Hi,

My booking id UOSQ2650

Please escalate this matter to highest authority, as its been a week and I have called your service center atleast 10 times but still no proper solution is provided.

Sequence of the events.

1) At first I was denied for check-in even when I paid the entire amount online on the ground that I've paid online. The staff was sleeping and they didn't let me check in, their behavior was totally unprofessional. The staff was fighting with rods in their hands with other guests who were also denied check in. They were goons not staff.

2)Then I cancelled booking and the hotel guy told me that I'll receive my money within 2 days.

3) Now when I contacted Oyo, they told me that because I suffered, they will definitely help me but whenever I call them they put my call on hold, tell me that they will call you back after 2 hours and boom no call from their side. They kept my call on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes and then disconnected.I have all the recordings.

4) They put my call on hold for hours and then they disconnect I've tried contacting them 20–30 times.

Please escalate this matter to highest authority, as its been a month and I have called your service center atleast 20 times but still no proper solution is provided.

Venue of the hotel is *Hotel arya, naya gaon, Chandigarh * . Please don't make booking to this hotel. It's worst hotel anyone can ever book.

    I have a booking in oyo and i have not received a refund amount of 5553 and 289 for more than a month while the period of their refund is 7-14 days
    And i have been calling them non stop and they have no solution whatsoever. They just keep disconnecting calls or keeping them on hold and they never call back. They have just kept the money and i hate and have so negative reviews about oyo rooms. Worst customer experience ever. Booking id - xwyf6085

      Hi, this is priyanka i had done a booking for bnel7281 at oyo 39586 satya resort. I had done the full payment for it and now the oyo has shifted our booking to omkar residency which has no facilities and that too without my permission. I want the same booking as our travel date is on 31 and there are just 4 days left. How can we manage at such less time. If the had no rooms they should have not accepted and confirmed our booking.
      Please take action against them as soon as possible as our checkin date is near by.

      Hi,

      We tried to contact oyo for booking it at some new hotel as it was told that oyo will provide us the same kind of facilities hotel and the extra cost will be payed by oyo. But we have already mailed and tried to contact them regarding further booking, we haven't got any reply and mail, we are waiting gor the booking to be done from oyo end as the price of the hotels are already high on 31st so we couldn't do payment from our end.

      The case has been handled by shubham kumar, he had helped us to provide hotel with same facilities . If any issue happen again with this booking oyo will have to takecare of all the problem .
      I am resolving this case from my end . If again it happens i will reopen the case .

        My colleague and me went to vizag on official trip on 18.12.2019. Oyo hotel booking was done on my colleague name mr. Yugandhar naga phani prasad.
        To our dismay, for only one person the hotel booking was done from my office side. Myself did not get the confirmation of stay in that hotel. I requested the oyo, town house hotel in vizag for extra bed space. They agreed and told me it would on extra cost. I said ok. And at the same time, i requested them to give invoice for the amount, which i would pay. At the time of check out, they collected rs.1000/- and as charges for extra space. The town house hotel executive told me that, i would get the invoice, if i contact the oyo customer care.

        Surprise thing is that, i have been calling oyo customer care for invoice copy and every time i speak to the agents, they are simply taking my mail id and not sending the invoice. I spoke to your executives like vaishnavi, vijay so on.. They have taken my mail id, but they are sending.

        This is completely ridiculous and oyo customer care is losing faith in customers. Today also i spoke to mr. Vijay, he said he would send the invoice copy, but still it has not come to my mail id.

        I request the concern to please look into the same do the needful at the earliest.

          Hi,
          I am a resident of ansal green valley jakhan rajpur road dehradun which is a residential colony. At and my next door you have an oyo room (Oyo home 64269).
          Complain pertains to, clint/guest making late night parties, making loud noise till 2.30 or 3 o, clock in the morning. Due to that we all family are suffering since few days.
          You are request to adhere the govt norms on this other wise i will force to make an police complain against this.

            Oto hotels kj xl4351. Booked hotel room through oyo. The pic shown in there app is entirely different and provided stinking ugly room. When requested for change oyo customer care treated us badly and did provide any ulternative. It's oval retreat in ernakulam.
            Very bad service from oyo. No solution from oyo. Wasted whole day standing in sunny day.

              Gnum7321... I booked my hotel in 11448 rs. A month ago.. But suddenly when 3 days left to check in my hotel got shifted to another hotel we the tarif is 41000.

