My name is KalpeshKumar D. Mistry. Fort Songadh Dist tapi. My Birth certificate verification is sent to DISTRICT REGISTRAR OF BIRTH AND DEATH, CHIEF HEALTH DISTRICT OFFICER, DIST PANCHAYAT OFFICE,DARIMAHAL ROAD, MOGLISURA,SURAT. From Surat Passport office. The passport authority sent three time verification to that office on 23/7/2010, 30/08/2010, 24/09/2010. to the Registrar office, But till now the verification has not been received by the Registrar office of the adress given above. So please look into the matter and do the helpful.

Subject: Police Clearance certificate

My wife and I got married in May 2011 and she is in the process of completing her immigration papers for US immigration. Her petition for Visa is in process and at present Police Clearance certificate is required. Being a resident of Surat, she went to get PCC from Passport office and she was requested that she should g ofor new passport. Her applicaion has been submitted with her maiden name and by having passport with other name will complicate the visa process. Another thing She can hold on to her name all her life if she does not wish to change as threre is no law in India which says after merriage woman should change her name. I have reviewed a Hindu Marriage Act-1955.

I would really appreciate if you help us in this matter.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I have a complain against people working at Passport office, Bahumadi, Surat. The lady handling everything there was very rude and did not give me any details about the form asked me to come with the filled form the next day. When i filled the form and submitted she rudely said that they need a printed form. Moreover the printed form will be partially printed as some of the data has to be written in the form then why not take the written form itself? Moreover i had to request her a lot to give me some more briefing on the form filling. She almost shouted at me as if I am nagging her for hours.
    I did my homework on my part and did go through the passport site by government of India but what is written there and actually asked at the office is totally different and they wont even listen to you. I would like you to take quick action on the people concerned and ask them to be polite as we are the citizens and she is there to help and not just collect the form.

    I totally agree with you. I have had the similar experience at the same office. Most of the staff I met were either rude or won't help you at all. She was shouting at all the people even if they made a minor mistake in the form. She could have been more polite and could have explained the mistake rather shouting like an illiterate person. I had to visit their office four times just to reissue the passport. And irritating thing is they won't tell you the mistakes in one meeting, rather point out one mistake and every day.

    This kind of behavior from either government or any other employee is not exceptable at all. Some actions must be taken.

      Respected sir,
      I submited my app. for passport by[protected] by app. no. surBoo8561 & get som big trubles by that I have to submit som documents & afidevits but they are not giving me received copy of any document & afidevit submited by me time by time to them as per their demand & taking tremondus time in action.
      The responce come like i[censored] want received copy u may take back your documents.Kindly help me out sir. I required it on urgent basis for my admissions.
