We booked the oyo room from december 15-16th, 2019. Oyo's room in hyderabad (Capital o 15079 tfcc
Near ministers quaters, hyderabad) did not have running water in the bathroom, we kept calling the hotel staff and oyo for a resolution but they did not do anything. The hotel staff asked us to move another oyo as the issue will not be resolved. The oyo did not have basic toiletries such as toilet paper too.

We called oyo for a solution, and this is what they responded with:
- placed us on a hold every time we called, and they would disconnect.
- they would say that they will back, but we did not receive a call that night.

Then, we moved to another oyo (44240 premium stay banjara hills) place at 12: 30 am midnight to another location called oyo premium stay. With the recent events happening in the state, it is not fair that make a girl travel to another location. It is a risk to safety too.
- the place did not have signage and there were guys drinking in the lobby.
- they did not provide drinking water bottles. (When asked for water bottles, the staff refilled plastic water bottles unsealed and gave it to us)
- the washrooms were dirty and had many stains (I have attached images as evidence)
- the mattress and blanket was wet as water leaked onto it.
- both rooms did not hot water as claimed on the website
- we had to pay for both the rooms.

Oyo is trying to cheat consumers by uploading images of their rooms that is not true. It is unethical and should be considered illegal as it is not the product that they adverstise on their website.

We received a call from oyo in the morning from different managers but there was no resolution, they said we will receive 20% of our money back. Why should we pay for 2 rooms when it is not our fault?

    Dear concerned
    I am a travel agents in mumbai and i have booked room for myself at pune oyo home 36079 alluring stay near airport from 11-dec-2019 to 12-dec-2019. Here is the 📃 tax invoice for this stay (Booking id - htlbshkquf)
    After finished my meetings i ordered food from outside, it was midnight, i called care taker he refused to take call, and then i went down requesting plate and spoons, i knocked the door, he didint listened i again l\knocked the door, suddenly a man was shouting and abusing, from another building just beside the hotels, i said i am sorry but he again started abusing us saying this is your daily drama and again started abusing below belt. We retaliate with saying stop abusing, he then came down along with 5 people and started beating us and beated that hotel peole along with the person who bring food for me, they bcame into the hotel premises and started beating hotel guest, we have complained the manager in the morning and he assured us they will file police complaint. I was beaten very badly i said he said nbo problem we will sort out this the owner will come in the evening and they will complainant the police after that next day i checked out and next day i follo up the manager and he didnt picked up the phone, i again called he didnt picked up my phone.
    This gives me bad impressions i book oyo rooms in every business meetings but this time it was pathetic and i feel very dark side of my experience as a tour operator you have to attend me carefully but no action has been taken till date please reply what action you are going to take or what should i do

      I have made a booking in oyo on 15th for two nights that is check-in on 16th and check out on 18th my booking id was zcus2834 and my bill amount was rs.1935/-. On 16th i made a modification on my booking like i changed 2 nights to only 1 night. Check-in on 16th and check out on 17th and i got a bill amount of rs 2443/-, on that bill, it's mentioned early check out charge is rs 1421/-. I'm wondering my room charge is only rs 875/- but i got nearly a double amount for a modification. This is my experience, with oyo

        Hi oyo team

        This is with regards to the booking of oyo elegance in coimbatore. When i went there along with 60+ yrs old parents and kid. I was asked to climb 4 floors since the lift was under maintenance on dec12 at 11.30pm. It was already mid night and my old parents couldn't climb the stairs we didn't check in and moved to some other hotel. As promised refund the full amount to my account.

          I have booked the shimala-manali package on 10 sep 2019, 18:30. My booking id is th-tzue2160 i have paid 8500 amount of my shimala manali trip but your sales person mr. Akhil chauhan not responding any more from last 3 months. If you guys are not interested then please revert my money back.

          From 10 sep. To till now i didn't get any call from your sales team. What type of service you are providing. I really proud to be a part of oyo. But your service of oyo total holidays is really bad. Sales team is not coordinating. My phone is provided please call me urgently.