              C the difference my budget was 11448 and they shifted to hotel for 41000 after that i am calling customer care 10 times a day they are telling to hold it may take little long time and i will be on hold for hours... But no response... This is the way oyo treats a loyal customer... My amount is not refunded and i cancelled my trip

                We had booked 2 double rooms for 4 people to stay at yelagiri, at hill view cottages (Oyo 41072) for 2 days between 22 to 24 dec 2019 and it was confirmed via booking id cyop6347 but to pay on arrival. However when we reached the hotel on 22nd we were informed that this cottage is not part of oyo and we were stranded for hours and we ended up in staying in another and paid heavily and had to stay in one single room without any additional bed. The service provided by them is very pathetic and especially in a place where we are only tourists it was very difficult to negotiate and whole purpose of booking via oyo rooms is defeated and strongly condemn this type of poor service and patrons should take care of this type of poor service from established provider with lots of promises online.

                Very bad service and issue was not resolved. We ended paying huge money to stay for those two days becuause OYO has cheated us by stating a partner hotel but turned out to be fraud

                Luckily we didn't pay the money upfront and stranded at tourist place without an accommodation because of OYO bad service

                  It is becoming a horrible experience for us to choose oyo.

                  Booking: dexi3465firstly we have booked spot on 65237 the hangout beach hutsthen i got a message that my hotel has changed then i talked to ms. Chanda she assured me that no changes in my current hotel booking. Then suddenly i got a message that oyo has changed my hotel to spot on 61339 swami samarth guest house and asked for more money inr 18000/- which i denied to pay and the hotel looks so ugly compared to previous one. I talked to ms. Priya yadav. Without asking me they have changed the amount and told we will bear the cost now no need to pay extra for spot on 61339 swami samarth guest house. As i didn't like this hotel so i asked for alternatives, they gave me an option and told me there will be no extra cost. I talked to mr. Kunnal. Hotel suggestions:-01. Goa2813 - spot on 61339 swami samarth guest house spot02. Goa2594 - spot on 42039 oasis guest house spot03. Goa2976 - spot on 65026 hello guest house 1 spot04. Goa2940 - spot on 64361 casa arambol homestay spot05. Goa2789 - spot on 60009 grand hidden village spottoday morning i told to book spot on 64361 casa arambol homestay, so now customer care telling me that i have to pay extra to get this booking. This is very unethical, i am also working in the hospitality industry and this is not the way to treat any client.

                    My name is naveen jain i booked a hotel from your oyo app for goa trip. From 26 dec 2019 to 31 dec 2019. I paid booking ammount for confirmation. My booking id is xdzu6450
                    Before 2 days of my booking company shifted me in other hotel without taking my permission and also did not give a genuine reason of my shifting. I booked belle velle resort and they shifted me in sanket guest house which is not similer property of my previous booking property. I talked to 30 to 40 times of oyo customer care but no one solved my problem. All. Employee just hold my call for 2 3 minutes but did not responce 25 to 30 minutes at call. Finally i cancelled my booking and my trip is also canceled. So finally i expericed that oyo is biggest no 1 fraud company who give fake promises and fake booking to customers and emolyee of this company are also fraud. Who is jusy working for company profit. They cant help to his customer. Only they can give fake service, fake promise and fake boooking to his customer.
                    Finally i am taking decision to go consumer forum for my complaint.
                    I just want to talk to a proper person who can help me.
                    I will take strictly action against all emplyee who talk to me in 2 days.

                      I had terrible experience with oyo before but somehow forgot and booked a room again in velankanni, the hotelier did not allow me to check in asking payment to be made in cash, when i called oyo they simply hung up the phone kept it engaged made more than 30 mins and didn’t return, when i asked for refund again the same, this will be my last in oyo and i will make 100s will not book oyo thanks

                        I had stayed in oyo 7275 excellent homes at pune on an official work for 7 days, booked through oyo as per booking id: vdac8140.

                        The service apartment manager initially agreed that he would arrange to provide me with an oyo tax invoice at the time of my check-out. But after i left, i got an email with payment details without any gst details. I also tried to contact oyo customer service via [protected], and they never answered my call.

                        I repeatedly contacted the oyo service apartment where i stayed to get tax bills from them. But they said that they cannot give a tax receipt bill as the reservation is done through oyo.

                        As i work with the government of india, they will not reimburse my claims and it is quite difficult for people like me to book rooms with oyo.

                          On 13.11.2019 booked a room in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand in Rhodo Re Treat and Kafal Cottage Booking ID VTGH7582 for 29.12.2019 to 01.01.2020 and make full payment of Rs. 2656 on 22.12.2019 Hotel denied regarding check in and I tried so many times in OYO call centre but instead of resolve my check in issue they are doing nothing. On 23.12.2019 I am trying again and again to OYO customer centre but instead of resolving my problem they are doing nothing. Instead of shifting me another property with same amenities and parking facility they told me to take refund.

