglore(Near Roorkee)Hence ur tracker is useless as far as this case is concerned.
3) I got a mail on 20th January from ur corporate office that the packet has been delivered on 15th January 09 as they were saying wat ur tracker was telling them and they were not using their brain.
4) I spoke to one old man at ur Roorkee office/franchise-best known to you about this packet, first he told me on 18th that no such packet was either delivered to Manglore nor he has sent such packet back.On 19th January when i was having Dox no then his statement was changed n he said the packet might be returned due to no service to that area and if the packet comes again he will still not deliver it to Manglore and he was blaming the Gurgaon office that why they are accepting the booking of Manglore. 5) I spoke to one o[censored]r employees at Gurgaon on 20th January at 5.00 pm n i told her wat ever we are talking ur MD is also listing to it n she said i dont care who listens either MD or CMD.
6) 22 days have passed n still the packet has not been delivered is something not tolerable.that was such an important packet for me that i have lost more than a Lac of rupee due to shere carelessness o[censored]r Overnite team.
7)Im still asking the mail ID of the MD of the company but no body is giving me.I want this msg of mine should reach the MD of the company.

Dear Sir/Ma'm,

With due respect, i want to bring this thing to your information that I have overnite courier service to get my Laptop delivered from Yamuna Nagar(Haryana) to GandhiNagar(Gujarat).

We inquired about the transit problems if any, and after a positive response from sender side (ie Yamuna Nagar), we decided to send it fully insured, by paying extra money.

But on delivery, we found the laptop screen to be fully damaged, leaving my laptop unusable. So we need you to take the required action for that.

I also want to bring following points to your notice:
1.) On sender side, we told the delivery address and the concerned person said that yes it will be delivered thereat.
But on even 3rd day of sending, when I didn't received my laptop, i had to ring first to your Ahmedabad Branch, which had no information about my laptop, and then to Gandhi Nagar Branch, which clearly said that my address is outside your service area. I was left with no other option, but to go by myself to your branch to take the delivery. I had to leave my work at office for that, but i quickly took the delivery, but when i opened the parcel, I found that the screen is not working. I am not a computer hardware engineer that i can come to know that what has happened.
I took my laptop a service center and then i come to know about the problem.

2.) Then i went to your GandhiNagar office to tell them about the problem. All i got was "This has happened for the first time with us, we don't know what is to be done, give us time to find out what is procedure to claim".

3.)I asked the sender side to go Yamuna Nagar Branch office. There it was told give an application describing about the problem, any service report, which was done immediately.

4.) After that i got no response from GandhiNagar branch. I had to visit GandhiNagar branch thrice, but there was no genuine person available, except the delivery boys, who don't know anything but to fill your slips.
At last on my fourth visit i found some one there, who at least knows about my case, but he doesn't have any decisive power, but only he can do is talk in Ahmedabad branch. He even doesn't know the name of concerned person to whom he was talking in Ahmedabad, only he could say is "Bade Sahab Naye aaye hai".

5.) The shocking statement i got from that person is that "You are Late for any discussions" as if i had commit a crime to use the overnite courier service and i should leave my job and should sit outside overnite office and wait for any person to come whom i can complaint. That very "Bade Sahab" asked me to give me copy of that application which we have given in Yamuna Nagar Branch. That means again i have to get that application courier from Yamuna Nagar to Gandhi Nagar, and I did that.

6.) Again I visited GandhiNagar office, during (my own) working hours to give them application, and i requested the person there to please at least tell me name of that person and contact no. to whom you are talking and forwarding that application. But that person himself does not know the name or no. But he committed me he will ask that person to revert me back by that evening and took my cell no. It has already been 10 days to this, but no one has revert back till now.


So at last I am writing this mail to you, hoping that you will look into the whole situation.

Kindly note that all the visits I and sender side person has to made to your office were during office hours as, Sunday you are closed, so that had led to work loss on both side, plus the response we get from your office persons is also frustrating.

Im running my own business of outsourcing. i have several branches of my office across tamilnadu.

one of consignment was sent to me from Tuticorin to my resident address.
the courier was sent to me on 7.01.2009 but tilldate i havent recd the courier.(today is 17.01.2009).

this is not the 1st time for me too. (the same instance taking place for me 4 times on the past 2 months). when i called them they had given their trichy area manager's no. but with holding such a huge position, he is not all responding properly for his delay eventhough the mistake lies on his part.

im Tanuj goel from jammu. I didn't receive my courier from your branch. in the courier there was a demand draft of Rs 5 lac someone has opened that envelope and they didn't deliver my envelope and they made receive signature on the delivery copy. when i asked them where is my courier they told me we have already delivered ur courier at the end i found my envelope from the home of delivery boy.