            I have been given booking by oyo customer care in pradeep's hostel in haldwani for 14th dec and checkout was 15th dec. After reaching there i found it of not good for my family as it has no parking available and the rooms are also suffocating. I cancelled it and it was quite late around 10:30 pm. I immediately called again oyo team and they took so much time for giving me another site nearby. Finally they shared the location of shalom hotel on rampur road. Where i reaches around 12 :08 am (Midnight) and due to lack of signals in that region i could not confirm it. But i have no choice to opt it and let my family sleep.in morning when i called up oyo guys for complaining abt the property, they were not listening and just asking for booking id. They should have confirmed it from the hotel manager infact. The room was ok and the washrrom was dirty and very small, no geyser, no phone working in the room, quilt given to us was not good, bed was not in good condition and neither the mattress. I called the owner too complaining the same things, also for the overrated price for this room. He was telling me that he don't take bookings through oyo. However someone at reception at my arrival has taken my details and i was telling him that oyo has quoted rs 1370 for the room occupancy and moreover they have given us oyo bathroom kit too. It is overtly budget room and the owner is crooked. I paid the amount and checked out next morning.

            Suugestion for oyo: pls disown such properties from oyo's list of hotels.

              I seen the promotional thing about downloading the app and getting a room on yall... Well i downloaded the app and used the code and it was my first time booking with oyo... But i still was made to pay for the room... I called customer service and they give me a web address to send a picture of the promotional thing ti the web address but when i went to take a picture... They just all the sudden didnt have any more at the front desk... But i have a friend that litterly just left there right before i pulled up and said he seen the promotional thing in the room when he was walking out... I am wanting either a reimbursement or the free room i should have been given... Like the promotional item said...

                The worst experience i ever had with hotel check-in.
                The room was totally different than the one shown in

I had multiple calls with oyo but every time they said that the call is being transferred to the concerned department, but the call was never transferred and i waited for more than 30mins on hold, but no response. And in one of the call, the call was interconnected with some other customer. Like seriously? We literally waited outside the hotel in the heat for almost 2 hours. We were already late with our tour schedule which was due to oyo's complete ignorance/ unresponsive attitude. Being frustrated and tired we had to check-in for the same unsatisfactory room. A real bad experience. Oyo this is complete fraud, you have to seriously look after this matter. The hotel staff himself said that he also complaint multiple times about the misleading
                Pictures but oyo didn't care at all. What a shame for such a reputed company. Imagine the trouble we had to go at the end time during check-in when all other hotel prices were hiked as well. How is oyo gonna make up for the time and energy we lost for our tour?

                  I paid for my oyo. They sent message saying "due to unavoidable circumstances they will have to transfer/cancel my booking" i tried contacting them for reassurance as this happened one day before my booking. After calling me 4 times just to say my booking is not confirmed, when i finally called them to cancel my booking and return my money, they denied it directly saying if they have to cancel, they will cancel later but right now they can't help me. How can they leave a customer in uncertainty due to issues between the hotel and the company. Please help me with this. They are neither giving me my money back nor surity of booking confirmation.

                    They denied me room at the property. It was so humiliating!

                    The property manager claimed that the "price i paid" was lower than "what they want". Now, i have following complaints:

                    1. I booked this much earlier. Why should i come to know about this issue only after reaching the property? Why they didn't raise the issue in first instance?
                    2. Still i got it verified through oyobookings. [protected]@oyorooms.com on nov 21, 2019, 18:46 (Check the email they sent me to [protected]@gmail.com). Payment was thereafter made by credit card. Why no contact was made with the property to avoid customer harassment?
                    3. On the day of checking in (14 dec 19), before going to the property, i called (From [protected]) the oyo customer care (The number is [protected]) and asked to confirm it from the property itself. Oyo agent literally assured that i can check in (He talked to the property reception and said everything is fine with the reservation). However, property manager denied everything on my face. I still don't know who lied to me!?
                    4. Then i called oyo customer care (The number is [protected]) from my cellphone (The number is [protected]). Oyo agent neither negotiated with property manager nor adjusted (Shift/cancel) my booking.in fact he failed to keep each and every request i made (Check the phone record). He asked me to do it myself and pissed me off!!
                    5. Despite doing everything right, i had to suffer and my whole day was ruined. It was a long duration of embarrassment, frustration and argument.
                    6. This is the second time this happened to me which made me feel "oyo doesn't give # about customers". It will remain same and i will circulate the same if you do not make it up to me.
                    7. High time to rectify the system/technology you use, it was useless to solve my problem.
                    8. Never again in my life, will i ever book from oyo. Oyo team better turn up. They are exploiting citizens.