                            I've booked a room for my friend on OYO. The details are given below
                            HOTEL NAME: SPOT ON 38751 Hotel Pema Dzong

                            CHECK-OUT - 8th Sep'19
                            ADDRESS - Nam Nang Rd, Towards Lal Bazar, Gangtok
                            Landmark - Nam Nang, MG Marg, Lal Market

                            The Paid booking of Rs. 355 was canceled by the Hotel for some collision between OYO & that hotel (As per Hotel Manager's statement). I've called OYO for this problem and they booked a new residency and canceled the previous one. The booking details are given below.

                            HOTEL NAME: SPOT ON 45440 Hotel Dalam Residency
                            BOOKING ID: GSRP6905
                            CHECK-IN - 7th Sep'19
                            CHECK-OUT - 8th Sep'19
                            ADDRESS - Above Siliguri Taxi Stand, Deorali, Gangtok
                            Landmark - Telephone Exchange, Siliguri Main Line Taxi Stand

                            Again the Manager of the Hotel said there was no booking was made by OYO. It was 7 PM and my friend was struggling here and there for this problem. Again I contact OYO, and I didn't get any support from OYO. Then the hotel manager canceled the booking of OYO and my friend booked the same room directly.

                              Still Payment pending has not been updated on my booking details.
                              It was been told from oyo side, that difference amount would be adjusted as a complementary discount from them. Yet they have not done and on every call there escalation team gives false promises and un-relevant answer.

                              First they shifted my property stay without my concern and now they are not settling difference amount. Why i should pay the amount if first property hotel stay cancellation was not cancelled from my side.

                              My Check-in Date is 25th Dec.

                              I hope you understand my concern. I don't want any last minute issue after reaching hotel.

                              Kindly update the amount and let me know. Waiting since last 6 days for same to happen.

                                I had book rooms for dt. 14th january 2020 on book date 07.08.2019 and i had paid rs. 4, 400/- at oyo hotel code 10758 downtown inn, sector -14, gurgaon.

                                After 15 days i had cancelled my booking but hotel manager mr. Jation garg mobile no. [protected] not return my advance rs. 4, 400/-, i had many times requested him to refund my amount but he is not return my advance.

                                Kindly look into this matter and arrange to refund my amount, hotel manager mr. Jation garg mobile no. [protected] ignore me and return my advance.

                                Direct book OYO rooms hotel code 10758 downtown inn, sector -14, gurgaon on dt. 07.08.2019 for 14th January '2020 paid advance Rs. 4, 400/- on the hotel counter Mgr. Mr. Jatin Garg (M) [protected], after 15days I had cancelled booking of rooms. But Mr. Jatin Garg (M) [protected] NOT refund my advance and ignore me every times.
                                I have made a booking two weeks back and paid full amount for OYO 37788 Bhalobasa Residency. My checkin date was 22nd Dec and checkout was 25th Dec. Now when I called the hotel owner, I got to know the hotel doesn't exist. They closed it 3 months back. Now everytime I am calling oyo, they are putting me on hold and not getting back.

                                    Hi,

                                    We did booking from oyorooms - “oyo 11917 hotel symphony grand”. Booking was done for (Amount 11832/-) 2 rooms (6pax) & payment was done in full, 3 weeks before the reservation dates.

                                    When we arrived at the hotel, we were denied access stating there is a conflict between oyo & the hotel management. This lead to a stressful situation as i had no immediate reservations available.

                                    Oyo had given a confirmation about the booking on 19th 2pm. This means there is a clear absence of communication between oyo & hotel authority.

                                    Moreover, i had to make repetative discussions with the oyo call center as they lacked recording of the issue. Even on 22nd december i received a call and had to explain the issue.

                                    I would like to raise a consumer complaint as overall services by oyo were disrespectful, fraudulent as oyo did kept the payment amount & were not able to assist for the services requested. With completely disorganised approach, 6 of my guests had to dispectfully stay outside the hotel.

                                    With this, i demand not only the refund but also the penalty for creating the awarenss about the situation incurred.

