somethings cant be forgiven. And OYO rooms has just crossed the limits with me. my parents ( in their seventies) were supposed to travel back to india (via delhi), and had a morning flight to sgx. To ensure their comfort i booked a decent room at Hotel The Class, A-282, Mahipalpur, Near IGI Airport Delhi via OYO rooms. OYO send me a nice confirmation email stating that my booking is confirmed. (BOOKING NO. JYTV2465 ) My parents reached india at 1:30 am, took a cab and repeatly called the hotel on their way to hotel but they didnt response. Finally someone picked and to my parents horror, hotel told them they know they have booking but they cant accomodate them, and they should go away. They told them to try other hotels ( and it was 3 a.m in the morning) and were very rude to them. My parents tried their best to pursuade them but all in vain. They had to spend whole right to look for alternate hotel, in an unknown city, and eventually they failed and came back to airport. I simply cant understand, how can someone do this to senior citizen. to make the condition worst, when i called them up them refused to comment and told me to do whatever it takes. the best they can do is give me some coupon worth 1/4 of the price of hotel. i dont care about the money. it is not about the cost, it is about deceiving people and playing with their trust. i would strictly warn all other people to be aware of these cheaters, and never ever depend on them. i am planning to teach these goons a lesson for life. i am going to take to the next level be it via lawyer, or consumer courts.
This is regarding booking id olxw0163 made for noida dnd flyway oyo room. This was one of the worst experiences i ever had.
I checked in at 10 30 p. M. And the place was worse than the store room of a 30 year old house.
1. Walls were spit all over
2. The place was so dirty.
The room was such a pathetic and dirty room full of mosquitoes and filth. Bedsheets seemed like not changed for over a decadde.
The staff was so rude and uncivilised.
I raised my concern and they were so unkind and were simply indifferent.
How did you list this property?
I am planning to file my complaint in the consumer forum and all other means possible.
I demand a proper explaination and action from oyo rooms.
You have let a regular guest of yours down big time.
Thanks

Horrible……Never use Oyo Rooms..Worst experience of my life.
I booked a room and paid in full.

On the day when I was supposed to check in, I got a call from customer care of Oyo that due to electrcity failure they are shifting me to another hotel ( complete lie, I checked with the hotel ).

Then when i reached japiur I kept on calling the reception number given to me by Oyo. No one picked. They gave me another no . No was out of service.

Then I again got a call that my hotel is being changed. New no was provided but when i dialled the no I was told that no rooms were available.

I called Oyo Rooms again. They put me on hold on the pretext of finding out the details and I waited for 15 mins but they kept me on hold.
I called again and they again put me on hold.

Then 3rd time when I called they asked me if my wife’s id has anywhere written that I am her husband. They have roms for married couple only and i need to provide prrof that my wife is actually my wife HA HA HA. Luckily my wife’s id had my name ( Wife of / instead of Daughter of .

They again disappered saying that they will send me sms with hotel details.
In the meanwhile I received around 20 sms giving me different hotels’s details and tank you sorry and all.
After 3 hrs I got a room which was around 20 Km from railway station. Initially they promised me room near railway statation.
Room was bad, staffs were non existent and overall I can say I dont have to describe how bad the propert was.

      Address: Bangalore, Karnataka

My cousin sister had visited Bangalore on 17th April, and I booked a single occupancy room through Oyo Rooms. The room was priced at 1199, with a discount coupon of Rs. 100, it was Rs. 1099. I booked the room, and selected the payment option as "Pay at the hotel". To be sure, I reached the hotel, and asked them if the booking was confirmed. They said yes, but the amount due was Rs. 1199, and coupon codes or discounts information are not with them and the order was incomplete so I have to pay Rs. 1199 (even thought his Tab showed 1099 as amount to be collected from the customer). I requested Oyo Rooms customer support to send me a payment link over email to be sure I book the room in advance and pay Rs. 1099 through Card. After 3 rounds of telephonic calls in 4 hours and promise of "immediate" sending of the payment link, I finally got a payment link after 4 hours. I made the payment immediately. My sister arrived, and we reached hotel. The hotel staff had no information about the online payment. They made us call Oyo rooms, and after talking to the Oyo guy, the receptionist let us in and showed the room, and took our Identity card to be returned back during checkout. Next morning, while checking-out, there was a different lady "Sandhya" who again started the whole story of payment not received (as it did not reflect in her Tablet provided by Oyo). I showed her the transaction SMS, then she changed the story saying "but this payment is for Rs. 1099, for one person, but for 2 people it's 1499. I told her I just came her to pick my sister and I did not stay in the room in the night. Then she changed the story back to "I did not receive any email from Oyo). Then I showed her my transaction confirmation and payment email, with SMS. But she insisted until she gets an official email on "their hotel's email id", she will not proceed with the checkout. We called Oyo, and as per their standard "Callback in few minutes", we called 3 times their customer care, and no one helped us out. Each of their executives is automated robot types who just give a standard response "we are escalating the issue and we will call you back shortly). Since my sister had a flight to catch, and alread 45 minutes of waiting at the counter trying to make Oyo guys talk to the hotel staff were futile as they were all in the process of "responding back in few minutes". Since we were getting late, and I did not have enough cash in my pocket, I offered to the hotel lady to keep my mobile phone (Xiaomi Redmi 4G) worth Rs. 10, 000. She immediately agreed to keep it. And agreed to give a written note that it will be returned after we deposit the Cash, or if Oyo Rooms send them an email with the confirmation that the payment has been completed. The mobile phone was seized, and we left to drop my sister to the airport. I hope my mobile is in safe condition and I hope to get it again. It was an embarrassing situation and a really backward, just like the atrocious landlords in the Mother India days. Oyo is a communication disaster and I would not recommend anyone to use their services. The Oyo guys do not talk to Hotel staff on their phone, nor do the Hotel staff take any responsibility on behalf of Oyo and they ask you to make all the phone calls. It's an unholy marriage between two irresponsible parties and if anything wrong happens in such situation, both parties will keep blaming each other. Please do not use Oyo services AT ALL! They must be inexpensive, buy they are really "CHEAP". I hope my mobile phone is safe with the hotel receptionist.