                      I had booked a room on 14 december 2019 on spot 64116 with the check-in time of 12 pm and check out time of 11 am on 15th of december with a booking id of xeil7802 i had already paid the booking amount. At the time of check-in at the hotel the receptionist said that the check checkout time is 14th december midnight and he didn’t allow me to check-in into the hotel so i have i had gone for cancellation of the booking and had i had not received and refund amount also while arguing with the receptionist and the customer care people of oyo they have wasted an hour hour and a couple of hours but i didn’t get the refund amount

                        Oyo app used fake name on app and when we visit on holet then hotel name are different. For same resion we cancel my booking then her employe are told me it's not refundebal. This app are fake and cheeter with all peoples. Customer care no also not provide proper support. And using abuse language when we took with as. This is very bad and kindly do action on this app. Karndeep also be one of her employe. He also not sold my problem. Only he put the call on hold. Or cut the call from oyo sides. This is not good.                           I booked an oyo room in 'oyo 6825 new crescent citadel' (Booking id: jeoh8034) for 2 days (26-28 oct 2019) (Fare paid through online: 1833 rs). While checking in to the oyo the property manager demanded extra money of rs. 3000 and told the property is not accepting online payments. I paid extra 3000 in the property also. When i called oyo care regarding this they assured me they will process the refund of 3000 rs that i paid extra. I got the refund of only 1833. But its been almost 2 months i have't got the refund of extra money of rs. 1167. I called there helpline so many times they are saying that they processed the refund but i'm not getting any refunds.
                          Here whats the point of online bookings and payments through oyo.

                          Please find the attached invoice of the money i paid extra in the hotel.

                          Apart from that i booked another oyo room 'oyo 9418 jade springs hotel' (Booking id: qavs1048) for two days (14-16 dec 2019) and paid 1274 online. But oyo cancelled the booking at the day of check in (14 dec 2019) and refunded rs.667. While completing a booking they are not specifying anything about automatic cancellation. This is a cheating. They are doing that on the check in date. I'm travelling from airport/railway station. When i called helpline they told that if i re-book that booking in any other oyo then only i'll get the refund and they booked an oyo which is more distant.
                          Facing these kind of issue from a company like this is a shame.

                            I was booked rooms for 15persons in capital o 29130 brindhavan hotels on the date 23rd november 2019.. Hotel manger called through oyo number and asked for my personal number and he talked rudely and thretened that he will not allocate room for me. Suddenly i was complained to customer care and asked other property. But from customer care side they supported property manager. And finally asked me to cancel booking and my money will refunded. After i canceled the booking it is shown as not refunded. Second time on called oyo and asked for refund. He said he started the process within 2 hours you will get call. Till now i didn't received any call from oyo. Customer care told that they refund my money. But no steps have been taken. Kindly resolve this problem.

                              This was the worst experience. I had booked rooms in manali and when i went to check in to our hotels the owner says that we are not having any tie up with oyo. If you people dont have tie up with them then why do you keep the option of booking in manali. There are so many people coming over there and trusting that you people provide hotels over there, shame on you people. After cancellation when our refund amount is initiated it will take 7-14 working days ok i waited for that but no amount have been intiated till now. I have cancelled 2 booking, one is for 1274 and another one is for 1596 on 25th of nov. When i call customer care they wont respond properly they make us to wait or cut the call very poor response, registeredmobile number [protected]

                                We have booked an oyo total package in the mid of november 2019, the package was finalized and the oyo support was assisting us till this point.
                                Paid an advance of rs.30000 to lock the package for a trip in the month of february.
                                After the payment, there is no update from the oyo support people.
                                Flights/visa/hotel bookings for the trip have not been started.
                                No confirmation on the payment, i have been following up from nov 23 and there is no response from there/either on mails or calls.
                                The person who assisted this is not responding to the calls.
                                Looks like a cheat case, where they just wanted the money and they aren't trying to support the customer.
                                Request is to refund the money

                                Still not received any refund, though the customer care informed within 48 hours, the refund would be successful.
                                Also the package was cancelled without informing us, telling its a server error.
                                No refund/no basic communication.
                                Pathetic customer service.
                                Where is my refund, the support had sent a mail and yet there is no refund
                                The refund was promised by Sunday.
                                Shared the package Id on the mail chain.
                                Worst customer support and service provided by Oyo.
                                It's more than 25 days and the refund is still not completed.
                                Customer service doesn't respond, mails have been sent continuously, yet no one cares to respond!