                                      I was travelling professionally i booked a property named kalras bnb in gk delhi, once i reached that property it didnt seemed the way it ws shown on app. It was under construction and highly casual and filthy.
                                      I had 5 luggages the moment i reachd there reception, the man handed me the keys and asked me to move to the room, there was no lift and i had to move to 5th floor as that room was only available as per there saying where the complete place looked isolated, i asked for help but they said i have to help myslf, i carried all 5 luggages by myslf till 5 floor. But the surprises didnt stopped here, more fun to the day the moment i opened the door of room, room was as equal to size of double bed only. It was too small i was unable to walk around, it was that small, and accommodating 5 bags? Ohh forget about that. I immediately reached the owner he said this is all we have to offer against paymnt of
                                      Rs 2790. I reached the oyo customer care one of guest manager named ankit advised me to leave the property and book other property and the regund will be processed. I immediately moved out. The same day i booked another property capital - o in gk delhi. The same day in late evening i was curious to knw about my amount, i checked the status of the same property i was shown checked in, despite the fact i left the property within 20 minutes after dispute. Then again i contacted customer care they verified the complete incident with the owner and the owner agreed upon the things after successful verification the guest manger made assure that i have moved your case in refund bucket sooner it will be refunded, and very gently he apologized for the inconvenience. Since then till today i have contacted more than 200 executives, have sent more than 500 emails, no refund in processed.
                                      Everytime i receive an intimation while i call that your refund is processed, i have 100s proofs ffor that, but still it didnt reach me till. Today, i dnt understand which airplane my refund has boarded that till now its unable to reach me. These customer care people are just fooling me since 6 months. Kindly help in getting my refund of rs 2790 back before i file a fir now. I have been patiently waiting since past 6 months enough of # now. And whenever i call for hours i am kept on hold on name of resolution and after 1.5 hour they disconnect my call.

                                        Phase 1: booked room from goibibo pnr: [protected], booking id: htljetlmw rupees 918/- scheduled checkin: 19 oct, 2019 however, on arrival the receptionist-cum-manager refused check-in room saying couples have been banned from today morning. When asked about alternative/refund, he rudely threw oyo customer care (Cc) number on me.

                                        Phase 2: i called cc, and after a 30 minutes call hold, got another property "yug residency" 100 meter away booking id: skag3765 booked by cc (Priyanka), went there, and again they also refused entry saying they are also not allowing couple entry. Eye opener. The oyo cc didn't even consider to verify entry restrictions with property before allotting me.

                                        Phase 3: height of ignorance happened when i recalled customer care and after 25 minutes of call hold, the call automatically got disconnected. Surely a true test of my patience that day. Re-called customer care and after 15 minutes, cc (Sweeti) suggested to go at an alternate property that came out to be the initial phase 1 property. I frustratingly told them that i am coming from there. Again sky of ignorance. Oyo has no regulation and knowledge about what is happening at ground level. Then, cc booked for me a spot-on property (Hotel pratap inn) for me 3km away. Booking id: bkvm1458 i was very happy.

                                        Phase 4: my happiness didn't survive as i reached there. The rude and ill-mannered receptionist guy told that he has no call/intimation for a transferred booking. When i showed him my app, he reluctantly allowed entry but asked me to pay a separate 800 rupees. But the app and cc from phase 3 were telling only 724 rupees. Still i decided to stay as i was in need.

                                        Phase 5: the receptionist allotted me a hall type room with no ceiling fan, no exhaust fan or ventilation. Bed sheets were not changed and room not cleaned after previous checkout. No washroom toolkit provided, no towel. It was smelling like a dirty dark subway. I vomited within 30 minutes. The receptionist didn't entertain my request for room change saying only that room is free. This is when i decided to immediately checkout. I asked him for refund but he just asked me to talk with cc.

                                        At the end of five faces:
                                        (I) we suffered so much mental frustration and torture along with wastage of time
                                        (Ii) we ended up paying at two places, first at goibibo, then at phase4, that too random-nonsense amount.
                                        (Iii) huge frustration and time waste with over-complex and complicated customer care service.
                                        (Iv) most important, cheap worst than slum level service at phase 5, that spot-on room

                                        Phase 6: i finally called cc around 6pm. Deepak, after listening me for 10 minutes assured for full help and refund of both bookings. Later he transferred call to senior. The call got dropped (Disconnected) as soon as a respected senior picked. Finally from last one and half month, i am desperately writing mails to oyo cc, but no acknowledgement or grievance redressal. Now i have lost courage and motivation to recall cc and repeat same story again n again. Through this complain, i have explained everything. I request you to:
                                        1. Refund amount of both bookings (Phase 4 and phase 1) + extra monetary compensation for mental torture and struggle we faced
                                        2. Take adequate steps to penalize oyo and its affiliated hotels which don't follow guidelines
