Passport office hyderabad — delay in dispatching passport

I have filed my passport application on May end and my enquiry and everything got over by 6th June.From last one month I have been seeing the same status on internet site for passport enquiry.I am in bad hurry of passport as I am married and I need to go with my husband. THere seems to be no end of this pain. Normally it takes 1week to 10days after policy enquiry but in my case enquiry is over, report is sent and only wait is for passport to be dispatched. I dont know how come such a high profile office has no system, even to know the correct status of your application.

Dear sir,
I had applied for passport (FILE NO: - HYD W712480/08) in the month of July on 11/07/2008 through Osmania Post office. Police report had been sent to passport office on 04/09/2008. As per the passport web site it was showing that my passport was dispatched on 06/10/2008 when I saw the status last week and dint receive the passport but now its showing massage that I would be dispatched within a week .

Even I visited passport office many times to know about my passport detail. There was no proper response from concern authorities and I called many times on passport office telephone number I didn't get any response.
Please consider my issue and make sure that you issue my passport at the earliest.

i had applied for my passport in july month on 11/07/2008 through post office. Police report had been sent to passport on 04/09/2008. now dispacth date is showing on internet i.e on 06/10/2008.But still i did not receive my passport. when i called on passport office no one is picked.

There is no proper response when i approched passport.

I am Vavilala somasekhar with passport file number Z608304, I have applied for my passport on 08-may-2009 and the police enquiry is also over. Actually when I first went to Internet to check my passport status it is given that "your police verification is over and your passport will be dispatched on 01-july-2009" and i saw the same when i checked the status again on 15-july-2009. But from 16-july-2009 every time I checked the status of my passport it is showing that "we regret to say this that due to un avoidable reasons the dispatch of your passport is delayed and will be dispatched in a week's time", even today also i found the same message there. I went to the passport office at Hyderabad but no use, recently i got slected for a company and they are asking me to bring my passport on the date of joining, now I became helpless. So, I request you to kindly help me in this and I hope that I can recieve my passport soon with your kindness.

I had submitted fresh passport form application on dated 21 July 2008. The reference file number is F024000.

The police verification was completed in KPHB Colony, Hyderabad . After few days in their website, they asked me to submit PPF form to respective passport office in hyderabad due to one year not completed in current address. But we were staying in this house for past three years and i did submit the ration card proof during verification.

But again i submitted the PPF form with that proof and again i don't see any response from them . The Status in their website remains the same. I had written a complaint to the passport officer reg the same and again but yet there is no response .

Now i have to travel out of India by next month end and still I don’t have any update

Please let us know

Until second week of December the status was in this way “Passport will be dispatched on[protected] subject to all documents being in order”. But I could neither received an enquiry not the passport from the Ghaziabad office yet.

Because of this reason, the latest application also has been put on hold and I was asked to provide explanation and asking me to surrender the first passport.

Can I please get an answer to my grievance? In spite of my several reminders and meetings with the people personally in Hyderabad I have not got an answer to my problem. I don’t understand the kind of HARRESSMENT we are being put to just for a RENWAL OF PASSPORT that too applied on TATKAL for a MINOR of 6 years.

Please place your self in my place and see what if your daughter had been missing school since 3 months. How shall the child cover the portion? And now the school is not willing to wait and want to strike her name off the roles. How much concern would this be to you.

Please sir, Can some officer look into this matter and let us know why we are being harassed since 4 and half months for a minor passport renewal.

I have been told 3 weeks back that the passport is in the dispatch center when I check at the dispatch center they don’t give any answer. I am not sure if the same is true.. The status on the website of the passport office was never updated. Except for the police verification update done.

I have applied for an Indian Passport to the Passport office in Hyderabad on[protected] in Jamai-Osmania Post Office, situated in Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad-500 007. When ever I see the status of my application in the web site of the passport office of Hyderabad since April this year, to my surprise it shows that the “Police Report has not been received”. But I have also received a copy of the letter from the Passport section of Cyberabad Police commissionerate of Hyderabad that the police report has been sent to the passport office on[protected], with a Lr. No. 116 and S.No. 69. I have lodged complaints to mail id of passport office given in their web site several times. But no response. No response when ever I call the phone numbers given in their web site. Will the passport office take ten months to issue a passport ?

Till now I haven't receive my passport. Moreover the information updated on the website is not updated.It still shows that 3 copy of passport size photograph is needed although I have submitted my photographs 3 times. I already met PRO regarding this but nothing happened.

I'm charan tej thota applied for passport on 04 may 2010.I'm a resident of Machlipatnam and I pursued my B Tech in Vijayawada.So at the time of applying I gave both address for enquiry and I completed my enquiry on 6 jun 2010 in Vijayawada. Later when I saw my status in passport enquiry it was stated as below "Police Report is adverse, a show-cause notice is being sent by Post".But i did not received anything by post.So waiting for few days for the post i came back to Hyderabad passport office and enquired and the problem is in Vijayawada police enquiry and they mentioned that this boy is not residing here though I went there for enquiry.In Hyderabad office they asked to write a request letter and then afterwards asked to complete ppf form and then there is a police enquiry again held in Machilipatnam and no more news from Vijayawada .

I need the passport urgently and I applied long back met the officers personally yet there is not action took place .I don't understand the kind of HARASSMENT taking place.this is the issue regarding my career please kindly do something. I don't understand why this thing is happening though i did what all things that I can do.

I strongly agree. No matter how many complainter they recieve, they will not change. I feel we, who apply for passports should also change. If we stop approaching brokers, there may be some improvement, Govt will not do anything. It is we, who has to change.

I am completely Agree with you, Everyone knows this, but still nothing is happening. I have applied my Passport on 3rd Jun-2010. All Verification completed by 10th of Aug-2010. Till Date (31st March-2010) I have not yet received my passport. I have enqure with PRO and APO for 5-6 Time. Every Month, If i go then they give only one answer, " My Passport is ready, People will dispatch my passport in one Week and I will get my passport in 10 days". There is no change in Online status and till date I have not yer received my passport too.

When I asked to brokers, He said, Paid Rs. 100000, so he will get me passport in 10 days. For cross verification, when I asked, Why you required this much money, then he replied that, , he has to give it to PRO and other people...


This is what the same on Indipendent India, I feel, Corruption is the only things leave in india. There is no value for legel things.

I too agree this passport office in hyderabard n officials are an holes, just to renew my passport I went to passport office two time I have to wait for 8-10 hours in long que of 400-500 still I dint even got entry in passport office.

Police I'll treat public, this official n police r corrupted they don't bother people come allover andhra pradesh to get there passport work n they have to sufferr a lot.

But this crroupted basteds never cange nor govt is interested to look in this matter.