                                  I paid the booking amount in advance. But after reaching the hotel the hotel person told me that i could not check in because the amount showed in the app is less than the amount which the hotel wants. After contacting the oyo customer executive they told me to leave that hotel and go to some other hotel where they will make the arrangements. But at 12 midnight i didn't want to take my wife somewhere else in a new city where i don't know anything. So i paid some extra amount and somehow got the room in the same hotel. Meanwhile my wife started crying looking at the inconvenience and the situation we faced here. I request you to punish these people harshly.

                                    My oyo room check in date was 19 nov 2019. I tried to check in lambher guest house, lambher guest house, katagla, kasol, himachal pradesh.
                                    But the owner denied saying "he will not accept the booking (Nzki1028).
                                    We contacted the customer support but didn't received any expected help even after talking to supervisor from some escalation team. They promised call back but received that call post 6 pm. No contact till the time even after explaining that hotel is place almost at a remote place no local transport available and we have lady travellers with us.
                                    Owner says you people owe them more than lac.
                                    We faced this embarrassment after walking km (Hill climb included with luggage) and after paying partial advance payment.
                                    Oyo people just neglected the concept of hotel and their first rule to provide guest security and safety.
                                    Moreover we paid 3000 hard cash at the check in at same hotel.
                                    Now we are asking oyo to compensate the difference and the refund of the pyment oyo people disconnecting the call.
                                    Supervisor do not know how to communicate with the in any proper language they just talk whatever they want to say and very rude.
                                    I don't understand how they get promotion with this attitude and skills.
                                    Please help and settle this case.

                                      Paytm for OYO. On 20th October, I booked a Hotel ‘Hotel South End’ in Chandigarh, Booking ID IOKE7812. They informed me tha5t that coupon will be applied at the time of checkout. But during checkout, the coupon was not working and I had to pay via Cash. When we arrived in Delhi, we filed this complaint with OYO. On 25th Oct, we received an email from them assuring us that in the next booking they would provide me a complimentary stay for 1500 INR in future booking (Ref ID[protected]
                                      On 15th May, 2019, I booked a hotel (Booking ID PASZ2107) it this amount was never adjusted in this booking. When I called the customer care, they refused to adjust that complimentary stay and again I had to pay cash. On 14th Aug, again a hotel was booked (Booking ID DPYH and again the refusal by customer care and payment being made in cash.
                                      On 1st DEC, I again booked a hotel In 2018, I purchased a coupon from(HQDT5083) and again requested for OYO to adjust this amount but they refused and hence I cancelled the booking. The next day, I called customer care and they booked a hotel on my behalf BKAJ2956 ‘Hotel Venus’ OYO property no. 444 from 14-15 Dec. The room rent for that hotel is 1806 INR and they adjusted 1500 in this and I only had to pay the balance amount and I was satisfied with this resolution. But on 9th Dec, I got a message from OYO that due to unavoidable circumstances we need to change your booking (the booking ID BKAJ2956) from Capital O444 Hotel Venus to another Hotel and without my permission or consultation they booked a hotel ‘Urban Inn’. The room rent in this case was 1231 INR and they adjusted the complimentary stay amount for 90INR instead of 1500. I called them once again and they said the rent of this hotel is less due to which they cannot apply the 100 Coupon. Also, they suggested if I want to book a hotel of my liking I will need to cancel this booking and book a new hotel and they will apply this 1500 coupon in that booking. So I cancelled that on 9th Dec and the next morning I booked a new Hotel with booking ID FOKV8759. The room rent was 1693 INR and then I called the customer care, they continue to assure me that we are working on your request and they will get back to me. But I didn’t receive anything from them that day.
                                      On 11th Dec, in evening I got an email from them saying that they have already applied this coupon in the booking ID BKAJ2956 and they cannot provide the complementary stay to me.
                                      Now, due to your technical issues, that coupon was wasted and I have followed every instruction you provided me and still I haven’t received and resolution. It’s been 14 months and still you have no resolution for this issue. In the last conversation, all you have said to me is we cannot do anything.
                                      This is not how you provide a resolution, in all the way, the fault was yours and I should not be penalized for that. Correct this and provide a satisfactory resolution.

