On 9th jan we booked a Oyo room in goa through paytm and paid via net banking through an SBI account. However, due to poor conditions of the room we requested a change of lodgings from Oyo Rooms.
The next day, oyo room shifted us to a different hotel and informed us that they initiated a refund of ₹8, 396 which should take 7-10days. It's been more than 2 weeks now and the refund isn't to be seen anywhere, neither to the paytm wallet from which the booking was made nor to my bank account.
On speaking with Oyo Rooms executives, they informed us that they had initiated the refund on 10th January 2016 itself. Although the amount was sent in two parts, with respective refund IDs. Also, shockingly from their end the refund is successful, which means that the amount should have been visible in the paytm wallet but it's not.
On being asked to contact PayTM, we have been trying their customer support number, which doesn't seem to deal with so many issues as is it, and we even sent a mail to paytm.com/care. Sadly, the only response we got from PayTM was to ask for the order ID and amount. Then on, ie 28th January 2016 onwards, any mail that we've sent to paytm regarding our grievance has not been reverted to. I ve really lost the feeling of convinience, trust and security o[censored]sing the paytm gateway.
I AM GETTING THE FEELING THAT BOTH OYO ROOMS AND PAYTM HAVE CHEATED US WITH OUR REFUND.
I have to write this because back to back twice I have to suffer as I used paytm service.
1st query : Bus gets canceled without any prior information and We come to know just before 1 hour of departure time and that also when we called for bus number and spot for bus departure, that time it was known that bus got cancelled...I was with my family standing with luggage what a horrible situation...neither bus provider nor paytm were taking any action on this.
2nd query: Due to above cancellation we have no option then to re-book bus.
But again we have to face problem.
1) We were not boarded to the selected bus we booked via paytm application. When we argue with bus service provider he said if you want then go to this bus or cancel your tickets (provider: yaks transport, opposite gurudwara near manju ka tila, Delhi)
2) It was 9:30 PM, so we boarded to the bus, it was old khatara bus, which got stuck in the middle at around 70-80 KM before Mandi, due to some engine problem at midnight 3:30.
3) On contacting with bus operator he said if you have to then go to Manali at your experience. OR wait till bus gets repairs (estimated time required will be 7-8 hours as discussed with bus driver)
4) There was some noise comming from the beginning so we started asking questions to bus driver, Driver told that bus was kept in parking and not used since last 6 month.
5) We have to travel all the way to Manali with our own with public transport which was started at 7 onwards.
6) We have to pay 70/- per person to go to Mandi and 260/- per person from Mandi to Manali (total of 310/- per person) this caused delayed by 8 hours, instead of reaching Manali at 7:30 morning we reached at 3 pm.
And we got shocked to hear that the bus in which we came was no longer allows to use for Manali transport.
When I contact to paytm customer service, they said write us your queries.
You guys just think at the midnight 3:30 along with family and luggages if you get such response what will be your reaction...