                                        I want to bring to your notice an incident where oyo has failed majorly at service and customer support. It is a very serious matter of negligence and lack of efficiency and desire to ensure customer satisfaction.

                                        My partner isha chatterjee had made an online booking for 2 people on the 27th of november (Booking no. Dyzl7450) from 1st to 3rd december with an amount of rs.1338, which was fully paid. She was traveling from bangalore and her flight 6e-714 (Pnr: llzqmq) was delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions. The purpose of her visit to kolkata was to undergo surgeries because of a physical injury. I made several calls throughout the day to the number mentioned in the booking confirmation message ([protected]) to confirm our stay and inform of our late arrival. Though i was repeatedly ensured over the phone that it's not going to be an issue, on reaching the property at around 11:45 pm on 1st december, i was not allowed to enter, stating the reason that entry is denied after 10 pm. This crucial piece of information was very conveniently left out by oyo in all of their messages as well as in the app while booking. A ruckus was created at the middle of the night and reckless & rowdy behavior of security at the main gate forced us to take help from the local police, after whose intervention we were allowed to enter the property, vedic village. The problems were far from over when i reached my villa finally at 12:45 am of 2nd december and found the caretaker person unavailable, even after calling him for around 20 times. Even after being ensured by your customer service people that it has been communicated to the caretaker of our special case of late arrival, i was left stranded in the middle of nowhere in the dead of the night without a place to stay and with a woman in crutches with me.

                                        After losing all hope, my partner and i decided to book another hotel using your preposterous app (Booking no. Jmrz4603) for the same duration i. E., 1st to 3rd. On reaching red velvet inn we were dismayed by the disparity in the pictures shown in the app and reality. It was a third grade shady property in a slum. As we were left with no other option at 2:00 am, humiliated and unsecured to an inexpressible level, that too in the present "rape - every girl on the street" india, we checked in to take shelter.

                                        Next morning we receive a call from the caretaker of vedic village claiming illicit reasons for not taking our calls. After persistent request from him, and also disgusted by the hotel we had checked in, we decided to move back. Again began a never ending call spree to your amazing customer support requesting them to change our booking till the 2nd of december instead of the 3rd. After 2 hours and innumerable transfers of my call, i finally got hold of a person who claimed to have understood my situation and asked me to make the complete payment of rs. 2436 and a refund of half will be initiated. After waiting for another couple of hours, not having received any refund message we were forced to pay the entire amount at red velvet inn and leave as the check out time was approaching, something which should have been a compensation by o yo. Spending thousands of rupees for relocation we finally reached vedic village again, only to fall prey to the stupid protocol and their harassment tactics. We were not allowed to enter this time as we called the police to the property the previous night and also for not having a photocopy of our id proofs, another requirement of the property that was conveniently left out by the great oyo. As the property was in an interior location, we had to travel for 5 km again just to get a copy of out id cards. Upon completing all this tasks and reaching the property and settling down, we received a call from a oyo staff confirming our arrival and check in at the vedic village villa. To our surprise after an hour or so we receive another message of cancellation of the entire booking at vedic village which was not instructed at all in the numerous calls that we both had to make. We were asked to relocate again spending another thousand bucks which was upright outrageous as we had confirmed that we had reached and even checked in. Ultimately, we requested the caretaker himself to let us stay and he demanded a whooping rs. 1600 which again we had to pay him.

                                        In entirety we were held on calls by your customer care agents all day but still did not receive any sort of help even when it was completely your fault for leaving out information and not informing correct personnel even after assuring the customer of the same. We have been mentally, physically and financially tortured by oyo rooms and such a negligent act causes breach of trust compatible for a criminal case as well as consumer protection law suit.

                                        I demand you to reimburse all the embarrassment, humiliation and financial compensations as soon as possible.
